Read on my friends! And also, please don't shop at Home Depot. Please don't support a big box entity that craps on us little guys. So about two weeks ago I bought a set of attachments that I thought would work with my awesome Ryobi tools. So I brought it home and discovered that the item I bought at the Home Depot, will not work with my awesome Ryobi tools. So I take the attachment pack that will not work back to the Home Depot only to find out there's a lovely new bullshit policy. So get this y'all if you accidentally purchase the wrong thing from Home Depot and you don't open it or damage the packaging in anyway whatsoever, if you have your receipt you are good to go. If you have the credit card, assuming you used a credit card that you purchased the item on, you are also good to go but if you use cash to purchase your items, you're just straight up fucked. You're stuck with an item that doesn't work with your awesome Ryobi tools. I have attached a picture of the item that will not work with my awesome Ryobi tools so if anybody really miss in Tulsa Oklahoma would like to purchase this crap from me, look me up. Oh, PS, I'm a landscaper and I own a small landscaping business. I spend a shit ton of money at Home Depot, well I used to spend a shit ton of money up at Home Depot but I officially will not shop there anymore. Just got off the phone with "customer service". A girl answered the phone laughing as I could hear a customer yelling in the back ground. She did not say hello to me just continued to laugh and tell the guy "you have a good day" sarcastically. Then she finally greeted me and then put me on hold until it started ringing again and then a gentleman picked up the phone and was extremely rude to me. I asked if they could contact their delivery driver to find out and approximate time of delivery or a time frame, not an exact time, I'm aware that is not possible. He replied with silence and I said "hello" he then said "it will be there sometime" very rude tone. Don't expect any kind of customer service from this location. read more

I had quite a productive domestic Saturday recently and decided to see if I get get some kind of black-out shades for Mister Baby's room since he started taking quicker naps/waking up a little earlier... I mean, I'll take any extra sleep I can get so why not try? Even though no such easy thing exists since I already have shutters (although the bed sheets I taped over the walls have gotten me 30 extra min!) Charles was crazy helpful while listening to me while chasing said mister baby around the store. Many might refer to this place as the "Walmart" of hardware stores.. Well they're probably right. You do get some of the same kind of crazy customers that you might bump into shopping at Walmart on a weekend afternoon. But you do also get cheap prices! As a consumer, this is what keeps me coming back. Not all things are cheaper than other competitor hardware stores. But on average I would say things tend to be a little cheaper at The Home Depot. I don't think this is the best location, but it's the closest one to home. Try shopping early to avoid the crowd. read more

It's Home Depot. Nothing glamorous or snazzy. The people are friendly but won't acknowledge you at the counters if they are working with someone else. I don't expect them to break away from their current customer (that would be rude) but I do expect them to say, "I'll be with you in a moment." Otherwise, be careful what you buy here. Husband and I went to purchase a toilet. Complete with delivery and instillation. Should have been a simple swing by and spend 5-10 minutes at the customer service desk. I realize that we came at a busy time but that definitely wasn't the issue. We were second in line and things seemed to go off without a hitch. We asked for my military discount to be honored. That's when everything went sideways. One cashier turned into two, shaking their heads and trying to figure out a "new system" that they clearly hadn't been trained on. Half an hour later with the assistance of a third cashier. The three of them figure out how to cancel the old order and input the new one while applying the discount. Apparently the manager was conducting interviews and the assistant manager couldn't be bothered to take notice of the issue given that he was at the second register, and then disappeared. Finally after all of that is done and we are walking out the door thinking we've got everything sorted, we get a phone call to schedule the install. It's at this point that my temper flares. We were informed that we were expected to have the toilet with us. When we had made it plainly clear several times to three different cashiers that we wanted delivery and installation. We were informed that we needed to return to the store and pay an additional $70 fee (that was never mentioned, when we had previously requested delivery), or pickup the toilet. Mind you were halfway across town at this point and we've been out all day running errands. So our 10 minute stop at Home Depot has turned into a two day multiple hours long fiasco. The cherry on top is there won't be a contractor available for over a week. Home Depot needs to train employees on new systems before they are expected to utilize them during peak hours and should employ more attentive managers to avoid issues like this in the future. At the very least have a shift lead who knows how the new system works! read more

I'm going to write two reviews because we just purchased our home so we've been in and out of Home Depot SO many times without any issues. Today Pam at the return desk infuriated me. My husband and I had one item- a package of hooks, we planned on using store credit to purchase this item and a ID must be shown so self checkout wasn't an option, there was only one register open besides Pam and her teammate at returns . The other register had a customer with a full cart load like I'm not one to whine but I'm talking full. We approached Pam to ask if it were possible if she could ring us up, since it was store credit I thought this is the area I should be in. Instead she said no and pointed to the other register, we thought ok she's busy or she can't so we will wait in the other line. While we are in line waiting, My husband whispers in my ear to look, I glance over and not 5 seconds after we left her register a Caucasian couple with several items followed by 2 others she rang up without hesitation after making direct eye contact with both of us. My husband and I are hard working, honest people I couldn't help but think that our business wasn't welcomed. I wouldn't have even givin it a second thought until the moment we made eye contact. Thinking I might just drive the extra 4 Miles to Lowe's. I work in customer service and would never turn one customer away only to help the other it's just plain rude. I returned a couple of items on Sunday morning with a receipt. I was told by the store associate that I didnt have the same card used to purchase the items so I was given a hard time but finally I got a gift card. I walked around the store to pick up some other items and I used a portion of the gift card with the ID that was provided to get the gift card. Later on that same day I had to go to back and return an item I purchased with the gift card with receipt. Once again I was hassled about not having the correct ID for the gift card. Upon further arguement I was not given a refund at all. Frustrated with all of this I chose to leave the store. I was stopped by the associate that I had forgotten my item I was trying to return with receipt. I kindly reminded them I didnt need the item that was why I was here and that they could keep it. This has been one of the worst experiences I have had with a business yet. I was using Home Depot because of the military discount however there are other home improvement stores that offer the same Military discount so I will exclusively us those stores over Home Depot. read more

Rusty was extremely helpful in appliances. Front cashier very unknowledgeable, NICK was very unprofessional wouldn't help no matter what! All he could do was laugh at me because I didn't understand why my discount was not what he said it should of been. It took 25 minutes to get a 4 cubic ft refrigerator loaded in my car. NO ONE IN THE CASHIER AREA COULD HELP AT ALL! I WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS STORE! We have always bought our appliances at Home Depot but today I returned over $2800 in appliances that were on order due to not in stock and I went and spent my money at Lowes. They were extremely helpful and cheaper! We have been in business for over 25 years and I've been a supervisor for 21 years (in the medical field). There is no excuse for rudeness!
