Normally I wouldn't really be compelled to write a review of a home improvement store, since it's typically just a matter of going in, grabbing what I need, and leaving with very little to no fanfare. The store has always been fine for that, just nothing worth writing home about. But after recently purchasing a refrigerator from this location in the midst of STILL dealing with the hellscape that is Sears Home Warranty for our gas range, I can't say enough good things about Home Depot's customer service. We ordered our new fridge three days ago, and it was a completely painless process. We were in and out with the delivery, installation and haul away of the old one set up within about ten minutes. The delivery showed up around 8:30 AM, well within the four hour window we were given. The new fridge was all set up and ready to go in a matter of minutes, and the delivery drivers couldn't have been friendlier or more professional. We will definitely be buying all our appliances here in the future! read more

This is my go-to home improvement store, Lowe's is closer to my house but I take the extra time to go to Home Depot. They generally always have what I need and I've never had a bad experience with any of the employees. Yes, it can take a while to find someone that's not busy to help sometimes but being understaffed will cause that and I know it's not their fault. read more

We paid partial cash and debit card for our purchase of 3,300. We had to return part of our order and they refused to credit us either cash or debit card because they're saying it was a special order when it was not. If we had a truck to take our order home we could have. There was plenty in stock. However because we had it delivered they chose to take it from the warehouse and call it special order so now we have to wait at least 21 days for a check. Could be longer they said. Special order- I guess the new norm is to sell open/damaged box goods and think it is acceptable. I ordered 8 boxes of flooring 5 boxes were damaged. They will replace it, however flooring installer is scheduled. If the time table wasn't so tight I would have bought something else somewhere else. I get to sift through the packages and find all the damaged ones... meanwhile I will have to pay contractor for second visit. The order process is below expectations. Expected delivery dates got pushed out. Store couldn't "see" order and couldn't give us an update. Home Depot did not handle this special order very well. The company that they use, Raymer's Express, based out of Mass is utterly useless. Recently went into Hope Depot with my sister who has been renovating her house. She is always at this store picking up things for the next project. 1000s of dollars have been spent here. I only say this because we will no longer be shopping here. Upon checkout, the churlish employees demonstrated the worst, chauvinistic service I have ever been given. They stated that next time, my sister's husband should accompany us-- and that women will buy anything if they are told it is needed. Home Depot, it is 2015. How dare you let people represent your company and brand that treat women and regard women in such a manner. Women comprise a significant percentage of the do-it-yourselfers and from a purely economic standpoint, hold the majority of households' purchasing power. The service is absolutely degrading and offensive. We will not be back. And I suggest Home Depot take an effort to eradicate the backward mindset of your employees. read more

Avoid this Home Dumpo like the plague. Employees are either miserable or they blatantly avoid helping you. Of the 4 Home Depot stores within 45 min of me, this is by far the worst of them. The store is dark, dirty, and just a complete mess. The day I went there, I was looking for an item that the store listed as having 30 in-stock. When I got there, they had ZERO. It took me nearly 30 minutes just to find an employee to tell me this. Then, on the way out I passed several bags of busted open cement all over the floor, a display of mouse traps that had been pushed sideways and left sprawled out across an entire aisle, and an open bag of garbage sitting on the floor in front the exit. The parking lot wasn't bad, and is the only thing I would give this single star to. Good job cart boy! read more

If I could give negative stars, I would. Purchased a brand new Samsung dishwasher (over $500 installed). As a single person, it took me a while to fill it enough in order to actually run it (1 week) 1st time I ran it, the soap dispenser didn't open, there was at least an inch or two of water in the bottom, and dishes were still wet. On top of that, the dishwasher made a humming sound and was vibrating for 24 hrs and I couldn't turn it off. I called home depot and they told me that it was not their problem, that it was a manufacturer issue and told me to call samsung. I told them that I had only run it one time, but that didn't seem to matter. Called Samsung and got a ticket # for repair/replacement, which they cancelled (twice) after they tried to call me (I couldn't answer as I was working) and didn't leave any messages. Called home depot again, told them I have been getting the runaround for n10 days and that this is not acceptable. Spoke with 2 different managers who said they would handle it. Have not heard back. That was yesterday. Now it's after closing. We'll see how they handle this tomorrow when I call or maybe show up at the store. I have spent lots of $$ at this store and I do NOT intend on spending anymore. I highly recommend not purchasing any appliances or major purchases from this store. I'm a Veteran and I've had problems with the Rochester NH Store #3489 in that depending on who cashes me out, some will take my NH Drivers License with my Veterans stamp for a 10% discount and some will not. I haven't had any trouble whatsoever with the other stores. I will never shop there again as Lowe's took my License with no problem at all and will be my new supplier from now on. read more

I would give 0 stars if I could. We purchased a Samsung stove and Samsung Family Hub refrigerator from this location. Home Depot uses a third party company named "Raymers" to deliver appliances. Attempted delivery twice for the fridge (stove delivered successfully on first attempt). The first time the workers couldn't get the fridge over my three steps and said "we'll come back another day". The second attempt at delivery they damaged my porch AND refrigerator and asked if I still want the fridge.... Seriously? The third time they successfully delivered the fridge. We've been "waiting" three months for a reimbursement check to fix our porch that clearly we are never getting. We've contacted Home Depot countless times and they state they've done their part. Raymers hasn't contacted us back and we can't get in touch with the person we need to for our claim. Over $4,500 in appliances and the experience we've had with Home Depot is absolutely horrendous. read more
