Despite that, they scheduled one for the very next day without my knowledge or consent. When I canceled the appointment I had never agreed to, they charged me another $60 and have refused to refund it. Charging a customer for an appointment the company created without authorization is completely unacceptable. I lost $60, but they lost a customer because their actions made it clear that they do not value their customers or conduct business fairly. I would not recommend this company.

Upon completion of the cleaning, we were told that if our apartment complex charged us additional fees for cleaning Lyly's would provide compensation. 23 days later, I was notified by the apartment complex that we were being charged an additional $200 for cleaning fees. I contacted Lyly's expecting that it wouldn't be an issue...instead I was told that the timeline was too far out and that I would need to take it up with my landlord. Although they apologized for the situation, it didn't make sense to me that there would be a timeline for when we could file for compensation. The quality of the service was good; the outcome did not sit well with me. Overall I would not necessarily suggest this company just based on the lack of ethics displayed.

It was such a relief walking into such a fresh, tidy space. That being said, there were a few small things that could be improved. For whatever reason, I felt like she was very rushed. The trash was left right outside the apartment without a new bag in the bin, and the dishwasher wasn't started -- small touches I've had with other cleaners in the past that make a nice difference. I had also paid for organization, originally planning to do the guest room and kitchen, but when she arrived I decided to just do the kitchen. The charge stayed the same, which I wish had reflected the smaller scope. Overall, Rachel's cleaning skills are truly excellent, and she's a joy to work with. No one arrived at 8:00 AM despite the 7:00 AM reminder from them as well as an appointment in their system, and attempts to call/email went unanswered at first When I checked their system 30 minutes later, the appointment disappeared from their system. The company said it was canceled because I didn't "confirm" in their scheduling system--a requirement that wasn't clearly communicated beforehand. As a result, I traveled over two hours for nothing, lost wages because I could have worked today, wasted 13 and a half hours (4:45 AM-6:15 PM) driving and waiting for a response, and spent about $70 in fuel round trip. The owner apologized for a "misunderstanding," but even as of 6:15 PM today, I have received no further response. This is very unprofessional--especially given the impact on an elderly person's home and a time-sensitive schedule, as well as the clear lack of respect for others' time. ZERO STARS
