Very disappointed in their window blind quality. Over the last few months, we have had to replace 5 window blinds, because the previous ones all broke anytime you lowered or raised the blinds. We though that maybe they were just old (they were here when we moved in, and we have been here for 4 years) so we replaced them each time on broke. Every single on of the new ones cracked within a month of purchase, and that is ridiculous!! I didn't get shots of the first ones that cracked, but I finally started taking photos, because to have them break just through normal use, is unacceptable. We live in a rental, so we don't bother our landlord with replacing them every time one cracks, we just buy a new set. The last two blinds that we bought in March of this year 2026, are already broken! I have posted the pictures. These blinds are brittle, and someone needs to either do something about this, or stop selling these blinds!! Thank you! read more

The service here in the paint section is unbearable. I'm painting my parking spot at school and had to run and grab more since I ran out. Two ladies are running the paint section. One knows what she's doing, the other one does NOT. Although they have a wide selection of colors, the one lady has taken 30 mins to even find the paint to mix up the colors. We walked around the whole store before we came back to the counter and she is still searching for the paint. Maybe she's new, but oh my gosh. I asked for a gallon of exterior water based paint and a quart of the same exterior water based paint and she almost gave us a gallon for each. My stepdad called her out before she mixed them up. read more

I actually found a Home Depot I hadn't been to yet when we met our contractor here to select materials to do some repairs on a rental property. It was pretty much like other Home Depot locations we've visited previously except that the day we were there the parking lot was mostly roped off as they were having it resurfaced so I had to park outside of the parking lot and take a hike to meet up at the entrance. Once inside we got a large cart and went about finding what we needed to get the repairs done. Layouts are similar enough from one store to another that if you are organized and have decent shopping list, you can actually get in, pick out what you need, and get out in a reasonable amount of time. People we dealt with while finding things and checking out were helpful and professional. read more

I was very disappointed the last trip i took to this store. Normally when i take the extra time to go farther to this store i am pleased with the state of the store. The last time there was a large sign that said masks were required. The staff had masks (great), but most customers did not. I told the cashier that i felt bad for her, and she said she already had it...then said you can't enforce it anyway, citing medical reasons, and people who carry guns can't wear masks!? I think police carry guns and wear masks...anyway, i work at a restaurant and we enforce it. If someone doesn't have one, we offer them one. What does this tell me...this home depot likes money more than anyone's health! I will not go back...EVER! this is real people...one look at the numbers will tell you...come on warren home depot get it together... read more

I don't typically review big box stores, but I had to share this one star experience. Long story short, I just moved into a new house and it's time for a new lawn mower. I found the one that I wanted and checked to make sure that it was in stock at the store, and it was; in fact, there were 4. I ran up to the first store to find that they didn't have any stock of the model that I wanted and I couldn't find a single person in to assist me, so I checked the Warren store and there were 10 in stock. So, I go down to the Warren store and again, I don't find what I'm looking for. The website still says that there are 10 in stock... I eventually found what I was looking for, but the mower was setup in a display between the lawnmowers and trimmers, so I had to search the department for someone that could help me, and when I asked this women to help get me my mower she asked "If you want a mower, why don't you just go pick it up?". Once she saw the pyramid of lawnmower boxes, she understood and had to hunt for someone to help her get it. The gentleman that helped didn't understand why I just couldn't tear down their display to grab the one that I wanted (it was on the very bottom and there were only two of the models that I wanted), and he reluctantly shimmied it out from under the rest of the boxes. I never did find out what happened to the other 8 mowers that were supposedly in stock. This is a typical trip to HD... No one ever wants to help and they always seem put out when asked for assistance, and most of the time, they're not even that knowledgeable. I really miss the days of neighborhood hardware stores. It's a shame that places like this are able to survive because they can undercut the little guy. read more

I Warren Home Depot use to be my favorite store. Not anymore. The last three experiences were awful. The help used to be wonderful, not anymore. You can't find anyone to help you. Today I went to buy 12 bags of mulch. It took 40 minutes to get help. last week I went to buy a piece of corner molding. Three employees were standing around talking. I asked where it was and they told me where to find it. After searching the entire aisle I found one strip. I asked if they could please cut it to 76 inches. The reply wasOUR MACHINE IS DOWM. I said you don't have a hand saw you can cut it with ( I'm 80 years old), made some comment about old ladies and reluctantly cut it. I will never go there again. I was so disappointed. This review has to deal with the at Home Services division of the store. We have had work done on our home through HD at Home Services on multiple occasions over the past 7 or so years. In total, we have spent nearly $30,000. We recently listed our home for sale and felt confident that we would receive an offer that was acceptable--all of our major projects were supposed to be under warranty. On inspection the buyer's inspector found some issues with the roof which had been completed in 2013-2014 by HD at Home Services. It was a complete tear off so we didn't think we needed to be worried. The report came back with some issues regarding flashing around our chimneys, soft sports on the roof, and some broken boards for the garage. We filed a claim with HD to have it taken care of so that we could move forward. The project manager, Ira, called and told us that most of that would not be covered by warranty. We found this odd being as the man had not even come out to look at the issues. After many complaints and angry phone calls with the company, a team was sent out to fix our issues. The contractor sent to us swore up and down that there were absolutely no spongy spots on our roof and that we should file a complaint against the original inspector. We though the issue was resolved; I even called our project manager to apologize for being rather nasty and unreasonable. We just had a final inspection completed by the buyers to ensure the roof was indeed fixed. Much to our surprise they still found spongy spots and even took video of the areas which was sent to us. Not only has HD at Home Services, the project manager, and the sub contractor lied to us, we now have video of the areas that exist. Again the project manager swears up and down that "most roofs have spongy spots" and "depending on the age of the house, that can be expected" while continuing to tell us that they did not replace any underlying wood structure at the time of the original install because it wasn't warranted. Not too sure how we go from there are no spongy spots the other inspector is lying, to all roofs have spongy spots, to it isn't covered because it wasn't replaced originally. To say we are furious and feel as though we have been lied to us an understatement. My advice: stay way from HD at Home Services and for sure stay away from Ira because, magically, nothing will ever be covered by warranty. We are also in the process of filing a Better Business Bureau complaint. read more

This is the worst Home Depot I have been to. We came in to rent a floor sander and the guy at the front just points to where the sanders are and disappears. Like we need help deciding which one to rent, and even if we didn't need you to decide, how are we supposed to rent it out? 3 stars because the old hag in the paint department needs an attitude adjustment. I don't know her name but she's working in the paint department has short brown hair and a bad ass attitude. I feel so sorry for all the other amazing and super friendly employees that have to work with her. Watched a couple go and ask a question to a young gentleman who was working and he was very nice and double checked with her about the finish of the paint. She became super condescending and talked to not only her coworker this way but also to the couple asking a question. My boyfriend then asked her a simple question and she again, talked to us like we were 5 year olds and took the paint cans out of the basket. So I grabbed them back from her said I got it I'll put them back then she tried to be actually helpful and say she would put them back for us, I assume because I wasn't gonna take her stupid attitude but I told her I would ask someone else and that's what I did. This Home Depot has been my "go-to" store for all my DIY shopping needs. It really has not failed me when I repainted my room, when I re-sanded and sealed the hardwood floors and when I redid the latrine. This store ALWAYS has helpful employees but does not seem to be enough of them since 2 or 3 customers seems to be waiting with or ahead of me whenever I need to ask questions. BUT when you DO get the attention of any of the floor associates, they are more than happy to answer questions and assist you any way they could. I will be doing some re-tiling and re-painting come spring and you can bet that I am yet again, going to THIS Home Depot. read more

The store has all the stuff you need. I just fine some workers don't know what they are selling and are confused about products. The guy who helped me buy my snow blower was extremely nice however he lacked knowledge of the material itself. My financing had an issue I had to come back the next day because the cashier ringed up a discount and told me 3 times "don't worry you will get 12 months financing" when I called the financing they told me no discount can be applied if I wanted special financing. So I called the homedepot card line again and not to my surprise I was told I had to go back to the store to get everything refunded and charged again. When I go to the store the lady was really nice. Then the guy she asked to help not sure was a manager but seemed very rude and forthcoming and instigating that I had asked for the discount. What an ass. I didn't ask for you to be rude to me after a worker from your store made the initial error which I had to come back to fix. They definitely need a lesson on how to treat customers. I don't need a nasty attitude. I can clearly take business else where. Make sure your workers know the financing rules. And most of all know the products being sold. That's how you get customers to buy more things. read more

Will never shop here again. Placed an online order. When it was delivered, only 1/2 of what I ordered was delivered, even though I paid for the whole order. Made a phone call to the 800 #, & was told I needed to talk to the store from which it was delivered. They were nice enough to connect me to the store. Lady there told me the other 1/2 of the order was coming from a different location & she would call me back. Of course I got no return call. Called again when I got home; nice young man put me on hold & left me there for 1/2 hour. He did come back on the line once to tell me he was trying to find someone to help me. Never did come back after that so I hung up. Now I have to go down to the store to get my money back. Horrible service & they just don't care about the customer. Special ordered a refrigerator from this store and bought the extra comprehensive warranty. The LED lights inside the fridge went out. You can't change them, they are built into the fridge, not like a light bulb. Called to have the warranty take care of it, and was told that lights inside of the fridge are accessories. So help me God I will never purchase anything from any home depot again. read more

Placed an online order for 6 items to be picked up curbside. Two of the items were even the exact same thing. Nice person brought my order to the car handed me my receipt, thanked me and headed back inside. Checked the bag with four of the items only to discover one of them was wrong, not even close. As in a roll of painters tape that should have been a 4" paint roller handle. Glanced at the two containers of stain that were not obviously not bagged with the other stuff. So now have to go inside, get the item mistake resolved very quickly and efficiently. Arrive home take everything out only to discover the second container of stain is a different color then the first which of course is the one who's label I spotted when I checked them. Considering I had already discovered one mistake in a 6 ITEM order perhaps I should have checked closer, like you have to check the fast food bag before pulling away from the drive thru window. But seriously, six items, two of them the exact same thing. Pitiful! read more

I need new gutters and noticed that Home Depot does gutter installation, so I scheduled a consultant to come out for an estimate. I waited 3 weeks for an appointment that would meet my boyfriend's sleep schedule because he works nights. The consultant was supposed to be here today at 2:30. I took off early from work, losing pay of course, and hurried home so I could be there. 2:30 rolls around. No consultant. I figured that's ok. They called yesterday to confirm my appointment, so he's probably just running a bit behind. 3:00, no consultant. I call Home Depot customer service and get through to a representative who switches me to the "gutter team." They can provide no explanation. They call the local consultant, get no answer and leave a voicemail. They call the supervisor and are told he'll call me back. It's now 8:57 PM. No consultant all day. No call from the consultant OR the supervisor. I basically waited 3 weeks to lose 2.5 hours of pay for no reason. Completely unacceptable customer service. They'll be lucky if I set foot in their store ever again. read more
