First, I want to start off by saying I ordered a Washer and Dryer from Home Depot that was delivered by Temco Logistics. The dryer after unpackaged was damaged and both Home Depot and Temco Logistics worked on a quick replacement. I ran into a very rude manager named Megan who I gave every opportunity to fix the situation. When she continued to be rude I contacted both Home Depot and Temco Logistics. I wrote a negative review on Yelp and Google about this experience. I should have waited and given both Home Depot and Temco Logistics an opportunity to fix it. I was amazed at how fast they resolved the issue and made sure I was treated with respect and put on priority status. A new dryer was delivered within days and first thing in the morning as I requested. I was contacted by multiple supervisors making sure our voices were heard and we were happy. Executive Senior Director Steven Ghodoussi was amazing at resolving the issue fast and ensuring that not just the rude employee but the department would be contacted and appropriate actions taken. Have good experiences in store, but NEVER do delivery. Scheduled delivery for washer/dryer. Delivery was scheduled from 3-7pm, notified us day before at 5:45pm. Which makes time off for homeowners incredibly difficult. They proceeded to mark delivery "failed with attempt to deliver" with a blacked out photo at 5:41pm, leaving no proof of attempt to delivery. This is a complete and utter lie, see next section. I was home all day, our ring camera shows no history of this "attempt" to deliver. Proceeded to call support and they could not provide any details except that it was rescheduled and they have no idea why. The tracker for delivery showed no details, changed 4 times, and ended up leaving it as "delayed." This is completely unacceptable and we are now left with our washer/dryer disconnected (because they require them to be upon arrival) and have to take another day off work as the new delivery is now 5 days later into another weekday. read more

No wonder this place has a low rating. 5 people just standing around at the exit door chit chatting and doing nothing. Maybe have them walking the aisles seeing if anyone needs help. We looked around, stood around trying to find someone to help us but nope. We ended up leaving without buying anything. Then you wonder why everyone orders from Amazon like we ended up doing. You have only self checkouts now, why? You still employ people just to stand around??? Makes no sense, put those people to work. Went in to buy a wheel barrel this morning at the HD on Crismon. All the barrels were locked up this morning outside. I paid for it inside and proceeded to try and get someone to unlock one for me. There were about 5 young men, employees standing around talking and completely ignoring me. These guys saw I needed something but did everything they could to ignore me and there were no other customers around. Finally I got a lady to help and she brought out an older guy who had a hard time even walking to unlock the barrels while these idiot employees watched. Employees need to help the customers and get their lazy butts to work. read more

I asked a red headed young women in the washer/fridge section about a warranty on something and what the price was and she kept arguing with me that she didn't understand why I would need the warranty instead of just telling me if it had one or the price of it. She almost made it her mission to make me sound dumb. I'm building a converted schoolie and just wanted the warranty. Why that was so hard for her to understand, I'm not sure. Why she cared, I am not sure. She didn't offer help. Just sat there eaves dropping on my conversation before hand (that had nothing to do with anything in her department or job) and commented on it, then didn't help me when I asked. A poor employee. Older woman at the front kept trying to get the woman scanning to scan for more than I had. Nobody had any answers for any questions I asked on products or appliances. I haven't been to Home Depot in about 15 years because of their poor customer service back then. I broke down and went to them today because their website said they had something I wanted. It was a Weber grill. I got there and they didn't have it. I walked by a sign that said free assembly and delivery for grills over like 399. I didn't see the grill so I went to Customer Service to order it. The gentleman was very nice so I'll give him a star for that. He went to order it and told me it would be a an assembly fee of $109. I don't understand why I have to pay extra because they don't have something that they say they have so I canceled the order. He lost about a $650 sale. read more

This has got to be one of the poorest run Home Depot stores in the Mesa area located on the SE corner of Hampton & Crismon, not just SOME but ALL of employees that are employed there are extremely low in product knowledge and store policies when dealing with the customer. On 05/01/25 I did my homework the afternoon before, getting quotes up front from the Return Employee (Steve) at customer service, told I'd be receiving a $418 store credit on a Rheem Water Heater that had 3yr. warranty remaining, when I brought the Heater in the following morning (14 hours later) I was informed when completing the return the store credit would ONLY be $260!! Why the difference 14hr later?!! I was told Steve made a mistake and wasn't trained properly, this was a 1/2 ASS excuse for incompetence and lack of accountability to the customer which is par for this location. This location needs to be BOYCOTTED and held accountable for extremely poor performance, starting with me cutting up my Home Depot CC. read more

Tired of aisles full of pallets of paper towels and other junk that I don't want to buy. Can't make my way around the store with other shoppers. Obviously Home Depot gets kickbacks for Prominent product location, but I hate my shopping experience. The led lightbulbs that are supposed to last for years don't. The circuitry that runs these bulbs (ecosmart a Home Depot contract manufactured brand) is pure garbage. I won't buy any more. I looked online and found the store allegedly has 12 firesticks in stock. Cost $34.99. Go to the store - after being misdirected twice - we find the firesticks in a cage in the front of the store. The price is marked $24.99. Wait to have someone open the cage and go to purchase it - it rings up as $49.99. I question the clerk - we have 4 different associates called upon to try to resolve the issue. The fifth "Gary" - walks up and pulls off the price sticker and tells the fourth that he just sold the last one and therefore tell us there are none in stock. We try to reason with Gary that the website said they have 12, and that he just pulled the price tag off right in front of us and that I shouldn't be charged $49.99. Then another manager is called in. She is absolutely no help either. There is nothing they can do she says. I explain to her that Gary pulled the price sticker off right in front of us, and that within earshot he told the other salesperson to indicate he sold the last one and tell us this. A half hour later, I said just cancel the sale. She did. No apology, no attempt to make it right. Hmm, we did a lot of business at this store in the past. A lot. Went on to Lowe's, found the firestick as advertised there and purchased it with no hassle. What a joke. Lack of customer service was appalling!! read more

Purchased a washer with delivery and installation plan that was cancelled with no notification. The money was taken out of my bank and paid for with no return, only to find out 6 days later that my order was cancelled without reason. Customer service called the manager and was told that they have no record of who authorized this to be cancelled with zero discussion to the buyer. They then began to tell me the only one who could have done that was Samsung manufacturing company where they receive their product. I found that odd that nobody could give me a reason for such a huge disappointment with my order, so here we are on a raining Sunday unable to do laundry before the work week and down $750...not all Home Depot locations are this bad , now they have said that another reason could be because their location is 65 miles from my home, if that's the case they should have explained that before taking my money. I have had lumber and cement delivered to my home from a different location that is 56 miles away...My advice for this location is to not take money out of someone's bank account leaving them short $750 with an unnoticed cancellation of a much needed and promised product. I'll wait for a solution, as of now I will find an alternative route for my kids and I to do our laundry outside of our home. read more

This Home Depot is unbelievable. They will allow a man to follow women around the store and ask weird and creepy questions! I came to this Home Depot location on Black Friday 2023 to get some of their advertised deals. As I was making my way to the checkout, a man came up behind me and asked me if he could take my photo! He was wearing all dark clothing (dark colored pants, dark colored hoodie, and dark hat). It was creepy and unnerving! I obviously said no and quickly moved away from this man! It was not a Home Depot employee as he had no Home Depot apron or name tag visible! I reported this to the checker and she dismissed my concerns and actually laughed at me! Having a strange man follow you and ask if he can take your photo inside of a store is a legitimate concern. The checker should have immediately got in touch with management over this...instead, she just laughed at me. I am thoroughly disappointed with Home Depot because they no longer honor non-disabled veterans with a discount. Disturbing. I also emailed corporate and got a canned reply that someone would get back to me in 3-5 business days. I never received a reply. Apparently they do not like being criticized. Everything was going swimmingly until I ran into my cashier. I had earmuffs over an ARMY hat. She never looked twice at me after initially flagging me on. After ringing me up at full price, when she finally turned around she looked at me with disgust as I showed her my military identification. Affter surrendering my id, it is not my fault she cannot or will not utilize the information provided in order to do her job. She kept on yelling at me repeatedly she could not help me if I didn't take your earmuffs off as if that is the only way we can communicate She waved the manger over and joked with him if he couldn't solve my problem quickly, it was rude to the customer. Thankfully she then went to her time out space to calm down and the manger helped me as I was having trouble with my credit card. I have shopped all over the place and never had an issue until now. I tried to be a better man by saying thank you and wishing them a nice day as I left.. If you are a veteran and are disabled in any way, I recommend avoiding this store. I made it over to my local HD store on Crismon in Mesa/60. Sunday Dec 10 around 10:45 am. To pick up some florescent lightbulb's. While searching for an associate to assist me an extremely overly ambitious air conditioning sales person came to help me. I explained the purpose of my search in that particular aisle and he proceeded to say I'm sorry I can't help you I sell air-conditioning and I'm an independent vendor. I said OK that's fine. I'm just waiting for a representative that can come over and assist me. This vendor then preceded to sell me an air conditioning in December when it's 50° outside during the day and 32° at night. I told him I was not interested. I'm here to buy a fluorescent lightbulb and I'm waiting for an associate. The vendor proceeded to continue to sell me on the benefits of air-conditioning to my home. I explain once again that I was not interested in air-conditioning. I was there for a fluorescent lightbulb. Continued on with all the benefits of air-conditioning for my home. I explain I don't want to be rude. However, if you continue on the path you're going on, I'll be reporting you to management. Again, to prove a point that he could get me upset he continued on with the possibilities of how his air-conditioning could improve my home. I wish I could only remember his name because every other associate inside that Home Depot while they may not be familiar with what question I may have they all jumped on trying to make sure That I had someone come to me when that person was available to answer my questions. This independent vendor is a major blemish to the Home Depot as he wears a Home Depot apparel. Looks like he's a Home Depot employee at first contact. This kid had I not been with my 86-year-old mother could've had a very rude awakening, considering the path he was on and challenging the customer just to prove that he could control the conversation and try and make a sale. I'm in sales have been for 25 years and I certainly know when and when not a customer is interested in a product or service that I can provide. Again, I could only wish I remember his name. However, if I see this kid again, I'll make a point of getting his name so I can report him to management. He basically is a young punk kid and I can assure you perhaps he won't be there too much longer at least I hope so, very disappointed as I do a lot of business at Home Depot versus Lowe's and encourage people to go to Home Depot in lieu of Lowe's. They don't accept a license with an obvious veteran logo as proof of veteran status! Other Home Depot stores have no problem. The Nursery "man" (Howard) was not at all helpful. He was extremely rude and argued with me that the 5 for $10 mulch I had was the wrong one. I asked for help and received none. I had to switch out the same mulch for the EXACT SAME MULCH just a different color, same price though ($1.98ea). After I checked out I asked for help to load into my truck. No help again! Recently had The Home Depot come out to pour cement on our side yard. We went with them because they had a way to funnel the cement to the side yard so we didn't have to wheelbarrow cement around the front of the house. Scheduling them should have been the first hint that we would have issues. Their website shows a local phone number to dial to schedule with them directly (or advises you to go to The Home Depot). We called, numerous times, and though someone answered, the person that was at The Home Depot couldn't ever provide help. They said that the person in charge of that area was gone for the day, or.. that they would dial back (never happened). After 3 days of trying to reach them, we finally scheduled for a Wednesday. There were 2 men who came out to pour that morning, and they showed up on time. But... it all went downhill from there. We had family members here to assist with the concrete once it was poured. Pouring though was an entirely different story. They kept shimmying the hose over the wall, and towards the end, the hose kinked up. The two men hired by Home Depot were relying on our two men to help (which seemed fine at the time). Until the hose blew the kink open and the air pressure exploded concrete out of the house. One of the men was hit on his torso and lower back, with a deep rash and abrasion from the concrete that blew out. Immediately the two men from Home Depot walked off the area, and I found them chatting across the street on their phone (perhaps with their supervisor?) I came around to ask them if that was normal and they said "yep, completely normal. Everything is fine. Happens all the time." Wow - really? I scoured the paperwork to see what to do in case of an instance like this and the paperwork had a liability clause on it to release The Home Depot from any/all liability. Which is great -- if the customer signs the paper. That paper was never signed or initialed by myself or my husband, which doesn't make it effective. It wasn't but minutes later that the two men were gone. I came outside to see if I could speak with them before they left and found no trace of them there -- but spotted a 6-8' inflatable "pool" on my front yard. Half on the yard and half on the driveway. The pool was filled with what appeared to be waste, that they pumped out when they were done. With no way to pick up and dispose of it, I called The Home Depot on Crismon to ask to speak to someone. Within 30 minutes, a supervisor named Steve appeared at my front door. We discussed this "pool of concrete, rock and water mix" on my yard. He said "don't you have buckets here? Can't you get the workers to haul it off somewhere?" Workers? Then he asked me who the men were in the back that were working on leveling the concrete. They were family - my father in law and his brother. He looked at me (Steve did) and said "hired help?" Hired help? No, they are family. After a quick chat with him, he basically told me that it isn't normal for them to leave the waste behind, but since they did, we would just have to figure out how to get pails and dispose of it. Ourselves. He said "it'll be easy. Just get some buckets, dump the water and spread the rock-type concrete that's left in there around. It won't hurt anything." I asked him what we should do about the abrasion on the torso, and he laughed it off and said "ah, it comes with the job, they work with concrete. They've had this happen before I'm sure." And like that he was gone. The pool of rock, concrete and water still on my yard. And a family member that now requires extra medical care for his abrasions. Would I get Home Depot to come back out again? Probably not.. which is upsetting because I love Home Depot and prefer them to Lowe's and Ace Hardware. But I would never have hired someone to pour concrete and then dispose of the waste on my yard in a baby pool .. only to make the assumption that "my workers" should take care of removing it. It's a derogatory term that makes me feel like he said it because they are Mexican and it's deserving of them. With no apology at all. At least bring your guys back out, as your employees to remove it. Since it's not "normal" for them to leave the waste at the customers home, why not take care of it for them instead of assuming that they should do it? read more

Just moved into the area and I go to Home Depot often for woodworking supplies. On October 2nd at approximately 5:05PM Employee Zach was working the self checkout lane. Great customer service and respectful. I can tell he was genuine and cared about helping customers. I noticed he would greet customers as they walked by the self check-out station. I mistakenly went into the "cards only" self check-out station but Zach told me it's an easy fix and he took me to the correct lane. He also ensured I was clear in the system to purchase my spray paint before he walked away. I hope the managers can see this and recognize Zach for his excellent work. I have a broken arm, came in for bags of concrete with my son, and coulnt find 1 spot to park my truck and trailer! the staff lets anybody park wherever they want! they need to start monitoring it and kicking single vehicles out of the trailer parking spots!
