The store is well kept and has VERY friendly team members. Some of the friendliest in the business. On multiple occasions I have had someone at check out take me back through the store to find the items I couldn't. This location has been a project saver for my irrigation rebuild, ceiling fan installs, and deck project. They have a great selection of Simpson products and Hunter accessories. The online orders are seamless from the app and the store is kind and accommodating when they don't meet needs or don't perform. read more

Stopped in to this location to look for a dryer after ours decided to quit blowing heat. The little guy helping us out in the appliance section was friendly and helpful. In the store, I didn't see any that I liked, so I went on line and ordered a dryer. We were lucky enough to be present for their little home builders workshop for the kids. As we entered there were many kids there with their parents leaving with their crafts. What a cool and free event. That Saturday was bird houses to assemble and paint. Free little aprons and a pin to collect for all the completed projects. This event happens the first Saturday of each month. What great idea and so nice of them to do. I will shop at this location again and be sure to visit on the next Saturday for kids. read more

I'm very disappointed in Home Depot. We went there with every intention of buying a dishwasher. I had done my research and found several local retailers had the exact same dishwasher $60 less than Home Depot. I printed out the prices and retailers, with the understanding that Home Depot would match their competitors. When I showed the salesman the competitors lower prices, he and the manager refused to honor the lower price because "it was not an overall lower price, with installation and everything included." They refused to match the competitors appliance price even though they advertise they will price match. So, we left. It is surprising to me Home Depot would rather have a customer walk out the door (and lose thousands of dollars now and in the future) over $60. read more

This Home Depot staff has always been nothing BUT AMAZING towards me. I like to pretend I'm a fairly handy gal sometimes. While I've been a helping hand with a lot of different home renovations, when it comes down to it, painting walls and some yard work is really the only thing I'm really confident with. Everything else- I head to this store to ask for help on. Today I came in because my cute little adorable Ridgid drill stopped working. I had high hopes that I'd haul it in here and one of the manly tool guys could help me figure out what it was. Upon entering the door and stopping st the customer service counter, they informed me the tool rental counter at the end of the isle also does took repair!! It's my lucky day!! Not only did T. K./Thomas test my batteries, he also checked the charger and the drill...and sent me out the door with my drill working! All with a pleasing "no problem" smile on his face (despite having his hands in the middle of fixing someone's little handheld vacuum) and it didn't cost me a cent. He even threw in a Happy Mother's Day to boot. This has honestly been my experience with all of the staff- garden area, paint area, tool area, customer service...they really seem to either get lucky on who they hire or they train the staff for good ol' customer service awesomeness. If COVID-19 is a hoax to you propagated by 5G or whatever other nut theory you follow then this review is not for you and you can consider this a 2.5 star review. This is a typical big box store with all the typical that comes with it. If you believe in reality here is the situation. There are the signs that corporate made them put up. They ignore all of them. One employee wore a mask, that's it. Social distancing, not a thing here. Cleanliness, about normal pre-COVID dirt levels, maybe a little worse only difference now is there are spray bottles at the checkout counters that you can use to hose things off. Just grab that nasty rag and spay down whatever you want to with the spray bottle that everyone else touches...wait you just made another touch point... No contact-less payment methods. Stuff stacked up in the way everywhere forcing people together. Employee who was coughing all over everything and everyone around them and looked visibly ill, but maybe they were just hung over... So you know...about a -5 on a 0-10 scale of, "How are we doing?" This was the most disappointing execution of COVID-19 preparedness I have seen yet. read more

One star because I can't post zero stars...When a store posts on their entrance doors "Service Dogs Only" and has "No Pets" also posted, I expect the store to follow their postings. As a disabled person who relies on a Service Dog, I cannot afford to be surprised by two pet dogs on a retractable leash. When the front desk personnel are informed pets are present in the store, the assistant manager said he'd have to check with the manager. Instead of purchasing a new washing machine, I decided, based on the assistant manager's response, that I needed to purchase my major appliance elsewhere. read more

Awful company. I am 32 years old and have previously spent a lot of money at Home Depot. I recently have had a lot of issues and wanted to express my concern. Corporate office could care less so I called the store I attend most often near my house in Blaine. Tried to leave a VM for the general manager, customer service wouldn't allow me to contact him or leave a VM. I will no longer be shopping at Home Depot, but in today's world, I don't think they care if they have good customer service. A general manager should be available, not a hidden figure. Can you believe it, in and out of Home Depot with everything on our list in 14 minutes. Yeap Felt like we walked into Cheers! when we got there, at least 3 people greeted us and a fourth immediately went to work answering questions in the electrics department (need a new light switch) Then as we wandered to the paint department another employee took us practically by hand to find 'liquid wrench' - who knew that was going to be next to rotary blades...not me. 8 items on the list....all in under 14 minutes, including checkout. Purchased counters, brought in my exact measurements with pictures of the space. Total was $1,100. I felt confident that this would be the price given the specificity I was able to provide. Got a phone call a few weeks later that I owed 26% more (nearly $300) because the estimate was off by 8 sq ft. I cross referenced my dimensions with the dimensions the official measurer took - differences were no greater than 1/2 inch. They couldn't explain the error. Really frustrating. read more

Overall this place has what I need, * Basic lumber * Plumbing supplies * Lighting * Hand tools * The color orange The employees here are helpful. Many of them have a good idea of what they are about. They seem to consider helping customers part of their job description. Does that mean I don't occasionally find myself wandering like Moses through the desert. No, but I have had good luck tracking down an employee when I get lost. Returns seem to be easy overall. No receipt = store credit. So feel free to overbuy and ensure you have enough for the job. read more

For all my complaining about "specialty" appliance stores-I found myself needing two sets of a washer and dryer. So,after scanning yelp, to see whom to avoid, I just gave up for awhile. (Not wanting a Steve's appliance revisit ever again). I happened to be walking thru Home Depot, looking at the nice appliances at a really good price. Brian at Home Depot assured me that yes, they do deliver on time, hook up your purchase, and service it, if need be. I figured, why not? can't be any worse than what I have dealt with already. Not only did they deliver well within the time window, (2-6 pm) they called at the 2:30 to inform me of their estimated time of arrival. Lamar and James pulled up in the truck, unloaded, (4 major appliances) trouble-shot a few issues for me and all was running in about 1.5 hours!-polite, prepared,smart, pro-active, professional. and the extended warrant thru Home Depot was a bargain, which I hope to never have to use. i'm almost looking forward to when I need to get a new fridge- home depot all the way!!!=such a different and pleasant experience! so pleased!! read more

Extremely slow poor customer service...1 person at on line service counter, lots of staff standing around, making me wait already 15 minutes, no help in sight. Unbelievably poor customer service. I purchased and paid for 35 ceramic tiles, I only received 28 tiles and 8 of them broken. I was charged for 35. On the way back to this home depot to get this staightened out. Poor customer service follow through. I went to view new kitchen cabinet displays and found a good selection. I was surprised to find I could schedule a designer to come to my home on a Sunday. I wanted to get my kitchen remodel project started as soon as possible, so I rescheduled my other commitments for Sunday to accommodate the designer's timeframe. Well, after waiting an hour, and no designer in site, I called the store. The man who took the call said, "we don't have any control over the designers schedule" I then asked to speak with a manager, 15 minutes on hold was enough! It's amazing to think, a customer who was planning to spend thousands of dollars on a project, could be treated so poorly. read more

We have used Home Depot for many major projects-including carpeting our entire house. Was disappointed when the carpet buckled outside of our bathroom. When we had our bedroom carpet installed a couple months later--they "fixed it" by stretching it. the "fix" lasted the better part of 2 days before the familiar hump came back. Now several months later---the bedroom in the carpet buckled and they will not address it as it is "not in warrantee!" I think the store is overpriced anyway and this seals the deal that I do not need to deal with people that do not back their work. read more

Answered all of my questions and went beyond my expectations for a quick phone call. He even called me back after I hung up to follow up on some information. My experience with Home Depot home services has been very disappointing. We purchased 2 furnaces during their gift card promotion. We did not receive the gift cards as promised. It took multiple phone calls - many of which weren't returned- and several months to get the gift cards. They blamed it on email issues and the furnace installer. After that experience, I don't know what I was thinking when I purchased a complete kitchen cabinet refacing from Home Depot. Once again the salesman was knowledgeable and respectful. We ordered more expensive doors to get a good quality kitchen. We were pleased with the product and the installation for about ONE MONTH. That's when we noticed some of the laminate on the face of one of the cabinets was chipping. We immediately called Home Depot because we were told they guaranteed their product. They sent a person out to check the damage. He said they would order a replacement. Now it has been over 2 months and we have not heard from them. I have called several times but never get a return phone call. Lesson learned. If you need this type of service I would recommend that you find a reliable company. read more

I had my laminated floor installed by home depot in December 2015, I am a single working mother with one child, so we do not have a lot of traffic in our home because we are usually gone during the day. I was initially pleased with the installation of the flooring although I could feel some irregularities when walking in some areas but I did not think anything of it. I am a typical female with zero knowledge about anything hardware/construction, I did not feel the need to watch the workers when they were working because I have no clue what to watch for. Almost 2 years in, I started to notice white sand coming from one particular area, I gave it sometime because it was unusually but after a while it became embarrassing when guests come over. When I called the store, I was told that I should stop putting sand on my floor by one staff member (I believe she is now gone, Thank God). Another staff told me, I had termites. Which is also unusually, I believe that whole floor would be eaten by now and besides, I am too old to play with sand. A staff member finally came over to inspect and discovered my floor was poorly installed and the sand used to level my floor was creeping out from a space in the floor. The problem was then "rectified", a few months later, the same problem raised its ugly head again but this time in a separate spot. I dreaded calling the store again after what I went through the first time. I reluctantly went to the store but luckily was able to speak with someone who immediately arranged for a crew member to come to my home to install the floor. According to the staff, my floor was poorly installed and it was unfinished, there some parts of the floor that was not even covered. He said the problem will continue unless the error is rectified. Please tell me why I got a call saying although my floor was poorly installed, my complaint is over the one year mark and if I want the error rectified, I should pay them another $1000. I have had a lot of projects done on my house by various contractors, I do not have any issue with any of the work that has been done on my home except this one. I am still trying to wrap my head around the fact that you can admit that you did a poor job on my house, but you still want me to give another thousand dollars to do a job that is not guarantee to last me more than one year. Is this a scam or am I overreacting? The store was great in helping me pick out my floor, I still love my laminated floor, but my only issue is the installation. If you are an expert in construction and you can watch and monitor how the installation is done, this might be a cheaper option for you. But if you are woman/man with no knowledge about construction or you are not handy at all, please do not trust these people with your house. Their installation is obviously not guaranteed to last you over one year, you might ending adding them to you bill list, $1000, every one to two years. I have laminated flooring in my kitchen that was installed when the house was built in 1985, I moved into my home in 2009, I haven't had any problems with my kitchen floor. read more

I have had a very terrible time at this HD . I called during the week to order some lumber for a project and I was told that the system was down and they could not take the order. This happened the week of 4/25, I was told that Larry w would take my order so I gave him the list and he was going to call me back in 5 mins with the quote....... 3 days later I called and he had forgotten. So I had to place the order again and was told that it would be ready for me to pick up. I got to the store on Saturday to pick up my order and it was not pulled and no one was aware of it in the lumber section, finally special services got a hold of Brandon to pull the pieces together and what a waste of time that was since Brandon loaded up my cart with all the worst pieces of lumber that was laying around. I had to unload the cart and restock it with boards that were straight and did not look like a broken hockey stick! This is my second worse experience at this location . I could tell that Brandon did not want to load the cart so he threw a bunch of crap together but if you don't like your job...... You probably should not be on the forefront of service. It just goes to show that you can't find quality help and you just have to do it your self. @ the homedepot! read more

I am so disappointed with this store and customer service system they have. I ordered some windows early July and paid for delivery as well. We have been told that we will be contacted after three weeks to schedule delivery. That never happen, just Tuesday this week after 4 weeks I got a phone call to schedule for delivery. We agreed for Saturday delivery and even at that I haven't seen any delivery truck outside my house and have been sitting waiting for them. This is so unprofessional and upsetting. I don't think a customer should experience this kind pa service at all. I haven't received any phone call for any delay or anything like that. read more

I'd been to this Home Depot years ago, but just recently moved close by, making it the closest location. My first trip there after moving made clear that I shouldn't go back. I asked someone where their moving supplies were, only to be informed that they didn't have any. Yes, they do. (They're in the back). That employee suggested we go to Uhaul to save money, apparently oblivious to the huge markups there. He then followed us around offering tips on light bulbs and brooms, which were very unhelpful. When we left our cart for 3 minutes, we came back to find it gone. Another employee had spotted it and restocked everything. We seriously were gone for 3 minutes. I believe I had cartoon steam coming out of my ears. Not learning my lesson, I went back a few more times, including making online orders through them. The staff are all drilled that they must ask whether you need help every time you see them, which I find annoying, especially considering 90% of them cannot actually help you. When I made an online order for shades, I found 2 were damaged, but didn't notice at the same time, so I made 2 separate trips to return them. The first return went fine, though they couldn't reorder them online. Apparently I had to do that myself. The second trip, consequently my last trip to this location, took 20 minutes in which the cashier was absolutely confused, but apparently unwilling to ask me the situation, choosing to spend 10 minutes on the phone with an online specialist, who seemed as confused as him. Had he just engaged me, the live customer in front of him, I think we'd all have been better off. Fortunately, in Blaine, there is no shortage of home improvement stores. I'm closer to Lowe's and Menard's anyway. It does make me sad, though, since I've been a loyal Home Depot customer for 15 years. This store ruined me. read more
