He tracked two down from Plymouth store and had them delivered to Provincetown. If there was zero stars I opt that one ! HD Wareham has about 4 employees that are outstanding truly ! I seek them out if I have to go there . If they are not working at that time then I leave and go to Lowe's So that's a big Hoorah to those four employees. One of them is at the Pro Desk She assured me and walked with me to show me the product I was interested in. (Asian gal ) seek her out she is Outstanding. The next is at the customer service returns window. Very very helpful. Even took my name and number to have the correct person call me when they get in. And the third person was the flooring dept. He was thorough in explaining every detail I needed to install vinyl flooring. Seek him out for answers ! (Young dude). Very very helpful Lastly the appliance gal(Paula?) she was beyond thorough. Told me to inspect before signing on delivery and why. As well as helping me with appliance Choice. Seek her out if you need appliances. She's fabulous ! So why the One Star? Well it isn't about the above mentioned folks. I'll tell ya that ! The one star is for the Financing Dept. (which isn't in the store , but there's no option for this on yelp ) Anyway. I just bought a fixer and needed flooring / appliances / and general assistance with tools / wood/ nails etc. so I applied to the HD CC and was initially offered 6 mos 0%. Right after applying I received some text offers for 24 mos 0%. So I called the finance dept. so I called the 800 number. On the phone for about 20 minutes while HD Finance dept made changes. Before I hung up I said "let's review. I have 24mos 0% interest so long as min pymt was timely . Correct ?" He replied "yes that's correct ". I said thank you because I was about to drop 4 grand on supplies and I did ! I get my first bill and the only thing that was 24 mos 0% was the appliances. Everything else was 6 mos. 0% and due in 6 mos. What ?!?! I called and was told only the appliances were 24. I recalled and replayed the entire convo with finance dep. in the end I lost that battle ! So I paid the entire thing off What's the big deal then ? 1) I was LIED to. Out right LIED to 2) with 0% for 24mos it's like a loan to yourself 3) I confirmed the 24mos 0% for purchases I'm about to make (up to the 4K I was allowed ). Nope ! They lied ! Do not trust the Hime Depot Finance Dept at all ever ! Oh just a few additional comments. One thing I needed was new windows and a gal at flooring was kind to make me an appt for windows and scheduled it. Ya ! They never showed ! Then I get the follow up phone call weeks later asking about how my appt went Serious ? Another odd experience with them. We ordered a new microwave and paid for installation. They weren't in the door five minutes before one man started telling me he couldn't install it because it was bigger than the old one. The next day it took my husband and son less than half and hour to do it. It hung on the old hanger. Screwed onto the old holes. Bet they were done early that day. We did save $140. It reminds me, we are DIYers not because we like it, but because of the quality of hired help. read more

My Dad and Mom are both 78 years old. Imagine my surprise when I find out my mother bought my Elderly father an angle grinder with no batteries. The tool guy suggested it to her,Why? They go back to the store to return it . Of course they can't find the receipt so the lady says he will get store credit. They take his licence then hand him a paper and tell him he cannot return the item. He is told he has returned to many things; He told the woman he has never returned anything to Home Depot she tells him someone must be using his Licence. When I see him he tell asks me if I can find out what is going on because someone is using his I.D I check online for him with Home Depots Reporting Agency the Retail Equation.Two days later after completing all the requirements I find out he has never returned anything to Home Depot. This store obviously does not care at all about customer safety. I went to pick up an online order. At the customer service desk inside the store, three employees were working. One had no mask on. The second had a mask dangling from one ear, face uncovered as she talked on the phone, then held a long conversation with a customer. The third had a mask on when she first spoke to me, then left and returned with no mask, continuing to talk to me. In the parking lot, a young employee offered to help me load my heavy purchase into my car. He did not bother to pull his mask over his face, nor did he attempt to stay six feet away from me. The Home Depot on Cranberry Highway in Wareham, Massachusetts has no regard for the current situation regarding the Covid virus and preventing the spread of it. 1. The store had not one carriage in it's entry ways the entire time we were there and the customer service desk informed us that it was the customer's responsibility to go out into the parking lot, collect a a carriage and clean it themselves. 2. The cleaning supplies were left at the entrance with no paper towels for the customers to wipe down dirty carts they collected themselves and worse, 2 children were playing with the unattended spray bottles with unnamed chemicals in them (because they were not kept out of reach of children). 3. When I asked for a manager it took more than thirty minutes for one to appear (and she was in fact, not a manger), who said they were too busy to attend to the carts and they didn't have enough staff. This was as we stood in front of three employees at customer service doing nothing but standing around watching us express our concerns. 4. After we checked out (45 minutes later), there were still not carts for customers, which really sends the message, "we don't care about the health and safety of our customers". I contacted the general manager of the store, Mr. Lowe, who supported the fact that they did not have enough staff to go out into the parking lots to assure their customers were handling clean carts. Home Depot on Cranberry Highway should target it's new slogan; "How Doers Get More Done" to it's employees rather than to it's customers because they have obviously spent more time making excuses as to why they cannot follow health guidelines, for the benefit of all, rather than just get out there and collect the carts and wipe them down. Ordered a new washer and dryer that was stacked on display. The sales department failed to mention the stacking kit going through the purchase process. Once they were delivered, the delivery crew couldn't install them in my laundry room due to the lack of parts. That being the case I dealt with pretty poor customer service from wareham who then directed me to Plymouth Home Depot which gave me an even worse experience over the phone. I then called lowes and they were extremely understanding. Set one off to the side with no problem, picked it up that day and installed them myself. Needless to say I'm pretty disappointed in Home Depot's lack of effort to help over a $20 kit that's a necessity to stack $1400 worth of equipment. read more

I live on the Cape and prefer to drive to this store located just over the bridge. It is a large store and well stocked. Never terribly over busy and someone is always around to help if they can. I avoid the Hyannis location as much as I can. It's much more crowded and under expansion construction at the moment so chaotic. Wareham Home Depot is fantastic! read more

Skylynne was so very helpful and went through the batteries with us, looking it up on her own phone to try and find a match. She referred us to a couple other stores like Petco and tractor supply. Most times Home Depot is fine. No real issues but every so often we buy something or want to buy something just to discover they do not sell the parts which one may need. Case in point a light but they do not sell the bulbs or a chainsaw but they do not sell the replacement chain. Very mind boggling. read more

My partner and I went to home depot to find a connector piece for our kitchen sink. We could not find an employee to help us anywhere, as neither of us are plumbers. We went to the paint desk, and the employee sent us to the plumbing aisle saying someone would be over there. There was no one there, so we waited around and looked in the next few aisles and didn't see anyone. We then went to the returns desk, and the employee there was speaking on the phone and didn't even look up to acknowledge us for a solid 10 minutes. We tried the man at the flooring desk, who was the most helpful of the group. He called his manager who texted the one employee with any plumbing knowledge. We were told to wait and hopefully the plumbing employee would see our text soon and he left us with a shrug of his shoulders and said "that's all I can do." The plumbing employee nor the manager came, so we left. What a waste of an hour. You would think they would at least have walkie talkies or have an idea of where their staff are. After reading other reviews of this location, I am not surprised at the lack of help we received. read more

It's like dealing with incompetent monkeys. I stopped using Home Depot years ago due to their crappy service and sloppy services, it seems nothing has changed. The difference between this and Lowes is night and day. I ordered a set of French Doors and they showed up in a contractors delivery truck with no help to carry it, the box was wide open and the doors swinging around so I had to refuse the delivery, just couldn't take the chance of it being damaged after they left. Then call the store and get the run around about getting it delivered again. Stay far far away from these morons, not sure how you can continue to run a business like t his. read more

I have never been so offended in my life! I left work early today to get to home depot on time before the tool rental area closed. The gentleman in that department was great, by the way and the only reason for any stars at all. My husband and I did a little shopping afterwards and when he presented his Veterans card for a 10% discount, he was told they dont accept it and his card was invalid. I'm not even sure where to start with this, since it's not about the $2 discount, but rather the 'customer service representatives' attitude and absolute dismissiveness about my husband's service. I assure you the card is is 'valid'. And because he has a brain injury, he actually went to the service desk to make sure they take his Vetrans card. Which they do, but, I was already in the car as I will never buy another item there again. Why did I have to take time off? Because he doesn't drive. At the end of the day, even if Home Depot did not accept that 'type' of Veterans card, whatever that means, at the very least you'd think the rep would at least be kind about about it, because at the end of the day, he did serve your country and provide you freedom. read more

Complete incompetent employees! DON'T order carpet/ flooring from this company. Complete wrong ,every step of the way. Went into the store to pick out carpet and flooring, employee was unsure how to put it into the computer. Made an appt for measurements. Was called that morning and told the time was between 12-2, no show. Called and was on the line for 20 minutes waiting to find out if employees was still coming. They told of me I didn't have an apt. After arguing that I was called that morning, they finally tracked him down. Employee showed up at 3 and took an hour to measure! Received a call to set up installation. Called back and was told they didn't have an order for me! After arguing AGAIN for a few minutes, they found my order. Installation day, showed up with wrong carpet and had WRONG measurements! I was told I had to make another appointment for measurements. I had to cancel the whole order and start over with another company. Home Depot set the renovations in my house back by 3 weeks. I ordered a 6 burner gas grill online this morning around 7am to be assembled and pick up at the Wareham location. Around 12pm I received an email my order was assembled ready for a pickup. At 2:15pm I received a phone call telling me my order was not available for pickup and the best their can do for me is getting it deliver on Thursday.. wtf is that? How am I suppose to cook for my guess? Now I'm back to square one trying to find a grill at a great price.. I would of been more bullshit if I had driven in this cape cod traffic to go pick it up.. Wow, what a terrible experience. My husband and I went there to buy a grill and outdoor furniture, it took an hour to enter those 2 things into the computer. The woman helping us was very nice, and so were some other people, but their system is so antiquated or not user friendly. We opened a Home Depot card to get 0% interest for a year and save $100. We just got the bill and it says 0% for 6 months NOT a year. We wanted our items to be delivered and grill assembled. It came unassembled. They also combined 2 of our addresses, not sure how they did that as the woman entering our info repeated everything back to us. They did deliver the grill the next day assembled, however It didn't ignite and my husband after some time trying to figure it out discovered the battery was in backwards and ignitor was not hooked up properly. SPEND MORE MONEY AND GO TO YOUR LOCAL STORE. WISH WE DID! read more

Don't order an appliance thru them. Scheduled delivery, received 4 hour window. They were a no call, no show. Took the entire day off waiting. Rescheduled and they gave me another 4 hour window with the understanding that I could not be there before that time. They showed up an hour early and we could not take delivery. The delivery company they use, GE, is the worst customer service I have ever seen. They put you on hold and never get back on the line. No compensation for their errors and no apologies. Go to your local appliance center. Better service!!! read more

I ordered a sliding door from the Home Depot in Wareham,MA. I wanted to have it installed by summer. I ordered the door on March 24th and was told it would take 2 weeks, after week 3, I phoned and stopped in to check, finally arrived at the store at 3 1/2 weeks. I then had to keep on them to get the installer to call me to schedule an install date! What a pain, so much time and aggravation on my part.! SO.....finally we get an install date scheduled and when the installer ( Jason) brought it to our house and took it out of the carton in was damaged!! Ok... I understand things happen, but the store never offered to do a rush order or try to make amends for this. I did go back to the store to speak with the store manager a couple of days later. Just got an apology from him, that's all. I miss the old days when companies cared and tried to make a wrong a right! I'm not going to stop going there, but I will NEVER order a door again or recommend that anyone else does. :( read more

My husband and I went to the Wareham Home Depot tonight looking for a humidity monitor. I found the monitor online and the site said it was in stock. When we arrived, we asked 3 different employees where the monitor was located and no one was able to help us. The first two employees told us that they had never heard of a humidity monitor. I pulled it up on my phone and they each said they didn't know where it was. I was able to determine the aisle number with the help of my phone so we headed to aisle 46. The 3rd employee then told us we were in the wrong place, despite the big "46" sign. We told her what we were looking for and she showed us where the WiFi and cable area was. That's when I looked at the map (again on my phone) and we found the monitor in the garden section. We've used this Home Depot's paint section frequently and have never had an issue but tonight was absolutely ridiculous. Very disappointing. read more

Returned an item and got a $.01 credit and was not told that if they stop carrying an item, that is all they give you. I was 'supposed to be told' but wasn't. Ordered two very expensive Anderson A Series sliding doors in August 2015. Order was supposed to take 6 weeks. They finally came almost 3 months later to do the install and it turns out someone at the store had ordered the doors in an incorrect size and they were useless. The doors were re-ordered and finally available for install in January 2016. The installer was messy, it was a frigid day and by March 2016 nearly all of the caulking fell out around the door. I called the installer directly and he was unwilling to schedule a return to fix the work even though it's guaranteed for 1 year. I have now called the East Wareham store on 3 different occasion and they promise each time to send someone right out but it never happens. So here we are; almost a year after I initially ordered the doors and I'm looking at a botched install job that Home Depot is not willing or able to fix. I went in to this project knowing the pros and cons of working with a "big box" store but must say that I'm shocked at this outcome. If you are considering working with Home Depot on any kind of major project, BE CAREFUL. read more
