Ive been in many Home Depot's....lost and alone as a woman...and this one a gentleman helped me on Christmas Eve 2025 as I was about to abandon mission....which was a present for my parents (and me too, haha) for the garden. I went through the whole store (also b/c I had to use the restroom), and checked out every aisle (also bc its cool), but when I got to the garden center, I went outside, inside, outside, inside twice and that's when I got noticed and helped....found my missing item and he was extremely helpful with providing me a cart and telling me where things were. Thank you, stranger, for going out of your way and being friendly and helpful!! It was the bird feeders. They get lost in the shuffle for sure. Hiding, I tell you! Anyway, great HD! read more

This Home Depot is relatively clean and relatively organized. Every now and again, they have some good stuff pop up on the clearance racks at the endcap in the middle of the store. For the most part, their garden center is well attended and well organized. The management seems to care and take pains to keep the store looking good and operating smoothly. Often times I will drive down here to go to the store even though the Lane Avenue one is much closer because it's a much more pleasant experience. read more

I ordered a custom made window in januari. they made me pay 100% up front. informed me it would take 4 months after I placed the order. window arrived broken. 'Expidited' reorder took 3 months. delivery was rescheduled x2 AFTER the delivery time window had passed. The the window was the wrong size. I finally cancelled the order. 7 months without a window in my home office. they did not pay me interest on the money they held for that time. I lost about $1200 in income because I had to cancel clients for 4 different 4 hour delivery time frames with nothing to show for it. how do these people stay in business?? oh...because of loyal fools like me. read more

I ordered paint online curbside the curbside was closed so my boyfriend went to the store to pick it up I called ahead and told them he was coming they said he needed to show his DL and they would call me apparently Home Depot does not allow a long distance call I don't not have an 904 area code I called them and they told me next time I need to put an alternate person to pick up well that wasn't an option online. I ordered an item 10 days ago to pick up and I have gone twice to pick it up and the only thing they can tell me is that the order was lost on the way and they only make me go again another day and they tell me the same thing again I think it is the Worst Home Depot I've ever been to. Went in to buy a whirlpool dryer but ended up with a maytag, as recommended by the clerk (Paul). Apparently, maytag was bought by whirlpool so there is no difference in quality and design. Also, got an upright freezer (whirlpool). The clerk was super friendly and nice, making the purchase process a pleasant experience! The place is relatively clean and well organized, typical of Home Depot. A day later, my wife went back to have a delivery date changed. The clerk was also very accommodating and super friendly, cracking jokes with us. Great experience in this place! read more

I went in needing a replacement bolt(?) and accessories for a dining room chair. I headed down the front section completely lost as usual. An employee made eye contact and I asked her to help me find a copy of (I just had to show her the thing as I didn't have a clue) what I needed. She walked me right to the section, used this handle little bolt-sized fitter to verify width and then picked out the bolt, washer and lock nut for me. She asked me questions I wouldn't have even thought of in my own without some serious Googling like, "is it an indoor chair or an outdoor?". She humbly educated me as quickly as helped and she was completely awesome! The cashier was also friendly and full of infectious smiles. Deliberately so we could call them back out. The second time home Depot sent them out my home was flooded out my home was only two years old. The air conditioning drain pipe was blown out. This Home Depot is my go to one. Prices are better than their local competition in almost every single category and they are usually stocked up on whatever I'm looking for. I'm not sure if they price match online competitors, and if so then it will make me shop here a little more often ( I should ask next time I'm here). The food stand outside the exit door during daylight hours pours out a pleasant aroma when you first walk into the entrance door and you can still smell it at the register while checking out! Damn my cravings, I usually pick up a Italian sausage on the way out when time permits. I've also rented a couple of tools from here also, just make sure it's clean when you return it and there will be no issues :) This isn't necessary Home Depot's fault but the Orange Park traffic sucks which sometimes sends me to the one on the west side but 1/3 chance they have what I want in stock. read more

Went to this location to shop for Halloween decorations on yesterday and found very little selection. I found displays of 6 ft moving witch , twin ghosts and a skeleton dog. Able to locate the dog and twin ghost in a box but no witch. Asked sales associate for assistance on locating the witch it was determined that the display was the only one No price . Asked associate if it was for sale and how much since it was the display. Associate stated the manager would have to if it can be sold . Store manager comes looks for sales price via the internet then says $99 so asked if that was sales price for display and he said yes. Advise the display was not in the best condition due too it was out on floor no discount he says no . never been to a store who sales used items full price just shaking my head read more

Me & my grandmother has been here on separate occasions and also together a few times. Most of the older employees seems to not be happy. They "sign" whenever they notice a customer is walking towards them and their answers are nonchalantly quick and short. Most of the time "we don't have it" or just *points in a direction*. I've switched to home depot online shopping instead to avoid dealing with Greg attitudes. (Save gas and time too). I think that location needs new and young energy. Just my opinion. read more

Who doesn't know what is Home Depot? No metter if you like this place or don't you go there because it's close to your house and there is no alternative except Lowe's. May be some places Ace Hardware. What I like about Home depot is Tool Rental. If you don't have pick up truck or some power tools it's great to bu what you need and deliver on pick up truck. Main difference between stores is people who works in them. So I always try to get names and mention good employees vs not so much. We're looking into remodeling some of the rooms in our home, and Home Depot is always our go to. I was in the area yesterday so I figured I would stop and look at some new fixtures and what-not. The customer service at this location was probably some of the best I had received. I had quite a few associates ask if I needed any assistance in finding anything. I declined but it was nice to be asked! I rarely find that in any other Home Depots I've been too. I also feel like this is one of the best organized stores I've seen. I had no problems finding the paint section, which I ultimately took home some samples. Even the check out was fast! We will definitely return to this location to purchase any materials we need in the future. read more

Home Depot has a corporate policy the Military Veterans can not receive discounts on fencing. This is a fairly new policy (2013). I'm a retired military member and also disabled Veteran due to injuries in the Gulf War. It makes no sense not to allow veterans to receive discounts on all items at Home Depot. The discount would have less than $10.00. Now Home Depot is about to lose a customer of over 30 years for 10.00. Doesn't make good Bussiness sence. I have told many of my fellow vets, friends and family. Home Depot please change this policy before I and other Vets have to find other home improvement stores that will reward us for our selfless sacrifices. read more

Sold me a set of blinds without the hardware. Gave them the measurements of the blinds and asked if they could have them at the desk for an even exchange and they said I would have to find them myself. We have used Home Depot for fence, windows and last flooring. The fencing and windows we were satisfied enough with, but the vinyl plank flooring was a nightmare from the get go. Over estimated and charged us for more product than we needed, the installation was at best low to mediocore. The installers left thick black plastic sticking out if the trim, they had cracked a threshold, and some of the trim was not glued done, these obvious things were found on inspection after completion. We found a damaged plank and it took five weeks and 12 phone calls from me before they came and repaired what was supposed to be under warranty which they obviously tried to get out of, even though it was a ten minute repair. We will never use or recommend Home Depot because of this ridiculous event, which if it wasnt for my 12 phones calls, they would have ignored. Plenty of contractors around that are not as sub par as the ones they use. read more

We had carpet installed by Home Depot of Orange Park, Florida on 30 June 2020 .which we bought 10 June 2020.Which was suppose to install on the 29th call that morning and said the installers didn't come in today and asked to install next morning. They showed up did work and left , day after we noticed carpet lower then tile adjoining rooms. Called installer company and Home Depot, who was hired by Home Depot to the job. They (installing company) that it needed a carpet lift and that was extra charge of $325 out of my pocket. Home Depot of Orange Park told me if I pay the installer company the $325 after that with receipt that they would refund me $100 for the installer company not showing up on the 29th. I don't understand why the installers didn't tell me about the carpet and tile rooms needed the lift. Until after I completed. Home Depot never mentioned about any attaching rooms height could be a problem. I will never use Home Depot or there installed again, and worn any prospected buyers be wear . read more

Tool repair department. There is a gentleman Wayne that works there and i have taken numerous peices of lawn equipment there. He is very good at his job. He knows his job well and is very helpful. I highly recommend anyone to see him if they have any questions regarding their tools. As for the rest of the store- they are all very nice. This is a good homedepot. Went with my sister in law to get ideas for backyard gardening and air conditioning the garage. We walked in expecting expertise and not customer service, surprisingly we got both. A worker gave us honesty when he said he didnt know about herb gardening and took us to an awesome guy who did. Indoors, a lady named Gretchen helped us decide our options and costs for ac units in layman's terms. When we were exploring in the store, employees kept asking how we were and if we had any questions (never in miami). The only reason why its not 5 stars is because we have to get alot of our stuff @ the online store and some plants looked subpar. read more

Was looking for an employees in flooring I spoke to before. When I asked Cheryl if she would page her for me she said she could not because she was in delivery. She told me to go back to the service desk and ask them. Confusing to me since there was a phone sitting on the desk right in front of us. Another associate picked up the phone and asked them to please page the flooring lady. Feeling very irritated to be shoved to the side when I literally spend thousands of dollars her a year. Now I'm sitting here at the flooring desk and still no one has came to help me. It's been about 10 minutes. Employees walk by without saying anything!! I did end up walking back to the service desk as no one showed up. In the end the ladys at the service desk found someone to help me and turned this otherwise horrible experience in to a much better one. All I ask is that you at least try to help and to remember what customer service is all about. read more

Less stars if I could. Do not buy a refrigerator at Home Despot. They are in conjunction with rain soft a very aggressive company that sells water softeners. They called and harassed us from the Home Depot number. 1 800 466-3337. And said they were going to show the features of the refrigerator and test our water. Ha. What a gimmick. When they showed up we had figured out what was going on so we didn't let them in. We got nasty harassing calls from the above number. Called the manager of the store who said he would look into it. I made the mistake of telling him I had an insulting message from their number. Next time I looked for the voice mail it was gone. This is a very dishonest company.
