I love this Home Depot! I have known everyone here since this store opened. I have almost always had great service. If a product is not in stock, they will check for me to see when it arrives. I find good prices 99% of the time, and great service. I use both the return desk, as well as the Pro desk to order from. Donna is my favorite person on the Pro Desk. She researches and always has good suggestions on alternative products when the one I want is no longer available. I always ask for her, since I hate running a training program for the newbies. She also suggests products on sale. I just bring her my measurements and let her know what I am building, and she helps with material takeoffs too. She has a great grasp of construction and knows her products very well. read more

Usually Home Depot has almost everything you need . We bought 9 boxes of tile and we're in the pick up area . we were able to see the top tile in one box was broken. Luckily the tile was in stock and The employee helping us went to go get another box off the shelf so we didn't have to enter the store. But I feel the guy was really careful when he was putting the box of the tiles in our truck. I don't think he broke them. I like their holiday sales . I always wake up early on Black Friday because they have great prices on poinsettias for $1.99 each and wreaths for $7.99 can't beat that. The reason I get up at 6 AM is poinsettias and wreaths run out pretty quickly. read more

Run away from this store. Do not buy custom windows from them unless you want the worst customer service and installation imaginable. What we expected to be a happy and stress free purchase of made to order windows and door has turned out to be a ruse. Mismanaged from the start. Salesman sold us "custom" when off the rack would have worked. Expert measurement should have happened. We were told they would fit like a glove. We are now stuck waiting for a resolution where these windows were forced to fit the openings, our frames cut in half by the installers, not shimmed even once, screwed in randomly with drywall screws and with such torque that our new vinyl windows are compromised. Several won't open but a few inches. Two of them were so short they had to foam in a 2 inch gap at the header. They look like funhouse windows they are so wonky. Customer service is a bait and switch, dodge, and blame game. They are trying to bully us into paying full price for these compromised windows as if we were responsible. If you are still reading this I hope you do yourself a favor and go with another company. Even corporate volleyed it back down and won't make it right. This isn't the end of it though. This is thievery. **It is now September. Although I was invited to fill out yet another form to receive help in this debacle that began in June, NO ONE has contacted us. They literally have thousands of our money and we have broken windows and damaged openings to show for it. They also will not tell us where the door we ordered and paid for is. Are we getting this type of abuse because we are elderly and I am disabled? read more

I went into the store to purchase a double oven by Whirlpool. I knew the one I wanted. They are not cheap. I had questions on how to connect the power cord. I spoke with Smiley and we were able to purchase it. He said he wasn't an electrician and couldn't help with my question. So I walked to electrical and waited for an associate. I explained I purchased this oven. Showed him pics of my 240 v plug at home and he tried to help but didn't really know. The install instructions were unclear. They recommended to wait to get the oven and see, then come back to the store. I really didn't want to have to do that. Installation wasn't an offering which I thought was odd. So now I wait for the oven to be delivered this coming week and will have to go back to the store again. read more

Was returning a hose and Jaden was absolutely the best. He took great care of me. Then after I checked out I notice the cashier charged me the wrong price for my item. I went back in the store and took a picture of my item that was on sale for like $14 cheaper. So I went back to returns and Jaden helped me out again and got me all squared away and I got my discount that the item was suppose to be. Thank you Jaden for being so very helpful. read more

You can do it, they can help. This is a sprawling big box store along one of the busiest north-south highways in the country. This place seems to cater to the builders, and not so much the finishers. They have a large outdoor and lumber section, but the stuff for the smaller projects seemed to be lacking. Need help here? You're outta luck. Fortunately, in Texas a lot of people are eager to help answer questions, even if they don't work there. I didn't see an orange vested employee in the aisles. It's always maddening when they decide to shut down the whole aisle to drive their ladder or forklift around to rearrange the merchandise when you just need in there for a single washer or something. My favorite HD product has gotta be the 15' skeleton they sell for Halloween... Parking is easy. Access is easy. read more

Great selection of all the hardware and home improvement needs that you could imagine. I really enjoy their gardening section and all the employees always been helpful and show me where the products are that I'm looking for. I like browsing for general home improvement ideas and the appliance section give me a pretty good idea of some of the upgrades I could do with my house. Sometimes I do need a board cut and it is nice that they can cut a piece of plywood as I need for any shelving or various needs around the house. read more

I ordered a pedestal for my brand new dryer. I thought my old pedestal would fit but I was wrong. I ordered it online. It was in stock and available for delivery. I needed it to be installed since my husband was out of town and couldn't do it on my own. I've ordered it separately before, dryer from Home Depot and pedestal from Best Buy, and didn't have a problem with Best Buy installing it for me. Home Depot showed install was free with delivery so I didn't think twice about ordering it from Home Depot. No where in the ordering process did it state that they would not install if the dryer was not from Home Depot. Delivery day the 3rd party delivery guys arrived and stated it was not to be installed only delivered but they would do it for me for $50 bucks. I was very confused and upset it was stated in my order free install with no other information about Home Depot's policy. The online chat was also extremely rude and would only take a return. This is a deceptive practice. This is the last time I will purchase anything from this chain. I would like to add that there was no hardware included with the pedestal. Learned my lesson. Next time I will use Costco or Best Buy since I've never had any problems with them in the past. So long Home Depot. Customer service gets a big F and there was no value using Home Depot only headaches. read more

Amazing, inviting, and fresh... the plant selection is good but the color is amazing! Truly a great lace to get your gardening on. I visited the Home Depot in New Braunfels this morning for a few bags of fill dirt. Many of the bags were busted open with dirt all over the floor and the aisle was filled with trip hazards. The un-busted bags were up too high to reach. I let the cashier up front know and she diligently tried several times by phone (it was broken) and a handy talkie that no one answered after 5-6 times. I finally called the store and spoke with someone up front who sent a lady named DeDe to the register and all she did was complain to the cashier! After about 10 more minutes, a guy named Devon came and was looking all around the back and finally came up front and started getting snappy because no one was back there. I told him maybe he should have come to the front to begin with so then he lost it and accused me of talking mean to him and he was doing me a favor. These sorts of things happen regularly at that particular store. Many aisles are always closed or heavily cluttered. The line manager promised to confront the rude "take-with" but I think I should avoid that Home Depot with the plague. Take your chances if you wish. read more

Bought a refrigerator I was told that it would take 3 days to get it delivered to my house, the day of the delivery a guy from Home Depot called me saying that they couldn't found my address in maps I send them a pin of the location of my house since is a new neighborhood and the street is not in maps yet even I sent them photos of the street, I was told that he was on his way and would be there in 20 minutes after 5 minutes I received a message saying that my order got rescheduled another 3 more days with the excuse that they couldn't find my address after I sent them a pin with my location, don't waste time with these people go to Lowe's service is faster and better. read more

Phone left off the hook on Friday July 21st 3pm and has been off for the entire day. Called the other one home depot in the immediate area and all were helpful in my questions. This location feels entitled to just ignore a corporations employee policy protocol. Paying for a phone line to help the customers they're blatantly ignoring. Wasting a businesses money to provide horrible customer experiences can't be good to the bottom line profits. Maybe look into why this location doesn't adhere to policy in regards to phone inquiries. Definitely horrible customer service at this location. I can just imagine what curbside or online order customers are experiencing. Pathetic to even know management allows this blatant lack of concern for customer satisfaction. Forwarded to wait while the line rang for over 30 minutes on speaker. That was enough to know they wouldn't pickup. Home depot customer service rep this day just felt that they earned a in store vacation away from responsibility. Got to love the people that are hired to stand around and figure out how to avoid on the job duties. Talk about giving pay raises. Give the customer service here a bonus and pay bump. They have definitely found a way to steal pay checks. Might as well make it a hefty one so they really reap the rewards of no work ethic. I spend a LOT of time and money in big box lumber stores. I usually don't go to Home Depot because it's out of the way. Today I did and forever after I will be going completely out of my way to go somewhere else. I arrived on a Friday mid afternoon. Not a lot of people, most of the contractors had already come in the morning, and it seemed like a good time. So I go to what I needed and then I had to wait for someone to help. There's not much you can pick up at Home Depot that you need help, but unfortunately for me I did. I literally waited 10 minutes and NO ONE came by. Then I played that game. You know where the lion looks at the gazelle and the gazelle act as if they don't see them and wander off. I try to get eye contact and everyone makes a turn and takes off. Finally I run one of them down. He says no problem, I'll call someone. I'm watching the watch now. I'm waiting and five minutes later they guy is shocked to see me again. "Any moment now". Five minutes later I track another guy. "I'll call someone" and he turns around with the radio in his hand and walks across the entire store until he faded into the horizon and the radio never went higher than his waist. Final attempt and then I just walked out. The management in this store needs to walk around a bit. THey need to work on their customer service surveys like crazy. There is NO WAY I will ever go there as trying to get someone to help is insane. I can't wait until Amazon seriously enters their space. I'll likely continue to go to their main competitor, but there's got to be better options. read more

After an hour of asking for help, Pam finally showed up. During our conversation another customer walks up and asks her for tape. After she hands him some, she rolls her eyes at him as he walks away! I purchased a washer and dryer from the appliance department at the Home Depot store in New Bruanfels, TX on 11/27. Delivery was scheduled for 12/1. Delivery people reported that they left a note on the door. I was waiting on the front porch for the 4 hour wait period so the obviously did not leave a note on the door. Delivery was rescheduled for 12/8. Delivery people installed and tested the machines - the washer did not work so both washer and dryer were returned the same day. I was told that I would receive a refund within 2 - 3 business days. I called today 12/13 to find out why the refund was not credited to my card by now. Now they are telling me that it will take 7 - 10 business days - so Home Depot has had $1500 for 3 weeks and I will not actually get funds back until 12/18!! DO NOT SHOP APPLIANCES AT HOME DEPOT!!! read more

On the day that I'm writing this review after going to the store looking for a particular item. I was looking for something i saw on their website. After searching where it should I looked it up and an employee looked up the item where the item was located and took me directly to it. My boyfriend and I were shopping for lumber for a home project. The wood saw used for cutting lumber has not been working. This wouldn't have been big deal, however the associate that we asked for assistance was especially rude/ dismissive of our requests (on two separate occasions). The first time he rushed us saying "make it quick", and acted like we were inconveniencing him. On the second occasion he was annoyed that we asked him for help and said he would call the associate in charge of lumber, but got on his walkie-talkie and continued to do what he was doing before- completely ignored us and inched away from us. Not okay! We will be back because this is the ONLY Home Depot in NB. I WILL find out this guy's name and report his shitty customer service. I've been to this store 3 times and each time I've had to deal with complete idiots. Not one person could answer a single question. They were not difficult questions. The questions were about vacuums and the fake owls that scare off birds. Each person scratched their heads and couldn't figure out how to answer. It was like it was choreographed. It looked like they have been like that for a while. I was so sad at the sight of it I was looking for the water hose myself. I did find the watering handle but no hose.
