Tried The Hub this last Saturday and what a great experience! Waitress was on point got our drinks quickly and asked if we had any questions about the menu and if we had been here before. We informed her we had not and our first time. She took our order and shortly after the manager showed up with an appetizer of cheese bread and olive oil dip saying she was told our fist visit and wanted to welcome us with a complimentary app. My wife ordered fish and chips I ordered a Chicken sandwich (The Yardbird) Both were delicious. Checked out the Hub a few weeks back with some friends. I saw their pulled pork, grilled jalapeños and roasted green chiles Mac & Cheese and couldn't wait to taste it! This is a great place to catch a game with a group, large or small. Lots of TV's in viewing distance anywhere you sit. The staff were great and super friendly and attentive. The Mac & Cheese was outstanding! We ordered the cheesy mashed potato balls and they were great as well. Cool spot! The moment we walked in I could not help but noticing, I had never been in a joint with so many television screens, and boy it was loud. Not only was the background music loud, but it was also extremely tinny, as if they'd foregone the tonal quality amplification and speaker system for more TVs! The selection of music though was very, very good! The din here though is so much, you have to speak very loudly so the person across the table from you can hear! The place is huge, with a huge bar area, a separate huge seating area away from the crowds, but everywhere you go in this salon, its loud. As for the food. I came to realize fairly quickly why the Hub's reviews are pretty much below 4.0! Outside of my Firestone Walker 805 Blonde Ale being ice cold, my party of 2 and I were sincerely not impressed with the eats. The Cod Fish & Chips had a thick 'dark' layer of panko crust with almost no seasoning. The fries and coleslaw, along with the Hub toast were okay. The B.L.A.T. Sammich with lettuce, bacon, tomato and avocado with mayo on toasted bread was fair. And my Steak Stroganoff supposedly prepared with herb roasted mushrooms and onions on the egg noodles in sour cream sauce was very, very bland. I am sure the inventor in 19th-century Russia, chef Charles Brière would not make heads or tails of it. Overall, the Hub is not a bad joint if you're in the mood for a boisterous and raucous time, many TVs to see a game, plenty of beer and booze selections, pretty good customer service, but food is should not be your main objective. read more

When we walked in, they had a gluten free menu that was huge! I ordered the GF fried chicken bowl (I forget the actual name) and my parent both got the gluten free fish and chips. We have been here several times as they have really good burgers! I'm vegetarian and they allow you to get any burger with a beyond patty. I love when businesses do that! My normal go to is their PB&J burger with a beyond patty...and I take off the bacon. It winds up being kind of plain but it's really good with the creamy PB and the jam they use. Sometimes I'll add avocado in place of the bacon, which sounds odd...avocado and PBJ...but it's a nice combo, surprisingly. Don't knock it until you try it, I guess. Our most recent visit here was August 8, 2025 and this time I ordered the devil burger on a jalapeño cheese bun, substituted the beef patty for a beyond patty and asked them to hold the bacon and tomato. I opted for fries as my side. The first burger that came out was missing the pepper jack cheese, jalapeños, and the spicy mayo. The server was kind enough to re-ring it in for me (which means I got a double order of fries) and they also took 50% off! Now that's great service! The burger was awesome! If you like spicy, this is definitely the way to go. The grilled jalapeños are next level and the pepper jack and spicy mayo really compliment this and the bun was super flavorful. The fries were also really good and since I've been dieting, they were a nice treat on my "cheat" day. Our server was saddled with a bunch of tables...I think I counted 7 or 8 and two of them were 8-tops. Props to her for keeping it all together but we had to wait a little while for our tab to come. This was my first time at the The Hub. The staff welcomed me in. The general manager brought me a complimentary appetizer as a "first timer!" The food truly was delicious...fresh ingredients, fun combinations of flavors, and a wide variety of options. They have a new fall menu with some great options. I was passing through Mesa today and needed a lil break before the rush hour journey to the west side, and I picked the perfect spot. Clean Bathroom, "System of a Down"playing, the bartenders were friendly and made my Irish coffee the way I make it at home which is a rarity. They had nice outside sitting but it was a lil chilly. Games. No pool table though it had that type of vibe but not divey.... I imagine it gets busy, this place kinda big. Such a good find. Came here on a Saturday for lunch with the family. One thing I found awesome was that for kids they give them these tablets that you draw on and erase. At the end you turn them in for a price from the treasure box. Genius! Our host and server were kind and friendly. They took our order answered questions and kept checking often on our table. The food was delish! Loved the nachos, the sandwich was so good too! The portions are friendly well enough to have leftovers. I will say their burgers are legit burgers. So good! Celebrating a birthday at The Hub. The wings were excellent. A couple things kept me from giving this restaurant a five star review. First I think the prices are a bit high for bar food. Our bill for four adults and two children was $145. Secondly, if you have anyone in your group that has difficulty hearing, this is not a good choice. It is very loud. Arizona smoked wings were great,cobb salad with chicken breast was good,the special chicken breast sandwich was huge and good and we finished it off with the cookie which was really good. Now the bad are server was worth one star we couldn't ever see her had to wait a long time to order. We asked for a couple of more refills and it took about 10 minutes to get them and had to remind twice. I'm not sure what she was doing because It wasn't as if she was helping other people because we'd never seen her on the floor and she was supposed to bring us a bag to put our leftovers in and waited over five minutes she never came out. .
