This review is for Rhonda in Kitchen Design. We had a Home Depot contractor at the house to measure for our countertops. He informed me that the order he was measuring for wouldn't work with our layout/sink height. He said he couldn't do his measurement until he knew what we were going to do. Since I had no idea, I called the kitchen design to get some direction and since Yvonne (who is WONDERFUL) wasn't in we spoke with Rhonda. She was rushed on the phone and when I asked questions about the difference between 2cm quartz and 3cm quartz she said she had to go and there was no one else in for me to talk to and then hung up on me. Apparently a lunch break is more important than keeping a contractor at our home longer and being rude to a customer. If you use Home Depot for your kitchen remodel DO NOT use Rhonda. read more

I really like this Home Depot and I go there more than 10 times a week and the reason I am going to give them a 5 star is, the last Saturday I was there and trying to order some outdoor cabinets for my backyard and Lisa at the customer service help me with everything especially to get everything at the best price comper to other stores. I guess anybody with a pulse can get a job at Home Depot. They don't require a pleasant attitude, manners or good customer service skills. Every time we have been there, the employees are the least helpful people. It's like nobody there cares if you make a purchase there or not. We have only encountered one helpful employee there, a young, Hispanic, tattooed gentleman who helped us when we were looking to purchase fencing for our dog. Most recently, I purchased a dryer...I could have gone elsewhere, but Home Depot had a special financing option that made it worth it. Well, the lady working in the appliance department, an older woman with short, curly, reddish hair has no business working with customers. She seemed like she would rather be anywhere but working there. In fact, she kept sighing and moaning the whole time she was ringing me up! Ridiculous. With so many people out there, unemployed and willing to work hard for a paycheck, Home Depot continuously hires people who clearly don't care about their company's image. read more

I was looking for an item and could not even locate the general area of where they should be (carpet cleaner). I checked the mobile website and even clicked the "store map". It opened up the map, but there was no 'pin' marker to tell me where it was. I went to the front of the store to ask them where Aisle E3 was. Two staff members had no idea where it was nor where carpet cleaners were located and told me to ask someone else. They also could not telecommunicate with other personnel throughout the store. I just started to remodel my home. On my first trip in I bought a $11 board and had it cut by the sales associate. When I got it home I saw that the board was cracked. I took it back to exchange it. They wouldn't take it back because it was cracked. It was transported home on my floor board. He said if it can't be resold they won't take it back. Why would you put crap merchandise back on the shelf? Since HD doesn't stand beside their products when they are faulty I refuse to shop here. I will be at Lowes for the rest of my remodel. I avoid this Home Depot at all cost. Store is extremely understaffed! I went here for the items I needed only because they weren't in stock in Murrieta. Asked a sales associate if I could get someone with a forklift to pull the items I needed from the shelves. Instead of helping me he responded "the fork lifts are out front" and proceeded to return to what he was doing. After walking up front I was told someone would be there in 5-10 minutes. 30 minutes later I had to ask at customer service. At 1 hr 15 minutes I called from the isle on my cell phone. At 2 hrs 20 minutes I walked up to customer service again and said I will be back in 30 minutes after picking my kid up from school and to please have it pulled down. If it wasn't for the better customer service at the Murrieta store I would cancel my Home Depot card. read more

This place doesn't deserve even one star!! We went into the store and we're told that the sample we had was mislabeled (not our fault) and that we would have to have the carpet reordered. They assured us they would "expedite" the order. Well as week went by and the store once again did not call or update us on our "expedited" order. Come to find out the weren't sure of the color (again) and once we reverified the color we were informed that the soonest we could expect it to ship was November 21st!! It won't even be installed until December 6th AND the store didn't even have the decency to call and tell us, my husband had to go down to the store and find out what was going on!! I have NEVER had such horrible customer service. I am advising my husband to have his Corporate Office to close their accounts and telling everyone to not shop here. What a nightmare! read more

Like all home depots - staff is very friendly.....some are inexperienced but always helpful. Great selection of merchandise and always very competitive pricing. Prefer this store to Lowes definitely. One minor complaint about this location is the low inventory of lumber carts to carry the longer pieces of wood. read more

The girl with the dreadlocks in the paint department only half listened to what paint I wanted, proceeded to make me the wrong color then made me wait twenty minutes before bothering to remake the paint. On June 3, 2018 I placed an order for a seven (7) piece patio set (six chairs and a table) from Home Depot located at 32020 Temecula Parkway Temecula, CA 92592 (the Customer Service Representative placed the order for me through their computer) and to be delivered to my home. On June 5, they delivered one box with six unassembled chairs, the delivery man informed me that the table will be delivered at a later date because it is on back order. On June 8, I contacted home depot and after speaking with the customer service representative, I asked when my table will be delivered, she informed me that Home Depot cannot deliver just the table because they only come in a set. She proceeded to tell me that I would have to re-order a new set, and I said why do I have to spend more money for the same thing I have already purchased, and you failed to deliver. I made several trips to the Home Depot Store in Temecula on Friday and Saturday and spoke to the manager about getting me the table but told me they could not do that! I was put in a black hole unnecessarily with no regards for the consumer and nowhere to turn. At this point I wanted to return the chairs but they refused to pick them up. Frankly, I don't understand how they can stay in business! Every attempt I made to resolve this issue, led nowhere! It is an unfair practice on their part. We did a whole package through these clowns: kitchen, carpet, and tile. It was the worst experience ever. Once the people in Home Depot are done selling you all the stuff they don't care about anything else. We had late contractors who didn't reschedule until the day of, we had no shows, we had missing products, late deliveries that pushed installation times out by more than 4 weeks. They lied to our faces about scheduling and/or deliveries. The manager, George, that I talked to didn't care at all. He basically gave me the same speech he probably gives all disgruntled customers. He promised to call the flooring installers to try and move dates closer and it never happened. We will NEVER do any installation business ever again with any Home Depot. We are going to try our best to not buy anything from this store again. I will say this, Lisa at customer service genuinely cared about helping us and did a great job trying to get answers, but the people she was trying to get answers from didn't care one bit. As far as the big shots at Hone Depot I got something to tell you all. Stop filling the isles with stuff. The guy who helped me went out of his way to help with all my questions. He made sure I had everything I needed and offered more help if necessary. Great employee and very knowledgeable. I like this Home Depot in particular. The staff in general are very helpful- I might go as far as to say, the most helpful out of all the Home Depot stores. One particular employee, Nicole ( usually on returns desk) is extremely nice and always helpful. They have a nice selection of plants. PLEASE, DON'T BUY PAINT HERE!!!!!!!!! Don't waste your time. Go to Dunn-Edwards. The paint shouldn't be spelled BEHR, it should be Bare, as in barely covers in 2 coats. The guy at the counter said that this is 1 coat paint over white walls. (Premium Plus Ultra) 2 coats in of a "Wheat Bread" color, over white walls and it looks like crap. I have painted MANY of rooms in the past and their paint is terrible not to mention that the paint counter guy doesn't know anything about the abilities of their product. NEVER had these issues with Dunn Edwards paint. It may be cheaper to buy BEHR at Home Depot but you will need DOUBLE the amount of paint so you actually aren't saving any money. Plus gas to go back to buy more paint. Just go buy real paint at Dunn Edwards and save lots of time. read more

Home Depot has a lot of the stuff we need when it comes to projects and home improvement. We buy most of our lumber there because it's close to our house. They have a good plant selection and they also have lots of veggies and herbs right now. There's a big parking lot and we never have a problem finding a spot. They also recently started offering 10% off for military. Everyone there, today especially, was very friendly and asked if we needed any help or how we were doing. I found what I needed easily and we were good to go. One star comes off because the cashiers were really slow today. I don't know if they were training or what, but spending over 10 minutes on one customer is way too long. read more

Anywho he pointed us in the direction of where to get the pipes cut , no one was there so we hunted down an employee named Terry , who was more then happy to help us even though he was busy , he was so nice and helpful and I think the other employees could definitely learn a thing or two from him. We go to Home Depot every week in both Mission Viejo and Temecula for our home and Rental properties. Most of the time we know what we need to get but every once in awhile we need help. This particular night we needed help with copper pipe fittings for an emergency repair. It was just about closing time and while usually most stores including Home Depot don't offer much help at closing time instead try to rush and usher you out , Greg in plumbing department at the Temecula location came to our rescue. He knew exactly what we did not know and directed us to what we needed and was so knowledgeable and friendly . read more

It has been over a year, June 14, 2018 to date 08/2/19 to complete our KraftMaid cabinet installation. They reordered several doors and forgot one so we are stuck again until August 22, 2019 (estimate delivery) for a single door. Poor response from Home Depot Customer Service (Atlanta Georgia). They just want to wait until our project is complete to consider compensation for this disaster. We have spent a substantial amount of money with Home Depot in Temecula. Very unhappy with this particualr situation. Do not use Home Depot as the services provider. They do not care at all how long it takes or what conditions your has to remain in for over a year. read more

I have used this Home Depot since it opened. The location is convenient and I usually get great service. Yesterday, however, after a delivery of construction materials that was a day late and required multiple calls from the driver who was lost (a previous Home Depot driver had lopped off part of an olive tree) and earlier in the week, a particularly annoying experience ordering windows in the store I AM DONE. From now on I'll be going to Hanks or Dixieline where quality, prices, expertise, and delivery are on the whole significantly better. At least I'll be dealing with professionals. read more
