Jamie, the service manager at the Rockland Home Depot, went out of his way to help me get my refrigerator. It's an off-brand so corporate policy is to deliver only to porch or driveway. When Jamie learned of my dismay, he dispatched two workers to leave the store and carry my new refrigerator into my basement. His compassionate and generous response has made me a lifelong fan. Spent $4000 at Home Depot and I had two items that I got there were $17 that were not on the receipt and I could not find the receipt and they would not give me a store credit. They are tight miserly and I'm done with Home Depot. I'm going to Lowe's. read more

It's hit or miss on service here. I like Home Depot, but this one kind of irks me. More times then not I choose to spend my money elsewhere. Updated. 5/27/2018 Has gotten completely better. On 10/30/18 at 7:15 am, I went into the Home Depot in Rockland to buy a washer and dryer set before going into work. I was told that no one comes into appliances until 8am. My rebuttal was " So, no one is able to sell my any appliances until after 8am?" They called a csm down from the front end, and she was extremely less then enthused about helping me and didn't seem to want to take the time to check availability of certain appliances. So, I informed her that she just lost a $1200.00 sale. She honestly didn't seem to care- she shrugged her shoulders and walked off!!! On 11/5/18 I walked into Home Depot again in hopes of purchasing a washer and dryer. I was sold a washer and dryer set. Of course I was unable to buy off the showroom floor. And after all that renovation in the appliance department, there still wasn't anything in stock I could buy. I had to wait for one of the two delivery companies to call me with a delivery time. On 11/9/18, I get a call from the delivery company that they will be there between 1130 and 330- a 4 hour block of time. Some people have jobs. It is like dealing with the cable company. On 11/12/18 they delivered my washer and dryer. The delivery people weren't all that bright. All I wanted them to do was take them out of the boxes and put on the dryer cord. And had to give them these instructions 6 times in a 15 minute block of time. I didn't realize that they had dented my new dryer and broke one of the prongs on the dryer that the cord attaches to. My husband could have been electrocuted. He called the manager at the Rockland Home Depot that evening. He assured my husband that he would take care of this and have a new dryer delivered hopefully by the end of the week (by 11/16/18). NEVER HAPPENED! I spent $1269.10 in that store and can't use the dryer! I have spoken to Home Depot- they said it is up to the delivery company on when I get my new one. I have spoken to Samsung (brand of washer and dryer I bought) and they said the same- up to the delivery company on when I get the new dryer. So, I have had to wait 2 1/2 weeks for my new dryer- which is supposed to be delivered on 11/28. Time unknown because they don't schedule delivery times until the day before the delivery. So NO ONE has been willing to provide any decent acceptable level of customer service. Meanwhile I am making payments on a $600.00 dryer that I CAN'T USE! So, all in all I have had the WORST appliance buying experience of my life at Rockland Home Depot. And since I haven't been helped in any way- just been thrown a lot of manager fluff b.s.- I will not be a return customer. I have since filed a complaint with the district manager for Home Depot in Rockland- we will see if she does anything. read more

While some of the employees are excellent (if you can find one), I am amazed at their decision to not stock black mulch. Only brown and red are available at their Rockland store. Despite my requests, they insist on NOT stocking the black mulch. read more

Has most of what I need when the times call for it. Can't be upset with a company's management deciding to contract with certain businesses as it takes away from those on the lower ladder working the floor. Staff have always been positive and very helpful and full of knowledge. Store is clean and hours are convenient. Will shop here again. read more

1st of all, never ever ever, and I mean never, use a contractor associated with a big Box store. I have had problems with both lowes and home depot contractors. The reason they're associated with the big Box stores is no one else wants them. The stores themselves are perfectly fine, we love The Home Depot kid build sessions every month. read more

We paid many thousands of dollars to replace every window our 1860 house. We have had nothing but trouble. Water leaking and rotting under badly caulked and installed window sills. Several windows have broken seals in the glass so when the temperatures fall there is moisture in between the two panes. I complained. They say it's normal!!!! We will never buy a single thing from Home Depot ever again. read more

I will not be shopping at Home Depot for any of my floor needs nor will I refer them to anyone. They contract with American Flooring South Inc. which is a company that is so unreliable with their customer service. Their poor service reflects on Home Depot who have or should have a sense of responsiblity to their customers to refer them to competent and reliable contractors. One head ache after another with canceled appointments again and again and again. Months before repairs are made. read more
