So I waited on hold for 13 minutes. I talked to three people that put me back on hold. I made my order December 22 it's now January 6. They tell me it's supposed to be delivered today between 8 AM and 8 PM. I let them know I have to go to work 3 PM when I made the purchase. Now that it is the day of delivery I am unable to get a hold of anybody to relay that message a second time. We will see. I was told there is no one that can talk to me from the pro desk or order scheduling. They are on lunch. It was 8:45am on a Thursday. I spent $1200.00 with them more then two weeks ago and this is how they take care of me and my purchase. I have made other orders with them in the past and similar issues have occurred. Had to wait a week for my delivery. Then two out of the three items delivered "Not what I ordered" so the went back. Waited another week to get the right products. That was an $800.00 purchase. So if you work a job and want to buy from the Home Depot. Good luck to you. Give it 3 to 5 weeks and try to have a backup friend ready to wait for your order to come. The Aberdeen, WA Home Depot needs to up the accuracy of inventory listed online as to what actually is in their store and ready for delivery/purchase. On Monday 10/31 I ordered and paid for 28 6x8 cedar fence panels ($4700), the store site indicated their were 29 in stock. They were to be delivered on Wednesday 11/2. At 7:30 pm on 10/31 I received a message that the panels we're not in stock as advertised and my order could not be processed and delivered on 11/2. This is the second incident I have encountered in the last two weeks as a gate I purchased online was not in stock either although the website indicated 11 in the Aberdeen store. I was not notified that it was out of stock until I went to pick it up after driving from Raymond to Aberdeen. A very helpful employee named Dana did attempt to get panels delivered but could not get it done in the timeframe needed. She was the only positive part of this last Home Depot experience as I will have go elsewhere for materials. read more

I was in need of two NPT hose fittings so I called Home Depot yesterday. I talked to a lady who went looking and came back to the phone to tell me that YES, they had them in stock. As Home Depot is a 20 minute drive from where I live, I often phone ahead if there is any question. I also prefer to shop locally whenever I can. So first thing today I was off to get my fittings to complete the current project I am doing. Once I arrive and spend 15 minutes looking where she had said they were to no avail, I asked for help. And who should be the one to come to my aid, why of course the very same lady I had talked to on the phone just yesterday. What a surprise when she informs me that NO, they do have have any NPT fittings. When I asked her why she would tell me they had them when clearly they didn't, her reply was "that's not what I meant". Seriously? I left empty handed even though I had another 200 bucks worth of tools and such on my shopping list that I was going to purchase just because I was already there. Sheer incompetence . read more

purchased an LG washer and dryer and included the extended warranty on 12/27/19. I asked the sales person if I would have any issues getting service, she said I would not. I called for service on 5/10/21, the washer was making banging sounds when it was doing a high speed spin. After waiting about 3 weeks I finally got a hold of the service company. They said they had me scheduled for 6/8/21. The service person called the morning of 6/8 to confirm that I would be here. Then he called around 3:30 asking what was wrong, I explained what it was doing, he so oh it may need parts and I'm running late. We need to reschedule. It called back latter and said I was rescheduled for 7/8/21 a whole month latter. I called Home Depot to see if they could do anything, they responded after 3 days saying there wasn't anything they could do. Then I was disappointed to see a number of customers not wearing masks and no Home Depot employee challenging them. Well here we are again, wishing I could select "0" Stars for absolutely miserable performance. HOME DEPOT ABERDEEN continues to FAIL to live up to the miserably low standards the company maintains. This company is obviously run by a bottom feeding number cruncher who is not at all interested in customer service and just wants profit to up his/her salary. So what happened I struggled thru their less than user friendly automation system to place in order to place an order for 300 Retaining wall block for a contractor who is doing the job (and won't deal with Home Depot because of their poor performance) When I finally got in the system they only had 110 O/H in Aberdeen and after finally getting ahold of "Customer Service" was told they didn't know when they'll get anymore. I opted to take the 110 blocks and paid for home delivery which was setup for October 5 or 6th. On Friday Sep 30th they called to say they don't have a truck and are delaying deliver to sometime between 6am and 8 pm on Tuesday Oct 11th. So on the 11th about 11 am with no contact I called "customer Service" to make sure the driver knows that GPS in this area is sending users to an area where they can't get to my address and to provide correct directions. At 11 am the day of delivery there was no mention of any problems and the on line delivery status says the order is being process and deliver is on time. At 2 pm I receive a call from "Customer service" saying they don't have a truck and don't know when they'll have one and I can either cancel or pick up the 2 plus pallets of materials myself. So like my contractor I'm stuck trying to get a job done despite HOME DEPOT's miserable performance with no competition and no apparent desire to service the community. I am adding an addition on to my home and getting supplies from the Aberdeen Home Depot is a nightmare. Many items are out of stock yet the Olympia area stores all have stock. I asked if the items can be sent to the Aberdeen store and was told Home Depot does not offer store transfers. Also, for me to ship basically weightless small foam metal roofing strips would cost me $79 for shipping on $9 foam strip order. I am forced to either drive to Olympia or order from companies that have fair shipping prices. I try to buy most things locally but this Home Depot makes me shop out of town far too often. I will also add that customer service personnel on the floor seem to not be well informed about what they sell. A disappointment all around for this Home Depot. read more

I shop at the Aberdeen, WA store mostly. I lost a sister and needed a new mower for my yard as company was coming from out of town. I bought a new mower, traveled over 35 miles one way to get one, and after getting it together per instructions, the oil ran out of the bottom of it right onto my floor. Short for time, and disappointed, I called and talked with an Amy and ultimately Trevon, and they offered me a nice discount for my troubles. I usually get pretty good service when I go to Home Depot. But the last visit was especially nice! Yesterday, I went to buy paint for an interior door. Patrick was working the paint counter. My husband was with me, and wearing two hats. Patrick asked him why he was wearing two. My husband provide an unintelligent answer as he has Alzheimer's. I tried to mouth that to Patrick but I wasn't successful. However, I have the words 'He has Alzheimer's, but gets upset if I say it to other people' typed into notes in my phone for these situations, so I showed it to Patrick. I had grabbed the wrong type of paint for the color I wanted, so Patrick went and brought me what I really needed, and tinted and mixed it for me. We, including my husband, had a very nice conversation while waiting for the paint. When it was finished, he congratulated my husband on the Chiefs' Super Bowl win (his hats), and thanked me for showing him the color match in my phone, to cover for me in case my husband saw me showing him something in my phone Thank you, Patrick, for your extra kindness and courtesy toward my husband and me. When I order window coverings in May and installing end of June. One of them were not fit in window. So, reorder new one by installer. It takes another 6 weeks to install they said but after 8 weeks, still no one contact us. I was wondering why Home Depot not contacting or sub contractors not calling us to finish it. Finally, when I walk into the store to told them that my order is not completed in September. Well, they were looking down on me and I felt I was not welcomed. I ordered flooring from Home Depot. I got one email telling me that my Oder would arrive at the local Home Depot on November 3. I called to get a projected arrival two days before, and I was told my order would arrive on November 3. I called Home Depot, at the close of the day to ask about my order. I was told it was delayed by 6 days. I asked the employee why I had not been notified. She asked if I would like to speak to a manager. I informed her that I would. I was switched over to a call center employee, who could not care less. She tried to blame another department for lack of notifications about my flooring. I told her it doesn't matter who gets blamed for sloppy customer service, since they all still work for Home Depot. I paid through PayPal, or I would have canceled the order (which was over $2000). I am not sure where to start. I purchased a brand new GE washer and dryer on 9/6, delivered on 9/21. Called Home Depot a month later and here we go on a rude, disappointing, overpriced ride!!!! They sent a maytag repair man (I purchased GE), this same repairman kept in touch with me and gave me more info than Home Depot and GE. Told me it would be mid-January for the part to come in. Ive been shuffled around, on hold for at least an hour each call, to be transferred to the wrong dept, that is Home Depot, GE, they just hung up on me. Communication is at a bare minimum from these companies. GE sent me a whopping 75 dollars, having promised me $50per week for laundry expenses, and go figure 'all calls are recorded' yet no-one knows anything about it or the name of employee. So here we are mid-December and received a message today 7-10 more days. No-one seems to understand that I am holding up my agreement with Home Depot credit card and paying. Literally throwing money out the window, ya know b/c we are not in a holiday pandemic. Ive been to BBB, WA AG is next. Unacceptable is as rational as I can be. I cant even return them, have you ever dealt with such piss-poor customer service?!?! Me neither. Dont bother shopping at Home Depot, spending money on a protection plan (is about as useful as my washer throwing money out yhe window), or purchasing GE, unless you enjoy being hung up on. Biggest joke was ever buying carpet and flooring through Home Depot. Not only did we pay in full cash back in October but we just now got 4 rooms carpeted. They were supposed to fix part of the flooring but did not meaning they had to come back to do the living room carpet. They told us we had to wait well into March to have that done. After my husband had to go down there about 10 times now and we get 20 different answers. They don't want to help with anything or give us a discount for the 10 problems we've had. The service in the flooring area is absolutely ridiculous. I showed up to lumber around 6:45 an hour and 15 min before closing getting two sheets of 3/4 inch ply that I needed cut at 15 1/4 and 11 1/4 strips. After finally finding someone in the garden section they called lumber to have someone come cut them. He came a few minutes later and told me that he had important stuff to lock up because it was an hour to closing and if I want things cut I need to come in an hour sooner. I recently needed some repairs done to my rental property in Aberdeen. I knew of no one to do the work so I went to Aberdeen Home Depot. Everyone there were so friendly and helpful. I was referred to their "Contractors" desk, They listened to my repair needs and from that gave me a list of local contractors to call for estimates. They also emailed the contractors my name and repair needs. I had return calls of 3 contractors in less than 24hr. I was very pleased with the referral system and the work done my those contractors. This is a great systems within a nice store. I would recommend anyone to use it. read more

There seems to be two kinds of people that work at this store, they are either dumbfounded or rude. Waiting for help we watched one employee just walk by the empty paint department and ignored us. I then called the store on my cell phone and requested assistance at the paint department, still no response after two pages over the store P.A. system. Next a pack of 3 store employees (two I believe may have been managers) start to walk right by and I yell "Hey, can one of you help us? We have been waiting and nobody has shown up" this was met with confused stares amongst the three stooges and I then said "ANYBODY?, HOW ABOUT ONE OF YOU HELP ME AND MY WIFE?" The lowest one on the food chain was obviously nudged to help us. Dysfunctional to no leadership has this store in a mess. The only reason we go here is that is the only type store around. If Lowes builds a store closer this place will end up losing most of it's customers because of their terrible customer service. I hope they can get it together. read more

I would not recommend this store if you're buying lumber the people in that department are very rude and don't like to work. I went in there to buy lumber and ask them to cut some of it which I paid for them to cut @ 25¢ a cut. The manager was having a bad attitude and went out of his way to tell the employee not to measure it so the cuts will be off. Second time I sent my girlfriend figuring maybe it was just me and they were also rude to her and had a attitude about cutting the lumber and they also gave her 2x 3 instead of 2 X 2 . So I just chalked it up to them being plain lazy and not wanting to work. Most of the other departments are very helpful and friendly. read more
