For being a Home Depot on the edge of Hialeah / Brownsville / Allapattah - its definately an "OK" store! The staff are helpful - as most Home Depot employees are and they all speak English. This store has bad customer service the ASM (Assistant Store Manager) on Wednesday Dec 12th 2018 whom I spoke with lack people skills was unfriendly and unapologetic. I was following up on my refund check which I still don't understand why I was issued a refund check when I paid cash. I had to return appliances that did not fit on a house I just purchased. The sales rep in appliances was awesome which, is why I ordered new appliances which was over $2,000 dollars however; I was told my return purchase if $3,961.85 will be mailed to my address in 21 days. The sales rep stated this was a corporate policy and nothing she could do. Due to my busy schedule I did not have time to deal with this issue at the time. A few days later I had my sister call the corporate 1-800-466-3337 customer service number which is another joke. You can select zero to get a rep it's extremely frustrating to get a comment associate to assist and to attempt to CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMER. This was my first and last experience of doing business with The Home Depot is not my go to store for any major projects. No compassion or offering of trying to make it right has left a lasting impression. read more

Home Depot always pales in comparison to Lowe's. The person that helped me here was friendly, so kudos to him, but I ended up leaving and going to Lowe's because they didn't carry what I needed, and Lowe's did. Out of all of the Home Depot locations around here, this one is the nicest, so three stars for that. read more

If you need to pick something up quickly this is the Home Depot to go to. It's in the middle of nowhere so it basically has no customer's in it. It's the strangest location but it works for the locals. There Floor personnel are not the friendliest bunch but if you don't have to ask any questions or ask for help, this is the place. Having difficulty measuring for 13 steps cut to a 28" runner, bounded on both side and a small landing was a challenge for this carpet department. The store sent out a person to measure the area who stated he only can take measures and would not listen to what we were looking to accomplish. I was told to take it up with the store. After two trips to talk about the email quote, and having 2 measure appointments, I really thought we resolved the issue of how much carpet was needed. Well, we had a 7'x 10' area rug left over. Why so much? It's crazy we had to pay for so much waste. The installers did a nice job of installing the runner in the style requested, hollywood. They were very kind and on time. When I went to the store to ask why so much waste, I was told that's just how it had to be. When I asked about leftover padding, I was told you have to ask for it. Why? I paid for it. It should be delivered tomorrow. Try a real carpet company next time. NOT worth the hassle. read more

This Homedepot has excellent service within the store for sure. Many of the cashiers are excellent as well. But my experience today, especially on my birthday with a cashier was horrible. While coming up to the registers with over 600 dollars or more of merchandise, my grandfather who is on a wheelchair and wears an oxygen mask and serverd in the military, tells me he left his id at home. While looking for a cashier I asked the lady who was working on lane #7 and elder white lady if she was open as she was not even standing by her register. She said yes on 7. I asked her, if my grandfather forgot his military ID but other cashiers have seen it before and can attest to it, can u give him his discount? She disgustingly said no I won't honor him any discounts at all. I said ok. Her attitude and gestures were so grotesque that I decided to go to another register. The lines were long and then I asked her again, are u open still on 7, she turned and grossly says to me, yes I am open but I'm not giving up any discounts. I said I'm not asking u to give me anything, I want to checkout and pay. As I walked to her register, she turned the light off and walked away on me and my poor grandfather. Then she calls a supervisor undercover (well trying anyhow) and points at me in my face and says "she is the one who is trying to get a free discount" as is i didnt see or hear her, the supervisor followed me the whole time while checking out as if I was trying to get away with something. Really??? I went to her and explained the situation, and she still did not even have the decency to ask me anything or apologize, she just said, okay whatever and shrugged her head. WOW is all I can say. So dissapointed by this, that I may just start shopping at lowes for a better experience and pay higher prices if it kills me. We left feeling very disgusted and by the way, we paid a full almost 700 dollars lady even though my grandfather and uncle fought for u to stand around and critique people. Thanks a lot.
