Came in for some firewood for our girl scout trip. I had called in advance to see if they had wood. The person who helped me on the phone was friendly and helpful and let me know exactly where i would go to find it. I went in and was able to locate the firewood. Did not actually see any employees around. Went to self check and the guy working at the self check did not acknowledge my existence even though I was only person at the self check. They have horrible customer service, go to another location. They don't care that I spent over $6,000 on blinds and I have issue with 2 of them, wrong color and defective, been trying to rectify since March. The Managers Natasha and Roy just pass the issue on to another employee, who does not call you for a month at a time. You ask for their corporate number, they don't know it. We spent nearly 10 grand for all New Samsung appliances. Our refrigerator has partially worked since it was installed nearly a month ago. The Home Depot DOES NOT stand by their product. If you call The Home Depot, they will just pass you off to a Samsung Representative. The ice maker and dispenser on the door do not function properly. I was told it would be 10-weeks to get a new fridge, so I opted for the 48 to 72 hour turnaround time. They ordered a replacement door on June 8th, but no one to do the install. If they would ship me the goddamned door, I would install it myself. I have placed 4 calls to The Home Depot. The last call I made when I asked them to come and pick it up, I was once again connected to a Samsung representative that did nothing. Thank you, The Home Depot for washing your hands of any responsibility. This is the service you provide to Veterans, so I should definitely take my business elsewhere. Sad state of affairs with customer service at The Home Depot. Home depot recently denied a return I that I had a receipt for. I took advantage of Black Friday sales and bought $ 1,511.21 worth all new cordless tools to replace my old set. I bought some combo sets and some individual tools. I wound up buying some duplicates. When I tried to return three extra tools for $167.00 (with a receipt, sealed in their boxes, never opened)... I was denied. The customer service rep couldn't provide an explanation but did give me a number to call. I called and a reached "The Retail Equation", a third-party company that deals with "Return fraud and abuse". Which clearly makes me feel like a loyal Home Depot customer... Call 1: I was told I had to give my driver's license number. I said it was in the next room. She said she would hold. 20 seconds later I return to see that she hung up on me. Call 2: I waited on hold, gave the rep my receipt number and my DL. I said it was hard to hear him. He said "Hang up and call back" and which point he hung up on me. Call 3: Gave info, talked to rep and this is how it went Rep "This can't be returned because it was partially paid for with a Store Credit." Me "Well, can't I return it and get a partial Store Credit in return." Rep "When you buy something at Home Depot with a Store Credit, they have the right to refuse a return." Me "Where is this spelled out or disclosed to the customer." Rep "I don't know man." Me "Actually, I'm looking at my receipt right now and it says it was paid for with a Visa and no store credit." Rep "Well I'm just telling you what my system tells me." Me "I'm looking at the receipt right now. So how can we resolve this?" Rep "I can send you a form with 24 hours and you can dispute this." Me "Can I resolve this in a store?" Rep "No." Me "So you're asking me to dispute Home Depot's dispute of my return." Rep "Yes. In writing is the only way." Since I moved into my retirement home last year, I've been making a lot of improvements to the house. In the past 12 months, I've spent $18,495.60 at Home Depot. Ordered a $2k sliding glass door! Paid in full. Waited 6 weeks, called the store - after over 15 phone calls to multiple departments, as no one would answer... over several days, i finally reached a rep. "Oh, it's been here for a week". I asked why, no call, no delivery to the house, etc. After having had to go through the service desk, mill works and pro desk, I had the assurances of the asst Mgr that the door would be delivered, and a phone call to confirm. Not the case! After many, many more un-answered phone calls, I drove the 30 miles to talk in person. Witnessed many employees standing by the telephone, ringing off the hook. Manager instructions or incompetent? The door, finally agreed to be delivered- delivery window; standby for 14 hrs. "Someone will call you before delivery". That didn't happen. When the door arrived, it was missing the door handle! Went back to store - nice lady said, "go pick out something that will work and I'll have our 'specialist' order it for you. After the millwork desk rep stating, "I'm too busy to look for it, give me a week", I asked for a Mgr. Mgr promised to look for it, and call me back. Never happened. Again, drove to the store to meet with someone face to face. Mgr states, "I'll have our specialist order one and have it shipped to you". Doesn't happen! Another 5 week pass..., the wrong handle shows up at the store. No phone call, I have to reach out. NO ONE answers the phone after multiple calls!!! I again, drive the miles... I ask for the Mgr., she promises, "I'll have the specialist order the correct one and I will call you today to confirm. Still waiting for that call. I call, she's gone home. Total flake of a store. Employees with bad attitudes, no service, they don't help when you have a warranty problem. High turnover. 2 main issues. Bought paint to do entire home. Went back to get more paint to finish up. Went back four times and they could not match. They tried using the code and scanner and just could not match. They blamed me and said I applied the paint wrong. Then I found out the installed a new paint machine so I went to golden store. Golden store matched the paint perfectly. 2nd main issue. Dealt with Bob in Cabinets. This zero personality slacker ignored my pleas to fix their high end Thomasville cabinets. All the door panels separated. Oh "I only care about the Sale" Bob sent me a humidification form which said my home was to dry and this caused the problem. Odd that none of the other brands that I bought for the home had warranty issues. Anyway after not receiving an answer on what they were going to do to fix the problem I went to see ol Bob. He was talking to another home depot employee and after waiting 10 minutes I asked him when he would be freed up. He just grunted and pointed at the other employee. Screw these clowns. I ordered flooring on 8/22 to be picked up Aug 31. They had 55 boxes of a 70 box order and assured me that they would coordinate a will- call for me for the other 15 boxes. On Aug 31st they has zero cases. They didn't even hold the 55 cases that I had already paid for. Then they told me I had to cancel my order and go get it from another store. This Home Depot is terrible. Customer Service is non existent. I will never do business here again! read more

Wanted to buy a front door and have it installed. Signs everywhere say you can arrange for installation through the store just ask and associate. I asked two different associates and also the service desk. Pro desk was not staffed. They had no idea how to arrange for a installation. Unless you're just picking up something quick, it's probably worth driving down the hill if you actually need service. read more

Wow. A lot of bad experiences here, which didn't align at all with mine. First of all, the staff was very friendly, and readily available to help me out. On my most recent visit, I was purchasing a chainsaw to make hiding the bodies easier. Did I say hiding the bodies? I meant cutting down a couple of trees on my property that were damaged in the latest spring storm. Second, and important to me, the tax rate in unincorporated Evergreen is only 4.3%. I probably spend $3000 a year on home improvement, and that tax savings can add up fast if you are purchasing big ticket items. Think about that, liberals! I deliberately shop where the taxes are lower. Raising taxes hurts business, costs jobs and started the revolutionary war. Lastly, it's never crowded in this store. There's usually a smiling cashier ready to assist you right when you walk up. read more

I don't write reviews often and when I do, they are always very positive. That being said, I have had one of the worst retail experiences of my life at this Home Depot earlier today. I wanted to purchase a smart thermostat that I saw at Costco. I called this Home Depot and asked if they price matched Costco - I was told that they price match any "brick and mortar" store, so yes. I then called Lowe's who confirmed likewise. I decided to drive (35 min) to the Home Depot to purchase the product. When I got there, I specifically went by the customer service department and asked where the item was and confirmed that they would price match Costco. They said they would. I picked up the thermostat and went to check out where two cashiers confirmed that they would match, they just needed to get a managers approval. The manager came over and told me that they don't match Costco. My issue isn't necessarily the fact that I asked multiple people about policy and got the wrong answer. It's not even the fact that I ended up driving an extra 2 hours for no reason. My issue is with the manager who refused to accommodate a customer by slightly lowering the stores price to match not only multiple online retailers but several brick and mortar ones as well. Unprofessional, illogical, and senseless. Great way to lose business. read more

Don't bother with Express Delivery of large / many items. This store can't handle it. Placed an order around May 20th for nearly $500 worth of items. The website said delivery by May 24th for the $89 delivery fee. No problem. Welp, that day comes and goes, and then I see on the website, to be delivered June 3rd. I get a hold of support and they say 'We moved it up to May31st' Great. May 31 comes and goes. I get a hold of support on June 1st and they say that there was a problem with the truck and that it will be delivered on June 2nd, and to call this store at 12 noon on June 2nd if it hasn't arrived. Well wouldn't you know, 12 noon rolls around and no delivery. I call the store and they say 'It's scheduled to be delivered on June 10th' Now why would I wait yet another week (to make it a total of 3 weeks) since order for these items. The customer service person is not at fault, but they stated that their shipping company is not great... So why are we using them. I then contacted online support who stated that they can try to get the items before June 8th. No, It's already been proven that we can't trust their word, so why would I keep getting strung along. Guaranteed, no accountability comes from this to the Evergreen store, their 3rd party shipper or anything. Pretty common in today's world. I am just going to go to Lowes or any where else that can actually get the job done. This is the most embarrassing thing I have ever had happen with Home Depot. read more

The manager was rude, insensitive and confrontational. They have someone working in appliances who approached me the first time I met him by walking up and telling me about what a big shot he is and how he is the problem solver. He messed up that day. He messed up fixing it. He messed up figuring out how to fix his mess up. He them tried to blame me. Cool. I was there yesterday and he was on carts. That's the only job he should be doing. Not reordering appliances and processing refunds. Here to make a large purchase -- appliance -- and the woman in customer service very promptly tells me I can't do it at the counter, but must go to appliances. Ok. Go there, wait ten minutes without acknowledgement behind a customer. When the woman is freed up, she actually turns her back to me as though not wanting to help me and acts like she's busy, picking the phone call up that rings after I was patient in line for help for all that time. They know it's got to be taken down from above an aisle, and neither want to do it. The older man next to her very begrudgingly walks off to get one but who knows. Super rude either way. read more

Twice now one of the sales people here, Ross, has tried to pull the wool over my eyes on a sale by saying whatever it takes to make the sale and leaving out anything that might make me think twice or ask more questions, which would leave me INFORMED as a buyer... I wrote the first time off to just typical Corporate Sales people - who do just that - say whatever they need to to make the sale, no matter if it leaves the customer feeling like they have been taken advantage of. This time, "Russ The Carefree Salesman", while standing in front of a product and looking at it's price, said, when asked if there was any kind of deal going on, "If you special order it's 15% off". So, naturally I said, "well, let's go save 15%!". He wrote up the order, and it turns out, "Special Orders" cost exactly 15% more, so 15% off just makes it the same price we were looking at. So, "NO" is the answer Ross... "NO, there is no deal that will make it cheaper than the price you are looking at AND WE ARE DISCUSSING here... Sorry." He handed it to me as if I wouldn't notice that it cost exactly as much as the list price. Either he thinks I'm a complete idiot, or he doesn't understand how numbers & math works. To make matters worse, when I brought this to the attention of the assistant manager (name unknown - "Alesa" maybe..? Forgettable... "assistant" manager for obvious reasons) she responded by saying, "I think you just misunderstood". No, I did not misunderstand, SCENE: Here we are looking at the product and it's price. Ross says, "you'll save 15% if you special order. (period...)" END SCENE. That would be 15% off of the price we were looking at and discussing, NOT off of some special order markup you didn't mention Ross. (Which is BS anyway because the supplier has those products on hand for shipping. They do batches and runs of the "green" ones. They don't wait for a special order and go paint one item Green and send it on. No, they know how many they need, and they keep them stocked by doing runs at regular intervals. "Bill, run 1000 green ones and put them out for special orders"... It doesn't cost any more or take any more effort to "special order" a product that is already stocked in the store (even if it's a different color). And in any case, maybe storage on the suppliers end, it shouldn't cost 15% more...). In the final analysis - no joy for "Lies of Omission Ross" and no joy from the "management" who doesn't seem to care about a customer who has been lied to by a salesperson just so the sales person can make a sale. Neither of those sales ended up being completed because I saw through Ross's BS. He can think I'm an idiot all he wants, but I'm am certain he doesn't know how math works or he would have come back with a price that was 15% less than the list price we were looking at... (I understood that implicitly from the jump...) Bottom Line - I live in evergreen. I've spent upwards of 20K at the Evergreen store over the last couple of years. I will happily drive the extra 10 minutes to the Golden Home Depot, or just hop on over to Lowes on Wadsworth and take my business elsewhere if dishonest salespeople is something the Evergreen Home Depot thinks is ok. read more

DO NOT BUY APPLIANCES HERE! We had ordered and paid for delivery and installation of a refrigerator and dishwasher. Delivery was scheduled for Dec. 19. between 1 and 5:30 PM, with a phone call 2 hours prior. At 3:30, with no phone call, we contacted Home Depot to inquire, and were told that the refrigerator was on back order and would not be available until Jan. 3! In the meantime, the delivery service called about the dishwasher delivery, but stated they were only doing the delivery -no installation, which had been paid for! We refused delivery of the dishwasher, and demanded a refund for both appliances from Home Depot. They told us we could not get a credit card refund until Jan 3! Multiple calls and additional trips to the store have led nowhere. DO NOT BUY APPLIANCES HERE! read more

Delivery a disaster. My order, which was place oct 15th was rescheduled 6 times and still did not arrive on the day it was a scheduled. It was again rescheduled to arrive on nov 4th but magically arrived on nov 3rd, with our any forewarning. 4 out of the 6 times it was rescheduled I did not receive any communication until I called the location and was transferred to multiple people. There was an issue with weather (one time) which is unavoidable, but this delivery process was highly unprofessional, lacked communication, was very disruptive and disrespectful to my schedule and my work crew, and overall felt completely incompetent. I will never order delivery from Home Depot again and I suggest you do the same. read more

The worst Home Depot store I've ever visited and I worked as a Home Depot senior leader for 4 years and visited hundreds of stores. The store manager Nikki Glasgow lied to me about multiple things. She promised to refund me my delivery fee for flooring since I had to drive 1 hour to the store and pick up my merchandise because the store refused to deliver it. I've yet to be reimbursed and she won't return my messages. She then promised my installation would take place on time- which it didn't. Finally, she promised to provide financial reimbursement due to the issues I encountered which she didn't do and she won't return my emails or calls. Additionally, the District Manager won't return my emails and the corporate care group won't assist either. Home Depot has become a terribly company and I'll never shop with them again. Will be filing a complaint with the BBB but doubt they will care. What a crappy company filled with a bunch of liars and apathetic "leaders". What a joke. We had purchased a washer/dryer combo online. We were excited for our new purchase and for our delivery of 11/15. We got a call that day saying the roads were in bad condition. Our roads were fine, I even have screenshots of the road conditions time stamped. They rescheduled delivery for 1 week later. They delivered our washer but broke the dryer in the process. They said that someone will contact us on Saturday regarding replacement. We never heard from anyone so on Tuesday I contacted them. They had canceled that order and said we had to reorder and would be another 2 weeks to get the item after going back and forth between online and the store for an hour. I had decided to just cancel the dryer and go elsewhere. They didn't seem to care or have any compassion regarding my experience which I found very unprofessional. When the item was canceled and refunded, they had shorted me $190 for the other components that went with the order. I then had to sit on the phone going back and forth again for another hour, with them arguing with me that they had refunded most of the amount and will not refund more. It was not until I sent a receipt showing what they had refunded as well as my bank statement. I will never deal with another home depot ever again. This was our 2nd horrible experience with home depot after a major purchase. Truly am disappointed. read more
