Absolutely terrible customer service. I came in to buy 10 fencing panels (8 ft each) and asked the employee in the building supply department for help loading them. His response? "No, you'll have to get a cart and load them yourself." I asked him again just to be sure I heard correctly, that I was expected to wrestle these massive panels onto a cart that can't even hold 10 at once, drag them out to my trailer, then come back in and do it all over again. His answer was still yes. This wasn't just unhelpful, it was downright lazy and disrespectful. The cashier was visibly shocked when I told her what happened, which tells you how outrageous this behavior was. Instead of a simple act of assistance, I was left struggling to push out two panels at a time because the employees are lazy and hide instead of being helpful. They deserve ZERO stars, take your business elsewhere where they have customer service. read more

Phone sale people were unhelpful. A service that is normally taken care of no problem was made a headache when I was skipped in line and told I needed to load the whole pallet of water on my own and wouldn't get any assistance from staff when asked. When confronted the lady working at the desk rudely shrugged me off. Normally it's a pleasant experience here but the disrespect was uncalled for. read more

I've had to buy supplies several times at this Home Depot. The staff was helpful and the store was clean.

Sometimes I run into an associate that knows more than me in fact they are confident enough to become POTUS just as long as they can read a computer screen and not check facts. I waste a lot of time at home dept arguing what's actually in stock and associates insistence to believe everything they read off a computer terminal. Thankfully prices are usually accurate as per internet and products are sometimes lost because of inventory placement. Sometimes new associates just give you the wrong info just to get rid of you. read more

Don in the lumber section was so helpful! He helped me get a good deal on some wooden dowels and he even helped me lift some heavy items before he had to go on his break. Such a nice guy! And the cashiers were so friendly too, I wish I had got their name. In the parking lot, Angel helped me load the items into my car. The lack of customer service was horrible!!!! We scanned the code and after 45 minutes of waiting to get a locked tool, I had to grab a cashier and asked her if I needed to make an appointment to get assistance. After the announcement was made on the intercom, I still waited an additional 30 minutes. I went on another side of the store and needed assistance in flooring, I did not get my questions answered and the worker there was yelling from the paint counter incorrect answers. After going through the same cycle before to get a battery for my tool, it took as long and the same worker came to assist me(totally different area). Other than that, the other customer service people were pretty friendly exept one who was cursing randomly. read more

First time at Home Depot, and I was weary of coming here. I have heard the stories or rumors about lack of customer service or help. Store had a we're hiring sign on the entrance door. Hmm maybe a good sign, or is it a bad sign of high turnover. Anyway I hope corporate or management reads this. Please hire more staff, or employees that actually care instead of just going through the motions. I get it, pay is probably minimum wage, but at least try to give a damn. I have spent 10's of thousands of dollars with Home Depot over the years. I have remodeled my kitchen, bathroom, yard, security system, sliding door and many, many other projects at your store. With those projects, I had some ups and downs, but for the most part, Home Depot has delivered. I had a particular incident at your store recently where I was purchasing numerous items, however one of the plants I was purchasing did not have a bar code on it to scan. The associate "Asia" told me that I can go get another one, but I had already waited in a long line, and I did not want to go back in the store and shop around, so she asked me how much it was. I told her, and her response was "I can't sell you this" She then proceeded to take the plant and put it behind her. After the back and forth, and after waiting in line so long, I decided to not purchase anything and walked out of the store. I was very disappointed and confused with the attitude and lack of problem solving by your associate. Basically, my money was not accepted for items advertised for sale on your shelf. I don't usually fill these things out and certainly understand the challenges of working in retail with unruly customers, however this incident left a bad impression with me, and I did not feel as if my business was valued. I went to Lowe's right after, was greeted at the door, and found my plant. I was in and out in 5 minutes feeling that I was treated well as a customer, not a problem. Unfortunately, I will be traveling a bit further, but Lowe's and Ace Hardware will now be my go-to places for my projects. Apologies Home Depot, but I will be moving on. I had ordered a few items for pickup at this location. I usually shop at the March Lane location but because I had business nearby, I took a chance on this store. I walked in around 0930hrs on a Saturday, the store was not too busy and I went to stand in line for online orders pickup. There was one person ahead of me and there were 4 associates behind the counter. They never acknowledged me or greeted me. There was an elderly couple also waiting that was not greeted. All 4 associates went out of their way to not make eye contact with either myself or the elderly couple, it was a very awful vibe. I stood there a good ten minutes and walked away. Its not worth the rude treatment nor the awkwardness of standing there being ignored. They knew we were there and we knew that they knew, it was just about them not wanting to help customers. Me as a woman going into a store full of men and I know nothing about Drills and tools she came to me with open arms and educated me about the tools and also made me feel like my money was being spent on the right tools . I ordered a Whirlpool top freezer refrigerator at Home Depot in Stockton location on January 16/2023 . It took almost more than a month for the refrigerator to be delivered (February/20/2023 was when it came home). But after 5 days of use , the top freezer didn't work. The knob to set up the temperature for freeze was not well made, it was loose. All my meat and fish had to be thrown away. The bottom refrigerator was cold enough for all vegetables. I called and came back to Home Depot to return the fridge, so I can buy another refrigerator Whirlpool with different model (see that I still want to come back to business with Home Depot ), but they did not accept my return. Instead, they gave me the Whirlpool number and let me deal with them. I called around 3 days with many given phone numbers , and each phone call waiting time was 30, 40 minutes. I had very bad experience with Home Depot and Whirlpool customer services. I paid almost $700 for the worst refrigerator that only worked for 5 days . No return acceptance . I'm a very loyalty customer with both Home Depot and Whirlpool for more than 15 years; such a reward for me. Everyone please be aware with what happened with me. Please never buy major appliances at any Home Depot, especially any product from the Whirlpool company . Please, please. I will donate my refrigerator, and go buy another. Horrible experience! Asked an associate where an item was and she looked at me funny and kept walking past as if she were just a customer. Then .... Average of two stars for home depot? I have no problem getting help here. If I cannot find an employee in short order, I pull out my trusty cell phone and call the front desk and tell them I need help in 'aisle 17'(or whatever aisle I'm in). I get help quite quickly. The person answering the phone is confused at first. "You mean that you are in the store?" "Yes, I am in the store and need help in 'aisle 17'!" lol I purchased and installed my first led bulbs today! They had a display of 60 watt equivalent led bulbs, warm white, 2 pack for $5. Deal! These, unfortunately are non-dimmable but I don't need these to dim. It blows me away that I can leave these on for a year and it only costs me a $1 in electricity! I will slowly replace all of my bulbs with led's. I also bought three dimmable led bulbs for a ceiling fan. The advantage is that they will last longer than I do and I don't have to bring a ladder in the house to change bulbs again! Four stars from me today! read more

The previous review of Lowe's across the street brought to my mind, an incident I had at that store, but also the fact that this Home Depot is my store of last resort, when no one else has what I'm after, I usually find it here. I try to do business in my neighborhood first, supporting the mom and pop stores, but when that fails I wind up out here. My only knock on this store, is that it could use a little tidying up, a little dusty sometimes. Back to my beef with the Lowe's across the street, went there looking for an engineers (graduated in 10th's of a foot) pocket tape. The tool guy informed me that Lowe's was not a contractor's store, it was a Home improvement center. well like the previous gentleman, over to H D I went, found the tape for 12 bucks. so props to the Orange. read more

Im very happy on the service provided in this location. I called around looking for a specific shower drain and alot of the home depots around 30 miles are all out of stock and honestly they didnt seem to wanting to help me look.the website said they have them instock but they didnt bother look until i spoke with ANDY in plumbing from stockton home depot. He tripple check everywhere and actually found it on the third try. I told him what are situation was and that we are an hr away. So he made sure its the right part. Came here to buy a nail gun. Went to ask for help, and the lady said it wasn't her "department" so shes not going to help.... finally found the worker "Chris" on the nailgun isle, patiently waited for him to finish helping a customer, afterwards ask him for help, he said in a minute. Went to help another customer, and than just left. I waited for him for 20minutes, he came back and walked past me. I went up to ask for his name and left, definitely bad customer service!
