Unfortunately, my truck failed inspection because the Best Buy technician did not properly install the reader that the admissions must use to read the readings on your vehicle . The job was halfway done when I encountered issues with the Remote Start they installed with the female port of the key fob. This port broke, preventing you from charging the Remote Start to the vehicle. Now I have to try to get that replaced under my covered warranty with Best Buy. The name of the store should be Worst Buy. Overall, the customer service was terrible. They should either go out of business or switch to an online-only model, similar to Circuit City. It's too bad they are a monopoly on TVs, surround sound systems, computers, electronics, etc. I definitely would not recommend these guys at all. It amazes me how much information these foreign countries have on us, US citizens, so these greedy CEOs can keep making their millions and paying workers in Guatemala a dollar a day or whatever it is. What I got instead was a 5-second verdict. The associate literally handed the device back, saying the repair would be "expensive" and that I should buy a new iPad-- without opening it without testing it without diagnosing the actual issue without even trying to check A DROP OFF appointment. And zero inspection happened. Then came the real twist. When I purchased the Best Buy Total Tech / repair subscription on 4/4/2025, I was clearly told: ANY electronic device (laptops, iPhones, Android phones, tablets, etc.) is covered for 1-year repairs -- regardless of where it was purchased. At the counter I was told the opposite: Only devices bought from Best Buy, and only if purchased AFTER the membership date, are eligible for repair coverage. So basically: what was sold to me what is being delivered to me. Today felt less like customer service and more like: "Don't repair it... replace it. And buy it from us." There were two ladies, I'm pretty sure it said geek squad on her shirt and her name was "Monica" I asked them if they knew where I could find the ring at. I bought Samsung 24 cell phone and protection plan from best buy. I brought my phone in for a screen repair and paid 199 for the repair. After receiving my phone back I immediately notice the phone would not keep calls. I went back to the geek squad but they denied damaging the phone. It's a typical Best Buy. The store is always clean, but the shelves are often cluttered, with items in the wrong place. I came here recently to purchase a few home theater items as well as new camera lenses for my Nikon. I was not very impressed with the selection. However, I received great customer service here as usual. During a recent visit, I was immediately greeted upon arrival, and was asked if I needed help finding anything. The woman who helped me was fantastic, and extremely knowledgeable about the cameras and what they had in stock. When it came to finding the home theater items, she solicited the aid of a coworker, who was equally as knowledgeable and helpful. Color me impressed. Both of them were awesome, and offered to order what I wanted online, and pick it up later from them. However I did not want to buy anything without seeing it in person first. Unfortunately, this is how I felt during my actual (waking) trip to this new Best Buy store. Well, all except for the toilet thing. If Best Buy had its own personal hell it would be at this location in South Tucson. I needed a heavy duty laser printer for my small business. After doing my research online, I went into the store to do my due diligence and hopefully lean more. I feel better about making large purchases in person and had gone to Beat Buy with the intention of taking the printer I needed home. The store was so DIRTY and all the printers had a thick layer of grime and dust everywhere. There were obvious broken display printers on display, one printer had a handwritten sticky note on it warning customers of broken glass on the display screen. After 3 associates claiming they would be "right back" and waiting my turn for about 30min, I was addressed by a sales associate. After explaining what I was looking for (in as much detail as I could), another woman came screaming from behind me "I was first! I was first!" The sales associate then proceeded to ignore me and assist the screaming woman as he walked past me. I left the store and went to Office Depot where my experience was 100x better and I ended up purchasing the high capacity printer I needed, replacement toner, and paper for the next 3 months. Office Max should send Best Buy (at the Santa Cruz location) a thank you card for sending them so many customers. Just runaway from this particular Best Buy and never look back! read more

Eventually the guy from Cox cable came over and gave me a hand. They found a blue shirt with a ladder to grab the TV off the shelf, they rang me up and I left. There was zero customer service. I was wandering around the store for a good 10 minutes before anyone asked if I needed help. If it weren't for the Cox guy, I would probably still be there.
