Loved the updates e-mailed along the way. Once there they didn't have some items and I needed some others. That was super easy and the folks who work their processes are spot on. The local staff was super customer oriented and appreciated it. Only down side is that one of the five cans looked like it was used as a soccer ball. Maybe they went old school and played "Kick the Can." I don't know if this hurts things like vegetables, but it was a bit disconcerting. I just used that one first and we were good to go.

The prices are very competitive and they had just about everything I needed. I was able to get several swatches and then come back for sample containers to determine the right color for the wall. I love how the accent wall turned out and it's all because of Rooster's high quality paint and quintessential customer service! One thing to note, they close at 3pm on Saturdays so if you find yourself running out of paint you better get over there before they close or you'll have to wait until Monday to finish your project. Corporate level and down treat their employees at stores like complete crap. You are not respected and made to feel like you are a bother and nuisance if anything goes wrong that is beyond your control, even if it concerns your own safety. Store managers show that they could care less about their employees and half of them are lazy, rude, incompetent drunks who pretend to work while everyone else slaves away. Some can't even show up on time to open the store at the correct hour. Corporate staff thinks it's okay to embarrass employees at training events by talking about things that happened to them at their store, in front of the whole training class. Meanwhile, the accommodations are old and terrible and there is no company point of contact if you need something. The female leader of the training is totally rude and does not respect attendees' time only giving three 3-4 min breaks for a 10 hour class. There is ZERO safety culture at this company other than to blame employees for things they didn't know about because of bad management and inexistent communication. You will be doing dangerous things everyday and the company is too cheap to pay for the appropriate attire to wear while doing these things. They want more Spanish speakers at their stores, yet half the people who apply and say they speak Spanish in fact do not. Yet there is no Spanish test given beforehand to be sure they do. So these lying cheats receive additional compensation to do something they can't even do just because they "look" like they can. This hurts the stores and their customers since they are looking translations up on the internet all day. The prices they now charge for paint are utterly ridiculous, frustrating customers. That combined with all the other things mentioned, it's safe to say this is not a place you will want to stay and grow a career with. Stay away. It will save your mental sanity, and your back too.

They wanted us to see the paint on our house before making a final decision as to the color we wanted. They accidentally did not bring any stains for our cedar post and railings. In talking with them, they suggested we go to this paint store and pick up samples of stain to help us make a decision on stain color. We drove to this store as it is less than 10 miles from our house. Driving up, we were able to get a front door parking spot as they had no business. We walked in and immediately saw the area of the store dedicated to stain and walked to it. The stain area is laid out nicely and allows you to observe what they have. They also have brochures to answer your questions. We noticed that they had 4 employees working in the store, and they were happily talking with each other. After about 5 minutes, we never had anyone approach us to see if they could help. We had some questions and decided to go to them. As we approached the counter, the help was laughing and giggling and just having a fun time. We laid our stuff on the counter and waited. They never even acknowledged our being there. After several minutes, we discussed leaving, and getting no response, we turned and walked out of the store. Will I return? In one word: NO!!!
