A LOT disappointed in the management of this establishment. We frequent this restaurant a lot since it's so close, especially on Thursday for music bingo. It's a fight already to get a table since everyone stays for music bingo from 7-10. We've been told several times no reservations but today they held a table for a "large party" so I guess the rules only apply to some people. read more

I have been waiting for the "newest" of this restaurant to die down but before attempting to test them out. I was pleasantly surprised that there was no wait when we went the other night. The atmosphere is like a pub and grill type of environment. The booths were quite large probably could sit 8-10 per booth. Outside patio also had good amount of seating. The server was so kind and helpful. I really appreciated her input when needing help to make my selections. I could tell they are still working out the kinks so be prepared for that. I ordered the chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries. This is not on the dinner menu but the server let me know they are revising the dinner menu to include the sandwiches. The reason for a star being removed was the taste of the chicken sandwich. I'm not sure if I just got a bad one or what but it was so bland I couldn't eat it. I asked for mayo and they handed me a bottle of it ...would of much preferred a nice little side of mayo than handing over a warm bottle of mayo... but I'm glad they did because the mayo was expired. After that I didn't want to eat any more. Munched on a couple of the tots and left feeling unfulfilled. Maybe I'll try it in the future after things get worked out. read more

I so badly want to love this place! But everytime you give them a chance they just can't do it. I will say the food service speed has really improved and the food is good. However, it is frustrating that the food order accuracy is not a focus here. Then when being charged for up charges that are forgotten your tip is based on the price before they take off your forgotten item and that's just not right! They are trying to get tipped on a lie. Service is also slow. Nice, but slow and they don't seem to have their priorities straight. The food was tasty and it usually is a good 6 months before we come back here because we are usually disappointed and I have to say that is still the case sadly. read more

Tried it because i live nearby, it was interesting. First my mom asked if she could have coffee abs the response to that was "it's Folgers if you consider that coffee" then i asked what cheese was on the queso and i read told it was "standard" queso cheeses which isn't a thing after i explained i couldn't have cheddar (which is American so imo wouldn't be "standard" in queso which is Mexican.) They did go ask someone and loo and behold it did indeed have cheddar. I didn't really feel comfortable asking any further questions so I ordered the burger special. It was a good basic burger enough that i would go try something else eventually, maybe. The service was slow as it's stated in other reviews the place was nearly empty and it took quite awhile to get our food. The highlight was defintely the housemade potato chips which were excellent. The staff is allowed to show their personality and the store varied wildly from a kilt, to daisy dukes to jeans, so that was interesting. Solid Meh. Slow service, mediocre food. When we were told their Mac and cheese is "Kraft-the deluxe box" my hubby said it best: it's like getting frozen food you can air fry at home only at three times the cost and surrounded by screaming toddlers. Very very slow, apathetic service. And they don't listen to minor mods like "no pickles on the burger" or "mayo on side." Also the burgers have some weird smoky spice on the meat itself which makes it taste odd. The wings are meh - rubbery layer of fat (maybe frozen?) and the dressings are runny. It was busy at the bar and we first sat by the open doors. It was a little chilly so ended up in a high top towards the back of the bar. Service was kinda slow but not a big deal. I really wanted to love this place since it's so close to my house, but it is just extremely over priced for the value. It was $94 after tip on a Tuesday for 2 adults (1 beer) and 2 kids that shared a meal. I will also say that we spent a separate $13 (with tip) on one 22oz beer while we waited for the table. Started off with the chips and French onion dip that was nothing special. Ordered the wings with fries, burger with mac and cheese (up charge), kids cheese/no meat quesadilla with fries (up charge) and nothing was super delicious. We left very disappointed after struggling to find a parking space in the madness (dance studio, karate gym, salon, pizza place, etc.). Quite a nice change from the old Parrish restaurant. I like the newly decorated interior of the restaurant. Had the chef salad today being my first time in and it was nicely prepared, cold and fresh! Only thing was the ranch dressing was a bit on the light thin side and could be thicker! Server Sarah was fantastic and kept our drinks full. Will we be back....probably and will try something different next time. Ok, slight edit; upon reviewing our bill I noticed there were extra charges for dressing and cheese. Rude staff. From the second we walked in the door. Nobody greeted us noone even acknowledged we were even there. Sign says seat yourself, we asked one of the employees about how long of a wait it would be as there was no tables available. He just pointed at the sign and left. Hoping that changes with time but one day your burger will be seasoned, the next it's not and the burger does not come with ketchup etc. one day you'll order meatballs and it will come with garlic bread, the next it will be plain bread and the next there will be no bread. Stopped in yesterday for happy hour. It was busy. The person who welcomed us in handed us off to a server who put our order in. He forgot the kids meal which we put in first for our 2 year old. No worries as the meatball and pretzel apps were good. A young lady who looked like a support staff ended up getting refills and delivering food, checking back. In her defense it didn't seem like the front of the house was her strength. When she delivered our trash can nachos, the guac fell off the pile of nachos and directly onto the table. She quickly scooped up the guac off the table and put it back onto the nachos! Bare hands! Off the table with her hand and said "don't worry my hands are clean." Again, she probably wasn't the one responsible for running food and basically serving us at all, but omg. We were shocked. How gross! Not to mention that we brushed off chip bits after we were sat and the floor beneath the table needed to be swept. Secondly, we were at a table that was close to the kitchen and from my vantage point I could see the drink station and part of the kitchen. I observed three guests walk into the kitchen and out of sight. They then reappeared with a cook and were sampling food. Not sure that having guests in the kitchen is normal or not but it felt pretty unsanitary and strange. In conclusion, I'm left wondering what else goes on that guests can't see...yuck read more

This is damn good. Real food if that makes sense. Like you tried to make it at home, expect it's actually perfect how it should be. The burger was badass. Like smash burger but better bun and toppings and the meat is perfect and same with the chicken tenders, they're actually breaded and made legit never had any others like it and they're perfect. First time visiting and first review I've ever made, unfortunately a bad one. The service was not good. The server with tattoos and mullet Mohawk looking hair was immediately disrespectful, not welcoming at all and had rude comments from the start for no rhyme or reason whatsoever. I understand that there can be bad days for anyone, I tried giving him the benefit of the doubt but he was unreasonably rude from the moment we sat down. My advice is for him to find a job that he can maybe enjoy instead of hating his job from the looks of it. We moved to the bar and the bartender lady was nice until my brother asked how it was working there and with that server, her response was he was fine and "I get it, you guys just want to make up stories about people just for fun" when nothing was said other than him asking how it was to work with him... read more

The food was delicious! The service was speedy. Love the ambiance! We loved having a restaurant in the neighborhood back when Parish's opened up. It was a family owned establishment and we loved that. When they shut down it was sad. We felt bad for their family. Now it is Arizona Rebel Republic and we were happy with it. The only two things I recommend is that your manager not tell people that we won't get "food poisoning like Parrish's". It's unprofessional to speak of them in that manner AND no one wants to hear those two words before ordering food. My other observation is the staff is stressed out and unhappy. They need to smile. No matter what. It goes a long way with customers that are happy to be spending their money there. They just were not very personable.
