We lived there for one year. There were multiple instances of us getting the rent in, but receiving a printed notice 6 days later that rent needed to be paid. It was printed first then hand signed two days after it was printed. We moved out March 6th. Beforehand, we gave notice that was the move date and asked if it was acceptable that we move out on that day. I was given an envelope to write our forwarding address, the apartment we're vacating, the date and time. I put the 2 mailbox keys, apartment keys, and the gym key in the overnight mail slot just after 9 pm that night. Now a few weeks later, we got a notice from Craig Ranch Villas charging us for not giving adequate notice (a lie), not receiving the keys (another lie), cleaning fee (there are only two rooms with carpet and we cleaned and vacuumed). We forgot to give back 2 of the parking passes and we spoke to management about returning them and to revise the invoice. They just said they wouldn't do it. The rental amounts might sound nice, but the complex is really filthy, the staff doesn't seem to actually care about the tenants as well had an issue with someone trying to get into our apartment late one night and they didn't have any idea what we were talking about even after calling the security service tasked with this complex.

The walls are SOOOO thin! And when your in the bathroom you hear everything through the vents! YOU JUST HEAR EVERYTHING, TOILET FLUSHING, WATER RUNNING... The rent is a little high given the fact they cut corners with everything, they went cheap! Other apartments in the area are cheaper with better appliances and even have colors on the walls, not here! I've been here a year and the two appliances are already breaking...the cheap vinyl they got for the floor is peeling/rising up, on an area that is right next to the wall, not even a traffic area.... The one bedroom is basically a studio apartment with a door to your bedroom. When you first walk in... boom, Everything is there, no extra spaces, no hallway,no extra walls.. nothing just a studio area.. so you pay 1,500 PLUS UTILITIES for a big studio!! Also given the area I don't understand why rent is so high, look up the crime rate for this area, the amount of times I've had to get on the floor due to gun shots...

To be quite honest, I really loved these apartments when I first took a tour! Rooms were big and…read moreroommate style, I was told that the pool and gym is opened 24 hours. And there was a deal with our apartment so of course we took it! But once we actually got into our apartment it was a lot of things wrong. I told them about everything which they fixed certain things but not the nitty gritty issues. I'll start off with the small stuff, microwave was broken and it took 4 phone calls to have them come fix it. The stove did not work properly, it would get too hot on the lowest setting causing my fire alarm to go off, it took them two months to actually listen to me and fix it because their maintenance team swore up and down that it was working properly! The refrigerator was getting wayyy too cold no matter what setting it was on, causing my food and drinks to freeze. I wasted a carton of eggs because they were frozen and wouldn't properly cook even after thawing them out. Now to the disgusting part of it all, the freezer had big eggs in it. Yes, eggs that come from a bug.. I do not know what kind of bug but the freezer was infested in it. The refrigerator had flies, ants, and nats inside of it. I complained but was told there wasn't much they could do, but due to me being homeless before I came here I had to suck it up and clean it out myself. The entire apartment was dirty and disgusting I had to get the carpet shampooed, and I had to do an entire deep cleaning prior to us brining out stuff in because it was just that dirty! The front office knew of everything but they couldn't do much and like I said after being homeless I had no room to really complain and get upset but due to the fact my car was stolen and the apartment won't do anything about it because it was stolen by them I might as well just write an honest review. After cleaning up my apartment it turned out nice so I can't complain about that. But I was lied to about the pool, I was told that the pool and gym was 24 hours just for me to move in and the apartment opens at 8am and closes at 10pm. I'm a night person which I told the leasing agent that so I explained how great it was that the pool was open 24 hours just to find out she lied. And the manager is completely a liar and terribly heartless. I thought this would be a great place to recommend for my friends but at this point it's not looking too great. From the beginning of my lease it wasn't too great but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Jessica and Brandy are extremely nice and caring when it came down to my situation but the manager? Terrible truly, he does not deserve to be in the position of higher power because obviously it has gotten to his head. It's sad because I really enjoyed the roommate style set up but it's just not good at all.... It's me and my roommate and they don't wanna give us two parking passes & two keyfobs cause it's "one per household" . Completely saddened by how things turned out. Shameful!

It is a gated community that locks the gates after 5 pm on weekdays and fully on Sundays when their leasing office is closed. The management is on top of things, for example when I had an issue with my air conditioner, Adeymis, at the front office quickly sent repair and the issue was resolved within 30 minutes. Everyone has their own parking space and you can also opt in to rent a private garage for $200/month. However one downside is when having guests over there's barely any spots for your your guest to park. Management hosts monthly and sometimes weekly events arranging from bagels, food trucks, etc. In terms of amenities, there's a small-ish pool. The gym is clean and pretty much always empty. Bailey the head manager makes sure everything is tidy and the residents are taken care of. Location wise: you're right off of the 95 north with the Santa Fe hotel and theater across the street walking distance. The Santa Fe has its own food court and discounted bowling on certain days. There's a shopping center a 3 min drive away with a few really good food places and an Albertsons for groceries.

Hi Tides on Commerce! Leaving a review here because,…read moreapparently, it's the only functioning form of communication in this entire complex. You know, since there's no emergency line, no voicemail, no tenant portal, and absolutely zero way to reach anyone when something catastrophic happens. So here we are, Friday night, and the entire complex has no water. Not a single building. Not a single unit. Bone dry. I actually called earlier today when the water pressure dropped to "wishing and praying" levels, and I was told you were working on it and we'd have water. Cute! Because now, after coming home from the gym, sweaty and full of trust, I was greeted with... absolutely no water. Nada. Not just me; neighbors to the left, right, upstairs, downstairs, across the entire property: all dry as a bone. So, real question: will you be back tomorrow morning to address this? Or is this a "see you Monday at 9am while your tenants ferment" type of situation? Will the entire community go unshowered all weekend long? Only time, and my increasingly pungent armpits, will tell. What makes this even more chef's kiss is the total lack of communication. No notice, no heads up, just false reassurance. It's giving "gaslight," not "customer service." In conclusion: this is absolutely asinine. I've lived in some questionable places before, but never have I had to review my own apartment complex just to beg for running water. If you're considering moving here: don't. Run. Sprint. Teleport away. Honestly, a cardboard box by the front gate might offer a more reliable living situation. At least you'd know where you stand.
