One of the better things about this location in the state you have a lot of Staff members that are there to help you carry them for the most part the staff that work at this location were actually pretty nice. I was looking to buy a different conversation because I was trying to be safe my son's bathroom But this location had a lot of different things that were out of place. I was looking for a way to contact Home depot. I guess I will have to settle with this. I was at the store today after checking to make sure they had the items I was looking to buy. Once I was at the garden center, all of the items I was there for, the shelf was empty. I asked an employee where the inventory was and he looked up in the storage racks. He had no idea how long it would take to get someone to bring the pallets down. The customer service is non existent at this location. Not surprised to see the very low ratings for this store. Not sure why this Home Depot has so many bad reviews. I think it definitely depends what time of day you go in. We went around 10 am and it wasn't busy at all. They had what we needed and some sales. The staff were all super friendly and willing to help. They had the self check out lanes open which was nice to just go in and out if you didn't have a big load. Overall I enjoy coming to this homedepot. I haven't had an issue with any staff member and they always seem to have what we need at a better price. read more

We received horrifically bad service from Home Depot. We ordered a dishwasher. All dishwashers were available for "free delivery" (not available at the store) so we scheduled delivery. They brought a dented, beat up dishwasher to our house. A week later, they tried delivering another dented dishwasher. They missed the third scheduled date all together for delivery. After many calls to Home Depot, many customer service agents were unable to find a working, brand new dishwasher for our house. It's time to look elsewhere. read more

I came in about 7pm I needed new door knobs and deadbolts and rekeyed them there was no one around when I did see someone the ignored me. When I found someone to help but no one associate that could rekey them. This was the second Home Depot I went to for the same issue. read more

I just got new appliances and I will never refer someone to Home Depot for appliances! The microwave, stove, and refrigerator were purchased November 22, the original delivery date was for December 3... two days after the purchase I received a updated delivery date of December 12th which is fine I understand it's the holidays and things are low in stock but come the 12th on delivery day I was scheduled for delivery 130pm to 530pm, around 5:30pm the delivery changed to 542pm to 642pm ... at 548pm the delivery was then changed to December 17th..mind you I took out all of my appliances already so I had no refrigerator, stove, and microwave for 5 days. I took the day off work for the scheduled delivery, some food ended up going bad, it was overall such an inconvenience. How is Home Depot gonna tell me that late in evening I will not be receiving anything and that I now have to wait 5 days. When I called to speak with customer service on the 12th he told me there is nothing he can do about it besides compensate me once the appliances were delivered. When I called today to see what I was going to be refunded they let me know they would only do $50 for the inconvenience, Not even enough to cover the groceries that went bad and the day of work I had to miss. This location is absolute garbage. And after today I will take my business to Lowe's. EVERY TIME I come in here to ask for assistance I am left feeling stupid and like a moron. I am sorry I am bothering you with my pedantic questions and I am quoting here "there are no such things as stupid questions but this might qualify as one" and at first I thought he would follow up with something funny but then he just stood there and stared at me. I said are you kidding? He replied No. can you ask a different question? Not everyone is a home builder. I am medical. I get asked, what to me are idiotic questions all the time, like can I inject bleach into my blood to kill a virus. I NEVER make a patient feel dumb because they are coming to me scared and helpless. And while I am not scared, I do admit to having pretty basic questions. But that's your job. You are there to help people like me figure out how to fix my house. Not make me regret coming in and having to ask how to do, what you consider basic home repair. I've often avoided this specific store even though it's 1.6 miles from my house...but now I am going to avoid it all together. They claim to love and support veterans which is why I came here in the first place but your 10% discount is never going to make up feeling worthless when I walk out of your store. DO NOT buy an appliance through them. I was "guaranteed" an item was in stock and would be delivered but it wasn't and got rescheduled. I was then "guaranteed" again that my item would be delivered "no later than" a week later than the original delivery promise and once again... it was canceled with no future delivery date provided. I called multiple times and received horrible customer service. Finally canceled my order and went with another company. I worked at Home Depot years ago and used to be a loyal customer but I will never buy from them again. The lack of customer service, knowledge, and training is absolutely ridiculous. Super disappointed with this location. We placed an online order four weeks ago. Everything in the order showed "in stock" at the time. Hours after checking out, we receive a call that "Part of your order is ready" and part of "your order has been cancelled" due to items (27 of 62) not being in stock. We call back, no explanation as to why the computer isn't accurate and no apology, just "we don't have those things". We pick up our order only to find out that additional items are not included and "will be shipped" within two weeks. Really?! How many people start a (small) project wanting to take two weeks to complete it? We utilize another Home Depot for extra items to start the project. In the next few weeks (not two as originally stated) we continually get "your order is ready" only to stop by the store multiple times and it's not ready. One time I stop and ONE item is in. Really?!!! Obviously I have nothing better to do than stop by Home Depot daily?! And still, my order is incomplete. In dealing with the cashier he says "there should be more". I explain to him what I'm waiting for and that I had already picked up the partial order. He states that they didn't mark it picked up. A dishonest person could've walked off with the product. Continual errors. Finally 3+ weeks later, the project is complete and notice one gutter is damaged (has small holes, was obviously returned to the store, unchecked and sold to us). We were able to make it work but it's not what we paid for. With the project complete we return what we didn't use. I had to walk the cashier through item by item as he couldn't seem to figure it out himself. In all the shuffle he misplaces one item (how? I don't know, but not surprised after what we've been through). At this point, I'm done with this place. I take my "shorted" refund and get out. We've been going to this location for our home needs since we first moved into our house almost 6 years ago. All of our visits have been mediocre until today. Oh my word, it was one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had the displeasure of going through. I needed help in selecting some nails and screws for a repair. I asked an employee already in the aisle for assistance and he said that he was already working with another customer but would come back to help me. Walked away and never came back. Second employee walks by the aisle and I asked loudly for assistance and kept walking away. A little bit later, I saw the first employee who said he would come back to help me walk to the break room with co-worker. I definitely believed he never wanted to help me from the get-go. At this time, I called a friend to help me over the phone and was able to make my selections. I picked up a couple more random items and make my way over to the check out. Now my luck turns from bad to worse. I ended up waiting behind a customer who was having an issue with the cashier. There was another cashier in the next lane with no one in that lane but it did not appear open. A new customer walks up behind me to wait in line and the cashier next over asked for him to come over instead of me, who has been already waiting for 5 minutes. I'm absolutely fuming at this point and demanded to speak to a manager. I calmly (as I'm able to do this point) explained the customer service failure from multiple employees and expressed my profound disappointment. There is no reason for such a complete lack of regard in assisting paying customers, especially repeat customers. I've never felt so disrespected in a place of business. If there is a person of authority from the business reading this, I hope you will contact the right people at this location to re-train the staff on how to provide basic customer service. read more

It's a damn joke with this store. Problems upon problems! Don't ever get vanities or any heavy materials delivered unless you have people to help you carry it in. Their BS third-party delivery service wouldn't bring in the vanity because it somehow doesn't fit through the door; all they had to do was remove top box holding it together. They left it outside on a damn pallet with no cover over it and to top it all off they partially blocked my moms truck in the garage (handicap). I don't usually go to Home Depot since there is a Lowe's closer to my house. (I know, I'm spoiled lol.) Anyway, I decided to try Home Depot today and I was pleasantly surprised. It was me and my toddler that walked in to the Garden center entrance today. We were greeted within minutes of being in the smaller room that houses pots and smaller plants. An employee walking thru asked if there was anything they could help me with? It was nice and unexpected. Then, when I was back in the main garden center area looking at the potters on the far wall another employee who didn't typically work in garden center was able to help me with a random question I had. I was able to find everything I was looking for at this Home Depot quite easily, it was in stock. And as I was checking out with my plant, potting soil and planters the garden center cashier lady was quite friendly as well. Overall, I had quite a pleasant experience. I like shopping at Home Depot with my husband. I immediately "lose" him in hardware and head for the garden center with no one beside me asking if I really need whatever I am looking at. My recent visit found friendly (masked) staff who were extremely helpful. When I mentioned that I was disappointed in not finding the bigger bags of cactus mix, the cashier immediately took off to find the last bag that I had missed twice (different packaging) and a question regarding plant stands had a young sales associate insisting on leading the way. While it seems like the rest of the store's staff is not as knowledgeable, I always have success in the garden center. They had what I needed and I was done with everything in the trunk while my husband was still poking in the air filters. Now, if they would just stop selling those ridiculously spray painted aloes (that quickly die as a result) they would have gotten a five. read more

I normally wouldn't write a review about a hardware store but this Home Depot provided me with an infuriating experience. I came in for a dry erase board. Since the person who cuts it was on a break, I had to wait 30 minutes for it to be cut. It is absolutely unacceptable that they don't have people to cover when employees go on break. I asked 5 other people to help me. They each agreed but never came back to help me. I had to end up calling the store from the inside to speak with someone. I typically despise Home Depot, but when I needed some help figuring out their propane tank exchange system (it is different than in the Bay Area), I walked in and was assisted immediately(again, something different from my HD experiences at home). My mom was with me, and we decided to check out their ceiling fans as the one in my Grandma's bedroom conked out and she had a list of requirements for a new one and even though at 89 she is quite internet savvy, she couldn't quite differentiate what was what. Sadly, we left without a fan but did get mom her new propane tank (I am quite the cook and did not learn from mom) as she relies on the bbq for just about everything you can overcook :) Mom also said I got the help I needed right away because I am tall, and under 60. Who knows, but I was glad to be in and out without any problems! read more

I can't in good conscience say I am a fan of Home Depot. It's closer to an enslavement than an admiration. As you probably know, there isn't much of a choice out there when it comes to Home Improvement. But in the small limited world of Big Corp. Home Supplies , this location of Home Depot is my favorite. Why you ask? Well here it is ...even in my grimiest, grubbiest, grumpiest moments of self improvement, I mean home improvement, this locale treats me well. They seemed to enjoy the challenge of making eye contact with the customer. I may be be sweating profusely with paint splatters all over my "Frankie Says Relax" Off the shoulder t-shirt, dirty, muddy and have mascara dripping off only 1 eye and they still respectfully show me the way to the drop clothes, cow manure or granite cleaner. And they smile , not the smarmy way either but the sincere way. I know that if I worked there I would be more than grossed out by the smells coming off the customers, i would hide and make sure I didn't have to deal. But these guys don't even flinch. And an added plus is they never seem to have a line or wait for mixing paint. When I want paint , I usually have my mind already spinning on my project and I appreciate their ability to get me and my paint out the door as quick as possible. Stood in front of the wireless thermostats for about 20 minutes before I saw someone. I asked for assistance and they responded: "this isn't my department" so they went and looked for someone...fair enough Waited another 5 minutes or so and still nobody showed up. I flagged someone else down and the same scenario repeated itself. I finally left and just ordered the Nest on Amazon for about $30 cheaper anyways. Over the years, I've split my home repair shopping relatively evenly between Home Depot and Lowes, however, after my experience at the Home Depot in Glendale, AZ (Bell Road) today, Lowes will receive my exclusive patronage. Upon spending 40 minutes shopping for smoke and CO2 detectors for my mother-in-law, who had a store credit at the Home Depot, I was challenged/denied use of the credit at the register. Even after offering to have my mother-in-law call and text her ID, Home Depot personnel denied the use of the store credit. If The Home Depot and other brick and mortar stores are wondering why they are losing customers to Amazon, this particular incident can serve as an example as to why I'll be looking to online shopping versus being frustrated with poor customer service such as that experienced today at Home Depot. Sunday Morning Home Depot Experience .. get there @ 6am ...only to find out they don't open till 7am ..several other people there ready to buy ...it's Arizona ... Why open up @ 7am ... People work all week and only have the weekend for projects . And it gets HOT quick in Arizona ...
