    Group of "managers" doing trainings while I'm still waiting.

    We'll now it's been 45 minutes and counting. I stoped by the store yesterday to pick up supplies for a job we have coming up and the Hynes Convention Center. We are a pretty larger contractor out of Shrewsbury, MA and we came to get 48 sheets of plywood. We went to the Pro Desk to purchase the small stuff and they plywood. It took us 30 minutes to check out. The guy Alex who was checking us out was more concerned about his hair than getting us out of there. We spent a little over $2,200.00 which I would consider to be a pretty good size order. We scheduled the pick up for 12:00 pm the next day. I arrived on-time for the pick up. I was checked in the guy told me that someone would be over to get the plywood off the rack and load it on to my truck. About 20 minutes went by and no one had come over. Finally someone came over to me and asked if I was being helped I explained to them the story and they said someone would be over it has now been 45 minutes and no sign of a fork lift and no sign that anyone will be helping me. A total of 9 people have come up to me and asked if I was being helped I replied and said yes I am waiting for them to get the plywood off of the rack. So who actually knows when I will be getting out of here! Hopefully someone from Home Depot reads this. This is the last time I will be using this store.

    A word to the wise- even if you check with Home Depot 3 times that your flooring order will fit in your car... don't believe them. You also will not receive assistance of any kind when you bring the situation to their attention. Good luck!!

    terrible customer service,I waited for about 30 minutes for someone to help me and after all that, they didn't help me with what I wanted.

My experience is that this company systematically engages in egregious business practices, including loss-leader switch-and-bait advertising; and holding onto your $ as long as possible even in the absence of a sale (i.e. no sale due to lack of inventory) Details: They SEEM to have lower prices than retail. Yet they consistently advertise lower priced models, but never seem to have them in stock. Twice (2 weeks apart) I went in to buy either of 2 items I had been tracking online for a couple days. Both times, the good deals I was looking for were unavailable. Their online inventory is out of sync with their actual physical inventory ...confirmed by customer service as an issue they are "working on ". They CLAIM to move product so fast that they have trouble keeping their online inventory up-to-date. Yet every time I visit (weekday, weekend, afteroon, evening) there is only 1 or 2 customers in the store (including me). They get 1 new truckload of stuff once or twice a week according to them. So why can't they update their online inventory to be accurate? (hint: they just dont want to) Tried to order stuff 3 ways: a) Live visit: I have been in a few times to buy something that was advertised as in stock. Both times it had arrived days before (I call to see if a new truck has arrived) and both times was "sold today". The other one (each time I wanted either of 2 that were online) was an "online inventory error". The inventory had been online for 5 days, and continued to be online as in-stock when I came by. b) Online order: when ordering, I get a call back that the item I ordered is not in inventory. They offered to cancel the order, I said yes please cancel. Then the cancel the order BUT DONT REFUND THE PAYMENT! I had to call customer service the next day to get a refund. (The email from AF says "Please contact [local branch tel#] to request a refund." though customer service rep said branch reps cannot cancel an order or initiate a refund. Seems like they are trying to mislead & make refunds harder.) The sales rep recommended that I call to make sure they have whatever the website says they have. c) Telephone: Tried calling to see if online items were available, was told yes but this is just a different one with a different price. (Presumably because it is like new condition?) They cannot take an order over the phone, but I can order online and they will replace the machine (and price) with what they actuallly have in stock. (What?!?) I had to wrestle the product number out of the sales rep (after being put on hold 3 times and hung up on once). Turned out he was trying to sell me a front-load washer when I had ordered a top loader! Oh ya, their "ALL SALES FINAL" return policy says their machines are " not eligible for return, refund, or exchange ... exceot that items that are damaged or non-functional when delivered are eligible for REPAIR OR EXCHANGE when reported to the store AT THE TIME OF DELIVERY OR PICKIUP." So you better be prepared to run your washer before the delivery guys leave. This means in order to get an exchange for damaged goods, you have to pay for delivery and hookup even if you dont need it. -- and I bet that "exchange" is usually a step-up in price too. CONCLUSION: My opinion is this company engages in egregious business practices, including purposely inaccurate advertising and holding onto your $ as long as possible, even in the absence of a sale. Finally, based on all of above: not sure I even believe the "never-used factory blemishes" are necessarily accurate, or that warrantees won't have an issue. WHAT A WASTE OF TIME!

    In November my son and I went to Lowe's in Worcester and ordered a new stove and dishwasher. My son…read moreopened a Lowe's account that day. The stove was delivered on time and we were told the dishwasher would be delivered at a later date, dependent upon when a plumber would be able to install it. The plumber informed my son on the date of expected delivery that he would NOT be able to deliver and install it because another part was required due to the age of our home. Another time the plumber allegedly went to pick up the dishwasher and it could not be located. Every issue required a visit to the store because nothing could be corrected by phone. After several attempts for delivery were postponed by Lowe's and/or the plumber, the dishwasher was finally installed (but not before we threatened to cancel the sale.) My son was told we would be given a $200 credit due to the months long inconvenience. As of today (March 18, five months later) the $200 STILL was not credited. My son was told tonight because we had already paid a large amount (approximately $900) we would only be credited $47. That logic baffles me and anyone with any common sense. I just waited almost 45 minutes on hold to speak with Richmond, the manager who told my son there is no way he can give us back any more than $47. I asked for his manager's name and was told Bob. Just Bob who won't be in the store until next week. I beg anyone who reads this to please go somewhere else. Gave it 1 star only because it wouldn't post with no stars or negative stars
