I do like this Lowe's, what I DON'T like, is the customer service in regards to the interest charges on my account. I paid off my bill completely on 2/12 & received on 2/24 a bill for $8.28 of interest charges owed after the fact. I have never been charged interest charges after the bill has been paid in full & was not late paying the bill. I can understand if I paid the bill late. It was paid at least 10 days before the due date. No interest charged if paid before 2/24. I WILL NOT BE USING THEIR CC AGAIN. They've lost my business when it comes to using that CC. read more

Lowes on 83 and Thunderbird is a horrible place to shop. We bought a water heater here brought it home and one of the heating elements was shot. BRAND NEW water heater. Not only did Lowes reguse to replace it but told us we had to repair it ourselves by replacing the element. So we had to take it home and hire someone to replace the element. After the sale service is the worst . purchased a charbroil grill that was built by Lowe's employees. After using a few times we noticed it was flaming up not like other grills we have owned. Last week it was a raging inferno that nearly setting the house on fire. We went to Lowe's and were told 2 days out of warranty and they won't do anything. Charbroil says it was assembled wrong and Lowe's needs to make it right. Nope Lowe's won't do anything. Husband is disabled which is why we paid for them to assemble. We went shopping for a Christmas tree. We have been to this location four years in a row now. They have the best service and Jimmy and Kolby were the absolute best. We will never purchase our live tree from anywhere else because of the service they have given us. Jimmy is professional and kind. What these gentleman didn't know was we just lost our son and purchasing a tree was not something we were looking forward to this year. Bought a sliding patio door from Lowes on Higley Rd., Arizona, and made the mistake of having their inept and very sloppy install team put in in. The installer covered nail holes with white calking on a brown wood raised wood grain frame. The door sticks when trying to open, and the frame is bent. Also, the door, when closing, is off about a 1/16th in the center but flush on top and bottom. I've been to Lowes 3 times to complain, and this last visit, Store Manager Mark Williams stated he would look into it. Just received a job completed email this morning. Went there yesterday because according to their website there are (5) Champion CJ6 spark plugs in stock. Everything was mixed up. Nothing was sorted. It was a clusterfuck of a spark plug cornucopia. This store left me in awe, it took me an entire day to build up the courage just to say this. Bob the store manager was extremely rude and offered no help when his employees were asking for information for me and my family. Our dryer was breaking down and we were attempting to get assistance in recovering the warranty but rather than showing compassion towards the situation, he told everyone that is not his job and made no attempt to give us information to recover the warranty. We had very helpful workers who were left speechless and overall embarrassed by their attempts to help us out. All in all, this store needs some seriously management changes asap. read more

My son daughter and I went with the purpose of purchasing a small freezer. Jared was able to assist us. He noted they did not have any in stock and informed me of another location that had them. He assisted me to do my order w the other location. He also allowed me to make a desperate purchase and provided me details of the other location for the freezer. Fantastic and very helpful. I live 55+ miles from this Lowes, but they had a washer I wanted that was sold out at all other Lowes in the city. I called and they let me pay for it over the phone so I could pick it up the next day. When I arrived they had it set aside for me and had all my paperwork ready to go. The only problem I had was finding someone in the appliance area. No one was there and the call button to let someone know over the intercom someone needs assistance was broken. I had to roam the store to try and find someone to ask them to call someone to that area. Once called I still had to wait another 4-5 minutes before anyone arrived. I went to the Lowe's on 8497 w thunderbird in Peoria to return an item that was given as a gift for my new home. I didn't have a receipt the cashier (man) in returns simply said sorry can't help you didn't offer any type of suggestion. I walked away and I saw another person walking and I asked for a manager, the manager walked up he's name Sergio he said the same thing sorry can't help you without a receipt. I said well can you look it up with the person's information? and he said yeah I can try. He had that same look that the other cashier had and this is a manager. he looks it up with the phone number and email and he said he couldn't find anything. We were buying more things for the house a lot more things so we were planning on spending a good amount of money but because we didn't have a receipt and the manager couldn't find it we left. Yesterday, after waiting for 2 weeks, I went to this Lowes and asked for the manager. I was asked why I wanted to see him. I said " Customer service, the lack of. " I waited for at least 15 minutes for the manager ( helping another customer) to appear. Finally he appeared and asked how he could help. I told him my sad story of my kitchen remodeling. Laminate excellent job. Cabinets placed excellent job. Measuring service for both jobs excellent job. Did you know you didn't get counter tops with the cabinets? Now you do. So I PAID TO GET MY COUNTER TOPS MEASURED so I could complete my kitchen renovation. The manager called the proper party in charge and part of his conversation was THAT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE. So he put down the phone and told me I NEEDED TO BRING THE SQUARE FOOTAGE TO LOWES the square footage of the counter tops I needed. I replied that they already knew that because they knew how big the cabinets. THE MEASURING SERVICE DIDN'T WANT TO COME OUT AND JUST QUOTE PRICES TO ME. THAT'S HORSE PUCK. I PAID FOR THE SERVICE. LOWES HAS A PART OF THEIR SERVICE TEAM THAT IS ROTTEN AND NEEDS TO BE REMOVED. Every other part of the process went smooth and the job was excellant. This didn't. CABINET/COUNTER BUYERS BEWARE! Lowe's - 8497 WEST THUNDERBIRD ROAD A very short version of a very long story: * I purchased semi-custom cabinets and quartz counter tops on 5/5/2023 for two bathrooms, a laundry room and a hall. To date, 10/17/2023, I don't have a single room complete. Not only that, I have now been without sinks/counter in the MAIN bathroom for nearly 4 weeks because Lowe's REFUSES to right THEIR wrong and have them installed in two phases AS AGREED. I have no other guest bathrooms--which is why the bathrooms were being done in two phases. * Lowes "expert designers" are not "experts" or "designers". They have no idea how to use their systems and every time they "lose it" and reenter it the price goes up (nevermind the hour it takes to enter the order each time), they order the wrong color (which they did fix-10 weeks later), they order the wrong sizes (still waiting...), they fail to reorder "warranty" parts (still waiting...), then they try to charge you more to correct their mistakes after they told you at time of purchase that "all quartz in the same grade is the same price"...which it's not, but you don't know that because they don't tag the ones that are on sale and they don't itemize the project estimate so you don't know what is material vs installation)! BUT they happily take your money in advance ($25K+) and then ignore you when things don't go right unless you go to the store and raise a stink in front of customers. That's the only thing that gets their attention...but it's only for the moment and then they will lie to you and tell you they will get things corrected.... But they don't. * Don't waste your time with their managers either. They won't call you back. They won't email you. They don't keep you informed. They "escalate" you right into SPAM. * Don't waste your time with the BBB because Lowe's has an executive customer service rep that responds to you quickly so they can have the BBB close your case but they don't do anything to solve the problem....seems they can't get ahold of anybody at the store to help them either. Wow, even their internal people get treated like crap...or they too subscribe to the Lowe's "I'll pretend to care, lie to them and then just ignore them until they go away" customer approach. I'll never know. * Lowe's can't be trusted. * Lowes does not hold up their end of an agreement. Funny... I did. January 2022 we purchased all new interior doors including frames and exterior front door. Our salesman was Corey from the 83 Avenue and Thunderbird store. Doors we're to be in by March 2022. By April we heard nothing from them. Called and texted our salesman no response. We went into the store and was told we had to go through the salesman. I told them he never returns messages or texts. No response from them. Finally June 20 they came to install all doors. None of the doors had holes for door knobs except door to garage. Installers said it was not on work order. Guest room doors were wrong. Still not installed as of 09-30-22. Told front door could not be installed due to sidelite window. It should have been complete unit. Still not installed as of 09-30-22. Salesman told us to purchase security door ourselves and they would install and put door knob and lock. (not installed and installers took our door when they left) They still have not returned our door. Field supervisor came and sent in a work order for work to be complete. Did not hear anything for two week. He said work order was sent the same afternoon and they should have contacted us. I called Lowes Installers. They said a door was back ordered. They indicated nothing else was on work order. Contacted salesman and he said all he could do was send a work order. He could or would not tell me what was on the work order. As of today 09-30-22 no work has been totally completed. They are a joke. Customer service in unbelievable! I truly think most issues are the salesman. He does not follow through with his work orders. He gets his commission and he's done. You should live with no door knobs. It is insane. I have requested a paper invoice and still have not received it. At the time of sale I told Corey we could not read invoice on his laptop. He reviewed everything we discussed and it was fine. I truly don't think the invoice is correct. He just repeated everything we said. I was too trusting with him. I had too pay 100% which I was really not comfortable doing. Corey indicated that was Lowes policy. He could not order anything until it was paid. So stupid me I paid 100%. $12,000.00 + later and still not complete. DO NOT Hire Lowes!!!! read more

The check out in the garden department always has a long line with one cashier stationed. There are an abundance of handicap parking spots and a few designated parking spots for online pick-up. On April 1, I ordered a 7 piece patio furniture set online through Lowe's. The order was made as a GUEST rather than using an online account. I received an email that the order was coming early and 4 boxes were expected to arrive. I received only 2 of the boxes and the FedEx driver said that was all he had to deliver. The box label said boxes 3 of 4 and 4 of 4. The same day, I received an email that my order was delivered. The item delivered was a different model number than the one I ordered and the picture did not match the description of the chairs I ordered. I called Lowe's to report the issue and they stated that since I didn't use my online account, I had to return the order to a store myself. I had to borrowed my brother in law's truck to do so . The employees at Lowe's were equally confused by the delivery. Two days later I received another message from FedEx that more boxes were coming. I then received boxes 1 of 4 and 2 of 4. In the meantime, XIZZI at Lowe's tells me that I need to return the boxes to the warehouse. Every initial delivery and communication indicated that I received the wrong item and/or only a partial order. I will never order from Lowe's online again. read more

We called and they have no info on our purchase. New guy being trained on register without a vest or assembly peeps messed up. Went back to Lowe's to get my grill and they can't find it saying they sold it to someone else. Darren looks everywhere who was great. Tim the manager wants to make it right by selling me a worse grill for more money. Tim does nothing but upset me and not help. I ask about another one and he says it's a special order. He gets on the phone and walks away leaving Darren with a now irate ex customer. I go to get a refund and Amber who tries to make it right but there isn't enough staff to free her up. Waiting... Purchased flooring and was told it would be delivered on a certain day. The few days leading up, and even on that date, I expected a call to schedule a delivery time, etc. No call. I called at 9:30am and was told that the delivery truck just left and I should be getting a call shortly. 7:00pm rolls around and still no contact. Two attempts to call after being on hold for 15-20min I finally find out that not all of the flooring has been delivered and a truck just arrived. I'll get a call the following morning from someone (Debbie). 10am the next day, no call. My parents assist me by talking to a manager at the store (since I'm at work) and they're told that Patrick (manager) will be contacting me in the next 30-60min and that he'll be handling this personally, along with a $300 refund. It's now nearly two hours later and still no call from him. I'm beginning to think that going through Lowe's was a mistake. I definitely won't recommend Lowe's to anyone that I know after this. But unfortunately all their scrap Lumber is bundled, so it'll cost me more to buy the bundle scrap versus buying just a single piece. But, I found what I wanted, and that's the main thing.
