No complaints! We needed some pool supplies for our pool and knew they had what we needed by checking online first. We found a store employee who directed us where to go and then helped us pick out the right dehumidifier for our needs. They also have a pretty decent plant selection for and I left with a new plant too. Overall, good experience. We were in and out quickly and the employees were friendly and helpful in finding what we needed. read more

Went to Home Depot on Ohio Pike Cherry Grove to get Lawn and Garden center to get stuff for my yard. The Garden gates were suppose to be open at 8am got there at 8:20 the were not open so i had to walk to the main entrance get a cart get what I needed. I thought by the time I got what I needed at 9am the gate was still not open. So I had to push the heavy cart through the store. As I past the service desk I asked the lady there why the gates of the garden place was not open. She said they were short on help. I said that it was Spring time and it was crowded out there and asked her why there was so many workers standing around doing nothing. She said they didn't work in the garden center. I laughed then went to the main check outs at the other end of the store Nothing was open but the self checkouts and I waited in line with all of the rest of customers from the garden shop that had to do the samething. Now I said self checkouts tell me how do you checkout wall retainers and and boulder rocks will no scan stickers on them. So I asked the young girl trying to take care of 6 registered to look them up she had no idea what they were and how to find them. I had to explain to her what they were and point on the screen at what I had. That's why I told her they needed the garden open. Home Depot get worse week by week and the biggest part of the workers there could careless and customer service went out the window. Going to have to start going the extra mile and start shopping at Lowe's. But you know the big problemis Home Depot could careless. They will just put more ads on TV tell everybody how good it is there. read more

Our water heater went out and we decided to check with The Home Depot to see what there pricing was. We provided our information and were told that Crew2, the company who handles water heater installations would be in touch shortly. They contacted us right away and provided pricing immediately. The operator said they would call us back in an hour to see if we would move forward with their company. They didn't call back that day and we didn't hear from them for about a week. Home Depot is my go-to hardware store because it's close by and easy to get to. I appreciate the ability to look up items online and find the exact aisle and bin they are in... except when the system spits out codes like EC (for End Cap) and some other archaic acronyms I haven't figured out. Points for trying to be accessible, but some lost for not taking it quite all the way to usability. HD usually has what I need (and they're close to Lowe's if they don't), and the people I've interacted with are typically pretty pleasant. The paint counter staff and a gentleman who helped us score a deal on a floor model grill come to mind. Home Depot actually had one of the strictest store policies I'd encountered early in 2020 -- counting the number of customers entering the store and enforcing masks at the door -- but sadly it has slipped as the months have gone on. Most people at least keep the mask on their face, but I saw so many noses and mouths the last time I went. I get that the store is huge and employees can't enforce a mask policy everywhere but I don't know what it is about hardware stores that seems to attract this behavior in particular. read more

I just had old carpet removed and new LVP installed. The service with Home depot was terrible. The flooring staff was hard to talk to bc they were waiting on someone else. Went back twice, staff still with other customer. Called the store, got VM, No call back. I am writing this review regarding the contractors that laid the floor, they were from CSI. The contractors did an excellent job, they were very conscientious and hard working. if I could give no stars I would. I ordered a washing machine on their website. It was supposed to be delivered on Thursday but they had the wrong address/coordinates. I talked to a Home Depot person and they supposedly put in our coordinates into the computer...well the washer was supposed to be delivered Saturday and they still had the wrong coordinates....so now I'm supposed to wait till Tuesday? Selection for the items we were looking for was sufficient. The only place it was not was the garden center. Not sure if this was due to it being towards the end of the season, or if the lack of variety is usual. This location has tool rental at the front. Monthly kid's workshop available. Workshop is free. Children are given a kit to build. Holes in the wood are predrilled. For younger children, this makes the kits an easy project, with parent/ adult assistance. Check store or homedepot.com for dates and times. Customer service has been fine. Not praiseworthy, yet nothing to complain about. Given the ratings, I was expecting much worse. read more

They drive a huge box truck through a tiny street where driveways are connected to the street by bridges. We have been waiting for a month to have a storm door installed. Just this past week we were finally able to get the door measured. We already knew the measurements but were told it had to be measured by them for installation. We should have been told when we set this up that storm door installation would be a long drawn out process. I'm afraid at this point we are unable to get our money back. read more

I ordered a workbench and went to pick it up. There was a fellow being helped in front of me at the pickup counter so I gladly wait. In comes another fellow who waits for a short time behind me but then goes to the return counter where he gets waited on with his pickup item. Finding good service here is next to impossible, but they have all the stuff you might need. A notable exception is Doug in paint. He is knowledgeable and took the time to actually walk us through things. This store is very close to my and most of the times the pricing is lower than Lowes. Saved $50.00 dollars on one ladder purchase alone. It is a mixed bag as far as service goes. Sometimes they are very good and fast other times getting help is like finding water in the desert. One thing I truly hate is while shopping in the tool department for particular bits this stupid camera beeps and beeps. Really? If you are so worried about theft, maybe adding a clerk that actually helps people will keep your theft problem in check and offer GREAT customer service every time. Horrible horrible horrible delivery service - they dropped our dryer so hard that it broke, then attempted to mark it as defective. When they dropped it it damaged the wood floors and walls. We had to schedule a new delivery. When the next delivery showed up they drove into the lawn and destroyed it. They came to the door and attempted to completely ignore their damage to our yard. Purchased a new electric dryer from this store. I was sold on paying for delivery and installation to make sure it's done properly and told of I didn't pay for the installation they couldn't cover any issues we may have with the dryer. I paid for the installation. After a few weeks the dryer because smoking from the back of it, a burning smell filled my house and my breaker tripped. The dryer would not cut back on. I called Home Depot since this is a brand new dryer and was told to call the manufacturer. The manufacturer sent a service person (LG) who stated that the dryer was improperly installed a few ways. One the screws for the dryer cord were not tightened and the wires were in the wrong place on the cord. The back of the dryer has a diagram clearly showing where the wires go. It's so clear a preschooler could match it up. The LG rep stated they can start replacing for parts but with it being an electric dryer and the wires being burnt they can't guarantee how long it will last. Now since I invested in a new dryer and this issue is due to an installation that I paid Home Depot for I've been contacting them for a replacement. They continue to give me the runaround. State it's a manufacturer issue and the manufacturer should replace the dryer. While the manufacturer states this is due to Home Depot's installer and they should be trying to rectify this issue. This has been going on for 2 1/2 weeks. read more

Management offered only a small refund for a defective rental, placing blame on me instead. In the the end, dealing with the management was more of hassle than the problem tool. May 17, 2017 I returned a drum sander and an edger to Home Depot on Beechmont Rd. The drum sander worked great. However, the edger had been a huge problem. Mainly, a hole in the dust bag sent every finely-sanded particle shooting through the air. I stated my case to management and was offered very little off the rental. The edger was missing the tool to put on the sanding pads, light bulb was burnt out, the male end of the cord was damaged and not grounded (would not stay in outlet unless propped in place fix this), the dust bag had holes, and the zipper almost impossible to close up and leaked. Before renting the tool I asked to open up the case and the clerk said "don't worry we always test them when they come back." I said I was glad because it would be a 2 hours drive to return and get a new sander if there was a problem. I don't know how the sander passed an inspection but I know those guys work hard and I don't hold it against them. However, the store manager immediately shifted blame. He felt that I should have called right away to let his employees know the problem. But, as I explained, I did call the same day I rented it. Infact I made a complaint about the first item I noticed and I was told that the issue would "be noted to my account". How helpful right? 3 days later I actually was ready to use the edger and I got the job partly done despite the problems, and true I did not call on the additional problems Every single square inch of the place is covered in dust. I decided to finish the edges by hand rather than use the sander again. I returned both items after having had them for 5 days. I barely used the sander and had to touch up the edges with a dremel on the edges where it missed. I'm the owner of Onestop Home Improvement and I'm really surprised how this was handled. read more

The check out lady in the garden center was like, "There's no price on it." "I got it from that display," I replied. "How much is it?" "I don't know." "Then I can't ring it up." Very poor customer service. Poor follow up. We ordered a front door with sidelights eleven weeks ago. We had to pay for the door in full at the time of the order. We were told the door would arrive in about three weeks. We are STILL waiting. I have spoken with various employees in the Millworks Department and also with the Olivia, who identifies herself as the store manager but according to their corporate office, is not. Ordered an off the shelf item they said hey had many of and waited all day for a confirmation it was ready. Confirmation received two days later. Went to the store and called for curbside pickup as instructed in the confirmation. Waited on hold for 15 minutes then the system auto re-called with phone ringing for 10 minutes. It is 2020. I have been back and forth with Home Depot and Lowes and Home Depot provided a major FAIL today. First off I do not care about the personal problems of the guy that lifts down my windows, second after walking back and forth in the front of the store looking for a cart to put the windows in I was told "they may be somewhere over there" as the sales person pointed. Then to top off this great visit I ask for help loading the large windows I just bought and was told help was on the way and to just wait outside the door. Well twenty minutes later I got tired of waiting loaded them myself and left for what will be the last time in a long time. I would give zero stars to the way Home Depot handles delivery of dishwashers.. I ordered a dishwasher online which was delivered today. They said they could not install because I have copper water line. No where in the deepest details they provide does this state that this is an issue. I must now wait up to 1 week for a plumber to call and schedule the install. Just two weeks before Christmas I have a broken dishwasher and an uninstalled dishwasher in my kitchen. AND I get to pay $129.00 for the privileges. Corporate took half an hour making excuses and told me to call the local store for compensation. Local store manager (Cold Spring KY) spent another 1/2 hour saying it was an online problem and refuses to refund delivery charge. Must now take a second day off of work to deal with this. Very disappointed. Will never shop Home Depot again. read more

NIGHTMARE EXPERIENCE!! DO NOT order kitchen cabinets from here. My fiancé and I are in the middle of an ongoing unresolved issue with Home Depot. Mid October we placed an almost $15,000 order for new cabinets and countertops. Prior to the order we sat down multiple times with one of their kitchen design specialists to provide measurements, go over layout drawings and build a timeline. We wanted to ensure no mistakes were made, as we were on a timeline to get the kitchen completed because we had interested buyers scheduled to come through the house. On November 10th the cabinets arrived. Upon installation we found that the wrong finish was ordered on all the doors and moulding. And two of the cabinets were ordered in the wrong size. My fiancé immediately called Home Depot and was passed around to multiple people before being promised that he'd get a return call with the resolution to the issue. We waited, no return call. After multiple followup attempts both on the phone and in person, Home Depot agreed to reorder the correct doors and cabinets. They agreed to waive the restocking fee...which would have been ridiculous to charge us since it was their mistake. They also agreed to have an installer come out free of charge to change out the door fronts and install the two cabinets they reordered. Cabinets have a 4 week lead time. This mistake was blowing our timeline out of the water. One of our interested buyers had to move on to other options because they couldn't wait another month. None the less, we agreed to the proposed solution because it seemed to be our only option at this point. On December 13th Home Depot delivered the reordered items. On December 15th their installer came out to switch out doors and install remaining cabinets. Installer discovered that Home Depot did not order the correct style drawers...AGAIN. This time they got the finish right, but ordered the wrong style. Up to this point we agreed my fiancé would handle Home Depot, as he is even tempered and not easily rattled. Well, I was furious. I decided I was going to call and let them have it. Before I could even get through to the correct person to unleash my fury, they accidentally hung up on me...if I had had a chance to really lay into them I'd guess the hang-up was intentional. However, they were still in the middle of their "transfer the customer to 8 different people" routine. I didn't call back. I took it as a sign to continue to let my fiancé handle the communications. On December 16th, my fiancé was able to discuss the matter with someone "higher up in the food chain". We provided him with documentation of the situation, pictures of the current (wrong) drawers, and confirmed that the installer had provided them an account of the issue as well. We were promised via email that they would place an expedited order for the correct drawers and that Home Depot would handle the remainder of the installation including crown moulding and toe kick. On December 21st, we touched base to ensure the order was on it's way. Home Depot assured us the order had been placed and was being expedited. January 8th, we get a call from the Home Depot kitchen design specialist asking us to pay a $70 balance. I almost fell over laughing. For what?! And where in the heck is the rest of our "expedited" order??? It's January 19th. We are now in touch with corporate. One person from corporate told us that they would make this right and compensate us. And then in a later conversation with someone else from corporate we were told that they'd only switch out the drawers. We'd need to take care of the remainder of the install. OH! And the real kicker...we learned they never placed the second reorder! So here we are. Over two months on endless phone calls and visits. Our kitchen still isn't complete. We've lost multiple interested buyers. I am beyond disbelief and highly disappointed about this entire experience. It has been maddening. If you are considering using them for a kitchen project, I would urge you to go elsewhere. The experience has been so horrible that I'm making it my mission to warn anyone and everyone I can. And if for some unlikely reason they redeem themselves, I will update this post. read more
