I have been eyeing this store up for awhile, but I wanted to educated myself a little more before walking in and asking about their products. The owner, Joselyn and her Assistant were there to answer my questions and they gave me the background information on "Koi Naturals", the manufacturer of the CBD products they sell. They also explained to me that this company is very thorough with maintaining efficacy of the product, and they could provide me with recent studies that they had performed. The professionalism of not only the manufacturer, but also Joselyn and her Assistant, along with their personal experiences with these products, gave me the confidence and reassurance to give "Koi Naturals" a try! Joselyn did her best to guide me with regard to strength of product to try. I'm a complete newbie with CBD products, and we are all so individual with how we tolerate such products. I have friends that use 1000mg twice a day, so I chose to try the 500mg with the understanding that I can always increase the dose. They really push their own product and I'm not sure why the other is there. I believe both were organic. You can buy their oil with flavoring added to make the product more palatable. What they don't tell you is there is an extra charge to get the flavored variety and they push that as well. Honestly, I did not care for the flavoring. I did not seem to be getting any relief from the product so I went back in, discussed with another employee what I was experiencing and they recommended I try a stronger version. This time I got it without the flavoring and it was preferable to me. It tastes just like any oil, and you use a small amount. With the original 'lower dose' version, I was experiencing an increase in symptoms and thought it was just that the situation was getting worse. With the second 'higher dose' version my symptoms went nuts and I stopped taking the product. The symptoms quickly returned to pre-CBD levels. This was a huge relief after weeks of taking the product. For me this product did not have the desired effect. I can't say if it was this product or CBD in general. This is just my experience. I have not tried another brand. I'll stick with meditation and yoga for now.
