Even if you have an extended warranty with Allstate/Home Depot, they still give you the run around for months for a fix on anything that malfunctions. Walked in looking for a floor tile, sand paper and some herbs. All the herbs are dried, some are dead and the rest are droopy, bruised with pests. The soil super dry, no one on the entire floor to ask questions or care for these plants? They thought that putting up fans pointed at them will do the work in keeping them in good shape. There is no way I'm paying money for herbs at this store. Customer service called Kyle who was assigned to the floor tile section to come and assist me. Took him a few minutes to come, answered one question then left, said he was going to be right back, I waited about 15 minutes but he didn't show. I decided to walk 2 isles over to get sand paper then made my way back to the tile isle and it was closed with the yellow fence on both ends of the isle. All this happened in under 3 minutes. I finally find Kyle and he said "sorry, I closed it for a couple of minutes but I'm done, I'll be right back to help you." He never came. I left the store without the floor tile and the herbs I needed and simply paid for the sand paper I found MYSELF at one of the self check out registers. ONLY one of them open on a busy weekend?!?! I am flabbergasted. The bad rating on this store made by others is right on point, I am not coming back to this Home Depot. They obviously don't make their company time useful. After many years we decides to upgrade our kitchen Appliances to GE profile, happily we went shopping and found that Home Depot had a good discount and we purchased four pieces that was part of the special. This was on 11/27/24. Two days later we seen a problem with the Range, they exchanged it, the new one the next day had a problem again! Our GE profile frig the freezer French door is leaking causing the door to accumulate ice on the door seal, we went back to Home Depot and requested that they replace it, they came back and said "it's been more than 48hrs we don't take it back" so said they called the GE technical service once no show!. Few days later they arrived and told us that the repair to the frog is large and suggested to return to Home Depot and get it replaced, less then two weeks from purchase. The manager said it's your problem you need to get it fixed then bring it here and I will return your money. It's been a true nightmare!!!. Beside the appliance we also purchased a patio set when unpacking all the eccentrically hardware was missing, manager said call the manufacturer request and we will approve the order. This is the worst Home Depot, ever! I went to get a can of paint. The guy mixed the paint. I put it in my shopping cart. I took it to the cashier. The cashier swiped the can of paint (for the bar code), charged me for it, and proceeded to put it inside the shopping bag. I put the shopping bag in my cart. I went outside. Epic failure! I purchased an LG Refrigerator on July 29, 2021. I received an email scheduling the delivery on August 6, 2021. They never showed up, called or rescheduled! I have called several times the number on the email to check the status of delivery and they conveniently hang up on me. A simple, "Delivery is rescheduled" email or notification would be polite and appreciated. I waited all day and 4 days later still can't get in touch with them. Are they still in business? If there is an option for a ZERO stars review, I would choose that. I will never forget the wee (early) hours of September 7, 2017. My husband and I went to this location at 2:30 in the morning, in search of plywood to prepare our sliding door for Hurricane Irma's "visit", while my father went to another Home Depot location near his house. The lines were pretty long because they told us and other people that the plywood would arrive soon. We waited and waited until 6 am when they opened the store. Then an employee told us that the plywood won't arrive to the store and they didn't have ANY consideration to let people in who were waiting like us since 2:30 am and earlier, instead they let in people who came at 6am first as that line formed at the main door instead of the construction entrance door where we would have gotten the plywood and where the long line was formed throughout the early morning hours. My dad told me the same story on that other location. We reunited with him and went to Lowe's. We never found the plywood , but we find some 2x4's. My husband and brother worked together putting those 2x4's to create a fence on the sliding door. The house survived Irma and we never lost electricity. We had been blessed. Home Depot were terrible this time! I won't repeat this story again. I will get accordion shutters. Since that day we didn't go to Home Depot. read more

If you buy an alliance and for any reason you want to return it... you might want to think about not buying it here. I bought a washer/dryer for a tenant and I have had issues retuning it. Vivian who is the alliance manager sayid that I can return only if there is a problem with it. I told her to didn't fit and we want to return it and buy another one. Her solution: customer must bring it back. So I am supposed to bring back a washer and dryer to the store.. and by the way they took my old one and cannot return it. Crazy!!! Not a huge fan of this Home Depot store. The layout is different than the one I frequent on 152nd, although selection is similar. That's not it though... this store seems smaller and busier, which is a bad combination for the customer. I always feel like I'm crowded when shopping here. Not HD's fault, just a factor of location I guess. Maybe HD didn't anticipate it would be as busy as it is. One of my husband's and son's favorite stores. We come here regularly, sometimes for small things we need for the home and some other times for bigger jobs. Employees are nice and you can usually find at least one willing to help you find what you are looking for. Competitive prices and the 10% military discount is a big plus for us. We've definitely found nice deals in different items like patio furniture, bathroom vanities and barbq grills. Parking space is never an issue! read more

This location is kind of close to my home... Although am not a fan of hardware stores, most of the time I get there pretty much know what I'm looking for; if you need help from an employee, sometimes will take a while before you get one...Specially in the Gardening area like some other folks already posted, basically the only one employee there is the cashier... Couple of years ago I had to visit this location with a handy man whom was putting tiles and upgrading our bathroom...We found an employee whom believe is Puerto Rican, and he not only was knowledgeable enough also gave some advice to the handy man, up to the point I was about to offer the employee my bathroom job and ask the handy man to get back home! In another situation we were looking for a cheap patio furniture (4 white plastic chairs and one round table), and happened to find one returned by another customer, but without damage...The lady at customer service gave us an excellent discount which was closer as to give the stuff for free. Also I bought 4 palm trees for my tiny backyard and those are great! I planted them and have grown a lot! Again the store is not that bad, but if you need assistance get ready to wait! read more

I bought an appliance a few weeks ago and had to go to the store due to those delivering the appliance refusing to install it when I had paid for it and had the proof on paper that I paid for the installation. While at the store, Fernando from the appliance department was rude and said they don't change for installation... when I had proof I had paid for it. Good customer services isn't hard if you are professional and really want to make your company look good, but employees like Fernando not only make this store look bad, but makes himself look like a fool when the customer has the proof and witness. She was acting like he knew everything instead of being of help, and accusing and judging customers for not having paid for something they had the proof of. I wouldn't suggest this store because of Fernando's horrible customer service. read more

This Home Depot can be a hit or miss. Sometimes service is great, and other times it is terrible. I spent a few hours here on Sunday buying supplies to build a custom closet. The employee in the storage section was very nice and assisted me with cutting all of the shelves properly. She also showed me the type of brackets I would need. Home depot was not super busy this particular Sunday, like it normally is. Thankfully for me, I did not have to wait on line too long. I was able to find all of the supplies I needed, including sheet rock screws, and a cheap level for the wall. I was very satisfied with my purchase and the customer service was on-point this day! read more
