I ordered some moving boxes online to be picked up at the store. I parked in the designated area went to the email I had received checked in and employees brought out what I had order within about 10 minutes. The Box that the contents were in was damaged and ripped open during shipping. This has happened a few times with home depot and their shipping companies not taking care of items that are shipped to the store Or home. read more

Every time I shop here the store is clean and the staff is friendly. They always offer a helping hand when needed even if you didn't seek them out to ask for assistance. One of my favorite Home Depot's I've been to so far. read more

I'm highly frustrated, probably made my last purchase there. We had a new refrigerator, stove and microwave delivered on June 14th and now it's June 16th and we still haven't seen our first ice cube, it puts out cold water but no cubes. Called the manager and he basically brushed me off saying that there is no replacement available, and if I were to return it there would be a restocking fee. The best they will do is have someone come out and check it out on June 28th. Is this good customer service? I'm thinking not. read more

I go to Home Depot quite frequently. Today I was treated extremely bad for picking up a complimentary mask from the self checkout. They were stuck together and as I was pulling one apart from the bunch the self check out employee snapped at me, saying" only grab one!" I responded saying "they are stuck together, that is what I'm trying to do" she turned her head and mumbled an obscenity toward me, she could have at least waited to see how many I was going to grab before judging me as someone who can't follow rules.I grabbed my items and as I was leaving she was gossiping with another employee about me. I have never, ever been treated so badly at a Home Depot in my life , like I was today. Situations like this make me not want to return to the store again. read more

Price matching is convenient Find associate Louis Chaves if he is in that day because he is a solid teacher with great experience and clearly should be higher up at this location. The greeter told me to go to each departments' associate in order to locate the many tools I needed but Mr. Chaves ran me through the depot and had me out the door swift with all the knowhow needed. read more

I really would avoid using Home Depot and their contracted company Home Solutions for flooring. We needed our whole house recarpeted and tiled and went to Home Depot(thinking it should be easy enough). They scheduled us to have the carpet done first, and afterwards, when we got the tile put in it we discovered the carpet was installed in a crooked line. Both companies refuse to fix it or take any responsibility, saying that happened because the tile should have gone in first. Home Depot scheduled it that way!! So now, we are stuck with it until we can afford to have someone else install new carpet correctly. Very disappointing. read more

I went in the evening to look at paint samples and ask Yvonne at the paint counter about there paint guarantee. She starts right off the bat of "I won't do it, you can see the samples and you should know what you want before buying paint." and continued on "that's a big waste of paint and it would go under my name and I just refuse to do it" I ask "what do you mean it's a big waste of paint? How much do you have to buy?". Yvonne said after " a gallon would be a waste of paint and money and I just won't do it, if your not sure of what you want". I understand stupid customers and stupid questions and at the end of your shift. But she didn't have to be rude about it. She could have gone about it in a different way, of can I suggest a small paint sample to try out instead. It just baffles me how rude someone can get over a question and not care. read more

We went shopping for tile on a bathroom renovation for home. While shopping we got a few employees to help us look for tile and prices. We had questions on tile since it was showing 2 separate prices. The employee was kind enough to say he would make sure he would price match it with out us even asking for it. We were told to go to the cash register, and he would talk to a manager to approve the price matching. This short man then came up behind us and started to go through the tile with another employee , then finding out he was an employee as well but he had no sign that he was an employee. His name was Brian , supposedly a Manager on Duty. He didn't look like he was on duty since he was checking out and purchasing something before he approached us. He approached us very combative and violent as if we were steeling ?! He was the most unprofessional worker there and didn't even have a mask! I will be reporting him to corporate. Never coming to this Home Depot again. Joke of a "manager" needs training and how to talk and educate him self on basic customer service read more

I purchased an item at Home Depot yesterday in the "clearance" section with lots of signs around it saying clearance. When I was at check out I ask what the original price was. No one could give me that information. I then went home and checked on the Internet on Home Depot's site and found the same item at the same price as in the clearance section at Home Depot. In other words, the item was not discounted or at a lower price. I went back to the store and was told that the vendor ask that the item be put in the clearance section as they wanted to "clear out" their stock of that item in the store. Home Depot said they had nothing to do with it. It all sounded like an incredibly run around to me. I'm listing this post to let people know that just because an item is in the clearance section they should not assume that it is at a reduced price. (Unless of course the Original price is shown along with the reduced price. I think this all borders on false advertising To make customers think that they're getting a deal when they are not. read more

April 2016--Shopped here again with dh. Never go at this time because it is busy. What a difference! There was a cashier named James who was eager to help and check us out! Impressed!!! Still didn't see workers in the aisles ready to help, but I appreciate not having to be cashier! Good job Home Depot. I do not shop here much because I get agitated. When needing help, there is always no one around. I swear the employees hide. When checkout time comes I get to do the self checkout. The machines are slow and the person who should be there to make sure there are no problems suddenly disappears. I have left items on the register, walked out, found the same things at Lowe's in addition to a happy cashier who takes my money! I like this. Employees working! Imagine that. Dh on the other hand likes this place. Thus two stars. He likes that no one is there to help, he knows what he needs and doesn't want to be bugged. He also likes to be his own cashier. He tells me I mess up the machine because I want it to work fast (isn't that the point of self checkout?) He does everything slow and the machine likes that. Again he doesn't want chit chat just wants to pay. So if you know what you want, where it is located, and like a slow self checkout process this is the store for you. Everyone else who wants customer service... Lowe's is next door! I suggest going next door. read more

I bought paint for the exterior of my house and hired someone to paint it. When I got home, the color was nowhere near what I had chosen. I took the remainder back to Home Depot to show them how far off this paint was. They agreed and I got a refund but ya know....I still had to pay the painter. I stood there for an hour trying to get a match to a card that was from Home Depot and said Home Depot on the back. NO LUCK, they couldn't match it. I went to Ace - no problem. And this is the last of many problems I have had with Home Depot (in Los Lunas) because I'm NEVER going back. read more

I would leave no stars if I could! Two years ago we bought windows and TRIED to buy a French door for our home. The Home Depot in Los Lunas, NM came out and installed the windows and fixed them THREE TO FOUR different times but they still aren't right. They installed a French door TWICE before they gave us the excuse that it was a defect with the door even though we tried doors from two different companies. In the end they stuck us with a sliding door that has done nothing but leak and cause water damage! We have been calling and tryin to get this fixed for two years now. We have talked to managers, regional managers, their bosses, etc and STILL this is t taken care of! This latest time we have been trying to get people to call us back for almost two months now but no one can be bothered. My husband calls weekly with no calls back or a call saying they will take care of it. And we hear nothing! At this point we are ready to call a lawyer to handle this since your company refuses to take care of it. Basically you got your money so now you don't care and that's unacceptable! We just want windows that are sealed and don't rattle and a back door that doesn't leak and destroy our floor. Why is that too much to ask? We will NEVER buy from Home Depot again and are sure to tell everyone we know not to have you install anything for them. We expected more from you. read more

This location has been a nightmare to work with. They are extremely incompetent and rude. I ordered very expensive blinds for my home and the entire process has been impossible. Getting them ordered took forever and I even had to speak with a manager for assistance just for the order. The manager was strange and interrupted me ever time I tried to speak from the minute we got on the phone. I never even got to express the entirety of my complaint To him due to the interruptions. The blinds took the full two weeks to come in but I was told that two weeks would also Include installation. I'm now being told I will have to wait up to 4 days just to get a call for scheduling from the people who will instal. I was also told last minute that the people who instal only instal in my area once a week. Therefore, the processes is much longer than two weeks. I still have not received a phone call for scheduling and I have no idea at this point how much longer it will be to have my blinds installed. They are Sitting in boxes in my garage. We already paid the installation fee as well. My husband and I have extremely demanding schedules and we want them installed correctly, which is why We elected to have them installed professionally vs on our own. These blinds were $2500.00, which for us, is not cheap. It sucks to get horrible service regardless but it stings even more when you pay a significant amount of money. I will never shop here again and we strongly discourage friends and family from shopping at this location (or any other location) in the future. read more

I went into Home Depot in Los Lunas and bought a new vanity cabinet and a new toilet. I showed the guy the ones I wanted and watched him load them on the cart. I asked him was he sure they were the right ones. I get them back to Socorro and guess what? The vanity cabinet is the wrong one and so is the toilet. Talk about disappointing. I guess you have to check and double check your order just like at McDonalds. read more

They messed up on several things and when I talked to the store manager Scott Wilhoite he didn't care. No customer service nor care. I have done business with HD in the past with okay satisfaction. However, recently I purchased laminate flooring from the Los Lunas N.M. Home Depot and was frankly shocked with an obviously padded estimate . After demanding and receiving a 1k deduction for frivolous "extras" I was satisfied to proceed. The next obstacle : Being leery of a request by HD to have my existing floor inspected for asbestos. I called a company recommended by HD and I was told since my home was built in 1999 the odds of having any asbestos present was "zero to none". I informed the salesperson in flooring of my call and there was no comment. I decided to ignore that obvious attempt at customer harassment as they knew when the home was built. I opted to drop the HD delivery because it added an additional charge for extra mileage, plus an additional charge for a carry in plus an additional charge for an extra person for carry in. (does that sound like padding ?) After setting a date for the install, I was informed via telephone call from a woman from HD that the installers would first come to see if the floor was level before proceeding. If it was not level the existing floor would need to be removed. Then, because laminate could not be installed over sub-flooring, I would be required to hire a contractor to install a suitable , acceptable floor before the installers could put down the laminate. WHY I asked ...Because "it is the HD rules we must comply with" None of this was making any sense to me and the woman speaking would not listen to reason. I realize that the floor needs to be level but that could be accomplished with a leveling compound applied to the floor. I don't claim to be an expert but I am not the village idiot either. I believe that because I am 77 years old the HD employees thought I would easily be duped. This is where I exploded and told HD that they should cancel the install and refund my install fee. There was a prolonged silence then and after several questions if I really wanted to cancel the install for sure, really, etc. ..... she realized I was serious and complied. A few minutes later she called again to say I would receive an amount that figured to be $27.00 less than the amount stated on my final bill.............which had been paid !!!! I objected vehemently that that refund was NOT acceptable and I expected a refund of the full amount stated on the bill that had been paid......according to HD RULES.!!! .... and furthermore rest assured that I will NEVER set foot in HD again. She made no reply so I hung up.... filled with anger, confusion and disgust. The treatment I was getting was abominable and I would not put up with it anymore. I hired my own installer for the job ........and now I do business with Lowes. Oddly enough, I was fore warned about doing business with HD by a contractor who said "They do not know what they are doing there". I had previously had no issues so I went ahead with HD much to my regret. I do not think my relating this experience to have much of an influence on the business of HD as they are next to the right hand of G-d but my close friends will not disregard my warning and Home Depot will lose a few good people. This forum is a good thing for folks like me. Don't go to Home Depot unless you are prepared for harassment. read more
