I called HD to see if they could come back and level. Before I could finish explaining he told me to call the base. I told him HD installed and he said "call them" and i said The base didn't install it. My biggest problem with this location is that the people here all assume I have been here before. If I am asking you where to find a certain thing, at the very least please point in the direction or give me an aisle number instead of just telling me which dept to go to. Some specifics would be nice. I'm mostly speaking of the cashier that was working near the lumber entrance when I went. Not very helpful. The store did have what I needed, and I was able to find it, but through no assistance of this associate. There was another associate that was able to point for me, so that helped. However, I did have a lost look while I wandered around, and the first guy waited til I said something about "Can you help me?" instead of offering help while I stood there staring at the side of his face. When I got home, there was one incorrect item and I needed additional items. Went back and they handled the exchange verification nicely and d checked me out. We moved to Green Valley a couple years ago and had our blinds put in by Home Depot. We absolutely love them but we have high windows (these blinds open from the bottom or the top) and we could not open from the top down without a long pole and we had to do this in each room. This was not very convenient to have to go room to room to do this. My husband stopped at Home depot and talked to Olga who was unbelievably helpful!! She not only found a way to get our blinds replaced with the pull cords, she kept in touch with both my husband and I throughout the whole process (including letting us know there was a sale going on that would help and she didn't want us to miss that) Olga was amazing and hopefully is a very treasured employee of the Home Depot team!! What's with the slow, uneducated service in this store??? Is no one properly trained & motivated here? Ace Hardware is definitely the place for good & knowledgeable service when compared to the service given by these employees. All stores offer the same products. What's different is the service each store offers. This store sucks! Management needs to educate these people or trade them off for trainable people. This is the worst Hime Depot I've ever been to hands down. This store has the worst location and accessibility. The employees are very incompetent and lazy. If you call expect a 20 min wait time. But the worst was.... I placed an order with them and was told it would be in in about 2 weeks. I expected longer, but not over a month. To make it worse they called and told me it was ready so I drove up. A 100 mile trip. I got there and it wasn't there. The worker said it would be there the following day and offered to have it shipped to the house for free instead. He took our number and said he would call us the following day regardless. He did not call. Nothing arrived. We waited a day and called. Still hadn't arrived to the store. We called everyday even when they said they would call us when it's in. Finally after a month they said it was there and had been for 3 days already. We drove up again. The process of trying to find someone to locate it and put it on our truck took over an hour. Nobody knew what they were doing. No departments would answer the phone. The employees were having a nice time chit chatting and standing around. I finally had to ask to speak to a manager. After over a month of waiting, two one hundred mile trips and back, and dozens of phone calls, I got my product. Never again. Even worse worse, while waiting for them to bring out and load my product a little old man came out of the store with a cart full of concrete in one hand and pushing his wife's wheelchair with another. He was struggling. He went passed employees who did nothing. He got to the middle of the road when he lost the cart and then myself and another customer offered to help him. We helped him to the car and the other customer helped him load the concrete. I CANNOT imagine how the employees could have let him walk by without asking to help. They must not have a conscience or else really not have any respect for themselves. Disgusting. I'm so disappointed. I want to call a corporate number and report this. read more

Today was my first experience with curbside pickup. I ordered some items online and was able to park out front in a designated curbside space and text a code to a certain number and a few minutes later an employee comes out with my items. I'm extremely satisfied with this service. It's very convenient during COVID and I'm glad the store offers it. read more

Do not expect any loyalty to Home Depot to be acknowledged or appreciated at this location. Long story short. There was an issue with an online sale sent to this store last year which they promptly lost, which gave me expectations for compensation. What I expected and what the management was willing to give differed by $150. After a lifetime of loyalty to this brand they are willing to loose me as a customer over $150! I even added up my last 3 years of receipts and brought them into the store to convince the manager Lance to bridge the divide. I showed them I spend $5000/year at Home Depot and more impressively I've only been to Lowe's 11 times in the last 3 years. This had no effect they couldn't have cared less. Take my advice. We have spent so much money at this Home Depot only to be disappointed time and time again we purchased so many appliances as well as flooring. As we are in the real estate business. However onto my review six months ago we purchased carpet for one of our rentals. We were extremely dissatisfied with the service Home Depot provided. We contacted the stores manager Maurice. He guaranteed us to fix the problem and insured he would replace the carpet in which we were unsatisfied with. He told us to wait for a phone call that he would rectify the situation however no phone call ever came. My husband and I went into Home Depot and spoke to Maurice face-to-face, and which he lied once again that he would fix the situation with the rug in our rental. Maurice told the company Home Depot hires that we were liars yeah and he did not say he would fix the problem with the carpets in the rental. Once again if you are looking at doing flooring do not go to Home Depot on Irvington and do not speak to Maurice unless you like being lied to this guy is horrible and I don't even know how Home Depot has him employed there he should be fired!!!! read more

WARNING.. DO NOT PURCHASE APPLIANCES FROM HOME DEPOT We purchased complete kitchen appliances ( stove , dishwasher, microwave, and refrigerator. All made by whirlpool.. Wanted them to match.. We also purchased a GE washing machine and gas dryer.. The GE products work great.. The whirlpool products, the dishwasher and microwave work great. The Gas stove works great also, but they no longer come with a broiler pan. The WHIRLPOOL Refrigerator, only comes with two.....TWO shelves for the freezer, and the whole refrigerator makes a very loud humming and buzzing noise.....Had whirlpool come out, and first thing they said, THEY ALL MAKE NOISE.. I am 70 years old and have owned 7 refrigerators.. NEVER had one this load.. To TRY to fix the Tech, went to his truck and brought back a Styrofoam tray like they put a steak on at the grocery, and took a few pieces off and said that would make it not so loud. .Did nothing. Now the thing has two loud sounds. Purchased two months ago, went to HOME DEPOT.. and asked to return and get a new one... NO RETURNS ON APPLIANCES.. DO NOT SHOP HOME DEPOT FOR APPLIANCES. I will never order anything from the Home Depot on Irvington ever again. I went on Saturday May 1st to buy a grill and they advised me that with the dollar amount of that grill that it would be assembled and delivered for no charge. This grill was in-stock at the store. I am having a party tomorrow May 8th and set up delivery for May 7th. My delivery time was by 8pm. When I call the automated system it tells me my order is still being pulled and will get an email once shipped. Tried talking to store rep and got hung up on twice. Completely unprofessional. If I would of known this I would of just brought it home that day! read more

Years ago, I was a regular at Home Depot. I found the team to be very knowledgeable and helpful. But, alas, wasn't happy with the prices. The staff is still a cool bunch. I do get the sense that people enjoy working here and are invested in supporting us non-contracted home repair specialists in training to get the job done, and get it done right the first time. I've had to call on Home Depot for help with weeds, plumbing protection, blinds -- even a washer and dryer. To date, I have been pleased with the level of attention and advice given, and also with the products purchased. FYI on this particular location -- it's located in a busy shopping square, so keep an eye out for inattentive drivers. But there is always ample parking. It seems quite the busy spot for contractors. They also have a pick up spot for contractors. Folks clearly working for small and larger companies are always coming and going. They seem to keep pretty well stocked -- except for the outdoor section. Lowe's appears to have them beat there. read more

How pleasant, a worker talking about his new house, liberally sprinkled with the F Word. Nice. Other than that though, this one is usually well stocked, not out of things, or only having them up high. There is almost always someone around to ask for help. The saw has been broken for two weeks, so if you need wood trimmed call first. Never a long line, bathrooms clean, and other than Mr Curse Word the employees seem polite. They do have cold drinks and some snacks, which is handy during a project, and the house plant section is very nice. Also, the outdoor area has everything from small flowers to trees, and everything you need to care for them. read more

Went in to browse light fixtures for our kitchen and found what we wanted at a fraction of the lighting store price. We then went over to the faux wood blinds and found the measurements we needed! We went over and spoke with Spencer and with his wealth of knowledge helped us decide on what blinds to get for our master bedroom which was a challenge with a length of 96" then, best of all for $50 they'll measure and another modest amount install all our window treatments! read more

This location is awesome in that it's close to everything else. That means I can actually a company my husband to Home Depot then plan on going shopping for other things including groceries. We can even take the kids if we want to cuz we can stop at McDonald's or Peter Piper Pizza. The customer service at this location also seems to be up to par, they're really good on exchanging or accepting returned merchandise that my husband buys and inadvertently breaks because of the type of work he does. read more

I just went in the store to get a hammer drill. I've been using rigid cordless tools for a while now. So, I asked the For assistance from an employee to unlock the cage to get the hammer drill which does not come with batteries, and that I needed a battery as well. He took the hammer drill and said he had to take it up to the front and leave it with customer service so that I can purchase it on my way out. I told him I needed a battery as well. They are also in a cage on the same aisle. He said let me know when you're done and just walked away. So I decided fine I'll just use the batteries I already have. So the customer service rep walked over to the self checkout lane scanned the item and said pay there and walked away. I found the behavior of the customer service representative and the employee to be quite rude. I will think twice about shopping at Home Depot again. I am also considering waiting until the batteries that I have already begun to fail and throw these Ridgid tools out and replace them with something that I can buy at more venues. read more

Worst cashier interaction seen to date. After watching 3 cashiers playing grab ass and gossiping finally got to the one cashier operating. She was slow in inputting my military discount. Followed by "too bad" I can't do anything. In that case cancel the transaction and redo it.... "I can't" Two other "cashiers" came up with excuses such as "It's a debit transaction" .... it wasn't. Frustrating as they were more involved in playing at work than doing their jobs. Btw.... went to the return counter for my total refund. Talked to the manager. And went to another retailer. 20 minutes of my life wasted by incompetence. read more

I had a horrible experience at this Home Depot at Christmas time and I swore I would never come back. But I needed moving boxes and I knew they had ones. So I tried again. My views changed when I came to this store last week. I met this wonderful sale associate TONY! He was sweet. He asked if I needed help within just a few minutes of walking in the door. I had no idea where anything was so he walked me to the moving boxes that I needed, (seeing I was dreading going to this store again, I had no idea where anything was!!) he was so helpful and after I told him my last experience he apologized and shake my hand after he introduced himself. If I could give zero stars, I WOULD. i was in this home depot location for only 20 minutes and I had witnessed SIX CUSTOMERS NOT WEARING MASKS. There are multiple signs in the store but what good is a sign if it's not going to be enforced? I asked to speak to a manager and ended up speaking to the assistant manager, Spencer. Spencer was very defensive, interrupted me multiple times and did not seem to want to help. I expressed multiple concerns to which he told me I could use curbside pickup or not go in the store at all (Trust me, I won't be back). I told him that he need to understand that me, a rule following customer should have more of a right to be in the store than someone not wearing a mask. Why can't he tell the customers not wearing a mask to use curbside instead? I witnessed babies who are too young to wear masks and they are at an even higher risk and home depot is allow babies to be exposed because they don't enforce THEIR OWN RULES. I will be taking this up with corporate and I will make sure everyone knows that home depot does not care about the health of their customers. read more

Wow talk about horrible customer service. I've never been more annoyed with them. Been visiting the store wanting to get my countertops replaced and I finally had the measurements and selected what I wanted and I'm there waiting for 20 minutes for the only person working there. When he finally finishes helping the 2nd person, he asked what we want (duh countertops!) I said I'm ready to order countertops, he says do you have an appointment because I need to take my lunch or I'll be angry. Excuse me??? That's customer service??? That's how you talk to customers??? He then proceeded to tell me that he has an 11am appointment and never offers r schedule an appointment. He walks away. WOW. I was so upset. I asked the guy next to him in the appliances for help or to see if anyone else is available in that department, only to find out he's the only one in that department and the appliance guy is useless. It is hard to find assistance at this store, and when you do find it, it is unprofessional as another reviewer mentioned. No one knew what ceramic glue was or where I could find it. When we finally located it, the worker still had a hard time making a suggestion for my project. I stood there awhile and finally selected something that I thought would work. Veterans Beware: what is advertised as a special for free installation is a scam. We were told that the military discount was available for this promotion and that installation was free. However when we received the invoice the pad cost was listed under the installation at a cost of $767.17 And was NOT included in the military discount. Only the carpet was eligible as the " pad is part of the installation provided by the installer". We, however, paid Home Depot for the pad not an installer and the Free installation cost us $767.81 as the pad was not a product but a part of the installation. We spoke to the installation dept at Home Depot no less than 3 times until finally we received a call from the supervisor who proceeded to tell us that the pad is not a product but part of the install, but installation was free. So the free install pad not a product but part of the install that cost us $767.81 and not eligible for a discount. Never again will we patronize this store who supposedly supports veterans but in actuality finds ways to screw them. read more
