The Home Depot is a staple stop in my household. We go monthly at this point - for my mom's garden needs. While we are aware Home Depot may not be the best location for ALL garden needs, it is still a very solid one and it's super close. We also go for various home projects, but majority of our foot traffic is for my mom's garden maintenance. Anyways, they happened to be having a sale that day on pavers, so, we got enough to add to my mom's garden alongside various other herbs and veggies she was looking to plant / grow. They have a pretty good selection of various herbs, veggies and fruits that you can grow / manage yourself in at-home gardens. Naturally, they have nearly all the tools you could think of to aid in this process. Pricing is reasonable for the most part - pending what it is you are buying. I also left with a new plant baby for my office desk (a snake plant). The staff are always kind and helpful. No complaints really. We've been coming to this location for YEARS! So, we are LOYAL customers at this point. And I'm sure we will be back again next month. read more

Just went to the Home Depot by my house I've been going to for 15 years to return. Several items was told by the returns person who have never seen before that you need a credit card you bought it with a receipt the receipt obviously doesn't last past two weeks because they are thermal and they fall apart and my credit card was compromised that I told him that he runs a store. Credit can't be done. I told him to get a manager because this is ridiculous with extras. then spoke to some manager his name begins with an E telling me that you can't return anything without the credit card the date do you amount I'm like I'll be coming here for 15 years. I've never had to do this last time I had to return something it took five minutes, but I did not have a receipt or credit card and ask for a corporate phone number when you was not gonna do anything, and if this is the way you treat my customers I'm gonna start going to Lowe's. They didn't have any of what I was looking for on this day, but there are always things I can find in the home improvement store. They still had a ton of Christmas merchandise available as well as all the usual items. Prices are usually pretty good in their stores and I've always had fairly good service. This morning I and I picked up a few things from Goodwill to repurpose - with that being said I needed to pick up some sandpaper and some spray paint and some regular paint. I know if you're not sure about a color and you don't want to get the big gallon size bucket of color they do sample colors; which is honestly perfect to paint my thing that I bought at Goodwill. I got the Behr in Daisy yellow! I'm honestly so excited I can't wait to go home and send it off and clean it and paint it! Oh I love coming to this Home Depot every one is SO nice!!! Came here today looking for some ant killer. I couldn't find it at first and asked a lady working there and she helped me find exactly what I needed. While I was looking another employee was telling me about the product and how it helped him at his house. The employees so are nice and friendly! The overall store is very nicely put together. The only thing I don't like and call me old fashioned but I'm not a fan of self checkout. There are no more registers open anymore and it's all self check out. read more

In the shopping plaza area across from the Millenia Mall area. The parking lot area is chaos, so that is off-putting, but this location is solid. They have their own parking lot that's pretty far off from the other stores, so it's easy to find a close spot for this store. We headed in here to look at fence options because we would like to add a short fence to our front yard to provide a safe play area for our little. We also needed some grass seed to help regrow our backyard area grass. They had everything we were looking for and we got some pricing out options for fence building. We bought and left with some grass seed and a single fence post to replace one that rotted out of our back fence. The store was clean and organized however the lack of employees out on the floor to assist if you had questions was disappointing so I had to utilize my cell phone to find products in the store. When we made it to the checkout the young man at the self checkout was very friendly and assisted us with scanning a larger item without us having to ask. Overall a not so bad an experience. There is literally no customer service. I ordered 10 cement blocks online for curbside pickup, downloaded the app, checked in to let them know I was there, and waited 30 minutes. Went inside to see where my order was (kind of defeats the purpose of curbside pickup- which I used because I knew I couldn't handle those cement blocks) and all the cash registers were unmanned and there was one person at the service desk with a long line. Some associates milling around but wouldn't make eye contact with me and scurried away when they saw me looking like I was going to ask for help.Virtual assistant told me to call the store but I was 20 minutes in hold. READ BEFORE PURCHASING AC FROM HOME DEPOT. After extensive research, we decided to order the 12,000BTU unit. We initially ordered it online, only to come home to find the box at our front door damaged without any alert of its arrival. The box had several dents, two holes, and what looked like black mold at one of the corners. I could also see through the holes that a portion of the ac unit was dented. We were obviously concerned about possible coolant leaks and the black mold, so we immediately took it back outside the house. When we used the chat feature for customer service, a representative told us that they can schedule delivery of another unit, but we would have to bring the damaged one back to a store for a refund. Obviously, we were disappointed that they would not pick up their damaged product. We then expressed our concerns about the safety of transporting this unit as there could be possible leaks, and with the visible mold on the box, we felt uncomfortable handling it or placing it in our vehicle. We also expressed our concern that the next unit may also arrive in a damaged box. The representative informed us "It's life, and stuff happens." As the conversation continued, the representative clearly became more upset as their responses became ruder, and we them that we were unsatisfied with that response. After approximately 40 minutes of conversation, the representative informed us they would not want to continue going back and forth with us because they had other clients to assist. This was also an unacceptable response as the issue still wasn't resolved, so we requested to be transferred to a manager, who promptly reached out to us and who were very apologetic. The manager offered to have the broken unit picked up in 2 to 3 days, and they confirmed that the nearest Home Depot (Millenia #6367), approximately 18 miles away, had 9 units in stock. We thanked the manager and told them we appreciated their assistance and confirmed that we would make the drive to pick up the new unit. The manager offered a voucher equal t 20% of the product for the inconvenience. When we arrived at the Millenia #6367 Home Depot , many of the boxes looked damaged, but we were able to find one box that visibly looked like it was in good condition. However, when we got home and began the installation of the new unit, we discovered that unit had several dents in the back and a strange yellow stain on top where the air blower is. We took a closer look at the tape, we noticed that it was looked like it had come off and had been reattached. We then concluded that this was a used and damaged unit. Obviously upset and disappointed yet again, we took the unit to our local Home Depot (3 miles away). We spoke to customer service manager, who was appalled by what happened and were very kind and apologetic. We did not want to make the 90 min round trip to the other Home Depot unless we knew they had an undamaged unit, which the Customer Service Manager completely understood. We then asked the Customer Service Manager at our local Home Depot if they could please contact the Millenia #6367 Home Depot to confirm that they had an undamaged unit. They happily agreed and made the call, but the other store refused to go and open any of the boxes to check. This was incredibly frustrating once again, but we thanked the Customer Service Manager who assisted us and asked for our refund, then washed our hands of this entire endeavor and left. As of right now, we have returned 1 unit to store for a refund and we have a 2nd unit waiting to be picked up on our covered front porch, so that we may receive that 2nd refund. Now we are currently waiting for a 3rd unit from Amazon, who hopefully will have either better results than Home Depot, or in the least, a better customer service experience. read more

I went to this Home Depot one day because it is very close to where I work. The moment I walked in it reminded me of the Lowe's Home Improvement near my house. Since I am not familiar with this location, I sought the assistance of an employee, and asked him to direct me where the toilet seats are. He was extremely helpful, knew exactly where I needed to go. In most cases the employees take you there, but I was OK with the directions he gave me. Located my toilet seat, picked up a flapper that I needed. Everyone back at the house is happy. She's also from Mexico and we were treated terribly in these stores and tell the truth. I paid off my balance and canceled my card after having these experiences for two years and all the stores in Florida this is one of the worst stores I've ever been in my life. I'm not a big fan at the Home Depot, but I've had comments made to me every time you should know where this stuff is your contractor I said I don't know where everything is dude this Home Depot all over the country. We're in 40 different states we have the same thing the time and one Home Depot we were up north they a bit cold for Mexicans? I said excuse me they have also said things to me and my crew like company spent almost $1 million with the Home Depot. We had a bunch of cards with them, but we canceled them and paid off our balance because we don't into a racist company this store in manager is a real person and treated me like an me they didn't have windows like I said my other I walked don't wanna help me because I'm Hispanic from Mexico and they look down on my Haitian employee come in and buy things well let me tell the Home Depot or something my employees make $175,000 a year and a lot more than their management over the last few years they have some of the most expensive junk product husky Hampton Bay HD act it's all garbage we go on a German website or we go to Lowe's and we buy the finest quality stuff so we can charge our customers and clients a lot less unfortunately due to the Home Depot when I was stupid at the stores I had to pay higher prices and I had to charge my customers higher and I didn't feel right about it so I canceled my card paid off my balance will never enter this Home Depot again they're really bad places I think because we're know where everything is one of the worst Home Depot in the state of Florida company is terrible and doesn't care about or contractors card holders. UPDATE: I went back a few days afterwards, slightly later after 1:30 p.m., and the flooring person available then was extremely helpful. He was able to schedule the estimator to come out right away, in fact the next day, so now I can get my flooring order started soon. I saw luxury vinyl planks then, which include substrate material and are waterproof and seem like a great solution. Plus I got free samples readily available to take home for review. ORIGINAL: I was originally very disappointed on my recent weekday, lunchtime visit. The selection is very good they have updated materials and many good deals. Unfortunately the service is horrible the first time I went. It appeared nobody wanted to help any customer. The flooring salesperson was three-quarters reclined in his chair shooting the breeze with a woman clearly not even working. Not once were we acknowledged as we approached making eye contact, asking if they were going to be very long. Then as we inquired about toilets that were available in specific finishes and kits, were directed to order online ourselves. if the person didn't work there he should have offered to get us some one that did. I was ready to make some major purchases due to a plumbing leak in my house and unfortunately I left with nothing but some deals on Lysol and an extension cord, plus flood lamps. Honestly no one we spoke to sounded like they were trained in product knowledge, let alone sales. I'm still waiting for my new credit card in the mail. The customer service wouldn't offer to look it up when I asked, instead she asked if I had the temporary card. I wanted to give a review due to the customer service I received from Home Depot. My son lives in Orlando, I live in Bradenton 2 hours away. His fridge died and he needed a new one. I applied for a Home Depot card to get the same as cash for 12 months financing. What a nightmare that ended up being with CitiBank. I was approved but never received the email giving me the card number after staying on the phone and speaking with a supervisor I never got any information. The sale ended at midnight I was on the phone from 9:30-11:15 PM. I finally gave up and charged it online through my other credit card, over $3000.00. I drove to Orlando and went to the store where my son had picked out his appliances and spoke with Kelly. What a wonderful, understanding person. She helped me cancel my order and repurchase my order wirh a savings of $200.00. My son orginally spoke with Grace who was wonderful as well, I did not meet Grace. The only thing was the delivery date was changed from Monday until Wednesday of this week. I was approved and had a Home Depot card. I also received the 12 month same as cash. I just can not say enough about Kelly and how willing she was to help me out. I owned a business for 30 years and customer service is very important and Kelly went beyond and above. Her customer service skills were awsome and very much appreciated. Home Depot should give her a gift card or recognition of some sort. Emplyees like this is hard to find. Thank you Grace and Kelly!!! We went here for the kids crafts day that occurs every first Saturday of the month. This location gives Capri sun juice drinks, water, and popcorn for the kids and adults with the craft packages they have. We have been to other locations and found this one to have the nicest staff and best amenities. It makes it worthwhile to shop here for home improvement needs as well! read more

I did a Penske truck rental at this Home Depot. Let just say it was the worst paid service I've been provided please stick with uhaul. My first experience with Penske was horrible and it will definitely be the last. I reserved a truck online for a 1 day rental, picked up the truck Wednesday at 3pm dropped off Thursday at 10am. I was told by the employee to drop the key in the Dropbox outside which I did. 2 days later received my summary statement I was overcharged. I went to the location saw the same employee and ask him about my overcharge the employee very nonchalantly told me he was off, no one checked the Dropbox the day prior and he just picked up the key from the Dropbox and return it in the system for the time he took it out after a whole day of no one check and told me to call customer service. Lol I asked him how can you just pick up a key from a Dropbox that haven't been checked for two day and overcharge someone and is that the company Dropbox process? never got a reply to that question. I called customer service was promise a call back or a follow it, nothing from the company. As I'm still waiting on my refund or even a call or email update, JUST HORRIBLE!!! I went to that Penske location 4 days in a row nothing they just don't care. My husband phone fell out his pocket in the truck I went back to ask if it was found. The same guy look me in the face and told me to call the 800 customer service I asked why do I need to call customer service for a lost and found in Florida can we just go and check the truck. He told me it was rented, I asked are the trucks cleaned before being rented out again he told me yes nothing was found, call customer service lol. Long story short my husband went back today spoke with someone else a lady this time who was also very rude but she allowed him to check the truck when he opened the door the phone was directly on the floor as soon as he opened the door. That mean the truck was never rented or cleaned he just didn't care to assist a customer. Penske is a horrible company because even with reaching out to customer service I still didn't get any assistance with my overcharge. I called back again today the lady on the phone Val operation coordinator at the land street location she was incredible as she tried to assist me. Home Depot Penske needs to get rid of those horrible, nonchalant, lazy, rude employees working the rental department both the guy and lady, especially the guy. This was suppose to be a easy couple hours rental transaction as I was local moving 10 mins away. This experience have been the most annoying and stressing process. I asked twice where to find something and each nailed it. Check out was easy today with no waiting (wow). All's great with HD but, omg, trying to get out of this shopping area is an EPIC FAIL! Not Home Depot's fault, but whomever designed the traffic pattern for this VERY BUSY area, needs to get into another profession or was this a prototype experiment? The traffic out can get soooooooooo constipated, you better plan to pee before you head out to your car. I'm not kidding. The trip out is just teetering on totally dysfunctional through grid lock. This is pretty common for this shopping area. Too many merging opportunities and just inadequate infrastructure for the volume of shoppers this shopping area experiences. I came to this Home Depot to pick up some paint (a large order), after making a phone order and payment the day prior. I was told by the Manager of the paint dept Kelly (absolutely professional and very helpful) that the paint would be at the customer service area for me to pick up the following morning. So, upon getting to Home Depot I made the customer service rep Ms. Darcy aware of this and she called the paint dept who stated that they hadn't worked on the order yet. At this point, I walked over to the paint dept and encountered one of the employee's there (Ronald) who seemed to be a disgruntled, rude and abrasive person. He dismissed me almost immediately as I asked about my order by cutting me off mid-sentence to say "Yea, they're working on it already". I said thanks and walked back to the Customer Service desk. The employee that was "working on my order" brought the paint to the customer service desk and as I was about to take it outside to load into my car I noticed that there were no stickers on the buckets indicating the color I chose. I asked which buckets were the colored ones and the worker stated that there was no color, and that this was all white paint. I had already been waiting about 45 minutes for them to "work on my order" which consisted of them literally putting paint right off the shelf onto a cart and bringing it to the front. I went back to the paint dept and spoke with Ronald and tried to clarify the order, to which he AGAIN interrupted me which at this point was ridiculous because they already massacred the order the first time and instead of listening to me try to clarify what I actually needed he started talking over me, as if I had nothing important to discuss or my time had not just been wasted. I had to ask him to be quiet and let me speak as this CLEARLY needed to be clarified with them so that I don't have to make another trip to their dept due to further negligence. They finally mixed the paint and brought it up. I took the paint to my car (was never offered help taking out 18 gallons worth of paint) and loaded it in my car. I went in the following day to return some things I didn't end up needing and ran into Princess at the customer service desk who said that the initial order that I had originally made with Kelly was actually up at the front the whole time for me and it was just never noted in the order notes that it was at the front. Communication seemed to be poor here and could have been avoided 100%. I am thankful that people like Ms. Darcy, Kelly and Princess work there, as they give that company a good name and are helpful and willing to apologize though it wasn't their mistake to apologize for. read more

Bought a toilet that was heavy, Kohler Santa Rosa, was on sale, saved $30, the lady working the self serve registers is always very nice, she came over, did a price check on a flashlight for me, then rang up the rest of my items. Curly hair Hispanic lady, very very cool girl who always says goodnight and friendly. then to my surprise as I started to try to load it in my truck the guy who was putting carts away as they were about to close ran over snd helped lift and load. Every time I go here, I find everything I am looking for if not more. I walk the lanes of product and gain inspiration of a new project. In full honesty though, their selection is almost overwhelming at times. Their staff is incredibly helpful. The first time I went in there, I was looking to build some shelves for my laundry room. A very kind team member in their lumber area worked with me to find the right wood and braces. Today I went to purchase some items for my shower. As soon as I walked in, there was a team member waiting there to answer any questions. He told me which location would be each item. I found them in no time. I don't tend to frequent home improvement stores but recently I was helping my aunt do a few things at her condo. Not sure if things are changing in the industry as a whole or I just got lucky but I was here on a busy Saturday afternoon and there were staff everywhere. They were very helpful I might add. Big shout out to Jeff in doors! He came to my rescue as I stood mystified by the choices of bi-fold doors. He even went as far as to run and get me a proper cart because even though I knew I needed a set of doors upon entering the store I had grabbed a traditional cart instead of one more suited for my door hauling needs. The staff are always around to answer questions and help out with providing extra ideas. Whether it's to upgrade, decorate, or creating a new area in the house the staff at Home Depot are very informative. I also recently found that the garden area is gorgeous here. The flowers, trees, green life are really well taken care of. Every plant comes with instructions advising what type of living conditions it can handle and it's needs. A kind staff member helped me pick a cactus for my porch, along with providing me with additional caring instructions. Home Depot helped me with becoming a plant owner. Hooray! read more

I stopped at Home Depot early Saturday morning to pick up a few things I needed. I went in the garden area entrance because I was looking for some potting soil. I asked the cashier where I could find a small bag and she immediately told me where I can find it. She was very pleasant and wish me a good day. From gloves to ladders to mailboxes to weed eaters, Mitch was extremely knowledgable, friendly, and patient. We found everything we needed and left confident we had made the correct purchases.
