Please read before buying LG! We bought an LG washing machine, replacing our old LG (10 year warranty). After a short few months it started to destroy our clothes. It first accord after washing our sheets. They looks like some sharp object would be in the drum and pull strands out of the fabric. We checked the drum, stroked over every inch with our hands, used cotton balls to see if anything stuck - nothing! I called customer service (we ordered our washer directly from LG). They told us to run the drum clean cycle 5 times in a row (that's 7.5 hours!) that should solve the problem. We did and the next load of laundry had the same problem. We called LG again, send them pictures as requested, were told they investigate and call back. They never did. Today was the 6th time I called and also send an email to the president. After telling them that I will write this review and post it everywhere I was asked by the supervisor if I use the right cycle to wash my laundry. I am 69 years old and know how to do laundry. Finally I was told he would pass it on to their service center which will contact me to find out if it is a manufactory defect. This goes on now for over 6 weeks. The service center contacted us via text and asked what are the defective parts - how am I supposed to know? The next message was they reach out if they have someone available. I would stay away from LG which is hard to say because we have LG everywhere from fridge to TVs but if something is wrong it is the worse customer service you ever experience. read more

Came to the local Home Depot in Hialeah for a return. Service representative although busy with another customer, she made eye contact and apologized for the delay. Upon making the return- easy process as you must have the receipt for a full refund return back to your card- or at best a store credit may be given depending on the item returned. Checking out your items afterwards is now utilizing self checkouts and therefore diminishing the human error. read more

This is a very busy Home Depot, when I went, there was a ton of people shopping, browsing, etc. The parking lot, even though is large, was very full, so I had to park far from the entrance. I walked in and everyone in there was speaking Spanish, which is fine with me, since I do speak Spanish, but I feel for those English speakers that might feel a bit intimidated with the sudden full immersion into a Spanish environment. I have been going to this Home Depot for years and was one of two Home Depot locations I used to come to a lot when I lived in Hialeah. It's a pretty decent Home Depot, service is very good... this most recent shopping experience is the perfect example of why. I was shopping for a new Christmas tree. The way I decorate my home historically, is I have a large tree in one end of my house and a much tinier tree in the other. I decided just to have two full Christmas trees and I needed a new one. I finally found the one I wanted at this Home Depot. It was a 7.5 LED "Starry Night" Tree. It's flecked in white... and what is cool about it is that I can transition from white to color or go in between in patterns... depending on what you want. I totally wanted it... but they ran out. The Home Depot employee went and said wait let's see if another Home Depot store has it. I didn't even ask and he was offering to help. He went and started looking at other stores inventory and gave me three other stores and their addresses that had trees remaining. Yeah that's good customer service... still they should have had the tree. read more

In all honesty, i would give this establishment zero stars, but that's not possible so I'll give it one star. The service my family has received from this store is absolutely offending and ridiculous as well. My family and I had our appliances taken by Home Depot on a Saturday and were promised to be delivered on a Sunday. Home Depot delayed our appliances twice! we have had no appliances for 5 days and they expect us to wait 2 more days! This whole experience was extremely outrageous. This is the worst Home Depot location I have ever experienced. Every time I come for something and cannot find signs to guide me where to locate an item there is never an employee anywhere to be found or around and they're all somewhere congregated having social hour. Without fail every single time I place an online order and go to pickup at the counter I have to wait behind someone placing a complex order or having a major issue so it takes so ridiculously long to be attended and no one bothers to say anything, like I'll be right with you. I'm writing this review as I wait for my online order items to be shopped because they weren't in the front as the the email and text they sent me claimed it was ready for pickup. The parking lot is atrocious, trash strewn everywhere. Tons of guys cat calling, it's awful. read more

I'm not one to frequent Home Depot being a stereotypical female and all, but recently I've been left with no choice. My house is in utmost chaos currently. Between fixing things, throwing stuff out, and the like, I've essentially been remodeling my home with a friend's help. More so, I have a visitor coming next weekend, so we are trying to get things decent for him. Still, this is going to be a work in progress. The house is huge. Anyway, today we went to get a whole bunch of tools to fix electrical outlets. We also bought towel racks, toilet bowl cleaner, and a brush. Needless to say, my main bathroom is what is getting remodeled, and well, no qualms thus far. This Home Depot has ample parking and a huge selection. Everything is organized and properly labeled. The only issue is that given its location, Spanish is the main language, so non-Spanish speakers beware. Still, there are a few people here who speak English, so all hope is not lost. Would you ever expect to hear angels sing while shopping at Home Depot? Neither would have I. I did, though! I did! Before I go on, let me explain that I was holding out for that perfect place for my 500th review. Originally I had planned to venture to Orlando to ride the new coaster and make that it. Destiny (my car broke down) had other plans... So on a Saturday night we end up in Hialeah, at Home Depot. Who ends up there unless you live in that area? No one.. just us. So expecting the usual crowds, screaming, pushing, shoving, dead behind the eyes attitude from employees, we buckle up and grudgingly go in. Light, open and welcoming we stop for a second thinking we entered the wrong place, I mean c'mon.. its HOME DEPOT. Greeted very cheerfully at the door we are cautious and expect the hammer to fall. I was actually scared, it was too perfect, something MUST be wrong.. Tentatively we go to the light bulbs which we need, and there is an employee who, get this, I know its hard to believe, discreetly STEPS ASIDE while we look. And waits. My hubby completely oblivious to this takes his sweet time trying to find what he needed. I noticed but figured it was a fluke. He must have been waiting for something else, but no, as we turn away he returns to what he was doing right where we had been. The store is HUGE, it wasn't crowded at all, it had a beautiful Christmas display area, and we not only were able to stroll through with no problem, the other patrons were few and far between, and were POLITE, but kept on getting greeted by the employees "Good evening!" and another who was stocking stopped and said "May I help you find what you are looking for?" ... I stop in my tracks to reply "Thank you, but we are good!" Very good, actually for I was astounded. They not only were cheerful and helpful but they spoke to us in ENGLISH!!!! I know!!! I never get spoken to in English at any other Home Depot, and if I try I get that "Screw you bitch you are speaking to me in Spanish because I am not even bothering to learn your language so you MUST know mine" attitude. Not here.. I felt like Brad Garrett in that 7UP commercial, I wanted to sing and dance down the aisles in glee! No Mrs. Curmudgeon here! "Pliers, ma'am" "Why yes thank you! And may I have a 16" Multi Position Prybar too?" "Why here it is, do you need a 4 Piece Fuel Brake Line Wrench Set?" "Oh no we are good with this..but thanks!" Just one happy customer. Not sure if it is due to the economy, or the management in this store's got it together. We had the most surreal and unexpected experience here. Granted, could have been that we set off with low expectations, but the employees in this store really surprised us. Now, I don't want to be unfair here, and assume that because you've been to one Home Depot, you've been to all, but there is a marked difference with the service her. Every single employee we came in contact with, made it a point to make eye contact and say hello, additionally, they were attentive and took the time to help us find everything we were looking for. It's a really good feeling when you see that good service in Miami is not totally extinct. read more

Went in to buy an anniversary gift. Cedric and Kevin were very nice and super helpful. They both get five stars from me. They were literally the only two people willing to help us. Please value employees like this as they are few and far in between anymore. Thank you. I gave the store 4 stars for the lack of any other willingness to help. I was looking for straw hats, I asked 3 different employees and they sent me to different places, one even telling me so sorry he doesn't really know. They sent me to isle 12 for hard hats. Went to the Pro Series area and the gentleman was very rude and kind of upset I was in need of assistance. I really don't know who does their costumer service training but is not working. Finally giving up and on my way out I decided to ask a lady and she was helpful, said they used to have them in the gardening department but not anymore. I wish they could pass that info down to the rest of the employees and saved us from an awkward and unpleasant shopping experience at your Home Depot where your mission statement is to provide the highest level of service. I sought this Home Depot out because it had good yelp reviews. I'm sorry to say that my experience was terrible and that this fabled staff is not so helpful. I arrived with an hour of free time, for what could have taken ten minutes and never got done because I ran out of time. I needed 3 simple items, I found one but when I asked the first three employees, which were hard to get access to, they didn't know where to look. Then after 20 minutes of being lost I finally asked for help from one of the employees working at a computer. He referred me to a boss who referred me to a young guy and told the young guy to find Carlos in lumber, so this guy starts wandering aimlessly and I have to remind him numerous times we are looking for Carlos in lumber- I figured the boss sent us to this guy for a reason. Then we wandered around lumber and of course, couldn't find Carlos. So instead of radioing for help, he walks me all the way over to other side of the store and stops in the way to answer more than a few questions of people, completely forgetting about me and taking his sweet time to answer. Then he walks me up to a guy I had already asked with a line of four people waiting to speak to him, I kid you not, and he tells me to wait in line to ask that guy. I gave up in frustration. What a way to spend a Sunday. This place is not any good in my simple opinion and this legendary staff is a joke... read more

I knew I was in for disappointment when I was bombarded by homeless people for money and Latin "handymen" aggressively telling me to hire them for home repairs. Management desperately needs to address these issues and remove these people from the parking lot since it is classified as loitering and harassing their customers. The staff isn't very helpful, most don't speak English, and the overall store is very disorganized. When I returned to my vehicle, my car window was covered in unsolicited business cards from those "handymen". I hope corporate gets involved. read more

I'm sorry it wasn't purchased in your store. Sell me the cost f your key and cut mine. It's simple. Very easy. You make money and I'm happy. But no. Not in Hialeah. The worst store/service EVER.Manager Denise was very rude and condescending asking me if I know how to read a sign. I live in Tampa and my daughter lives in Hialeah Florida. I gave my daughter flooring for my grandchildren room. When the installer arrived , he said that was the wrong one. My daughter did not have the receipt with her as I purchased it here in Tampa and she just needed to exchange the floor for a different one "more expensive". I was on the phone and offered a million ways to get Denise the information. But Denise refused to help. She gave me corporate phone number and told me they were open the same times the store was. I hung up and called right away and they were closed. (She lied). The worse shopping experience ever. Denise said the return policy was just changed yet she couldn't make an exception and had to follow the rules. Clearly she needs to go to management school and get trained on customer service. This location usually has a big selection for the home improvements I do to my home. The staff is friendly and helpful. I'm. It a big fan of how packed it gets, but hey that's good business for them. Parking lot is usually always full but it's a pretty big lot and with the in and out traffic you find a space pretty quick. They have a great selection on plants, outdoor sets, and hardware. There prices are fare also compared to the nearby home improvement stores. Thank you Home Depot on 49st for making my house beautiful inside and out. read more

After looking around in the Paint Dept aisles we still weren't sure which one of the many choices would be best. Thank goodness for JIMMIE in the Paint Dept! Great selection, plenty of stock, SUB-STANDARD to NO SERVICE. After nearly filling my cart, I stood in line for key service. After completing one order, the employee at the key kiosk stated he would return shortly leaving myself & 4 other customers waiting in line. After waiting 7+ minutes I spoke with an employee at the self service line to request assistance at the key kiosk only to have that employee TELL me I was exaggerating & that she could see him making keys as we spoke. Pointing out that one could not see the key kiosk from her location, she walked me back to the kiosk to discover no employee there. No apology for her demeaning tone. She looked down Aisles 10-13 & stated he was helping another customer. Returning to the kiosk, a customer was kind enough to allow me to take my original place in line. I waited a bit longer, walked up to the key kiosk employee only to discover he was socializing with a couple of friends. I, as others did before me, left without receiving a service we were PATIENTLY waiting for. I didn't even bother purchasing any of the items in my cart as I could not justify paying for service I did not receive nor was forthcoming. Thank goodness for Amazon! read more

First and foremost, I will admit that I am not a Home Depot customer...I much rather go to Lowes. But today I needed something quick and Home Depot was directly across the street from where I was. I needed a lanyard that I could attach ID card and access cards and then extend them to open gates. I asked the gentleman at the door and he directed me to the key section which made sense. Once there, I could not find the product I was looking for. I asked a second employee and he had no clue as to what I was talking about. I then responded to the customer service desk and spoke to a very disinterested young lady who had no urgency to assist me at all. When I described the product I was looking for, her prompt reply was "we don't carry it." She did not offer to look in the computer to see if it was carried or not. As I left the store, I spoke to the original individual who had greeted me at the door and told him that this is the reason why I shop at Lowes. Home Depot employees, with the exception of the greeter, are rude and not interested in assisting you. This experience reiterates my believe that Lowes is a much better place to spend my hard earn money at. read more

I called Home Depot 2 weeks ago because it showed somebody tried to change my mailing address. I was told they would send me a new card, I explain that I am doing a project in my house and I am constantly making purchases. I called because I needed to make additional purchase and no card as of today 10/7/15. I was transferred to fraud dept. After waiting on the phone for 14 minutes finally somebody came on and she told me I am to wait another 4 days before I can request another card because they mailed on September 30, 2015. I told her that I need to make much more purchases and I had several items in the shopping cart. Again I was told I had to wait. I said the last purchase I made of almost $700.00 I have not used and I had the Lowes card that if I could not get help and solve this problem now I would return my purchases at home. I have yet to use with about $1000.00 worth. She said there was nothing to be done and I had to wait more time. I requested to speak to a supervisor, Lorie ID# XDU from Jacksonville, Florida she said the same thing I had to wait more time and it not after 10 days to call back for another car request once again. I told her the same thing as for the purchase and having the same exact deal from Lowes store and she said nothing to it, just that I needed to wait more time once again.
