Cashier charged me full price on an item that was on clearance after waiting in a line that was there when I first walked in. Not only that but she plain just didn't charge me for an item. I only realized her mistakes after looking at the receipt. Completely unprofessional when its not even busy on a Sunday afternoon. I do not want to do business here anymore. read more

Buyers Beware! In 2018, I purchased an Electrolux washer and dryer from The Home Depot and purchased a 5 year extended warranty. The washer and dryer come with a one year labor and 3 years parts replacement warranty from the manufacturer. That should have made it a total of 6 years but The Home Depot refuses to honor the warranty agreement as per the terms of coverage written in their warranty contract. They claim that the five year warranty purchased started when I took delivery but according to the terms of coverage in the contract it states that the extended warranty starts after the manufacturer's warranty expires, one year from the purchase date. The Home Depot refuses to honor the agreement and I will never purchase any major appliances from them in the future. Do not be fooled by their so called warranty. read more

I spent 4 hours researching online for a special sized commode chair. I could not find what I needed in a price range I could afford. By chance, I searched Google, sorting by image to find what I needed. To my surprise, Home Depot popped up! I called the store at 2:15pm and by 2:41pm, just 26 minutes, I had all the details, placed an order, received a discount, paid through a link, talked to a supervisor, and completed a survey!! Best customer service goes to Felicia at Home Depot. That woman knows her merchandise and how to research for more! Her attitude is friendly, outgoing, professional and fast! In this day it's rare to have such excellent service. This woman should train other people in the stores about Customer Service. read more

we traveled from Chambersburg to Hagerstown to pick up my order of window blinds. My order was so messed up- ordered grey blinds and they gave me white ones ( they happen to be in a grey blind box). Apparently no one bothered to make sure my order was correct. Parts were missing also. We have been trying to callHome Depot. let the phone ring 60 times but customer service won't pick up! Ok, spouse and I were in HD looking for a particular item. I asked two HD peeps who were together and neither was of great help. My spouse asked one guy that actually took the time to look up the item and found it for us. Yeah, to that person. Bought paint to paint my ceiling, got half way through and ran out of paint so the next day we got more paint.... finished painting, to find out the shades were different colors, so I spent 4 hours painting a ceiling for half to be a different color. Mind you i took the paint can of exact paint i wanted that i bought the day before..... how could they not get the right color???? read more

This store (Garland Groh, Hagerstown) has the worst customer service. I had checked their website for a product, the site said 33 were available (which I know is never accurate and update) but only needed 3 so I took a chance. I could not find the product where signified on the store site, so I looked around, and found them. But the containers I wanted did not have the required lid on a low shelf. I spied 2 employees standing near by, laughing and talking and slowly putting items away out of a cart. So I waved to them and said excuse me; one employee spotted me and quickly turned his back to me. So I walked toward them and said excuse me, both of them quickly grabbed items and turned away from me as if they were discussing something important and started laughing. I then walked right beside them and said' excuse me, can you help me." The young man quickly walked 3 steps away and young lady pretended she couldn't hear me and started to walk away. So I repeated "Excuse me, can you help me. Excuse me, can you help me". She finally looked at me and snapped," What do you want ". So I calmly explained that I wondered if the lids I needed were on an upper shelf, and that there was a ladder near by but I didn't want to presumably use it." She then told me to get the ladder and check myself. So I returned to the area I was shopping in, dragging a large store ladder behind me. Still unable to find my item, I called the store (that I'm standing in). It rang 15 times before someone answered, I explained I was in the store, the product I wanted, and I couldn't find it although its was listed on website. The lady said it's got to be there hold on, 10 minutes later she came back on to say, what can I help you with, I explained again, she responded "it should be there". I said I can't see it can I get assistance. She said I'll try to find someone. By this time other customers around me (4 others) overheard my conversation and said they needed assistance but no one around. One couple were on hold with the store and no one answered, and a man said he heard his assistance request mentioned 3 times over the speaker and still no one. Finally an employee did come to assist me, on approaching he politely said our site says we have them, let me go look to see if there are any. In 15 minutes he returned to say, we have 3 with no lids if you want them. While waiting on him the couple on hold abandoned their full cart of bathroom wares and left. And the man waiting left his cart angry that no one came in response to the intercom. While 2 employees stood, unhelpful less than 15 feet away. I wasted 45 minutes in Home Depot. I don't like that customer service leadership always seems to be bothered by questions at my local HD. I have had to deal with them 3 times on purchases. All three times has been a fiasco. Went there twice to buy a trailer. Leadership doesn't train their subordinates so I had to return when the single human being that had any clue about buying a trailer came in. Called first as I was instructed to do. I could hear this woman in the background trying to get out of speaking with me. "Hardware answers those questions.". Anyway. I was told to pick the one I wanted, write down the VIN and bring the VIN number inside. There were 3 trailers. One was badly weather beaten, the other was obviously used. Side frames were bent. Hole plugs missing. So I chose the third. Returned with the VIN and was informed that one was already purchased and I would have to choose another. She seemed quite bothered when I told her never mind because the other 2 were not in good condition. Sadly, this was a much better experience than buying a 72" tool box from HD. "No ma'am, I don't think plugging in the tool box power strip will open the drawers that your coworker locked the keys inside of. read more

I ordered fencing , great price, easy ordering, the delivery went to crap as soon as it started by the delivery person trying to take to tall of a pallet off of his truck and dropping a Hugh portion of my fencing off of the forklift. He then refused to help me and my neighbors pick up the panels. We are all in our 50s and I'm over 60. I called customer service to get this fixed, they had to replace 8 panels and they say you will get a call 30 min before delivery. I never got one call with the 4 or so trips they had to make out to my house. Then they were rude about coming at 8 am today and me yelling at them for not calling. They said they called. I asked why no message and they said they aren't required to leave one. Are you freaking kidding me. I will never do business with a Home Depot again. Even the management doesn't call when they say they are going to. The young man picking up the panels today said, we only contracted with Home Depot.. are you kidding me.. way ti standup for who your representing...NOT. The ONLY people who were decent and super nice were the customer service people I talked to on 4 occasions. They do a great job. The store however does not. read more

Placed an online order at 9 am on 5/12. Was told it would be ready for pick up in 2 hours. Here we are. May 13th 4 pm still processing. I text the number to ask for help. They give me a number to call the store. That number, with a local area code, directs me to guess who? THE 1-800 number. Shocker right. The person that picks up, can't get a hold of the store. (She was super nice by the way) gives me the stores number. I inform her that's what I called and got her. She calls the store again. I'm on hold for 25 minutes. I hang up. I get a text an hour later that my order was ready to go (i guess she finally got ahold of someone and told them to get my order asap). i text the 1800 number to cancel, at this point I've decided to spend my money at lowes. 15 min wait to get an answer. In that time i call and have my order cancelled. again super nice guy. its a shame that it took me 3 hours of work to get my order processed and cancelled it. I except that 3 hours on a paycheck with taxes given to the government since i performed labor for them. The customer service outside of the 2 individuals on the phone was a joke. The person who took 13 minutes to reply and i texted in that time saying i called already, then took another 10 minutes after initial response to inform me my order was cancelled. After i told him i got it cancelled over the phone. All in all, shitty service like this is why Jeff bezos flew himself to the moon and guys like musk can buy twitter. Get it together or the two good people you have answering phones are gonna have to find new jobs. read more

My in-laws and I had the best customer service experience the other day! My husband and I are currently building our own deck and I went to Home Depot to get the rest of the supplies we needed. Manny, from the Pro Desk, did a great job explaining to us what we needed and how to finish putting it together. He walked us to every item on the floor that we were going to need and even made it possible for us to rent a truck that day to take the stuff back to our house. Couldn't recommend this Home Depot enough! read more

Very poor experience today. They had a placard up for Honda Eu220i generator for $599. I got someone to get two of them down for me. Took them to check out and they came up over $1000 each. They would not honor the price that they had them advertised for on the placard. They said the price was for a different model but the sign was clearly for the model I was purchasing. Just reminded me why I'd rather go to Lowe's than shop here. Home Depot always pulls this kind of crap. read more

I'm a new, up and coming plumber and I go to this Home Depot for everything I need; whether it be tools, wood, pipe, fittings, etc. Their prices on materials and tools are some of the best around. Everything in the store is very organized making it very easy to find the things I need. The employees at this store are a huge help. There check up on you to make sure you are finding everything alright and if you have any questions about a product or anything of that sort, the employees are so knowledgeable about every item in the store. This is probably the best Home Depot I've been to. I highly recommend anyone who needs tools or supplies to go here. read more
