We have purchased our last appliance from this dishonest store. Bought a new dryer, paid for delivery/setup and has to buy new power cord. The 2 non englinsh speaking men that delivered it set it in our laundry room handed me the new power cord and said - its easy to connect it... They said delivery said non hook up. I didnt need a new power cord if that was the case. We were either lied to or mislead on the whole process, but our slaesman got his commision and we got screwed. This location is kind of hidden since sign was low, and back from the main road. Bellevue has grown, and this store has also grown in business, they are cleaning up the area more each day, and the employees at Home Depot have shown great help, service to the community as this area continues to grow. If you go online to and pay to reserve a rental truck, they may cancel your reservation hours before your schedule pickup time. That's what happened to me today, and they completely ruined my plans to move some materials with a 12' box truck rental I reserved the day before. Their best answer was to come by the store tomorrow to rent a truck. Look. I don't plan ahead and reserve early to have my reservation cancelled and my plan delayed because of some issue with the system or whatever the manager said. Why is this crap online as an option if I can't simply pay for my reservation online and pickup the box truck I reserved. Very unreliable! Thanks for wasting my TIME!!! read more

Had to grab some heavy lumber, concrete and shovels for a project today. The employees were super helpful and eager to help. Seth did a great job offering to help me lift heavy objects and load them into my truck, super friendly and helpful man. I special ordered some deck boards. I made the mistake and ordered 16 foot lengths thinking this would save my labor time. I had a 12 foot trailer and tried to use a pallet to prop the back up. They were too flimsy. I am not paying $80 to get them delivered. It took a little time but Richard delivered them on a 20 foot flatbed and unloaded them exactly where I wanted. After all the pain in the butt this solution worked out well. I appreciate the perseverance of the Home Depot Folks in making this happen. I get that it is a big box store but they did go above and beyond and always had professionalism and courtesy and helping me. read more

It was delivered and left in my hall because they wouldn't touch the copper line on my old fridge that hadn't worked in over a month. 2 week wait to hear back from a plumber for an appt. I called my own.. installed it on my own and took the old one outside where it sat for 2 weeks.. even though I talked to folks at the store 3 times to get them to come sooner and a credit for removal. Broken promises. They just removed the old fridge but not after arguing with them about the other appliances they said I had to have removed.. whaaaat??? Unbelievable. Scheduled a dishwasher install in mid November. Two days after I scheduled and paid, I received a notice that installation would be postponed by 5 weeks to December 30. I was unhappy, but decided to suck it up and wait. After all, the old dishwasher is only leaking, it's not broken. Today, they came, left the dishwasher and said that they could not install because a plumber is required. Note that this is replacing an existing dishwasher. It's not a new install. Called customer service and was told that it would be a week before a plumber could get here. So the new dishwasher is sitting in the middle of my floor. The leaky one is still in place. And Home Depot had had my money for six weeks. I have little confidence that this will end well. Reminds me of the importance of using local vendors. Note to self in the new year.... read more

I am a long time Home Depot customer and this location is the closest to my home, therefore, it always makes most sense that I shop from here. Even with the awful one way entrance to the parking lot and awkward exit. Having toddlers I utilize their online shopping and pickup option and it seems like they're never on the same page when I arrive to pickup my order (defeating the purpose). Other times when I come in to shop they are often out of basic products and no sense of urgency or awareness to inconveniencing their customers. During pandemic went for curbside to pick up a item. Got an email that the order was ready. Home Depot app said there were 50 in stock. 10 minutes after arriving the service rep arrives with our unit in a beat up previously opened box. And our second item was also torn loose from its packaging. We asked him go get another of first item and after another 15 minutes he returns to say "they're getting one down with a ladder." After another 15 minutes we were finally on our way. It feels as if curbside is where they dump seconds. And if time and efficient service is what you value don't go to this store. read more

Went into Bellevue Home Depot today 08/17/21 to purchase a washer/dryer combo. After being thoroughly ignored by appliance department for nearly 40 minutes a young gentleman named Adam came past pushing garbage bins on a cart and asked if I was having a good day. When I angrily said no he immediately asked if there was any way he could help. Well 10 minutes later I had my receipt in hand, purchase completed, and out the door. Stop number 57 on my "Repair the House" world tour, I stopped in for some doorstops. After some confusing directions around the store, we found what we were looking for. We continued looking around for some Kitchen Storage items, but despite the sign to the contrary, we could never find anything. I'm sure these REALLY big stores suffer from the fact that they are REALLY BIG but as "The New Guy" when it comes to this Home Repair and Improvement stuff it all seems unnecessarily daunting. I purchased a dishwasher at Home Depot, I tried to purchase an on sale refrigerator that I have waited 2 months to purchase but they advertise appliances that are not available nor to they provide rainchecks (how do you say bait and switch). But I did purchase the dishwasher and arranged for a installation. Yesterday, was the second time I had installers at my home. At the previous aborted installation, I was told erroneously that I needed a bracket to install the dishwasher. This was not true but this lie allowed the installers to not do the job and enjoy their early Saturday break. It also left me scrambling to find another day for installation. And I had to go back to the store for the bracket. The second crew told me that I had been erroneously informed that they do not hardwire dishwashers anymore. He does and because I had the wrong information, I paid for a contractor to install a plug which should have been on the floor (which should have been conveyed to me). So now I am stuck with the bill and another contractor to move the plug and still a third installation trip from Home Depot. This is frustrating, disorganized, and is not acceptable. I am in the process of purchasing multiple appliances - they will not be from Home Depot. read more

I've always been more of a Lowe's guy, I think Lowe's has better sales and generally a more helpful staff. This Home Depot is closer to my house though so I frequently go in to buy the one offs such as wood stain, weed eater string, fasteners and what not. I actually have found that their prices are better than Lowe's on some things. This particular Home Depot is very clean, well organized, and I have had nothing but positive interactions with the staff. Keep it up guys! The only knock that I have is for the swimming pool sized potholes on the roads into the parking lot which may be out of their control but be careful not to drive into one. read more

We bought a GE refrigerator and paid for it. Ours was no longer cold, frozen foods thawing. We bought the delivery as much as the product. We had to wait from Saturday to the next Friday, but we felt we could manage. Wednesday, we got an automated call from delivery, saying our NEW delivery date is A MONTH OUT FROM PURCHASE. Depot says NOW it's not responsible for delivery schedules. ARE YOU KIDDING ME! The sales group did not say you "might" see your appliance next Friday. They didn't say, "understand" we dont know if next Friday is good or not! They SAID, "Your delivery is set for next Friday". In 2019, refrigerators miss deliveries by WEEKS, not days or hours. I maintain Depot IS accountable to their customers NOT the OEM. Because Depot rolls blindly along making it complicit! Depot is a large distributor of Goods. They have been giving 10% to Veterans for as long as I can remember. They suddenly say they only do that 4 times a year now. When I called other Home Depots they said they offered it all the time and not just 4 times a year. They also said that it was the managers choice. Well we go to Lowes they offer military discount all the time. They also have designated parking spaces for veterans to park. This manager Chris is chasing customers to Lowes. Chris tried to tell me that Lowes was going to stop the military discount as well but they ARE NOT. As a matter of fact just got an advertisement in the mail that was encouraging veterans to come and take advantage of savings. I know some out there are thinking why do we think we deserve a discount. I don't but if I can save money anywhere I'd be stupid not to take advantage of it. read more

Please do NOT visit this retailer. They are making a conscious choice not to enforce the current mask mandate issued by Davidson county. When confronted about the issue, the manager stated they are not actively working to do any enforcement even though they post signage on all entries stating ALL customer are required to wear a mask. Just as you shouldn't go grocery shopping hungry, you definitely shouldn't go to Home Depot without a list or items in mind. Why? Because if you don't, it's very likely you'll walk the big store, see all their great ideas and offerings and want to redo your whole house! Perhaps it doesn't have that big of an effect on you, but I'm the daughter of an architect so home improvement things are fun to me! So far at this Home Depot (a large and well stocked one indeed), I've come across some very helpful people. My main goal was to get some gardening help and the lady there was patient and available. When it comes to stores like this, my best advice for not feeling overwhelmed and lost is to not be afraid to ask the employees for some help and direction! That's what they're there for. I come here often for general home improvement projects, and I will occasionally order ship-to-store items online. Unlike the local Lowe's, which has screwed up every online order I've made, Home Depot gets it right each time. My mother who is 90 years old and still able to live on her own bought a refrigerator from Home Depot, they delivered it but were unable to install it because it did not have a dedicated shut off valve. That was nowhere in the large amount of questions asked at purchase. She then decided to keep her old one as an extra but still install the new one. She did call the store and inform them. They failed to call until 30 minutes before delivery when they got there they proceeded to disassemble the old one and put it on the truck for haul away. She told them she wanted to keep it and he could have cared less his paper work said he was to haul it away and that's what he was going to do. I called Home Depot while the truck was still there and told them what was the issue and they tell me the driver should do whatever the customer wanted but they refused. I ask her to contact the driver I was told they don't work for them. If u are going on o outsource your deliver then that is the face your customers see and represent you if the work directly for you or not they r your vendor of choice. I ask for the phone number to the delivery service and was told she could not give that out. End result was they hauled away the old one under my mothers protest and Home Depot did nothing to help only saying "oh no that's not what they should do". Very poor customer service and communication. I will drive the extra distance to avoid buying from them in the future. read more

Since the quarantine began I've made between eight and ten visits to HomeDepot and used the pick up option each time. Due to my age and health issues I can't risk going inside but ordering online and picking up (very often on the same day) has been a life saver (no pun intended). I particularly like the "drive through" service! And, their website is easy to navigate. The other big box home center near Bellevue is good too but their pick up service isn't as consistently good as Home Depot's. read more

Went in to buy a dishwasher. We were told that we could not pick it up in-store....it must be delivered. Then we were told that the only day that they could deliver to Dickson was a Friday. And that we wouldn't be able to get our 4 hour window of time until the night before. We told the girl that we work on Fridays. She said she couldn't do anything about it. So in other words, if you buy an appliance from Home Depot....you'd better be prepared to take an entire day off of work. Seems like this way, the dishwasher ends up costing over $150 more (since I have to take a day off of work). She actually told us that she just worked there....and maybe we should go to Lowes! Can't warn you enough about this awful store. We had a nightmare experience and there is absolutely NO WAY to file a complaint even for something egregious. I regret choosing them over Lowes or a smaller store immensely. Their delivery/installation service is an abomination. They are outright cruel to elderly customers and will refuse to enter the home if a senior citizen is the customer, even knowing another family member is a minute away. My elderly mother who lives in a nice Bellevue neighborhood was traumatized for weeks because after waiting 2 weeks for delivery, they arrived, looked at her and said they were leaving without delivery. No explanation. They just left! No drop off of the merchandise, no call to me - even though I was the actual cardholder/purchaser, they had my phone # and they knew I was arriving in 2 minutes! I live right up the road! They wouldn't wait 60 seconds for me. They actually said their policy is they "don't wait for the customer!" I missed them by seconds. I was shocked! I called dispatch immediately and they told me the driver refused to turn around. They offered NO pickup at the store and said we would have to wait another 2-weeks for delivery! No apology. I was speechless. My mother is still so upset. She doesn't understand why they were "repulsed" by her. She was nicely dressed, had just been out shopping and is a normal senior. Her home is immaculate. I called 3 different customer service reps and they were all awful. No one offered any resolution, alternative or courtesy. I have spent well over $4000. in this store this year alone. One customer service rep was extremely rude and said they are not "bound" to deliver anything. I still don't understand it. The final offense is that a customer can't file a written complaint with either the local store or corporate, no matter how serious the issue. We, the customers, have no line of communication and no recourse. No one is there to help. One rep gave me an email address for filing a complaint but failed to mention that after you send it you receive a response that the mailbox isn't monitored and no one will review the complaint. They literally don't care. I'm grasping for straws here but if it was COVID he was concerned with, why did he never call ahead to see who was in the home, and ask the usual screening questions? He never asked anyone to wear a mask, never asked for proof of vaccination or made any request whatsoever. She is fully vaccinated, had a vaccination card, and would have gladly worn a mask if asked. The delivery time was between 3 and 7 PM. They arrived at 3:00 and were gone by 3:05. I arrived at 3:07. I now know this is a chronic issue. I never expected a store like HD would be so horribly unethical and nasty to their customers. We had contractors who ended up unable to do their work and we're left holding the bag.
