Today we came in for the free kids workshop and today's project was a fire works bean bag toss game. Anyone can sign up for free and the kids get to use hands-on skills with hammers, screwdrivers, nails, and paint to create their own little project. this store will process a refund on a $900 item without the account holder present and without obtaining the item, or the person who's name is on the card without consent. Their repair service is the biggest joke. They carries and are partners with Ryobi tools. My 40V trimmer went out a month ago and their Home Depot repair service wants to charge me 250.00 to fix their 129.99 Ryobi trimmer and blame me for overloading their 40V electric trimmer. It's March 15th of 2022 and grass beginning to grow, OVERLOAD what? It's a non adjustable battery powered trimmer moron. It's still under the Ryobi 5 years bogus warranty. There is no such thing of overloading a battery powered trimmer. Unless Home Depot employ morons as their repair technician to frustrate consumers so they can go away or something. Avoid Home Depot repair facilities at all cost. I got all proofs from original date of purchase to the date of repair estimate. I bought flooring at the Home Depot in rock hill - they didn't have enough so they called the Lancaster store and they had the boxes I needed - I get there to find the price is 2.00 a sq ft more so I would pay 500.00 more for less boxes that I had just purchased - I spoke to the shift manager who could have cared less to even talk to me - so I spoke to the general manager who also couldn't be bothered to even try to meet me in the middle - when asked how they can charge more at one store than another I was told they can do what they want. As we left the store I heard the manager say "stupid white people" I will never step foot in a Home Depot again - very poor customer service and racist also !! read more

We went in for a few items and they had the Milwaukee Vacuum I was looking for. They didn't know how to match the Home Depot price. The manager finally said to match the price. The incompetent cashier I was dealing with said she wasn't going to do it because she got off at 4. Left without the vacuum and another reason to never shop the Lancaster Home Depot. When you hear 2 employees talking about paying for sex an aisle over, it makes you wonder why these employees are still working there. I heard an inappropriate conversation an isle over from me, looked around the corner and sure enough it was two employees talking. I had walked around the store to try and get there names to inform the manager. I got one employees name, her apron said Whitney, she was on the chunky side with blonde hair, Incase it wasn't her apron, but I couldn't find the other employee. I informed the manager of these inappropriate conversations but he like blew it off. What kind of Home Depot is this? Maybe it was his girlfriend? I couldn't even get any of the employees to help me. I needed sand for my pool I come in ask the cashier to call for help she told me no. I was POed so I got a ladder climbed up got the sand proceed to self check out paid told the cashier what happened a manager came over I explained once again and she was going to give me a 50% discount but I have already paid. She took my receipt had a worker load my car came back and put the entire balance back on my card. Wow I said you didn't have to do that she said that is not how we like to treat our customers it will be dealt with. I love Home Depot!!!!! read more

We bought a lot of stuff for our new construction home. Flooring, lights, blinds and etc. Then we ordered appliances. We bought a washer, dryer, stove, dishwasher, microwave and refrigerator. They were supposed to deliver on Tuesday 1/29. We called the Friday before and told them the weather was calling for rain and they assured us rain we be no problem, then couldn't deliver because of rain. They rescheduled for Saturday 2/2, and called on 2/1 Friday and scheduled between 1-5 pm with a phone call 30 minutes before arriving. Saturday at 4:45 we called because we hadn't heard anything and they informed us they were running late and could deliver up to 8, they never showed. Sunday we called to be told that the truck broke down. Delivery was set for Tuesday 2/5, with 30 minutes notice. They called with a 5 minute notice and then refused to take the refrigerator in the house because there wasn't a sidewalk. We asked why we weren't told that the other trip out, and the delivery man stated he wasn't the one who came. My builder told them, his guys would move it. They left it in the garage, wrapped in shipping film. So today we unwrapped it to find 3 dents. I have already complained to Home Depot about there service, and was given an apology. So I've wasted 2 days waiting, and have a dented fridge after all the money I've spent with them. My advice, if your hunting appliances go somewhere else. Don't depend on Home Depots subcontractor services that Home Depot will then tell you they can't control, and won't stand behind. Chuck Payne read more

Every time I go in here all the employees are worried about chit-chatting with each other versus helping customers. I almost feel like I am interrupting their conversation when I need some advice.
