He boldly told me, that he is new at the service desk and doesn't know the procedures. When I asked to speak with a manager, he ignored me!!! So I asked a second time and made him write down the name and number. Shame on you Home Depot, for employing such rude, condescending and untrained personnel, especially at your service desk. It's a pretty good HD, however, why put military parking close to a door where there is no cashiers? You can get in fast, but have to walk (in snow?) for the length of the store to get out with your purchases. In my experience, this is a rare HD that does this. My husband bought me a grill for mother's day, the associate proceeded to tell my husband to take the one from the floor but we got it home and it was missing 6bolts lol. When we came to return the item another customer proceeded to get involved in our return to the point of her husband assaulting mine, and the police came and refused to review the footage. There is a good selection of quality products. I like that I can search the in-store inventory from home. However, the knowledge and helpfulness of the employees is lacking. I choose to shop here because it's much closer to me than Diamond Hardware. More often than not, I have to delay my project for a week or more due to this Home Depot not having what I need when I need it. I hate ordering online, but I'm to a point that I'm going to start so I know I have everything I need. This last trip sold the butane soldering torch I wanted, but had no butane to fill it. I would think this would be obvious...to keep enough butane around for the torches you have and the refills you sell. Order 22 cabinets from Home Depot on March 19 of 2021 and we have not received all of our cabinets. It has been 8 weeks and we.are still waiting. 4 cabinets were damaged and had to reorder the cabinets again and we have to wait another 3 weeks plus we are hanging cabinets that had minor damage to them. Went to store to buy some pavers. Asked one of the employees how to receive a veterans discount. I said that I had my DD 214 and was told to show that at checkout. When I checked out the clerk told me that was not proof of my service. A DD 214 was only accepted a couple of times a year. I ordered windows for my home, from Home Depot, in August 2023. I'm a fully disabled vet and cannot do much in the way of physical labor. I told the sales rep up front of this. I liked the windows and the price. The sales rep had walked around the house to inspect the windows before we spoke. He waited until AFTER the contract was signed and the finance was done then, tells me I have to remove the trim work. Isn't that part of a window install job? Or, am I mistaken? The rep insisted I had to remove the trim. How am I supposed to do that in my condition? Also, if I had removed the trim work, the house would be sitting with exposed wood and the cold wind blowing into the house for 4 months. As it is, I'm paying upwards of $300 a month for electricity to heat the house while waiting for the install. I made the mistake of paying for the complete job up front. Bad move. The rep came back and made a addendum to the contract adding another $2169.00 to remove the trim work and replace it. The windows were built and ready to be installed the first part of November. Home Depot called to set up an install date for Monday, Nov 13th. Called Friday to say the installer had a family emergency. Understandable, to a point. Set the appointment for Nov 21st. Called again on Monday, Nov 28th with another excuse the Home Depot manager had a meeting to go to. Who cares? He's not necessary to install the windows Set the appointment for Dec 5th. Home Depot called again stating one of the workers did not have a certificate. What certificate? I asked then, he's not qualified? Woman on the phone says, oh, he is. Then, why the need for a certificate? Looked up any form of a certificate needed for a worker to install windows in the sate of Oregon and Klamath County. I could find no such need. The weather was more than acceptable on all these dates. Dec 5th it in the low 50's as an example. I'm getting the run around and out $7696.98 at this point. I still owe the $2169.00 when completed. It maybe time for ligation. Only thing these corporations understand is money. If they can get yours without a fight they'll gladly take it and, think nothing of it. I've even called the finance company to no avail. Do not deal with this company as a veteran. read more

I have mixed feelings about this store, based on customer service interactions. Here's the main idea: disorganized chain of authority when delivery is the issue, unprofessional customer service reps until you reach the golden goose: Gabe. Full story below, bad to good... BAD: I had a problem with the delivery of a washer/dryer. The delivery company used by Home Depot came all the way from Medford to KF without their tools, so they couldn't hook up the units. Suuuuuuuper inconvenient and unprofessional. The delivery guys said they would put in a work order to have someone come out and finish the job, but after 24hrs without followup, I had to call them. I was bounced around to no less than 5 different people/places. Near then end of the line I was connected with a woman in the appliance department at the KF Home Depot. In the middle of my explanation of the problem she stopped listening and started talking over me. I said, "Excuse me, I'm not finished speaking," to which she replied, "I'll connect you with a manager," and abruptly transferred me to yet another person. I wish I remembered her name so I could recommend that she receive extensive customer service training before being allowed to speak to people again. The manager referred me to the delivery company, who scheduled the followup work order for a date when I would be UNAVAILABLE, and they recommended that I call Home Depot again to have them expedite the work order. So I contacted Ms. Zero Customer Service Skills at Home Depot again and finally, I was put in touch with Gabe... GOOD: After speaking with Gabe, the issue was resolved expediently. Gabe was very helpful and kind. I would nominate him for employee of the month for sure. He listened patiently to the issue at hand, repeated it back for clarity, and made the necessary phone calls to expedite the work order. He even checked in with me to let me know his progress on the issue. Thank you, Gabe, for your professionalism and follow through. read more

I wish I could sky write how terrible this store is!! I went in For a screen door handle striker. The woman working in the isle told me I'd need to buy a complete new handle system for my screen door they don't sell parts. I know this is not true so I continued to search the isle. The HOme Depot employee hands me a window lock and says "here ya go". I walk to the end of the isle and there is an entire section of just screen door parts. So I picked up the striker and went back to the employee and handed her the window lock. I told her this is a window lock, this is a screen door striker. I then went to check out. There was not one checker. Self check was a no go because it would not take cash. I finally went to the pro center and asked if they would please take my cash. I'm Driving the 14 miles to Merrill where there is a ace hardware. I'm sure they want my business. read more

There is a decent selection of plants at this location, and they keep the plants pretty fresh and healthy. If you know what you are looking for it's an okay place to stop, but I suggest doing some research ahead of time if you have any questions, as the staff do not seem very knowledgeable about the types of plants they offer, planting seasons or care tips. Example: I was looking for a plant to give a student of mine and asked what plants grow well and are easy to care for in this area (I am from out of state and not aquatinted with this climate). The staff suggested I go to Michaels and buy fake plants ;p When I asked for a real recommendation they suggested orchids, which are not easy for an inexperienced plant owner. Example 2: I asked if they had an indoor plant section, and was told, "I don't know. I don't think so, but then again, any plant can be an indoor plant- you just have to replace it when it dies." ... read more

Before I started my job here my family and I always shopped here and still do for both the business and for the house. They always have what we need and if not they can get it in a timely manner delivered and the customer service is really nice and knowledgeable if you don't ask stupid questions like will this curtain rod fit my window in my house and the customers answer to well what's the measurements? they say "it's big" (actual conversation). That's one of the reasons why I went to get a job here is they treat people with respect and treat them right and are willing to go the extra mile for the customers. While yes the special order appliances and windows are taking a little longer than normal to get it's a mixture between COVID and the vendors schedule. I've seen the managers here break their backs for the customers. to please them. I just bought a home in Oregon (I'm from CA). This was my first time shopping at this location. The customer service at this store is A+ (compared to Ca) Everyone I came in contact with was friendly and wanting to help. My only gripe, and the reason I'm giving four, instead of five, stars is that they were VERY understaffed. I had to return something and stood in the return line for about 45 minutes. Only one person behind the counter. I also bought a washer and dryer and had to wait about 45 minutes before my turn. Once again, only one person in that department. Even though the staff was stressed and working their tails off, they all seemed to keep their composure and were SUPER friendly and knowledgeable and I genuinely enjoyed dealing with them. read more

Store is fine, typical big box nobody around when you need the help. Big issue is the kitchen design department. We did a complete remodel on our kitchen. We have never done this before. Lady says no problem that's what I am here for. Cabinets show up two weeks late. Cabinet company gave us 1% back for being late. That's ok. Installing cabinets with a soffit and the high end trim we bought to match up soffit and cupboard doesn't fit. The designer didn't include the additional 1 inch needed!!! They had our plans that included elevations and the soffit. Can't lower the cabinets because we have sections that are full length. Nearly $700 down the drain in crown moulding. I went back to talk to design and her exact words were "will when the person across the counter had no clue about cabinets this doesn't help." This is my wife she was talking about and she new we haven't done this before. Unbelievable. The customer service of the design kitchen department in Klamath falls sucks. Spent 16k on cabinets and they will look unfinished until I work with the cabinet company to figure something out for trim. So much more to do on the house and nothing will be bought from The Home Depot. read more

Where to start? How about a big fat "0" for a customer service rating. The clerk seemed very disinterested in helping provide me with help to load up foundation blocks and worse he pushed the cart short of the doors and said, "I'm not a loader." My Bad, the loader was at lunch. Well if the truth be known this Home Depot has a bad reputation amongst the locals here in Klamath Falls and for whatever the reasons may be I suspect there have been other customer service related complaints. I have bought many things here for my home renovation, which includes new flooring, paint, and kitchen appliances. So far i have gotten good service. They kept me up to date on when my appliances came in, the flooring was before their estimated time of arrival, and the cashiers always offer help with loading when I was alone with my daughter. Some of the appliances and in damaged but they called immediately and asked if we still wanted them and ordered new ones if they were too damaged. Also home delivery was quick (next day) and they were very friendly. read more

We recently did a complete kitchen remodel and spent over $20K for cabinets, flooring, countertops, paint, etc. We set up a home depot credit card in order to get the discounts for our large purchases. Our so-called kitchen designer messed up the first order totally-she charged the entire amount to our Visa card instead of our home depot card! I spent 5 hours at the store trying to get her to fix the issue. When the cabinets arrived, we were short some. Lo and behold, there was another pallet at the store that didn't get checked. The countertop we ordered was quartz. We had ordered a chisled edge. When the representative from Precision Countertops came to do the template for the countertops he advised us we could not get a chiseld edge on quartz-a glass product that would break if it were done. I was also charged for an undermount kitchen sink install by the countertop installers- I was advised by our template guy that they do not install farmhouse sinks. Both of these facts should have been known by the "kitchen designer" at Home depot. So, we had to change our order to a granite countertop in order to get the chisled edge we wanted. Luckily the granite was on "special", and cost a bit less than the quartz. Also the square footage was less than she originally estimated..However, she did not delete the $250 charge for the sink install. Yesterday she called saying we owe an additional $700+ due to some "changes" she needed to make to our order. The only change to be made was that we added rounded corners-that we discussed with the countertop rep. Max charge should only be apx $480. The gal at Home Depot always has an excuse as to why she has issues..."computer is messed up", "due to being extremely busy, I haven't checked my email in days", and on & on. I won' be doing much with Home Depot in Klamath Falls anymore...I'm done. read more

No stars is unfortunately not an option!! The worst experience I have ever had at a Home Depot!!!!!!. I called the Pro Desk to place an order for future pickup. After a half hour of phone tag trying to talk with someone I get to talk with a "Pro". HA!!! he said he would put together my order then call me back. Never called back. I go through the phone tag AGAIN! and the same thing happens, they never call back. I try one more time and finally they call me back. I paid for my order in full and told them when I wanted to pick up my order. I was told that would be fine but I needed to call them 24 hours before pickup so it could be pulled. I decided to stop by in person 24 hours before so I could confirm my order. I was told it would be ready for pickup the next day at noon. I show up the next day and nothing was pulled at all!!! They tell me they need another 45 min to pull the order. I wait and hour and a half. They still don't have my order ready, then they tell me some items are no longer in stock. I ask how this could be considering I already paid for the items. After trying to figure out replacement items to do the same job, witch was frustrating I was told my order was ready. Some guy was told to help me with it. He was rude and mad he had to help me. As i'm going through my order I find the metal roofing they tried to sell me was almost all bent and unusable. They forgot to get over 300 dollars worth of insulation. Eventually I end up having to pick the things they forgot because the guy who was suppose to help me just walked away. The final thing, I was left to load this huge order all by my self. No help at all!!!!! Avoid this Home Depot!!! read more

I have never been unhappy with Home Depot until today. For years it's been nothing but fantastic customer service, but today was flat about abysmal. We went through the self check out about 1:30-2pm where the attendant, a much older lady with white blond hair and glasses, thought that it was acceptable to not only kiss my baby's hand despite my attempts to move it out of her way without causing a scene, but to chastise my baby who started crying at an unwanted strangers touch. I don't know where she thought it was acceptable to touch, let alone kiss a strange baby, but she crossed several lines. But my nine month old is sobbing from stranger danger and all this woman can do is look at her and tell her that it's her own fault, that she has no business crying because she reached for her. I had to walk away because I was not going to be polite. There's plenty of other home repair and maintenance stores in town and while we're just one set of customers, if this is what I can expect, then we will not be returning. read more

Most disappointing experience today in the appliance department. We had to ask another employee to page someone to the appliance department as we walked around for 30 minutes and no one was around to ask question. When she (Kim) arrived she approached us with a short snotty attitude. Only 3 washing machines on display were in stock and of course they were the most expensive models. Needless to say we went down the street to Sears and got a nice new washing machine and the customers service there was welcoming and helpful. read more
