Every time I go there the employees try hard as possible to not makes eye contact. They literally look away or pretend to be working. If you ask them for help they sound like you are bothering them. I am writing this review cause after my 7th visit this week. I walked around for an hour+ trying to find someone to help me with a purchase of wood. No one not once came up to me to see if I needed help. ( mind I tell you it was extremely slow) when I finally sternly asked for help they told me to go to another store. I asked them a question where something else was and the guy just pointed in a general direction like it's over there. THE REASON IM ASKING YOU IS BECAUSE I OBVIOUSLY JUST CHECKED THERE and it's not there. read more

They watch you wander around trying to find an item and never offer to help you. If it says limited stock on their website and you wander aimlessly to find it, they are really out of the item. Home depot is the primary seller of ryobi tools. I was a big fan until they started breaking. That's when you find out that the ryobi warranty is crap. Home depot does not repair or replace ryobi tools. You have to find an authorized ryobi repair service. They are generally small fix it places located anywhere within a few hundred miles of where you bought the tools. In my case about 40 miles each way. And prepare to wait 6 months to a year for the repair. I had to wait 6 months for my lawnmower and now it's half as powerful as it used to be. My saw has been there 4 months and they said to expect it to take about a year. The repair guy said they were dropping ryobi next month because it takes months to get parts, they have to pay for the parts in advance and wait to be reimbursed and then ryobi pays them $20 for doing the repair. So yes, they have a 5 year warranty but be prepared. It may take 5 years to get your tool back . read more

Soooo today was pretty crazy day and of all days I had to stop by Home Depot. This Home Depot literally down the street from me so of course it's convenient. Anyway, I couldn't make up my mind on a particular item and Cali was there to help. She went over and beyond, literally waited patiently for me to make up my mind. I was so pleased on how clean the store were and also how satisfied I was with my service, I had to speak with the store manager Eric. Eric was pleasant and easy to talk too and even thanked me for voicing my experience. Thanks guys I'll definitely return. read more

Some of the employees are very helpful while some are just downright rude. This is a normal Home Depot store. If not dealing with contracting here I would give it four stars but.....do NOT use the contractors from this store EXCEPT doors and windows. Those guys are amazing. Every other contractor will overprice every job. I'm talking countertops, floors, bathrooms, tiles. All over priced contracting. Their contractor quoted me 8700$ for a tile shower. Unbelievable. 6000$ to put a vinyl shower back in. This store is good but there needs to be a service revamp of the contracting department. read more

As a child, my Dad would take me with him to the Home Depot every Saturday morning. I have fond memories of being dragged around the power tools and being quizzed in the drill bit area. At age 9 I knew the difference between Dewalt and Ryobi, I could break down measurements in my head and I saw the magic in what a single piece of wood could some day be. Even now as an adult, I treasure the moments I had with my Dad and smile whenever I walk in to the Home Depot today. Lowe's may be right across the street like some school yard bully. They may try to compete with the ambience of Home Depot and their prices but nothing says home improvement like an orange apron and a smile. read more

This is by far thee worst Home Depot in Atlanta. Everytime i come here there's a problem especially from Kasha the sales associate that like to play a Manager!! (HAVE SEVERAL SEATS AMATEUR) SHE NEEDS TO BE FIRED she also lies to the manager about the itemes being used when you can clearly see that they are in their original packaging. These people won't do a store credit without a receipt ON ITEMS THAT ARE STILL IN THEIR SEALED PACKAGE !!!!! Isn't that the whole purpose of a store credit?? if you don't have your receipt. .. This is crazy to me. Out of all days that i have returned items to this location without a receipt, they wanna act brand new. I will most definitely reaching out to the VP and regional manager for this particular store. And i hope they take their views seriously. Don't visit here!!! read more

Worst HD I've ever been to. None of the store associates were willing to help, they just kept passing my question on to the next associate. After walking around, I see an associate walking my way. I guess she saw me looking towards her for help so she turned around and walked the other way. Once I circled the store 2 times, I decided to leave because Id been directed to 2 completely different areas of the store, only to NOT find what I needed. I will stick with my neighborhood HD, where they actually help me find what I'm looking for. read more

Went by to get some paint and keys copied. The paint guy was very helpful and even had to get some rolling stairs to reach the paint I was looking for. The key was also helpful and made the copies very quickly. Both employees were pleasant and courteous. read more

Went online & ordered 2 floor lamps from Home Depot, very easy experience & received e-mail that order was accepted with follow-up the next morning that they were ready for pick-up. Proceeded to the Home Depot in Kennesaw off Roberts Ct to pickup. Went to online pickup counter & advised Lexi I was there to pickup an online order for 2 LED floor lamps from the night before & gave her my last name, she advised me she could not look it up by name, she had to have the order#. Well having left my phone in the truck because the battery was nearly dead I walked across the store to the exit (Wuhan Flu restrictions in place) went out to the truck & back to the counter to provide Lexi with the order# (distance travelled about 200m), she turns around & plucks the 2 boxes from a cabinet 10-12' behind her & hands them over after asking to see a driver's license. 1) My last name is not enough to confirm an order but ID showing who I am is required? 2) Matching packages plainly labelled as to what they contain & which match my description 3) Both boxes also had labels on them with my last name in 1" tall print & the order numbers This points out poor management! A properly trained employee would of known that the package for pickup had both the order# & customer name on it & I would have been able to complete the transaction on my 1st trip to the counter. read more

Very rude staff. We shop there all the time, and wanted to have my son's bday party there since he had attended one a year and a half ago and loved it. I called there and spoke with one of the manager's who said to contact Joanna who would coordinate with me. Finally spoke with her after multiple calls, and she said she would call me back and never did. Followed up 2 weeks later, and spoke with a very rude manager Jim who had no customer service skills at all and was very rude. We will not be shopping here any more read more

I have tried to use this location several times but each time I come in almost feel like I'm doing something wrong by the way the people treat you inside. Seems to me they have a bad management problem because everyone that works there looks like they are annoyed when I did ask someone for help they told me what you want and seemed annoyed I was interrupting their conversation. On my last visit also was shopping in an area where 3 to 4 employees were standing around complaining and gossiping about other employees which was totally unprofessional. Even worse they did not even stop when they saw me standing in the area 5 feet away. Because it seems to be all over the entire store I would think it was a management issue. read more

Been doing some home improvement projects lately so I've been to a few different Home Depot and Lowes locations in the area. This was the worst by far. The only employees in the store were by the register and when asked for help they seemed uninterested in helping me. I literally wandered the store without finding any assistance for over 15 minutes. Do not buy Ryobi gdo camera. Serious problems with firmware. It doesn't work and Ryobi knows it. But they continue to sell them knowing it doesn't work. Ryobi says it will be fixed next week but I'm not sure which year next week will be. I have been told next for 6 weeks now. Do not waste your money on this poor quality. I suggest lorex. read more

Worst experience ever and you should avoid this store at all cost. Cashier Dominique processed my return on my Ryobi Impact driver and assured me I would get my refund in 3-5 days. Well she managed to find the WRONG order and credit card to charge the payment back to! I called the store after not receiving my refund and in short, they told me I had to come in. I come to the store and speak with Supervisor/ Manager J.C. who basically told me nothing could be done for me since the refund had already been processed! I was out my returned product and the money! Straight robbery! Do not trust these people! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER, and I am a loyal Home Depot customer who spends money regularly with the company. You can find better customer service elsewhere. read more

I recently went to this Home Depot because I found what I wanted online and online it said that this store had several of these items. I got to the section where this item was supposedly located and couldn't find it. An employee promptly asked me what I was looking for. She used her device and saw that there were several of these items on the shelf. However, after looking, we still couldn't find it. She told me that she was going to get help and that she'd be right back. After waiting 5 to 10 minutes, I started looking for the employee. I couldn't find her. On my way to check out without that item, I saw that employee helping someone else. If you do not know the answers to my questions please do not waste my time by telling me that you're going to find help. read more

I went to get my locks rekeyed here. First I went to the Lindbergh store and the employee there was very customer service friendly, talked me through everything on rekeying and said all I needed to do was ask my local store. I just moved to Kennesaw and this was close. I saw some of the reviews of rude customer service but I called twice to make sure that they could rekey my locks and both times I got no push back. Today, while I had the day off I thought I would come by. I called to make sure someone was there. I came in and immediately got an attitude with the first employee I asked. He couldn't understand what wanted and started arguing with me about needing the new key like why did you come by to bother us today? I asked them if I could speak to the man on the phone. He showed up and said it's ok I can give you the new key. I told him my complaint about the first guy and he proceeded to continue stating there is no point in him rekeying my door locks if they are old. I said it does not matter, I'd still like it rekeyed. He came back to me 5 min later stating they are in bad shape, don't I just want to get a new set of locks and door knobs for the 3 I gave him? At this point I was really annoyed and said no, please just rekey them. I told my boyfriend what had transpired and he came up to the guy and all he said was the knobs were rusty. We left, and by the time I came back, he had put my items at customer service and walked right past me without a single glance. Overall I did not like this experience and am thinking of driving 30 minutes to go to another store who treats their customers better for this type of service. read more

Ryobi specific: bought a ryobi weed trimmer. What a waste of money. It's been one year and I can't use. The cord gets sucked back in after 5 seconds every time. Took it back, they replaced the head. We went through how to load the cord in case I was doing it wrong. Good there. Same problem. Never buying Ryobi products again! read more
