Not a great sight to see as a buyer, however, once we said we were just looking to see what was available they left us alone. Occasionally as we were walking around someone would ask if we needed help but for the most part they left us alone. This allowed my wife and I to look and discuss our needs and budget. The pricing was pretty good and we were convinced that when we were ready we were going to go back and make our purchases.

The store itself has an odd and musty smell. My partner and I also saw a lot of stains on the carpet, and it overall left a very unclean impression of the store. Not only that, I have discovered 3 bug bites in a row on my arm, which may indicate they have bed bugs living in their show furniture. I'm hoping it's not bed bugs and that they did not hitch a ride home with me :( We were helped immediately as soon as we walked in because we were the only customers there on a weekend. What a huge contrast to how busy it was at the furniture store we stopped by before this one! We were told some helpful things, but after we were promised to be left alone to look around, we were approached a few more times again. It felt rather awkward. Overall, it's really hard for me to recommend Mega Furniture to anyone unless you have a very specific style you're looking for because they do have some furniture pieces that are not what's currently trending. I can at least respect a store that isn't afraid to carry more niche styles.

Now that we have this other sectional before the 12 months were up our guest got electrical shock from the recliner control because of a defaulted shorted switch box. Now they keep dragging it out to get the switch boxes replace going on 6 months! Not happy customers... We would prefer to just get our money back since we are not able to have a functional couch sectional that we wanted.

I had recently ordered a Svante media stand and it came damaged - with two big cracks in the bottom…read moreboard. To get the media stand exchanged, I have to first work with their 3rd party vendor and based on the vendor's assessment the next steps will be decided. Basically, they are leaving me (the customer) in limbo. Though I had ordered the media stand from their Mesa store, I had to go all the way up to their warehouse in Phoenix (an hour's drive from my home) to pick up the media stand. They surely know how to make things more difficult for their customers! A 'good' store would make things easier and not difficult for the customer. Also, a month ago, I had ordered a Quintin nightstand online, paid for it and everything. A week later, I get a call from them saying that they are out of the nightstands! Overall, I am really disappointed with their customer service. Damaged furniture out-of-the-box is another big concern. No more shopping at Scandinavian Designs for me!! Future customers: Do check your furniture thoroughly for any damage prior to pick up and/or after delivery!!
