Gladys was recommended by my estate sale person. 3000 sqft home . My mom was a smoker and apparently cooked a lot of greasy food. Gladys and her crew put it a 12 hr day, she knew the carpet cleaner was scheduled for the next day. This house sparkles now. There is ALOT of wood doors and cabinets, they are all beautiful now. They come to your home for a walkthrough and give you a quote so you know what you are paying for. They can communicate directly with you about what you want done. Great start with Gladys. She is very personable and a great sales Person. Unfortunately, the charm rubs off when the oversold job becomes evident. The job is a rush to the clock and off to the next job. Deep clean isn't that deep when you check the work. Sadly the hard workers are pushed to get the job done fast and move to the next. I scheduled an appointment for Sonia to come over for a quote and gave her my address. She no call-no showed that day. When I called her to find out what was going on, she gave me a sob-story excuse and rescheduled for the next day. That day, she texted me and told me she was on her way. 30 minutes later, she texted and cancelled because my address was too far. That was 5 days after I scheduled and gave her my address. She left me hanging, and stood me up, only to cancel for reasons that she should've figured out immediately. Very unreliable and pathetic business. She should be ashamed of herself. We recently moved to Alpine and had our entire home remodeled and the house was FILTHY! I was in need of a crew who could come out and deep clean my entire house. I read the reviews for this company on Yelp and decided to give them a call. I spoke with Sonia and she was very pleasant and understanding to my needs. She asked if she could come out and look at the house to give me a quote. The same day she showed up and looked at the house and assessed the mess :) I asked her if she could clean immediately and she recommended I don't have the house deep cleaned until all the workers were out even though the contractor who was doing my remodel told her to come anyway. That is one thing I really appreciated about Sonia, she had my best interest in mind and not her own. She could've easily came out and cleaned while the workers were finishing up and then came out again after they left but instead she recommended I wait and not waste my money. Once the workers told me they would be done in 3 days i called Sonia again and she came out and assessed the house again to make sure she planned to bring enough supplies and ladies with her. The day of the cleaning she and her crew showed up on time and got to work. They cleaned the heck out of my house and didn't just surface clean, they DEEP CLEANED EVERYTHING; just look at the pictures! Wow!!!! for the Housekeepers of Alpine. I found their flyer at a local business and decided to give them a try. From the start, I was SO impressed with the professional way this business is run. Sonia came out to do an assessment on our home of what needed to be done and then gave me a quote, which was VERY reasonable. The ladies showed up at their scheduled time and got to work. They were there all day long and worked very hard to clean my dirty little house (I live with three very hairy dogs right next to the freeway). So I have been using Housekeepers of Alpine for 2 months now. Their service was great the first couple times. The issue is they are bad at their scheduling - I travel a lot so I schedule the house cleaning in advance and it is based on my trips (when I will be arriving home). The third service appointment they did not have it scheduled. I sent them a note to remind them, the response was along the lines that they were busy and did not have me on the schedule. I was not happy and they ended up "fitting me in". This "fitting me in" showed in the difference of how clean my house was as compared to the first 2 services. So now on to appointment #4 - again scheduled in advance and they were suppose to clean my house on May 21st as I was returning home after being away 2+ weeks on the 22nd. They were a no show and as of today (May 22nd) after several unreturned phone messages and text messages - I guess they have decided my money is not worth their business. I am in process of trying to find a new service - anyone who has recommendations for the Alpine area I am open. read more
