I can't believe I haven't left a review given that I am here... often. Maybe too often. But the drinks are so good they have turned into a necessary treat to get my workdays off to a good start. My personal favorite is the Blended Human Bean Supreme - great flavor combo and their mochas aren't too sweet which I appreciate. The baristas are always friendly and they do an amazing job of moving the line quickly. Only point of feedback I would offer is that I wish their app had a full menu of alllll the different drink options. They have so many that are offered as specials but they aren't listed anywhere on the app or their website. read more

barista was a bit rude to me.... asked for something that should be able to be made sugar free and was told it can't. i bunch why would you advertise it like that but not follow through? got my drink. a 12 oz drink was $8. that's RIDICULOUS. first and last time coming here. i'll stick to dutch bros where I can get a large (32oz) for less than a small here. read more

The Human Bean use to be my favorite place to go for coffee. I always recommend them to my family and friends. They used to have great hours and great barista's however, anymore their hours are all over the place. You never know whether the place is going to be opened or closed when you pull up to the drive up. Unfortunately, it has forced me to take my business elsewhere. read more

Decided to stop by here while short on time in Fort Collins. Pleasantly surprised to find an extensive menu with many milk alternatives. The iced latte was one of the best I've had in a while. We go here pretty often but recently our experiences haven't been great. I love the drinks and the food options are good but you'll have to wait awhile despite it being a double sided drive through. Everyone is super nice but I do see the employees constantly stopping to talk to each other and I think it defeats the purpose of it being a drive-thru. We've also been getting little things wrong in our drinks like asking for no whip but getting it. Nothing ever tastes bad from this place just expect a longer wait if there is a line! read more

I love treating myself to a drink and go to the Human Bean in Wellington at least 4-5 times a week. When you pay over $7 for a 32oz lemonade with a bit of syrup, it is really upsetting when they deliver the drink with a fat milkshake straw because they have run out of the normal straws AGAIN! Maybe they should use more of their gross profit on a better supply chain solution as they are often out od the syrup I prefer ad well. read more

I went here all throughout grad school and loved this place. I just visited Fort Collins after being gone for 2.5 years and tried human bean for the nostalgia. They are still just as amazing! The staff are friendly and the drinks and baked goods are delicious. I love getting an iced toddy with chocolate milk and vanilla. Absolutely love this place!! The drinks are all delicious! My favorite is the mostly toasty chai! So good! I also love the little chocolate covered espresso beans they give you with your order. Cute! I just moved to the area and definitely will become a regular! Every time I have gone, the service has been quick even if the line was long and the baristas have always been incredibly friendly. They have a punchcard system and every 10 drinks you get a free one. Wednesdays are double punch days and sometimes they have double or triple punch surprise days. Love it! I love my coffee in the morning, it is the first thing I do when I wake up. Start the coffee, shower, drink the coffee. Exactly in that order. It is a bad day when I run out of grounds and dont realize it. This is where coffee shops come in handy, and to make it better driving thru one! Human bean is not a unique concept, but it is one of the few drive thru coffee shops in Fort Collins and something I wish we had more of. The waitress are always friendly and their drinks are pretty standard. I do love the addition of the chocolate covered espresso bean they add on top of every drink. For those of you who come here all the time make sure to start a punch card, and go by on Wednesdays (double punch day). Coffee might be expensive but for every 10 drinks ordered you get one free, why not. I like their monthly specials and they always try and have a new discounted daily special. I had to be in Ft Collins the other morning for work and passed the Human Bean, a little drive thru coffee joint that was cram-packed with cars out to the street. There are actually 2 drive thrus, so if you can squeeze past first line go to the right and circle around to the next drive up window on the opposite side. I was confused at first because I thought you ordered and paid on one side and maybe picked up the coffee on the other side, but I was wrong. They take orders from both windows on both sides, and even have a walk up window at the front. There were some cute college girls working when I rolled up, which I'm sure is an added attraction for all you men that go just for the coffee, right? Well I went just for the coffee, and I'm glad I did. I ordered the Kahlua Madness, and it was madness that I didn't order a bigger cup because I finished mine before I even got to Loveland. I could've taken advantage of the 32oz, but wow that seems like a lot. The espresso wasn't as strong as I was expecting, so if I ever get the chance to stop again I'll be sure to order an extra shot. Who doesn't love a surprise?! Well, I was pleasantly surprised to find a chocolate covered java bean swirling around on top the lid of my coffee cup when handed my order. I've decided to find a favorite coffee shop for every city I visit. So far, Human Bean is in the number one spot for Ft. Collins caffeine. (It is the only place I've acquired coffee in Ft. Collins, but still.) This place may remain in the number one spot for a few reasons: They have an addicting, unique little addition to their service: a chocolate covered espresso bean. I didn't expect for it to have the effect it has had on me. What's the effect you ask? It's been a few weeks since my chance visit and every time I consider driving up to a coffee serving window, I am saddened by the fact that they won't give me a delicious, crunchy piece of energy wrapped in rich chocolate like Human Bean did. The service, at the raw hour of 6:45am, was lovely. How did I find such an adorable drive-up window so far from my home at such an early hour? I was heading into downtown Ft Collins to run the Firecracker 5K and asked my FoCo friend who happened to be on the phone at the moment I needed coffee where I could find a locally owned coffee place. She explained that I would easily miss it if I wasn't looking and to keep my eyes peeled for a miniature shack on the east side of College Ave. Maybe it was my readiness to consume liquid energy, maybe the espresso bean I was about to receive has magical powers - but either way, I didn't miss it. Not even close. In fact, it might have been glowing as I pulled up and asked the nice little barista for my typical small, double-shot soy latte. The latte! Perfect! It is hard to screw up a latte, but some have done it, so I will state that Human Bean did not screw up my soy latte. It was just what I needed prior to running 3.2 miles on the 4th of July in the pouring Ft. Collins rain. Thanks little bean, I will miss you. read more

I stopped by The Human Bean today for the first time, and I'm so glad I did. I wasn't sure what I wanted, and the barista was so helpful! I didn't catch her name but her initials are SD. She took the time to ask me what I liked, and recommended the Sugar Mama. It is delicious!!! She also gave me a coupon for a free 16 oz drink the next time I come in, which is awesome b/c I will definitely be back regardless if I get a free coffee or not. I love this place! More often than not they recognize my car in line and my drink is made when I get to the window! How cool is that?? I love double punch Wednesday! I love that a barista is walking up and down the lines taking your order to make the lines go faster. Drinks are reasonably priced. I prefer Human Bean over Starbuck's. read more
