UPDATE: I finally received the product at my home. Installer arrives to complete the installation.... and surprise! Same warped wood as the previous shipment. He could not install it. [SIGH] I called the store asked them to come get everything and refund my money. It's over two months now, I have a room that does not have a floor, the furniture is has been removed and waiting to go back into the room. I'm tired of dealing with this entire situation. The store sends two workers to pick up all the material. The next morning, I call to get an update on my refund. I leave a voice message. I get a call back saying they need to send someone to pick up the material. [SIGH] I inform them that their employees picked up everything the day before. I'm told they will check and call me back. I didn't get a call. The next day I call back for an update. Spoke to Manager Brian, he informed me he would look into and get back to me. He did call a few hours later saying he needed to get with the rep who work in the order. Okay. Never heard from Brian again. [SIGH] I called back for an update. I was then told a partial refund was given because they were having an issue returning the full order. [SIGH] I asked when I will see the full refund, and I was told the manager was handling that. I call the next day, spoke to the manager, and she says no refund was given, they had to escalate it to the corporate IT office because the system won't refund the order [SIGH]. So now the local store can't do anything, they have to wait for corporate IT to go in and fix it. 8 days later - I've had to call the corporate office to report the issue. They sent the request to the store manager - I get an update back that the refund was processed... For the wrong amount [SIGH]. The rep from the store calls to let me know the refund was processed. I inform her the amount is wrong. She looks, sees the discrepancy, asks if she can refund the difference on a purchase I made in May 2025, to a different card. I say fine just do it. The system won't let her refund it without the card, so I have to come into the store with the second card. Two months and 7 days ago - 67 days ago, I order and paid for a product. I have been patient throughout this entire ordeal. Two months and 7 days - 67 days later I'm still trying to get this resolved. Valuable lessoned learned here - I will stick to the local specialized businesses instead of shopping with box stores. Quality and time actually matter to me. read more

If I could give a zero I would. I ordered a LG dishwasher to replace the same LG dishwasher I bought 5 years ago from HD. 5 years ago it was delivered an installed with no problem. Today I was told I had to get my own plumber to install it because it was a longer run for the water (a 45% angle). Why was I not made aware that they only install short lines now? I would have never purchased from HD! The reason I was replacing the 5 year old dishwasher was that it was a LG piece of junk and in case I sell my property I want the set to match! We ordered a curtain rod from online Home Depot. Unfortunately, due to our brand new address, the shipment went to never-land and on the way back to shipper. So we had to come to the store and with my mind, I was not able to find the order and store employees could not find it. Finally Gina came and we got it squared away. She cancelled the order so we can pick up the rods we want from the store. we also went on and got a few ceiling fans for our new home and Gina helped up ringing up together with a note out to the Pros on the project of installing the fans for us. Fuck this Home Depot, I can't believe these places don't have tap to pay for a payment option, as one of the largest stores for tools and work related items, you refused to update your systems which are relatively new to tap to pay, this is absurd. I've done a lot of business with Home Depot over the years and now because "Apple" is a competitor according to one of the people on the floor they refuse to update their credit card machines to tap to pay. Unbelievable. And unacceptable. The people you have working at this location obviously have no idea between Apple Pay and the correlation of tap to pay which almost every debit or credit card has now. Well Home Depot got me a couple years back on a home air conditioning checkup. Charging me a small fortune to replace a $20.00 part, which I never saw or confirmed was bad. I trusted them so it was my mistake. Well Home Depot at 1140 Malabar rd. Palm Bay, Fl got me again. I bought a Ryobi grass blower a couple months back, and the battery won't hold a charge. I took the battery back a couple days ago, and was told there is no warranty on Ryobi tools or batteries. They told me I could call Ryobi if there is a number on the battery, which there wasn't, and see if they will do anything. Or they could sell me a new battery. This company has gone downhill as they used to stand behind what they sold. I am very disappointed with Home Depot. They are not the company they used to be. I am thinking I will be taking my business elsewhere. read more

This is a good Home depot. Been here a number of times mostly during the day, and anytime I've needed help there's been someone who can answer my questions. Sometimes I'd have to wait 5 - 15 minutes, which I find reasonable for the amount of experience answers I've ended up getting. When I need the staff, I've always been able to easily find someone walking around, and the were generally knowledgeable about locations. I remember several times asking for the place and usually the employees, young or old, knew which isle to find somethings. Occasionally down to the bay! The times they didn't they looked it up in their app and sent me the right way. Also, have had a number of returns and orders made at customer service, and always they've been helpful. read more

I am a disabled 61 yr. old man. I purchased a Troy Bilt riding mower from Home Depot. I also purchased the extended warrantee for $230. On July 29th I contacted their service center to file a claim. My mower had stopped running and I told them that I think the battery was dead. They created a claim and sent it to Causeway Motors in Indian Harbor, FL. It took them over a week to come to pick up the mower. I came home and the mower had been moved. I called CM and they said I should have told them it wouldn't start, and one person could not load it. I told the lady that I told her it wouldn't start when she called to set up the appointment.  So she knew that. At this point it was another week before they came to get the mower. While taking the mower they busted the base of my gate and bent the rod that secures the second side of the gate. I called a week later and I was told it needed a battery, carberator and something else I don't remember. I was told a week later that Home Depot (Ascurion) would cover all but the carb. That would run me $60. I told them that was fine. Over the next 5 months I called CM once or twice a month to find out the statis of the repair. I was told that they were waiting on the authorization for the carb repair. Next it was the part that was on delay due to shipping delays with Covid-19. We are now into November and I decided that I needed to contact Home Depots service center and see if they would be able to find out what is going on. I spoke with a guy at Ascurion that said he needed to call CM to find out what was going on. I was placed on hold so that he could contact CW for the statis. He said that they told him it would be ready in 3 days which would be Friday. He asked for my email address so that he could let me know what they were going to do and he was going to send this up to managers and he wanted to stay with this claim so that he could learn how to handle it the next time this problem came up. He placed me on hold and then about 15 minutes later the person from CM was telling me that my part had come in and would be ready by Friday the end of the week. Friday came and passed. I haven't heard from him since. We are now into December. I called Ascurion and spoke with Jessica and was placed on hold again. I told her before being placed on hold NOT to send my call over to CW for any reason. I explained all the issues they have told me and that is why I didn't want to speak with them again...When she returned, she said that the mower had been disposed of. She said she was sending this to upper management again for a solution. She said it would take about 1-3 days. I told her it sounds like they are fighting to see who had to pay this claim. She said that could be the case. I was then apologized to again and told that I should hear back by the 1-3 days as before. No response. Now it is the middle of Dec. I called Ascurion to check the statis again. The rep.Luchy told me that there was no result so far. She placed me on hold again. I stated not to transfer me to CW. She said she wouldn't. When she returned, she said that I could get a check or and e-card. She told me that I should have a check in about 3 days. I said I wanted it replaced as the warrantee states, not a check. Warrantee says repair/replace. She said that a check is the only resolve other than the e-card. I said that with all the issues I have had that I don't think I want to buy another mower from Home Depot if this is the way they handle customer service. I called on 12/20, to find out when I would receive the check that was promised. I spoke with Glen first and stated what was going on. He asked to place me on hold. I stated not to transfer me again. After about 15 minutes Jem answered and asked what was going on with my claim. I asked what happened to Glen? She said she was a supervisor, and I would be working with her. At this point I had to start over with an explanation of the claim. She placed me on hold. When she came back, she said that the claim is now with the owner of CW. They would be paying to claim, and I would have to deal with them for my refund. At this point I stated the fact that I have the warrantee with Home Depot not Causeway Motors. She said that I would have to work it out with Causeway Motors. I think that HD should take care of me, the customer, not place me in the middle of their problem. She again tried to tell me that CW disposed of the mower so it was their company that would have to pay me. I told her again that my warrantee is with HD/Ascurion. I then told her that I was not able to place out all my Christmas decorations this year because I didn't have a mower to pull my cart. All my decorations are in the shed and being disabled I am not able to carry all of them by hand. I asked what I needed to do next? I said that I guess I need to contact BBB, Channel 9, and maybe place it on my post to my contacts. I asked her again, she had hung up on me. Unhappy in Palm Bay read more

Went Christmas tree shopping at The Home Depot on Malabar Rd in Palm Bay the week before Christmas & was very disappointed by the lack of help on the night we went tree shopping.We looked at several trees without any offer of assistance, so we left & went to a few other places around town. We decided to go back to Home Depot the following day and we found what appeared to be a decent tree. The same person was working that day, we took the tree over to where they trim & net it.We were instructed to go pay for the tree and the clerk would trim the tree trunk and have it ready to go when we came back. We took the tree home only to find that the clerk cut too much of the tree trunk to where it would not stand in the tree holder unless we cut more of the lower branches off!!! I had an unpleasant experience with one of the shed companies that Home Depot carries. The situation became so stressful for me I decided to cancel the order, however wasn't sure how quickly the company would respond. I stopped at Home Depot on Malabar Rd and Gina at the Customer Service desk listened patiently to my list of concerns. I provided her with my invoice from the company and she said she would follow through. This morning I received my acknowledgement of cancellation from the company, and this afternoon my credit card was refunded by Home Depot. It doesn't get better than this. Kudos to Gina for top notch customer service and to Home Depot for giving her the tools to correct the situation quickly. read more

The purchase is a new dishwasher. The pricing is fair and store sales staff was prompt and friendly. The installation vendor is a joke. The driver walked in the door and started looking for reasons he was unable to do the installation. 1) "The sink is on the right of the dishwasher and most on on the left." What difference does it make? They are side by side and I paid for all new hook up hoses. 2) "The piping is copper." This is totally baffling because copper water lines are standard. 3) "The on off valve was old." What difference does it make it turns on and off easily and it fully functioning. 4)"it was damp under the sink." Heck yes. I just finished wiping everything down with Lysol cleaner for the install. 5) Since it was damp the delivery guy started moving around the reverse osmosis tank and a slow drip started. OMG by his reaction, you'd think the sky was falling. He was at my house no more than 5 minuets and had already expressed his desire to do a delivery only without the install a minimum of 3 times. He came here looking to find reasons to get out of doing the install. Then he calls his boss, takes his clip board and heads out the front door. Not so much as a single word or resolution. Nope, he just gets in his truck and drives away. I can see the truck in the street immediately call the phone number that was used call me an hour before for the arrival time but no answer. Then I called customer service and I'm told that they can't bring the dishwasher back because there isn't a truck available. What about the truck it's on? Needless to say The delivery and installation portion of my purchase is pretty unsatisfying. Next time I'll hire a plumber. It took four scheduled appointments and ultimately the dishwasher was delivered by Home Depot service but installed by others. I finally spoke with someone at the delivery service who got it. And after being lied to by the warehouse/delivery service herself I did get a refund for the install and a $75 credit for my inconvenience. read more

According to H.D. advertisement, they match prices plus 10% off the item of your choice. Went there with an ad from Lowe's for a Whirlpool wall oven for $899.00. Home Depot price $100.00 more, 999.00. They will match price (bid deal) but won't give you the extra 10% even though you order it in the store. Since they have no wall ovens in the store, they won't give me the discount of 10% that they advertise big time. Way to go Home Depot. Keep up the false advertising. read more

Horrible, horrible experience! i went in to have the locks on a house i just purchased in the area re-keyed since Home Depot carried the specific locks the house had. To begin with at least 5 employees walked past me completely ignoring me standing there. I walk over to the cashier across aisle who was watching the whole thing and asked if she could call someone because i had 4 locks i needed to be rekeyed. With huff she turned to walk away saying (facing the opposite direction form me) she'd call someone. 15 minutes later one of the previous associates that pretended i was invisible walked over and barked "we don't re-key locks people bring in, if you want new keys you have to buy new locks". perplexed, because I literally just had some done at another store a few weeks earlier, i said "Other stores do without an issue" to which exclaimed "it is home depot's policy for ALL stores, you did NOT have locks rekeyed at another store!". Um ok, so with that it was clear i was not welcome in this Home Depot, which is a shame I used to spend quite a bit of money at the one where I moved from. read more

I like shopping at HD. They have some great sales. I am a disabled veteran and love being able to get a 10% discount when I shop. Unfortunately, it appears I can not get a discount on everything like before. I purchased lumber, plumbing and electrical supplies recently and discovered no military discount. It was great when it was available. I am doing a lot of work around the house and will need to continue making purchases. In order to save money I will need to start making my purchases in your competitor's store. read more

I will never shop at this place again.... Came here on sunday to grab a few herbs and soil for the garden. Orices were good no problem finding anything, but the check. Checking out at the garden center the cashier kindly asked to sign up for a store card. I said no then she asked once again and explained it would only take 3 min. So i figured why not it will save us some money. 10 minutes later she cannot still reach whomever she is trying to call. So se go inside so she can directly talk to whom ever. Im now there 20 min the manager is taking her sweet time getting to us. Thats when id had enough and we left without the stuff we came to get. Never in my life have i got this kind of run around and aggresive sales tactics just for wanting a few herbs and soil. Cashier was very sorry for the whole thing but management needs to pick up there speed. read more
