CABINETS: 8/10 They had a few rows of cabinets with shaker and wood framed options. There were also some floor samples and a few kitchen demos as well. However, we were just SHOPPING and BROWSING on our own because everyone was occupied and none of the staff greeted us or asked US if we NEEDED any HELP... VALUE: 8/10 Prices are reasonable. There were quite a few selections of Quartz and Marble countertops. I was looking for a countertop with very subtle veins so it was quite a challenge to find that... If you enjoy SHOPPING on your own with no one to bother or help you out then, this is the place for you!! Five stars for Gary Frisch who is a windows consultant for the Home Depot located in Murrieta(both locations), Temecula and Perris. He is professional, punctual and respectful which are great traits to have in any career. He provided solutions and was very observant. I requested a consultation for our sliding glass door and as he was walking to the backyard he notices a window that I had cracked last year that I had forgotten about! Long story short we're replacing 12 out of 15 windows including the sliding glass door. He provided competitive pricing and although I got other quotes, it was Gary who we went with. Curbside delivery here is trash... they rarely come out within 5 minutes of checking in on the app and almost always have to call the store to get them to bring out the order... unacceptable. The new Murrieta store they have your order out within minutes. read more

Buy your windows and slider anywhere else and see my previous post since they have not rectified the problems. This is 7 months of b.s. After the last review 13 days ago about my approximately 15th attempt (conservatively) they responded with a link to give them more information that led to their website with no form to fill out. I called corporate customer service last Wednesday. I was told I will receive a call within 24-48 hours. I was told notes were under my purchase order of my install issues. A week later no call. I called corporate again yesterday where I was told they had no record of my call the week before. The person I dealt with on the phone was short and ended the conversation without resolution. We are 24 hours into this so hopefully this gets some attention. At this point I would happily remove the patio slider myself, drive it to them, and take a refund. Shotty work. read more

Bought their soil that's on sale & now I have to repot and get a refund for the THIRD bag of soil thats FULL of white grey web mold and green disc looking growths. Just potted yam sprouts and the fungus is already onto the ROOTS after ONE WEEK. I'll be going to my usual place for soil. This was ridiculous. I am grateful that they refund but I am sure this could've been caught. I know other places they at least cut the bags open and try to salvage what they can thankfully I had these in clear containers so I could see how it went down! You have an employee there by the name of Jim, he says he's been there for 4 years. One of the most friendliest and most helpful employees we have come across by far! The only downfall of my visit was the fresh flower bouquets were wilted and unimpressive plus this store makes it so difficult to register your number just to get your military discount when all Lowe's needs is your phone number. I like being able to use my app while in store to guide me to find the things I need and I appreciate that it's pretty accurate for the most part. Although I did look up a specific tree that said wasn't carried in store, but there was a bunch of them in the garden center. read more

Went to buy a washer machine today, Guy in the area showed me a washer. I said I would take it now, He said a few day, I said I needed a washer today. he didnt have any. However we looked around 20 sec later and found HOT POINT was in inventory and said you can take home today, "Inventory in stock", We asked him about this one, he walked away came back and started to helping someone else. We are so disappointed in the service. Went to LOWE'S and Bought one there, It was a GE washer. What great service. I went in to this location to replace a battery for my rigid impact gun and when I asked the supervisor of the hardware dept. "Dave" was reluctant to assist I showed him what battery I was looking for he took me over to the batteries and before handing me the battery he mentioned the price like I wasn't able to afford it I said I was warranting this one out he said "oh no you have to go through rigid" I said " we'll see" I went to the service desk where laura and Abigail told me to just go get the battery so I retuned to the hardware dept and had asked dave to go ahead and unlock the battery for me and when he unlocked it he HAD to walk me to the service desk and the switch went on without any issues and he lingered there during the transaction I don't know what for but I have never experienced profiling like this at this location usually everyone is super helpful but not "Dave" read more

I use the curbside pick up or try to use it because I am Handicapped. My last order I waited over 30 minutes then I called the store and they said we stopped Curbside pick up at 6pm it was 6:10. My son and I always shop at Home Depot all time. This last time we went he had two Milwaukee guys help him out and then give his merchandise to the register and he paid for it and walked out and opened it and it was the wrong product old dirty one. Home Depot decided to take the product and say that they were going to do loss prevention and now my son has a receipt for $300 and no product. Sad. The other day I came in for an item that was on sale. All the staff were wonderful and tried everything they could to locate the item for me. Today I went in and saw that there were two of the leafblowers I was looking for. I scanned the bar code for assistance and a kind and pleasant worker from the lighting department came over to assist me. I explained the circumstances to her and she walked me to the cashier and asked the manager if they could honor the price, and they did! Murrieta is my favorite location. I took my RYOBI leaf blower into this Home Depot. The battery was burned into the charger and almost caught my garage on fire. The battery clearly states it has a 5 year warranty. He offered to sell me another one and zero discount. I asked him why I would re-purchase something that's dangerous. They gave me the website for ryobi. Like I'll buy tons of stuff on my pro account and guess what I have kids. 5 of them and my items were just barley over the 90 day mark. She went above and beyond for my family. Even though it's only store credit. It's okay. I was excited because I was nervous and scared about the days. Basically she saved our entire family. With gas going up and inflation these little things in helping us just over the 90 days help's because life does happen and I always delay and delay my project. I am a female so it's 10 times harder to finish the project. I wish I was stronger and I wish I had 72 hours in 1 day to finish things but I'll start something and my kids immediately need me and I abandon projects all the time then I wake up half the project and sometimes I just give up...lol or find out I didn't need it. No longer going to shop or support Home Depot for my home projects. I ordered some tile to be delivered to the store and it came in oversized ripped up cardboard boxes and the tile was shattered. I had arranged for a tile company to do the install and waited over a month for an appointment. I now have to send my tile company away because the tile I ordered from Home Depot is useless. I am booked again for another month out and currently trying to find other tile companies to bid the job. Shame on Home Depot for transporting tile in this way. Unbelievable. I have a project to work on this week (Thanksgiving week), so I went in with my husband to get stuffs we need. It's a great store with most helpful employees that help us what we need. There is one young guy work in roofing supplies department that is very helpful, also, one older gentleman offered to help when he saw us carry a lot of big stuff to load into our car. However, there are couple young girls at the checkout counter that just standing there and talk without even offering to help to check out customers. Not just us but I saw other customers were there but they just talk away until one really comes up close to them. Home Depot doesn't really needs employees like that (even for seasonal, because they will just ruin the image of the business) but rather pay more for those who really there for the job such as those employees I mentioned above. Home Depot is the great store, but certain employees will ruin the image of their business. read more

First off, I have to say that this is and has been for many years my favorite place to shop. It has not been uncommon for me to be there 4-5 times a week when planning or working on a project, the folks that work there are all super nice, knowledgeable professionals that will take their time to help and answer questions unlike the other blue store. That being said, I feel compelled to write this negative review. I have needed a new grill for some time and was trying to decide if I should go mid-level or bump it up to a nice Weber; I decided on a Weber thinking that the quality would be better and it would last longer. I did my due diligence researching each grill and based on my needs picked out one that was just shy of $1000. Lots of places offer free set-up and delivery so I was hoping that Home Depot did as well, the signs in the store verified that they did and I went home to do some final research and order. I found the grill that I wanted, it was in my price range, and it offered free delivery. I used the chat feature on HomeDepot.com to speak with a rep who verified that it was available in my local store, could be delivered for free the next day (that was important), and that they would assemble it prior to delivery (also a key requirement). I was very happy, thanked the representative, and placed my order. All of this took about 45 minutes online but it seemed worth it as I got what I was looking for. I let my wife know that it would be delivered the next day and she was able to move her schedule around to ensure she would be there in the delivery window (between 6:00 am and 8:00 pm). The next morning, I logged onto the Home Depot app to track the grills delivery and let my wife know when to expect it, only the app showed the delivery date was now Friday versus the established Tuesday. I was a little confused and hoped that the app was incorrect so I called Home Depot customer service. After a little while I was told that my grill was originally scheduled to be delivered on Tuesday but there was not room on the delivery truck to it was shifted to Friday, no one called/emailed me to notify me of this change and I explained this and the fact that I needed the grill for a specific occasion that night and that was why I ordered it versus picking it up at the store myself. The customer service rep went back and forth with someone in her office and told me that was the way it was and I couldn't get it any earlier. My credit card had already been billed and I was at work all day so I was stuck. I continued to check the Home Depot app and this morning (Friday) it showed that my grill was out for delivery, I was home so I was excited to receive it. At 8:04 am I went outside to my truck to get something and as I walked around the corner of my house I saw the grill, wrapped in shrink wrap, sitting in the driveway. No one had called or knocked on the door to let me know it was there, they simply left this $1000 grill sitting there in hopes that I would find it. I moved the grill into the back yard and then checked several of my Ring cameras (all bought at the same Home Depot) and saw that at 7:27, 37 minutes prior to me finding the grill, a delivery truck had pulled up and dropped it off. There was no attempt to call me or just ring the doorbell (a Ring doorbell, purchased at the same Home Depot) to let me know that it was there. There was also no call afterwards to let me know that they had dropped off the grill on the side of my house, telling me I should go move it before someone walked or drove by and saw it and decided to take it. All of this is very uncharacteristic of this Home Depot, I have dealt with Lori, Steve, Felix, and many other associates for many years and have nothing but trust in them; I can only attribute this to the online sales and delivery portion. My take away for you is make sure to verify and reverify your order and delivery date, don't expect a call the day prior or the day of delivery, and keep an eye out for your delivery on your driveway lest someone decide they want your item more that you do. This has been a huge let down and although it won't sway me to start shopping at the big blue store it really lowered my overall expectation of Home Depot. I will also be bringing this to the store managers attention. Thanks for reading. read more
