To whom it may concern, I just visited this location and after the barista couldn't understand our 2 orders we expressed we could just go somewhere else and we were assured they could make them. 20 mins later is not more we left explaining they were still not good or correct and the best I got was "god bless and have a good day" to me this is ungodly horrible customer service. A location of Human beans opened just blocks from me in Spokane and if this is what I can expect I will make sure to not visit. Spending $5 on a coffee to not be correct or drinkable is a giant disappointment. Lilly & Zara need to be trained in my opinion on service and quality! read more

Waited in line for pretty long for a mocha latte hot. I ordered the drink and they give it to me in under 30 seconds as if the drink was premade like it had been handed back or something. Then as I'm driving away, I go to take the first drink, and I realize the drink is ice cold a hot mocha was nowhere near even warm. So they obviously gave me a drink that was handed back by someone. read more

The owner hires extremely well. The baristas are very friendly and fun to talk to. The problem is the baristas are not trained - or they are not trained properly - on creating good espresso drinks. (This goes for both locations.) The drinks they serve are blistering hot. A good latte or other espresso drink should be heated to around 160 degrees. At the Human Bean they serve the drinks somewhere much closer to 200 degrees. (I just checked the temperature of my drink, a mocha, and 30 minutes after leaving the stand, the temperature of my drink is 126 degrees in a paper cup.) read more

Ordered Java chip granita, and a bagel sandwich. The granita tasted like watered down sugar free chocolate syrup. The bagel sandwich was hard to eat. Most bites hardly had any egg or cheese. Should have got Starbucks. read more

I don't know why it took me so long to try this place. I got a java chip coffee with almond milk. It was one of the best coffees I've had in forever! The human bean is really the best coffee shop and amongst all other coffee shops in town this one is more unique, with there accent of chocolate covered coffee beans on top of their drinks. Along with this amazing place comes with beautiful and nice people that work there, Human Beans specialty baristas. I have nothing negative to say about this place. I'm generally very picky about my coffee and I'm pretty skeptical when it comes to little coffee joints and their high prices, but across the board I absolutely ADORED the Human Bean. They made probably the best granita I've ever had (caramel hazelnut), the baristas were quick and cheerful, I got my coffee FAST (I mean way faster than I could make it at home) and as an added bonus, the plastic bottles they use are biodegradable, which I think is pretty rad. I can't wait to swing by there again next shopping day! read more

I'm hoping the owner of this stand reads this and takes a second look at the staff. I've been here plenty of times, but will not be back. Usually when someone uses a quick coffee stand, they'd like to not wait unnecessarily. I pulled up behind one car (I was next in line) that was already sitting there. Within 1 minute of pulling up, the guys drink was handed to him and the barista looked right at me as she handed him his drink. Then the two of them sat there flirting for the next 8 mins. I wasn't completely sure more drinks weren't being made, so I waited. At the point where no more drinks were handed out the window and the guy started to drive away, that's when I decided to just leave. You don't deserve my money or tips if you don't understand customer service and don't get that you are always being watched. I truly hope this review reaches a lot of people and you see a dip in business. Flirt on your own time. read more

It's ok. Not as good as CK Coffee, and more expensive. Its closer to my house so I sometimes go there when I'm in a rush, but it's usually a little bit of a let down. The baristas are never terribly friendly either. Not unfriendly, just kind of neutral. read more

We stopped here on our very long trek back home, and Yelped ourselves the only open coffee shop at 8pm. The gal at the drive thru was sweet enough to wash out and rinse our travel mugs and promptly refill them. I got the dark, my travel companion got a medium roast. go there if fuel espresso is closed. I personally am a big fan of this place however my girlfriend seems to have some reservations that I'm not sure are completely founded. We went there today for the second time and she had green tea smoothie with peach syrup which was positively divine. I, on the other hand, had an ice café latte with Irish cream syrup which was also simply smashing. And it is a nice touch that they have an espresso bean with each drink. Besides being owned by a very nice person, I find their Northwest franchise produces a better coffee bean to MY tastes. Perfect stop before going browsing/hiking/lugging at Costco across the street. I like the cup lids because you can close the spout, and they are better built. Plus, you get a coffee been with your mocha. Not many places do that anymore. read more

Awful experience all the way around. We are on vacation and have a human bean back home that we frequent daily. I tell you this because we had a punch card completely filled out from that location that the first girl said they would accept. We ordered 5 drinks. Long story short, another girl comes to the window and starts to argue with us regarding that specific card that she swore up and down was from this location where she personally wrote something in red ink on. We literally went back and forth 3 times and I just let it go, got my drinks and left. Horrible customer service. Now to the drinks......besides the kids smoothies everything else was blah. One thing that is a staple, at least the state we're from, is the espresso bean with every adult drink. The young lady that handed us our drinks asked with hesitancy if we would like the beans which led me to believe that a good deal of your customers are not getting the true human bean experience.
