Ordered and paid for a custom Thermador hurricane rated main entry double door. Home Depot was unable to deliver the door after 4 months of delay and lame excuses. They cancelled it due to their blatant incompetence. I even called the door manufacturer in Indiana. Thermador said they produce all the parts and pieces, but the local HD vendor assembles. $16k double entry door cancelled by HD, no other options given. Just too bad for you. So disgusted. I escalated the issue to Corporate, the local store Never bothered to call. Starting the process over to get this same door; the same door everyone in my neighborhood has. Nothing special! read more

This Home Depot is located on State Rte 64 E in Bradenton. As with most Home Depots it has a large parking lot with assessable spaces. It is a fairly large store with everything you would expect from Home Depot. I found the staff to be helpful and the process of getting some blinds cut down to size was quick and efficient. The reason I only giving 3 stars is because they were out of stock for almost everything I needed. That meant that I had to spend a lot more to buy a slightly different product and have it customized. Their prices I'd say are somewhat competitive but still almost double what they weee a few years ago. read more

I went to this store in 64 E in Bradenton. I had 3 different goals, return an item, print receipt for a mower that I purchased so that I could activate my service plan and print a receipt for appliances that the seller of my home purchased a few months prior. Very disappointed. First, you cannot purchase most items without scanning a barcode, and taking that barcode to the front. Then, there are no cashiers. There are only self-checkout stations, with a person "monitoring " them. Then, when we got them to get the item we wanted to purchase, they brought the wrong one. Twice. I had to go point out the correct unit in their cage to get the correct one. If this is the future of Home Depot, I'll go with other options that value customer service. read more

It's a lil long but.... It needed to be THIS IS NOT ALL HOME DEPOT just State RTE 64 E!!!!!!! I am NOT one to leave a review unless it is positive and by NO means is this a positive review... I am sick to my stomach for all the ADA people (showing/not showing disabilities) in the State Road 64 area. I visited this store on Sunday, 2 hours before closing. I took my time looking around trying to set my newly (still in process) renovated house up in HubSpace stuff (solely The Home Depot). I filled my cart with a lot of electrical (HubSpace) and that while in electrical aisle I was approached by Don an assistant manager whom was very eager to help me find HubSpace fire alarms for my house. They are not available. After completing my shopping throughout the store I walked up to the first register, it was full service not good for me. I have terrible OCD and like to bag my own product in a special order so onto self service I went which is good for me, my own pace and bag the way I like. As I walked up to a register it didn't take a second to be surrounded by three employees two males and one female named Andrea yelling at me at the self check out we can check you out. I kindly said no thank you. She stood back behind me said with a sly remark to the two males "Eyes on deck!" (In front of me.) I didn't think anything of it at first but I was the only one in self check out when she said that. Another customer just had left. So I started scanning my stuff on the bottom and started in the carriage. Stated taking my stuff out one by one the way I like it slowly and placing things properly in bags. All of a sudden in front of paint desk I hear a female voice to the two males standing behind me "make sure your keeping a close eye on your first phones." I look up and it's Andrea laughing. I found NO JOKE in that at all!!!!! I felt like humiliated like I was a thief at that moment. I said something to her that I did not find her remark funny and that I will take my business elsewhere. She said "bye we don't need you're business" and waved her hand. That's was it I STOPPED my transaction, went up to her and asked her who was she anyway. She was Andrea-the front end supervisor!! Are you serious Home Depot that you employ someone so rude and humiliating to a handicapped person? Also please explain who is she to ASSUME I am going to steal or that I am a thief? Why wave me off my business little or big not good enough? I am a retired law enforcement officer a little respect for just being a person would be appreciated but for someone who served and just don't know what to say right now! I'm hurt!!!! I have a sour taste in my mouth right now. I can not wait until 8am, Monday morning to call The Home Depot Line! I am so angry right now I just wanted to vent and let people be aware that Route 64 is NOT friendly to people with disabilities because I clearly carry a black cane! We have been to this Home Depot more than a dozen times for various things in most areas. It is one of the better ones. I don't get the low rating. I feel bad others felt they didn't get good service because we've had great service. We have bought tons of little doo-dads from plumbing, electrical, bought a lighting fixture, outdoor carpeting, plants and soil from gardening and a mower, blower, and other cutting devices! We have had good to excellent service in each department from people who know their department well. They even have representatives from some of the major brands like Ryobi and John Deere there at times to answer questions. They have been low on some inventory during the pandemic and we've had times when we had to walk to find someone to help...but, luckily, I've had many more times when we found exactly what we wanted and had someone really nice help. Today, was John in the Garden Center who helped us find a regular not fancy soil to fill a hole where we removed a bush. I'm sure we will be back and I do recommend this Home Depot. They do have decent covid protocols in effect and most workers have worn masks. They have masks for those who need one, wipes and hand sanitizer available at the front doors. read more

We like this Depot! Service actually exists and is good, the exact opposite of the one near us back in NY. Customer service for returns, location of items in the store, and curbside pickup - our preferred method as we can order ahead and get delivery to our car - have all been great. It's bright and clean and even the garden center is well organized and well maintained. If only we can get the customers to wear a freaking mask! read more

This did not end well! Final installation was not completed until March. Carpet installation left a very obvious and clearly visible seam down the center of the living room... carpet has begin to fray and unravel from normal vacuum cleaning. Home Depot refunded us $1000 which will not come close to replacement cost. I will never do a carpet install through this Home Depot again!! read more

I have had awesome support by the folks at the St Rd 64 Home Depot. I shop there at least 3-4 times a week. Sure, you may run across a grumpy worker but that is out of the norm. Perhaps if the grumpy customers go back up north, the store will thin out to the locals who live here year round and it will be even better! read more

Store is fine but ... don't have appliances installed by HomeDepot! cheap cost equals cheap labor that has more quid pro quo's attached to not work. We ordered a dishwasher and installation but when they came to install the guys said since the original dishwasher was installed with a copper line, which almost all are, they couldn't touch it and they would need to send a plumber to change the valve, at their cost but this is the first time I have ever heard of such a crazy reason to not work in my 30 years of home ownership. Now we have to wait for their plumber then once that is done see when they can come back to install the dishwasher. Again cheap cost to you means more hassle with reasons to not complete a job you paid upfront for. We'll never buy appliances at HomeDepot again! read more

My roommate and I (two females in our 20's) went to this Home Depot 45 minutes before closing time as we realized my bed was missing the wooden supports for the slats. They were unable to cut pieces smaller than a foot but told us we could handsaw our own. NANDO is a star employee as he was sweating bullets cutting the wood for us. He was incredibly helpful and kind and went out of his way to help us, even at the very end of his shift. This man needs a RAISE. I can't imagine too many people would have done that for us. Also, LOGAN at the checkout was super sweet and his customer service skills were through the roof. We will 100% be returning to this Home Depot for our future needs and projects. Home Depot is my go to home improvement store. Carpet and flooring is not the place to buy your carpet. Had three areas and two different carpets, nothing complex. Took a month 10 phone calls to there installer to schedule an appointment. Said they would call the day before, never happened. Had to get the store involved and they also had to leave messages. Finally they show up with with one carpet and asked about the other which they had no clue. Showed them my order which showed both. Called the strand their records showed one. They wanted to leave without installing the carpet they had. Finally got them to put it in after a call to the store. Now the installer walked into my house tracking dog shit on his shoes. Just bad service all around from the installer. read more

This review is truly not for this specific store but for Home Depot as a whole. I called tonight to determine if Home Depot had a Veterans Discount, if so, how do I sign up for such service. I was informed that Lowe's has a sign up but Home Depot does not. They honor a Veterans status but...You can't use it online you must shop in store. Crazy to me since I need about 60 bags worth of soil. Not picking up 60 bags or soil by myself (I'm not a young Vet) getting it to the counter to have to take to my vehicle. Home Depot needs a better system to honor all Veterans, young and us old timers. They just lost a customer. I do more online ordering now a days. read more

Do not buy a Christmas tree here . The quality is horrible, they discolor and Home Depot or Willis electronics the manufacturer will not stand behind them. I have sent e mails with documents and photos and get no response. Willis electronics is also in a lawsuit for pedal switch burn issues and Home Depot is recalling many trees sold. read more

I'm done with this location. Nice new building, but the service is simply bad. Too many employees don't know a thing about tools or products being sold. A guy name Tom tried to tell me that I should go for WEN drill press because they are made in Germany. Total nonsense. WEN was NEVER made In Germany, they are headquartered in Illinois and get ALL their products from China. I pulled it up on the phone and he just walks off, didn't want to hear it. Same issues at the SELF checkout. In these times I'm glad that I can do this alone without a cashier getting into my face, touch my items and spreading the virus. Not so much in this location: they always force their "help" on customers, even when they say right away "I'm good!". Today the lady walk right in-front of me, just 1 foot away, scanned an item that I brought from home for reference. Why can't you let your customers do their own check out at the SELF checkout?! If anybody needs help, they will look around or ask! I went to Loews right after and guess what? I found my item that was only offered in a much bigger and more expensive set at Home Depot for 1/5th of the price, and I was able to check that item out without any cashier getting into my face. I also didn't have to deal with an employee lying to me about a product. More things happened over the years, so yeah, I'm done with this Home Depot and I don't feel like going to any other HD either. I have been waiting for almost a year and a half for flooring completion.. Installation company took all the transitions with them. They had to be reordered. And reordered . and reordered. We get calls from Home depot that they are in.. Installation company tells us that Home depot does not have them... This has been going on so long... Confirmed and missed appointments. Missing time from work to meet with installers that confirm and do not show up. I finally called and "F" bombed the home depot store out of frustration.. Never in my life have I acted this way or been this frustrated. We have a newer home, and we have to keep blue tape and flower planters down on the transitions that where put down with silicone and not the metal tracking... My 80 year old mom tripped over one that had sprung up and required stiches in her leg... This is insane! I have gotten to the point where we post all negatives on facebook, nextdoorneighboor and so on.. I have printed out pictures and actually handed them out neighbors and to others considering flooring... Ironically, I had worked for Home Depot on Cortez in Florida and few years back. In the flooring dept! I cannot beleive that this outfit treats their customers this way... We have cancelled on our home blinds thru home depot # 1863. I hope to hell this store closes... I can't begin to tell you how poor they are with handling our kitchen remodel. We bought cabinets, countertops and floor from them back in November. As of now we are still waiting on our kitchen countertop. We were told by the sales lady if we bundle the countertop and kitchen cabinets, we will not need to pay sales tax. In fact I went in to the store a couple of times and she told me the sales tax outstanding and I had to reminded her of our conversation. She then told me not to worry about it as it wasn't there and she will alert her manager to take care of it. Low and behold, we were told we owe sales tax and additional money because the measurements were off months later. Both Home Depot staff and also the countertop people came out to the house for measurement. They now used all these fancy term on why we owe an extra $1,200 for the countertop we already paid for. They don't owe up to their mistakes. Bottom line is they screwed up with their measurement and now the customer have to pay. They demanded payment and gave us til today to pay and in the meantime, they cancelled our countertop yesterday. When I mentioned if we don't get this resolved we may have to contact legal for assistant, I was hung up on today. What was supposed to be a great experience turned into a nightmare. Thanks HOME DEPOT. Who at their Corporate Office can I talk to? This is not acceptable. I do not like leaving negative reviews but they have crossed the line. How about refunding everything and come get the cabinets!!! read more

We purchased a propane fire pit from Home Depot. After a couple years it has rusted and stained my concrete patio. Hampton Bay is the Manufacturer. When I went to Home Depot about warranty they referred me to the manufacturer (which is owned by HomeDepot). They did not even try to provide contact info and for good reason. There is none. An 800 number that we cannot get thru on and no email address. What are they trying to avoid I wonder. Very dissatisfied and will use Lowes from now on. read more

DO NOT ORDER APPLIANCES!!! I am sure this is Home Depot wide, but since I can't make a review for the whole organization I will just use the store. They do not care if your appliance delivery goes well and only offer a small discount as compensation. Long story short, took me over a month and three tries to get a dishwasher installed. The washer was installed incorrectly to wrong water temperatures. They charge $135 per appliance for installation, and I was not reimbursed that amount despite 3 wasted work days waiting for installers. I will never order appliances from them again! read more
