So I usually don't go here I go to Lowe's but I had to get some red ant killer and they were on my home last week. Stopped by not busy at all I was shocked. I needed to ask them what product they suggested and a nice young man was right there to assist me. He suggested the best red ant killer and made sure I knew If it didn't work I could bring back the product for an exchange or refund. I never knew that was an option. I made my way to the tub fixes and another man was there to help me. This was a big deal cause usually i can never find a soul when I needed one. It was HUGE the largest Home Depot I ever been to. On the island I'm from it's big. This one holds about three of the one on the island. I didn't buy anything, I came to return something and get the feel of the store. It was a great experience coming from a small island. I will, however continue ordering online. I have been to this Home Depot in Upland in the past, but it seems I haven't done a review on it. So here I go... I came here recently to help my Mom buy some ant spray. She usually buy the generic brand called Real Kill. It's a lot cheaper than the known brand such as Raid. I ended up buying a dozen of Real Kill. It was less than $3.50 per can. Price was not bad at all. There was a wait in line for the registers, but it went fairly swiftly. Once it was my turn, I got up to the counter. The nice lady staff scanned the ant sprays. I paid and I was on my merry way. One thing about this Home Depot that I don't care for is the tight parking. One thing that I do like is the wonderful staff who are usually helpful. Inside is quite clean and organized. Sometimes it's easy to find things. Other times not so much. It all depends on the items. I do not know why I choose to keep coming here for paint, thinking it's going to be a different experience, the older white lady and the older man working behind the counter in the paint area were super rude! I wanted a specific type of paint and primer and I asked them for it, usually I get the can and bring my color, the same white lady has told me not to get the can "they dont need it". So today I ask for my paint and I go check out and it's more than usual I went back to let them know this is not the one I wanted, she looks at me and said that's the price and I said I know but it's not the one I wanted, the one I wanted is cheaper and she looks at me and laughs and says "prices have gone up, (like if I can't afford it) no paint cost $15 " I look her and the older man in the face and say I've been coming here and always get this quart for this price! Went in around 7:30 pm on 10/28/25 and some older white lady with short hair working the paint section was so rude & condescending. I expect certain behavior from men going into Home Depot but from another woman herself threw me off completely. From the start I could tell she was in a bad mood, I just needed paint and she was speaking to me like I was one of her employees or her children. She laughed at me when I was clearly confused and like I mentioned just super condescending. Ultimately, I ended up just leaving and not getting anything because I didn't want her to have any of my energy. Definitely ruined my experience shopping here. After calling to see when I would receive my order, the woman on the phone was incredibly kind, apologetic, and provided amazing customer service. I've gone to Home Depot for about 7 years to get material for work. I've gone to many different locations from Fontana Rialto menifee Irvine mission viejo Long Beach and each has always been good and with a staff that does try to help. But THIS Home Depot is the WORST! I had to get some 4x4x12 And one guy instead of trying to help me he says "I'll get someone who could help you" so he had me wait for about 20min and no one showed up. So I used one of the big step ladders they have and I grabbed about 14 of the 4x4 to just have a different employee tell me "hey you can't use that" and to top it off a cashier lady tell me I can't pay for all the wood I got with her and I had to go to a specific line. I've never been to a Home Depot with a staff that feels like they intentionally make your visit there hard. Like me asking for help is an inconvenience for them. Went in to the store to get some paint and casually looked at blinds when Francine saw that looked like we needed help. She came over and really explained measurements and how to install blinds. She really took the time to help us look at all of our measurements and picked the right blinds for our new home. We had over 10 blinds to buy and she was so patient cutting all of the blinds for us to make sure they fit perfectly. She made our visit here welcoming and made the experience less intimidating. Almost was a -1 star I was days away from opening my new business doors when I realized I needed to touch some paint up on the walls, so I took my paint in for a color match (seems easy enough right?!) well I patched up the spots I needed and left for the night. Came back the next evening to prepare to open next day when hell broke loose!! The paint was a complete different color!!!!!!!! Omg a disaster!!!! See photos below!! The young lady who helped me with my fridge (2 days of help) was so friendly and helpful. I went on two different days and she helped me both times. She helped me measure and explained things about the fridge I was looking at, and compared. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I answered, yes it is because I bought it at Home Depot on Euclid. When it was my turn to get helped, she was the one to call me, and I asked her why would you look at me from the line and say that. She stated that Lowe's has the blue handles , that Home Depot carries different color.
