I visited the garden section and I was very surprised by the friendly staff, organized floors and wonderful variety of plants. I needed some potting mix for my plants and I was assisted by a female staff member, she was very professional and courteous. Let me clear everyone inside the facility was very nice and helpful. They were ready to help and were very knowledgeable. The parking lot area of the store is trashy. Every island is covered in garbage. There are an untold number of men that rushed my vehicle yelling over one another about working for the day. While, I can understand wanting to work, this is not the place to find a job. I donot use laborers, if I did, this would not be where I went looking for them. I understand it is not this establishments policy to allow these things, but in this day and age, they have no other choice. I do not feel safe leaving my vehicle in the parking lot unattended with all my tools and equipment on board. read more

Came here looking for a black marble threshold of 6-foot length but did not find one. I'm retiling the bathroom floors in black tile. I did find one at another store, not home depot but I bought the last one and need another one for the other bathroom, So my search continues. Employees here are very helpful as I did not know the name of these electrical rings that go into a metal box but this very nice lady helped me out. I guess I needed a 1900 box, a mud ring, and knockouts. Omg, my head is spinning. Who in the world names these things such silly names? Bought some tiles and discovered some of them are broken, hope I'm not in trouble since I bought the last of them and am doing bathrooms. Home Depot has a nice selection of inexpensive tiles. Recently, I walked in with my list for my rehab project and the service provided by Josephine, Mario, and Roger exceeded all my expectations--not only did they help me find every item on my list for my rehab project, but they also offered insightful recommendations that made the whole process seamless. Today I had trouble ordering an item online called the store. Ingrid, in Customer Service, offered to help. I apologized to her for all the time I was taking with my order, but she told me that it's my job as a Customer Service Representative. She was able to place the order for pick-up in the store which was tremendous since none of the stores close to me had the item in store. I cannot recommend this team highly enough! read more

I'll be very frank. I cannot stand Home Depot. I know Home Depot is the equivalent of Target for men, but I dread going to this department store. It's boring to shop here, and it's usually a hassle as well. However, I recently discovered that I LOVE the curbside pickup at Home Depot. I started to do some gardening this summer, so I needed mulch, soil, stones, etc., and I was not looking forward to having to go and find the right products. I heard that Home Depot had an app, and you can order curbside pickup. I was suspicious the curbside would be less than satisfactory, but I was gravely wrong! I really wish I could remember the name of the woman who helped complete my order. Regardless, I pulled into the parking spot, checked in, and waited. Within two minutes, she loaded all the materials into the back of my car. She informed me that Home Depot was in the process of deciding on whether or not to keep the curbside pickup because it is utilized sparingly. GUYS, please do not discontinue this beautiful, convenient shopping option! This is the only way I can see myself continuing to purchase products from this store. read more

I like Home Depot. I have for years. But this year, I'm especially liking this store. I happened to be listening to the radio and an ad came on for Home Depot. In it they said that they were going to have their "Black Friday" deals starting now and going through Christmas. It would be spread out over the entire season rather than just being limited to one day. I really liked the sound of that, because I am not going near any store on Black Friday. I'm getting ready to put the lights on the house (not actually today, but pretty soon), and I realized that I need a step ladder. This is not a new revelation, as I've lived in this house for over three years now. But this year, I really want to finally get one. But I hate the price of step ladders. I rarely use it, so why should I spend $80 on something that will spend 99.9% of its time sitting against a wall? I went online and I found a 6-foot step ladder at Home Depot that normally retails for $69 on sale for $39. Oh, now that makes a difference. And I had an appointment that evening in Hollywood, very close to where this Home Depot is. I went. First, I liked how cheery the store is. When I walked in they have all the holiday wares at the front, so you walk into Christmas. That always makes me happy. And the aisles are well-marked, so I found the ladders very quickly. I also noticed that they had quite a few of the one I wanted, I guess in anticipation of the demand. But the shelf tag still shows the old price. I pulled out my cell phone, opened the Home Depot app and scanned the bar code and was very happy to see that it was, in fact, selling for $39 (I think it was actually $39.88 but whatever, it was under $40). Okay with the tax it was over $40, but that's the state not Home Depot. Everything on this trip went fine. At the register (I used the self-checkout), I was asked if I needed help. I told her I was fine, but I did appreciate that she at least asked. My experience here was as it should be. I had a pleasant shopping trip and I now have a ladder so I don't have to use a dining room chair out in the front yard to try to fasten the lights to the roof. read more

The worst Home Depot I've ever been to. Nobody wants to help anyone here the employees are rude to the customers cursing amongst each other and walking around on their phones not their tables their phones. I've approached multiple mangers with poor attitudes towards I tried to get their names but couldn't see their name tags this place is a mess. The Customer Service Representative, Ingrid, was very friendly, incredibly courteous and amazingly helpful. I found the items that I needed. But the items had been sitting on the shelves for quite some time and were covered in dust. I took the items to the front to checkout. Ingrid made herself immediately available for my purchases. Once Ingrid saw how dirty the items were, without hesitation, she started cleaning the items. She promptly rang up my items, bagged them, handed me the receipt and had me on my way. My new favorite home depot. First thing that should be mentioned is that I didn't have to play home depot hide and go seek. You know, where you have to try to hunt down someone to help you. I was trying to find some casters, when I turned around there was actually someone working in the area and he was happy to help. Shocking right? The store is pretty big, and is very clean. In all honesty, I tend to forget this Home Depot is here although it's been around forever. Nevertheless... I go in for garden supplies, bug spray, and household supplies and can usually find what I want pretty easily. However, it really isn't a pleasurable experience if you need assistance with anything. It's very hard to get someones attention, when you do you're lucky if they know where it is, and the overall customer service is lacking. I suspect if I was buying lumber or something of the sort I'd have more luck. All the same, it is what it is. Sooo I went to this home depot because it's close to my mom house. I'm redoing the bathroom and she ordered some supplies from them. I went to go pick up the supplies on Saturday but they gave me the wrong bathtub. She called and told them about it and the manager was quick to rectify the situation. Went back to pickup a free rental truck per manager and I was helped without questions. Luckily they had the right tub in stock..great job depot!! I went into pick up two 27 gallon plastic totes and putty to fix a wall. I stop by the paint section to maybe get some advice on what to use. I ask the older man that was in the paint section for advice. He yelled at me that he was helping another customer and turn his back to me. I was shocked but there was no other person in eye view. I proceeded to walk away and stopped another associate moving a stair ladder who also bushed me off and told me I would have to wait for the other guy to be done. As soon as I turn around the same older guy was helping out someone right after he told me he was busy. I assume it was a person that he was doing the paint for but the person he was doing the paint for came up afterwards. I don't know if it has anything to do with my race or his disposition. Afterward he got up in my face to start yelling he didn't care who I was or what I represented. It seemed as if he wanted to fight me. I left never getting the supplies I needed. I had to call another store to complain because according to the customer service sale associate the manager was not in the store. I don't usually do reviews but I went to the Prodesk the other day and a young lady by the name of Angie was so very kind, knowledgeable and fast . I came in with a paper written of what to buy but really didn't have no idea of the person I hired put by her just reading the items; she knew exactly what I was getting done . She also set me up with a pro account for I could gain rewards , keep track of my purchase and best part - i don't have to come into the store instead the guys could make a phone-sale and I could give the information by the phone and have a detail description of what they may be purchasing . Wish every HomeDepot had the attention she had with me and others . This young lady has Great potential of one day being a manager!!!! She has my business for sure . read more
