I called for a repair of the igniters on two of the burners of my 31-year-old cooktop. They send a serviceman named Philip who was quite personable, polite and competent. Of course, the problem required more work and parts than the original estimate. He had to come out three different times after ordering parts, in order to solve the problem. He replaced three of Venturi and two of the igniters. He cleaned all of the burners, leaving the cooktop looking and operating like new. Even though he did have to come back a couple of times he still came in under the estimate. I will call them back again for my next electrical problem. read more

Two months ago would have rated a 5. Used several times with great satisfaction. Most recently though big disappointment. New Bosch dryer reinstalled incorrectly although not known at time. (Ventless heat pump dryer) problems with water leaking. Kelly's came back again and couldn't find anything wrong. I paid for both service calls. Ultimately Bosch came out; discovered hoses were installed incorrectly; they corrected. I spoke to Kelly technician and requested they reimburse me for 1 of the service calls. No response. Too bad I thought they were great. Time to move on. read more

I worked with James in Novato. Highly recommend. He explained he'd first the mother board for issues and it passed. He gave me options for my request to replace the gasket as there was "black" coloring on it, but not mold as there was no odor. He said I could purchase a $19, product and use it to clean the gasket in lieu of replacement. I chose replacement . I appreciated the offer, his honesty, his willingness to forego my service call. Kudos to Kelly's Appliance Center customer service folks and their repair person Sean! On a scale of 1 to 10, the experience was an 11. My 15 year old Samsung refrigerator had stopped delivering ice cubes. I looked to Yelp, found a company that said they serviced people on Petaluma, and when I called they said "we don't do Petaluma." My next stop was to Kelly's appliance center and the gal that answered my phone call set me up with an appointment a couple of days hence to diagnose the ice cube delivery problem. As an afterthought, I asked that the person diagnose some problems with the stovetop on my 25 year old Wolf Gourmet range. Sean showed up, diagnosed the problem with the Samsung, called for the part which was backordered. He also answered my questions about what refrigerators are low service, and which seller was dependable, especially AFTER the purchase. Then Sean looked at the Wolf stovetop and told me what was causing my "uneven flame" problem, I said let's fix the front 3 that I use all the time. And he found out that the parts were in stock, and I pulled the trigger on that one. Today Sean came with two things: one, the parts that I ordered and two, a value of "do the job right." Some people would have put in the parts and left in 15 minutes. Sean, on the other hand, made sure that the front three all worked right, no small task. Then he cleaned up the back three. The net result was turning my Wolf from clicking and clacking and uneven flame into a "like-new" stovetop in the high use three, and "spiffed up" the back three to be very happy. Sean has what I value most highly - a person with a high "do it right" value matched with mad skills. The icing on the cake was great people (and puppy) skills. My wife, my 185 lb bullmastiff and I are doing "the happy dance" and can't wait for the next visit for the Samsung ice delivery problem to be fixed! And I got high value at a reasonable price. Communication was poor among their staff. Technician was clueless, ordered and replaced the ice maker on a yr old fridge (which honestly was not needed) and office confirmed all under warranty. Fast forward after 24...48 + hrs with no ice working and a bill for payment for service not rendered and then informing "it's not under warranty". I had clearly emailed and texted the directions to 2 people in their office. I got text confirmation that I am covered and office confirmed they have gotten my email and we are good. Ice maker didn't even needed replacement and it's not even working still. When something is under warranty you get the part for free from the manufacture they got it from somewhere else instead ‍‍ Obviously warranty got denied. Called another repair technician who came looked at it and said the water filter or fill tube was clogged.....that is it. Not really Diamond Certified BUT I call them Un Certified. read more

My 10 year old refrigerator, with icemaker in the door, suddenly stopped making ice. My extended warranty was still good, so I called the warranty number and they scheduled me for diagnosis/service by Kelly's Appliance Center. An appointment was made (Kelly's office staff very friendly) and a few days later, Ishmael, one of Kelly's technicians, came out. He diagnosed the problem and determined that a part would need to be ordered. A few days later, Kelly's called to let me know that the part was in and Ishmael would be out to install it. Ultimately, Ishmael came out three times because after installation, a "computer glitch" required essentially "rebooting" the system. And now I have ice again. During all three visits, Ishmael was friendly, skilled and knowledgeable...He explained what the problem was, why it might happen and how he was taking care of it. My (adult) son and I were impressed with Ishmael's professionalism and congeniality. I would definitely recommend Kelly's Appliance Center after this experience. . read more

Although I sadly learned that because of a commonly severed wire, electronic connection... due to a common Whirlpool manufacturing defect... the 3 year old icemaker is now permanently disabled without a very costly door replacement.
