A few times the match was not perfect (Small amount of paint purchased), and they decided to match a new batch at no cost. Fast forward now to 2025 where I purchased a few gallons for painting inside and out. I brought samples and they looked to be okay in the lighted area, but I never know until I paint a wall and it completely dries to be honest. This time the match was quite off to the point where I'd either have to paint the entire house or quite simply just get a re match to something that's closer. I had used maybe an eighth of the gallon purchased for the first room, so not much waste at all. When I brought it back with photos showing how off it was, I was greeted with a wonderful individual who basically smirked and said "That's a bummer". A bummer indeed, but one would think they would do something at that point. Nope, he merely turned his back to me to work on a new batch of paint for another customer. I asked if he could replace the match that clearly did not work, he told me "Company rules dictate we don't take paint back". He proceeded to tell me that other customers were waiting and needed his attention and that I'll have to paint my entire house as he couldn't get close to the match. So spend hundreds of dollars to fix a terrible match in hopes they get it right this time...I just took my business elsewhere and will never recommend Friedman's again to anyone for paint purposes, just truly sad customer service and willing to stand by a product. Ended up going to another paint store (Larger chain paint store) that matched it much closer to the original and stated they will re match for free if there are any issues. Lesson learned.

I have been replacing my All Clad non…read morestick with Hestan titanium which Science says is the best nonstick pan that isn't bad for your health or require the seasoning and heft of cast iron. I went in to ask how to use my new pan because it was sticking a bit. Of course they knew exactly how to solve my problem. I needed to learn how to use my new pan. You have to heat the pan (dry) first, before you add your fat, then add your food (eggs for me). It worked perfectly. The pans have worked every time since. It's always a new learning experience with new technology. Classic nonstick pans taught us never to heat an empty pan. Now it's the reverse. ILeoni has the most knowledgeable staff around. We all know too well how rare good customer service is today. I shop there as often as possible. I want a family owned small business to be able to thrive and be here for decades to come. The appointment was at 1:30 and I finally called him at 2:20 as he didn't show up or call! He had some lame excuse for not receiving the alert he made on his phone. He asked if he could come right over and we figured we would give him a chance. He is very talkative, mostly telling us what he wanted to do instead of listening to what we wanted. He was adamant about refacing our cabinets even after we clearly said we did NOT want that option. He claims to be a cabinet maker so he finally took the measurements and discussed some basic details. As he was leaving he apologized again for being late and even stated he would "make up for it with his quote"...that was on 3/13 and we have never heard from him. We are grateful we found out his work ethic before we hired him, and thankfully have hired another company that has been an absolute pleasure to work with. Do your homework and save yourself the trouble by just scrolling past his website- there are quality companies out there.

After years of…read moreprocrastination, we were awed by two kitchen remodels Andrew completed with high personal recommendations, we knew we found the right guy. My husband and I are very particular and detail oriented and Andrew listened to our wants and offered ideas resulting in a kitchen that surpassed our expectations. His wood working skills are spectacular. We opted not to change the footprint of our kitchen but removed a cooktop, double oven and built in desk, adding a range, built in microwave and additional cabinetry. The cabinet additions are a perfect, seamless blend. I love our doors and drawers, REAL WOOD not veneer! Andrew used samples of our existing flooring, new backsplash and countertop to formulate a stain and glazing that's just exquisite. The addition of the soft close and foot pedal for the trash is icing on the cake. To tie the kitchen and family room together, he also built a mantel and hearth surround for our fireplace with the same stain and details as our cabinetry... just exquisite! We (including our Great Pyrenees) loved having Andrew working in our home. He's honest, knowledgeable, has a great sense of humor and took the stress out of our remodel. I am a certified Project Manager and licensed Mechanical Engineer, so I know what good project execution looks like. MKC is the best residential contractor I have worked with in my 30 years of home ownership. MKC employs a process with heavy emphasis on planning the work up front followed by quality execution by the craftsmen. Scott (owner of MKC) honestly strives to land each project with the highest quality work done at a reasonable price. My project was mainly to remodel a kitchen and master bathroom. Additionally, we removed two walls (one load bearing), replaced 1/2 the house windows, addressed two different legacy structural issues, replaced fireplace, all interior doors, all baseboard and trim, all flooring and about a dozen other upgrades (add ceiling fans, add additional door, replace garage door header, toilet in 2nd bath, etc.). Basically, I received a new house. The work was completed in a little over 4 months as planned adding time for the new scope and structural issues. The cost was as expected. MKC costs were nearly exact to expected. Material costs were higher than planned due to our selection of materials vs assumed. The quality of the work was outstanding whether it was by MKC employees or subcontractors. I highly recommend the MKC team for a kitchen or major home remodel.

On the day of installation, the 2 guys that were to install the tile arrived (on time), and Jose showed up with them. I really appreciated the personal touch and time he took with the guys to go over the details of the project. The installers were very polite and very competent at what they do. I know that some people might say "It's just subway", but with the dark grout, there's really no room for error - any offset tile will catch your eye right away.
