We got a gift card from someone for Home Depot. This is the closest one to us. The store is nicely laid out and has everything for your DIY or home improvement project. The prices are comparable to most home improvement stores. The 3 star rating is because not once did a clerk ask us if we needed help or if we found what we were looking for. Not that we needed help, it just shows good customer service. When I go to Lowe's I can't down the first aisle without someone asking if I am finding what I'm looking for. read more

Experience review- I picked up a can of clear spray paint and red paint came out, ruining a project that took several hours and materials exceeding $50, all for a mislabeled $4 paint can. PHIL replaced the spray paint can but wouldn't do a thing about the rest. My day off is screwed and all I get is yet another orange apron walking away from me. I hope I never need their services again. Otherwise the store is stocked with things I buy, so why bother with 1 star when at least most of the place is adequate. This Home Depot will not do a refund or even exchange without a card of purchase, so if it's on your spouse's card you won't be able to return it, unless you have a receipt. The manager was able to spend 10 minutes on the phone talking to the cashier but was unable to come and talk to me personally. As usual I have been inconvenienced because the hose spraying device lasted 4 weeks even though it was the most expensive one. So despite my return trip using expensive gas, they do not want to return it without a card or receipt. So there are Lowe's stores near me who do not have this policy, also Walmart, Fry's grocery, and many other stores who do not have this problem. read more

I purchased a 10x10 gazebo and extra netting almost 2 weeks ago and I haven't been able to receive a ETA on my purchase. I received the netting first but no one can tell me where my gazebo is at. I was told the expected date was the 23rd NEVER received an email to pick. I went in to ask about an ETA they couldn't give me that. Phone services, no help, been on the phone for over 15 minutes. Purchasing IN STORE items completely fine but SPECIAL ORDERS.. best believe you won't receive or will not receive on expected date. Terrible customer service :( read more

Young girl in customer service refuse to exchange out Dewalt Clamp that ONLY home depot sells telling us that people go dumbster diving and return items after seeing us in our work cloths and seeing how used up our tool was when it has a Lifetime Warranty thru dewalt and home depot . Other employee next to her exhange it knowing it doesnt cost them anything to do it and make life and everything so simple for everyone. Def would recommend to retrain this employee or be more respectful and realistic with us hard working builders that need our tools. read more

We have visited this Home Depot MANYYYY times these last three months, and I can say that every visit was AWESOME. On our most recent visit, Rick and Joe helped us in the door department. My dad is handicap and so when we were shopping for the outdoor door, Rick offered a lending hand. He showed us the door that we wanted and pulled a few out because they were slightly scuffed. He never gave us any attitude and was very happy to be helping us. He and Joe, pulled the door out for us, got a cart, put it on the cart and brought it up front. While he was bringing it up front, he also grabbed the additional nails that we would need to use to install it without us even asking! They really went above and beyond for us and made the trip very simple! He even requested loading help for us. I pulled the car up and they loaded the door into the truck... They had a younger fellow Colton loading it and he wasn't very careful lifting it in and tore a bit of the window trim, but my dad saw it and asked him to lift it over the window trim, so it was fine. My dad was still in the electric wheelchair and even a guy who had a broken arm offered to take the electric scooter back in for him, so he could just get in the car. Upon all trips to this location they have always lent a helping hand with a smile on. Everyone asks as you pass if you need any help. Its the simple gestures that really mean a lot and enhance customer satisfaction! read more

I was charged for merchandise twice! Paid in the self checkout and first time the card reader said declined. Second attempt the transaction was approved. After a few days I found out I had been charged twice. I called my bank and confirmed the two charges had gone though and were not reversible . I was advised to go to the store with receipt and explain the situation to the store manager. While at the store, I had 3 employees were endorsing that the extra charge would be reversed within a couple of days. The store manager asked for a second receipt . I only received one receipt from the self check out and I was told I could not be helped due to not having two receipts. I was only given one receipt from the self check out! I was charged double for one transaction. I felt unheard by the store manager. Her resolution was for me to return the merchandise bought and be refunded once and I would still have a charge left and no product. This was unhelpful. read more

This review is for the Garden Center only. The flower selection seemed to be fairly limited but the prices were descent. They have a good selection of planters and I found a couple that I really liked. Herbs were incredibly limited and those that they did have looked horrible. Tomato and pepper plants seemed alright. The Home Depot at Mesa Riverview has a better garden center all around but I would still give this location another chance. One of the cashiers outside was standing at her register playing on her cell phone while the other cashier helped everyone. I went to the cashier that was doing her job and she was really nice. Next time I will go to one of the many nurseries around the area. Home Depot is good for other home improvement needs. Gardening, not so much. read more

I have always hated shopping at Home Depot but had the best experience at this location. I needed nails, screws, a level, a stud finder, a bathtub plug and a blacklight. I found an employee, Rose, who turned into my personal shopper. She explained what nails would work best for my project. She took me from aisle to aisle filling my cart with the best priced version of the items I needed. Rose was amazing! read more

The workers at this store were very rude and not focused on what I told them. I was kicked out of the plumbing aisle so they could get a product for another customer with a forklift. I told the worker that I was just looking for a part but didn't need his help and replied that they needed to close the aisle so I should move along. At the SCOT I was greeted by the worker and asked "if you could type in a SKU for an item?" His reply was "is it for a girl?" I'm not even sure where the reply would come from. He then refused to listen when I told him the SKU and entered the wrong item. read more

This is the best Home Depot in the entire East Valley. I'm a general contractor and shop frequently (almost daily) at Home Depot. The staff here are friendly and always nice. They are helpful and actually ask if you need help rather than walk past you like the workers at Lowes. This is my preferred Home Depot because of the friendly environment but also I know that they always have what I need in stock and the store is always clean. read more

Sandy M helped me even measuring the fridge and knowing it was the best fridge for my new property. Very professional friendly service that other stores like the one in Corona, CA could learn from. Do not use Home Depot 3rd Party Installer- save your money! The one they use in the East Valley Arizona is a joke! Stapley Action Garage Door 4613 Ivy Street Mesa 85205 The unit you purchase does not come from the Home Depot store directly but a local garage door company which Home Depot contacts with. The contacting company buys garage door opener units in bulk, so here I purchased a garage door opener unit and get one with a manufacture date from 2016. Its Arizona and I do not want a 2016 unit which has been sitting around in some hot warehouse for months. I know Home Depot's store inventory turns over more quickly then a local mom and pop business so I would suggest you purchase your unit from the store. Home Depot should be ashamed of having Stapley Action Garage Door as a 3rd party installer for there products. The installer is super lazy, trying to use the old garage opener parts and not the ones from the new garage door opener unit. Save yourself time and energy and DO NOT pay to have Home Depot install your new purchase. read more

I went to Home Depot today and was there a couple days ago as well. Every day they have a different entrance that is hard to get to from all the barricades they've put up, with many signs making customer experience a hell in the heat. The person made me wait at the door in the biggest heat of the day. My chances from dying from heat exhaustion are much bigger than from the covid 19. That's their policy though.... If you ask for something you cannot find, they will lead you to it and hang around to answer questions and be even more helpful. I purchased a product that they sell. Rejuvenate. Excellent product. So the Veterans that served are appreciated on Veterans, Memorial, July 4 and one other holiday that the cashier was a little embarrassed to not remember. Don't you know Veterans are each heros? Our 1960s-era house needed new windows. And I was seriously dreading the process, as my experience with window salesman has been less-than-stellar. In fact, I once threatened to call the police on a window salesman who wouldn't leave. So my husband and I worked up a game plan: we'd tell the Home Depot sales person we wanted him to take measurements then email us an estimate. No high-pressure sales would be tolerated. Instead of high-pressure, we had courteous, professional, and efficient Joe. Joe rocked. He took measurements, asked us what we were looking for (vinyl-clad, mid-range price). He had the estimate for us in a few minutes. To my shock, it was half the price of what the trespasser estimated. And no BS about "sign in your yard" discounts, "if you say yes right now" discounts, nor any other tomfoolery. Yes, I said tomfoolery. It's a good word that's not used nearly enough. So if you need windows, contact HD and try out their no-pressure sales. read more

I arrived at this store and was walking in 10 feet behind another customer and the employee turned off the door right in my face. How rude! Seriously? I just wanted to run in and grab some paint swatches for my new business I am opening on Main St. The really crappy thing is that the employees wouldn't even look at me or answer when I tried to talk to them. I am really angry and your store just lost a lot of money, I was making a material list for the build out this weekend and was going to be spending a couple of thousand on materials this week.
