The photos are from the person at JW Floors AFTER they had "fixed" the mistakes.
Austin W.

If I could rate them zero stars, I would. Long story short: JW Floors in Santa Rosa was subcontracted by The Home Depot in Rohnert Park to install all of my flooring--laminate and tile. JW then subcontracted the job out to others who were completely unqualified for the work. It took MONTHS for the floors to be finished, and even when they were "done," I had to spend more time and money hiring someone else to fix their mistakes, because I didn't trust JW to touch anything else in my new home. They eventually had to come back for heavy-duty repairs because of major errors during the install. As a result, I ended up with damaged walls and floors--the very things I had just paid for. I see zero value in The Home Depot, JW Floors, or any of their contractors. The Home Depot was also a nightmare throughout the process, which has guaranteed I'll never give them my business again. The photos attached are from JW Floors AFTER they had "fixed" the mistakes. I didn't want them doing any painting or spackling because I had no faith in their ability and didn't want more damage. These photos show the quality of work they consider acceptable. When I asked the person sent to "help" the sub-subcontractors if he was proud of the final result, he actually said yes. If this is what they consider prideful work, they need to reassess. My advice: hire local. Find someone you can actually talk to and reach when there's a problem. This entire experience showed me how little anyone involved cared. They didn't even bother pretending to care. Terrible. 0/5.

The Home Depot big print giveth to Veterans. The Home Depot small print taketh from Veterans.
American L.

The big print giveth. The small print taketh. I went into Home Depot. I got the item I wanted. I presented my Veterans id for the Veterans Discount as I have for years. I was denied my Veterans Discount. The dénouement is that when The Home Depot boasts it's here to help, they mean help themselves NOT Veterans and GIs. The Home Depot now REFUSES to accept Veterans and GIs ids at the stores for Veterans and GIs to receive a discount. It does NOT give Veterans and GIs a Veterans or Military Discount unless they previously downloaded an app to a smart phone AND use that app at the store on a smart phone the Veterans and GI own. https://themilitarywallet.com/home-depot-military-discount/#:~:text=You'll%20need%20a%20Home,Home%20Depot%20account%20is%20required What about Veterans and GIs who don't have a smart phone?! The Home Depot DOESN'T care about Veterans and GIs who don't have a smart phone. Veterans like me. What about Veterans and GIs who can't afford a smart phone?! The Home Depot DOESN'T care about Veterans and GIs who can't afford a smart phone. Veterans like me. What about elderly Veterans who don't know how to use apps?! The Home Depot DOESN'T care about elderly Veterans who don't know how to use apps. Veterans like me. What about disabled Veterans who can't use apps?! The Home Depot DOESN'T care about disabled Veterans who can't use apps. Veterans like me. Furthermore, according to insensitive, selfish, and obsessed with money Home Depot's website, the store's year-round Military and Veteran discount is capped at $400 per year and there are many exclusions to the discount. Why is The Home Depot behaving in such an insensitive manner? There is so much owed by so many to so few. With Freedom comes Responsibility. A publicly disclosed daily Military and Veterans Discount is a token thank you for what is owed to Veterans and GIs. A Veteran Discount and Military Discount provides resource to ensure Veterans (rare 7% of the population) and GIs (rare one-half of one percent of the population) opportunity to participate in American Dream Veterans and GIs' sacrifices have made possible for 100% of the population. Today is Veterans Day. The observance of Veterans Day on November 11 not only preserves the historical significance of the date, it also focuses attention on the important purpose of Veterans Day. The purpose of Veterans Day is to honor and show appreciation and gratitude and pay tribute to America's Veterans, which includes GIs, for their patriotism, love of country, and willingness to Serve and sacrifice for the common good. Happy Veterans Day, my fellow Veterans. May all our storms be weathered, and all that's good get better. And, always remember, the strength of the Pack is the Wolf, and the strength of the Wolf is the Pack. I say to Home Depot, who managed here to snatch defeat out of the jaws of victory, remember Proverbs 3:27, "Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to act," because Hell has a special place reserved in it for those who don't honor, show appreciation and gratitude and pay tribute to and help Veterans and GIs. With all business, it's the first impression that counts the most. Here with The Home Depot, it is the last impression--the way they have deliberately and cruelly set up several barriers to what Veterans and GIs have clearly earned--that endures as it contributes to why Veterans succumb to suicide at a rate twice that of non-Veterans. Shame on The Home Depot. My experience with this business brought to mind: Handle every situation like a dog. If you can't eat it or play with it, just pee on it (here with a review) and walk away.

Gildden Featherstone grey.

This is my go to Home Depot as I love the huge parking lot and the layout of the store. I think in general, the staff here has been helpful whether I'm making a return, asking for a stock check, need garden help, flooring help, etc. Sometimes, you can be wandering around looking for a staff member or they're tied up with another guest. Typical retail. However, this review is for the Paint Station. I asked for Featherstone gray in Semi-Gloss and the Clerk who assisted me got the mixture all wrong. Turned out to be more yellow and when it dried on my wall, it was in yellow splotches. Went to Kelly Moore Paint today and they told me that the mixture is incorrect and that it should have more of a red tone to it. Beware- I would go to an actual paint store if you are looking for paint or just touch up paint. Terrible.

Curbside pickup

This review is for the Home Depot in Rohnert Park. I normally go to the one in Santa Rosa but they were out of stock for the Ryobi lamp so I ordered online to pick up at the Rohnert Park store. I receive an email about 30 minutes later that my order was ready for pick up. I found out I have to have the Home Depot app on my smartphone so I spent a few minutes downloading it and then logging in. I checked in that I was here at curbside pick up spot #1. 10 minutes later, a young lady brought out my order. With the Covid thing going on, I think curbside pick up is the way to go if you know what you want.

Online receipt full of crap I or my customer doesn't need to see, full of advertising for more products I didn't buy.

I was fortunate enough to meet Richard Landen while I was there. Richard was very knowledgeable, courteous, and helpful. I told Richard I needed to discuss a few of the model options with my wife, and I'd call him with a decision within a week. I phoned Richard a few days later, and told him which model Subzero we wanted to order. He couldn't have made the whole purchase any easier. Richard emailed me the receipt, and told me the new Subzero would be available for pickup in a few days. Richard was kind enough to inform me that if I selected a certified installer Subzero adds an extra year to the warranty! So I figured I had better do just that, and I went with Top Tier Appliance Installations which is owned by John Yeager. If there was ever an appropriately named business, it's John's business! John and his crew really were top tier! From keeping me apprised of their arrival time to protecting my floors removing the old SubZero, to being diligent as they carefully lugged these 800 pound machines (both the old Subzero and the new Subzero) up and down my stairs without damaging my home! The installation job they did on my new Subzero was spectacular! I would highly recommend John and his team without reservation! I'm a very particular guy, and John and his team are definitely welcome back in my home anytime. Going forward, anytime I need new appliances, I will be calling Richard at Tee Vax to buy them, and John at Top Tier Appliance Installations to install them!
