Called Home Depot to see if they had a spark plug for Ariens snowblower I bought there 5 years ago. The person I talked to in L&G obviously had no clue. He acted like he was looking up something and then just said he didn't have it. I asked about equivalent and that threw him for a loop. Said immediately he didn't have it. Had a similar experience looking at refrigerators in the summer. The customer service people knew nothing about the refrigerators and all the floor displays were filthy with some that had doors that squeaked when opened. I went to Lowes. My dishwasher was delivered and the guys just left they took packing with them but the directions say to use that to help put on wheels! I asked guys about wheels and they said there weren't any. They immediately left and the wheels were inside. I will never order from home depot again because I have no way to keep the wheels from falling off and when I called the store they said I'd have to pay 200 dollars for installation for the wheels! Don't go here if you worry about COVID 19! Customers NOT social distancing/wearing face masks, or improperly wearing face coverings (nose hanging out). Old man phlegmy coughed near me bare faced. HOME DEPOT NOT TELLING PEOPLE LIKE THIS TO COVER UP OR LEAVE. Associates are lazy with bad attitudes overall. If you can get in and out without ever involving an employee, I'd give it a five star! However when the home depot's app is wrong about item location get ready for the customer shuffle. I counted 5 employees I was shuffled to for ONE item. An item that has so many in stock you wonder how in the world did they lose ALL OF THEM. I don't expect much, but I do expect them to know where to find merchandise in The store they spend 8-10 hours "working". read more

This Home Depot is garbage. The employees are super rude, disrespectful, and offer a military discount but all the employees hate you if you try to use it and will deny you use of it and say we don't except that form of military ID. Have had to call corporate three times on this store due to employees attitudes and there managers are the same way and don't care how their employees treat the customers or the fact that because of an employee the store lost out on 1600 dollar purchase that i took down to Lowe's a block away. I was here roughly a month ago buying supplies for a duplex renovation. I usually go to 'that other home improvement store' located near the airport but I was given some Home Depot gift cards and wanted to use them. One thing I like about Home Depot is I can cut wood and pay for it by the linear foot. This is much appreciated. In general, they have a decent stock, overall, when it comes to everything in the store. What sucked is the employees. I had a question about light bulbs and one worker told me he'd go get the lighting specialist and I stood there waiting for ten minutes. Frustrated, I decided I'd buy the bulbs elsewhere and continued on my shopping. The ONLY employee at this Home Depot who asked me if I needed any assistance was a gentleman named Rich. He was very helpful and I wish the other associates at this store were as helpful as he. There were some other associates who helped me when I needed assistance (they had to get the lift to grab a pedestal and a sink off a shelf many feet up) but they weren't super impressive, friendly-wise. As mentioned, based on my list, this Home Depot had a decent amount of items in stock. I would give them a 3.5 out of 5 but rounded down due to the lack of help by everyone with the exception of employee Rich. read more

Horrible, tried three times to order some flooring that was not in stock. Took three different trips before we found a staff who even knew how to order it for us. Been a month, they told us a week, it has not shipped. We have stopped in and called and all they say is it will be in next Tuesday. No one has a clue what they are doing or how to get the order in. read more

We ordered a dishwasher with instillation. They asked questions about how it was hooked up(plumbing & electric). I didn't know for sure, but assumed it was done they way they explained. Stayed home from work to let them in for the install. Well we were not setup correctly. Because of that they would not install. I was done washing dishes, so I attempted to do it my self with the tools I had. I was struggling so we went up to home depot to tell them to come and get it. We talked to Pau,l he talked me through what I was struggling with and gave me some ideas on how to proceed. He also gave(free) me a tool that I needed to finish the job. Then before we left he gave us his number and said to call he would stop after work if we needed him. Great customer service. He also added some extra to the installation refund. Very poor customer service. My husband and I visited this store on a weekend with a plan to purchase vinyl fencing. We were told to go from department to department because no one knew how to help us. We left frustrated. My husband decided to give them another shot on a Thursday. He stood there for 30 minutes while people walked by him only to say they would be back but never return. read more

I ordered a electric dryer. The dryer did not come with anything to hook it up with no cords no screws nothing. I was not aware that installation was separate though i payed for that. REalizing nothing included to hook up i called and was treated poorly and told nothing they can do and my order was supposed to be delivered on the 8th and came instead on the 12th. Delivery guys were unprofessional and rude. Left the dryer in my kitchen, box out front of my home, and left no receipt nothing not even a cord. I called told the erie store of this and was treated not good the people put me thru to many different departments. I finally spoke to a very Rude condescending woman very sassy and told well nothing we can do. I will never ever do business with any home depot ever again and will tell friends and family not to either. Very disappointed for 500 dollars to be told kick rocks not cool. read more
