Had to take a 2nd trip to Home Depot because the lock nuts I bought at the other one didn't fit even though I screwed the original nut on the sample screws they had. I went one size up to an #8-32 so we'll see. This is a different Home Depot than my last visit and I have to safe it was a much better experience. When I walked in I was greeted instantly my customer service where I did my return. The return was easy and quick. I was greeted a second time when walking the aisles looking for the item I needed. It would be so nice if all the Home Depot's had the same basic layout so it took a little while to find the bolts. Check out was quick, there was no line and I did self checkout. The girls working self checkout were very friendly and also greeting customers as they entered the store. I always appreciate great customer service. Hopefully these bolts fit! read more

I went to buy some blinds for my home, a female named Michelle helped me out, I told her the exact measurements of my window and that I needed a half inch smaller so they can fit, and she replies to me with attitude that the machine always does that automatically and gave me a bad look. I have lived near this Home Depot for 13 years and have not had great experiences with it. Today was a complete surprise. The staff was friendly. I got help right away in the paint department. And then i went to buy my screen door, OMAR helped me. What a delightful young man. He was knowledgeable of the product, guided me through the delivery process, and offered advice. Love this location, this is where I find my air plants . I'm not so much of a handyman but I can try to fix things. I came today for the garden section. I love flowers and in this location it seems there are more variety of fruit trees , blooming flowering plants as well as artificial decorative plants. I moved to the area in 2021, and we usually visit this store and the store on Sierra Avenue. We are homeowners, so we are constantly buying stuff for our home. Yesterday, we went in for cleaning supplies, and salt for our water filtration system. Although I do not like this store, it is closer to our home than the one on Sierra Avenue. Everything was fine until I walked to the self check out. The lady standing there started scanning my items, and I asked her several times to stop; I didn't need assistance or ask for help. I would have gone to the register with a person if I needed assistance. The worker responded that she had nothing to do. Well, that's the store's problem. It's self check out. If you don't want people using it, close it and ask us to go to the register instead of harassing regular customers and minding our business, and please give your employees something to do since, over her statements, she was bored. From now on, we'll go to Lowe's even if it's further away to avoid this store and employees bored at work harassing customers. read more

Today I went to visit the Paint Department for questions about a new house project and I was extremely satisfied with the services provided to me. I was attendted by Dan, one of the employees from the department. He was patient and eager to listen to my concerns about what paint I should be and how it'll look on my house. He recommended several options while explaining why certain colors would look great for my house and which ones I should try to avoid. Dan also encouraged me to use some samples to see how they would look for my house. He went above and beyond when it came to explaining how I should go about with the paint selection. He also was very thorough with actually mixing the paints and making them the right colors. Worst store out there. Placed in order because it was available online an hour later they cancel my order when I tried to check the status. Instead of calling me and telling me they don't have it they cancelled it, wasted 2 hours of my time and then forced me to wait 3-5 days for a refund on top of that asking me if I want to drive to another store and pay out of pocket again. You need qualified people working for your establishment. Clearly there is a lack of reason, quality, customer service, common sense at this establishment. I would have called the customer and let them know not just cancel their order. I would have created an up sale or find a similar product instead of wasting valuable time. read more

Today 8/24/19 around 9:00pm I go into this Home Depot to put some Home Siding on hold for pick up. I go back to be sure it is the Siding I like. A male Rep with glasses asked me if I needed help. As we looked at the Siding I noticed the exact same item with a lower sticker price. Original was $17.82 for item# 0000-717-320 and I found another sticker for $16.81 for item# 0000-717-320. I asked the male what is the difference in the prices. He said it looks like the hiked the price up and forgot to remove this tag. I said you have to grant this price. He said tell them at the Cust Serv desk. Now I'm at Customer Service with a very unprofessional Rep. She would only tell me her name was "V". She's one who calls customer's Hun, Babe, Sweetie, and mess like that. So freaking annoying. Anyway, I showed her the difference and she told me to sign the key pad. I asked what am I signing. She started reading what I had already read then she pressed EXCEPT for me. The price was at the original price. I asked her how much did you charge for each. She played dumb and acted like she couldn't find the amount then she quoted the final price again. I told her, You charged me the original price. She called the young man who helped me and confronted him telling him I told him to tell me this and they don't grant mis-prices. I walked back to him and pulled the sticker off the railing where it was to take back to her since my photo wasn't good enough. She was now on the phone with a Manager named: Elvis. She kept saying yes and un hun and so on. Then she hung up with him. She said she can only sale it for the original price. I said if you didn't want to sell it for the $16 price it SHOULD NOT be visible to the public or consumers. I asked her to call that Manager down. From what I could hear, he was like What, WHY, and so on. She told him I wanted to discuss this further with him. He brought his half sleep looking self to the Desk. I explained to him again. He said well we have to sell it for the original. I told him he must grant this price, it should not be posted in sight of a customer if it is not the price. He refused and now I'm here and headed to FB and the BBB. He took the sticker. I advised him to hold on to it because he will be hearing from me again. I cancelled the over $200 transaction until further notice. If I can find my long sought out product elsewhere, I will do so. There is always an issue and nasty attitudes at this Home Depot. read more

Let me start by saying that if it were not for Toi or Ms. Anita an Dan in paint. I would not be shopping at Rialto home depot because their customer service is impecable. I went to home depot on 6/20/24 to shop for LVP flooring and installation. I went to the flooring department and didn't see anyone there. I saw a home depot merchandiser and asked could she call someone to flooring in which she did. I waited for quite sometime at flooring meanwhile while seeing other employees in the nearby departments with no acknowledgment or anything. I decided to call the 855 632-7873 for installation purposes. While having the representative on the phone she explained that the cost would be $35. I went to customer service in which, Toi helped me by calling back to the nearby department to ask if they could help. Reluctantly, I went back and the young lady ( red/burgundy hair) helped me with no problem. I explained that I had purchased flooring and installation before in my home exactly 12 years prior and the installation was excellent and still my floor looks great! I asked if they could penny out the measurement cost and she said she was not sure but would ask the Supervisor of the department, April. She asked me to have a seat and she would return. Well, here comes April who clearly had an agenda from the gate. Surely she was advised of my request. I explained that I had the flooring that I wanted picked out and actually knew the measurments of my install. I asked if the measurment cost could be pennied out. She replied " it could go to the purchase or installation." I again asked and informed her that I understand the process however, it has been done many times in the past and not just for me. I asked could she get the manager so that he or she would be in a position to entertain my request as they would have more say. She stated " I am the supervisor". This conversation or lack of cleary help me to understand the following of your Supervisor April: 1. She feels that status is of importance 2. because of her status she feels that the manager and her are equal 3. doesn't understand that as a customer I pay her wages. 4. I have spent entirely TOO much money at Rialto home depot to be treated as such. 5. April needs to understand that the presence of an individual doesn't notate the purchase power of the customer. On to the very understanding that I had prior to wanting give my business to the Rialto store which is closer to my home, I opted to help April understand her position and status that she eloquently, feels to project that she has the final say. Now I have a measurement for my home, next week, pennied out and for sake of I will be purchasing from the other home depot. Once again no thanks to Rialto home depot. Supervisors working in the customer service industry such as home depot need to understand that the sell is what keeps the doors open and the check delivered to staff regularly. I am super customer service and when I see it, I will call it out. If you don't like the job move on to something that will make you want to do your best. Don't worry because this is not the first time at this home depot however, to have to go to another city to obtain the service I should have received in my city speaks VOLUMES. read more

Just checking on some ideas, my husband & I came here to look at the layouts, materials used & what kind of financing they had. 1. Financing for us was instant approval with 1.5% apr !!! & plenty a $$ to have wiggle room for all the upgrades 2. On-site home designer to help plan and set up all your appts for home inspection and measurements needed to draw up the plans. 3. Great choices for appliances and recommendations on sale dates for purchasing. 4. Warranty is key and they have a great one. (Even a replacement cabinet bc it was chipped in shipment) 5. Materials use on the cabinets are up to you but if you are going to invest - Don't take any short cuts or go cheap. 6. On line notifications for shipments of cabinets and appliance was convenient 7. We purchased our flooring here also bc the product was durable & hold up to kitchen mishaps. (1 yr later & it looks great) If I could advise anyone reading and wanting to remodel (big project) - I would say - do your homework, ask questions, & see what is available before making your final choice. If I could give NEGATIVE Stars, I would!!! Home Depot Employees Don't Understand Their Own Store Policies. Purchased a MAYTAG Washing Machine, which they delivered & installed. For whatever reason the machine wouldn't complete a cycle. It would fill up, switch to wash & stop without rinsing or spinning. I contacted the store immediately (withing an hour of installation) about the issue. Josie said the item could be Returned & Refunded in store, if I could get it back to the their location (Receipt States Large Items Must Be Returned Within 48 Hours) She supposedly spoke with a manager who confirmed this policy. Obviously disconnecting & transporting a washing machine is No Easy Task. However we got it done the next morning only to be told it can't be returned in store. This Place is Ridiculous... I am a borderline homeless veteran of the United States Navy I have had a rough year where I was robbed of my catalytic converter on my Tacoma 2 times last year WHILE I WAS AT WORK and got fired when I asked to help my insurance deductible. I started my own handyman business because I refuse to work for any companies anymore. Anyway. I am broke as a joke now (no money in the bank) I came in today to make a purchase for a project. To get paid again. I had enough to cover to purchase before tax. I asked the young lady helping at self check out to help me (bcs my phone is disconnected and WIFI ONLY) To please verify my veterans discount (which takes off the tax) and she refused because she said it had to be verified electronically. I politely asked to speak to a manager, IT TOOK OVER 30 mins for a manger to show up to the self checkout!!! (I put them on a timer) which she also responded that she could not help me verify my veterans discount with my California ID. She proceeded to embarrass me and make me swipe my debit card, which has no funds in it as I mentioned to her numerous times. All this could've been fixed if she would've just verified my state ID (with veterans stamp on it) and not embarrass me by making me swipe my debit card with no funds in it. I had to explain to her that not all veterans are well off and can stay connected to the internet all day and I haven't been able to log onto their website and verify myself smh, this country is discriminatory against VETERANS like the rest of the state and federal government.
